Ferrivia

Ferrivia is a health-focused startup dedicated to transforming how iron deficiency is understood, diagnosed, and treated. We are tackling the widespread yet under-recognized issue of iron deficiency: a condition that affects millions globally but often goes undetected or undertreated due to vague symptoms and outdated diagnostic practices. Our mission is to bridge the gap between research, technology, and care by building smarter tools and more personalized solutions. We’re especially focused on developing new ways to interpret data: like lab results and health histories, in a way that empowers both healthcare professionals and individuals. By increasing awareness, advancing diagnostics, and modernizing care pathways, we aim to make iron health visible, actionable, and more human-centered.

Monotree

We make branded community apps for desk-less workforces. Founded in 2019, Monotree is a fast growing and profitable start up with 200 customers in 14 different countries. We build everything in-house and believe that a state of the art product combined with worldclass service is the only war forward. We are a healthy and streamlined business that enjoys moving fast. Monotree consists only of highly skilled people, who get a maximum amount of freedom to contribute to the company in the way they see fit. We are a part of the new breed of tech companies where profitability matters - we are here tomorrow - and the day efter that. We play the long game. Monotree currently employs 9 people and we are actively hiring for more positions, with at least 4-5 people joining 2025. HQ is in Copenhagen, but some work remote. Company atmosphere is relaxed, we keep meetings to a minimum and let people dive deep into their work. We do spend a decent amount of our profits on eating out at very good restaurants.

We are a subscription-based journalistic media outlet that works uncompromisingly to uncover important stories, expose abuses of power, and set agendas that would otherwise be overlooked—always with the individual citizen and society as a whole in mind. We believe in transparency, integrity, and the courage to say what needs to be said. We are not friends with anyone, and we reject media subsidies and advertisers, making us accountable only to our subscribers. Only in this way can we produce completely independent, critical journalism for the benefit of both the individual citizen and society as a whole. We were founded in June 2021 by, among others, Mads Brügger, and we currently operate in Denmark and the Faroe Islands, where we publish articles and podcasts on our own platforms (web and app), as well as on social media and via newsletters. In both countries, we have experienced significant growth in the number of paying members.
