We solve the lack of modern, inclusive gaming- and hobby environments by offering a 655 m² hybrid hub built around TCG, esport, community events and structured activities, powered by strong partnerships, low inventory risk and a highly scalable franchise-ready model. ✅ 2: The What – The problem we are solving Across Denmark, young people and adult hobby enthusiasts lack safe, structured and inspiring spaces to gather around gaming, TCG and shared interests. Most environments are either too small, too informal or lacking supervision, creating a gap between commercial gaming cafés and traditional youth facilities. At the same time, parents struggle to find positive, healthy gaming communities for their children, while hobby players (Pokémon, Magic, Lorcana) lack dedicated spaces for trading, events and tournaments. This problem affects: Children and teens seeking social belonging Adults looking for hobby communities Parents who want structured and safe gaming spaces TCG players who currently lack large-scale physical hubs Municipalities who need modern, engaging offers for youth Retail customers who want combined experiences, not just shops The demand is widespread and growing. TCG, gaming and event-based hobby retail are among the fastest-growing entertainment segments in Europe. Yet Denmark remains underserved with almost no large-scale hybrid centers combining retail, gaming, community and structured activities. The concept is built to scale: simple operational procedures, strong supplier partnerships, low-risk inventory, and a community-first structure that can be replicated nationally. ✅ 4: The Why – Our motivation SGC Arena is founded by Heinrich Dam Jensen, former owner of the esports organization Dream Gaming in Rødovre Centrum, where he built a strong and healthy gaming community in 2020. When COVID forced that project to close, it sparked a deep understanding of what young people and hobby-focused adults truly need: a safe, structured, social and modern environment that supports healthy gaming behavior and real-world connections. The vision has grown stronger since. Heinrich has a background in police, defence, leadership and youth work, and has seen firsthand how powerful gaming and structured hobbies can be when given the right environment. This is the foundation of SGC Arena: creating Denmark’s leading chain of gaming- and TCG-based community hubs. We've built an innovative new bioreactor - a lab tool widely used in biotech and biopharma to screen and select valuable microorganisms which can be used in everything from food and medicine, to beauty products and more. Bioreactors are a cornerstone of biotech research, especially in the early stages of R&D. Our bioreactor, called ShakeReactor, stands out by being simple to use and extremely quick to set up - helping researchers increase their lab throughput.

MagnuTron is technically a system integrator that, over the past 10 years, has been building for both businesses and private clients, always focusing on tailored solutions. In 2017, we launched a webshop that allowed users to easily and intuitively configure their own computers based on their needs, without the fear of making the wrong choice. Unfortunately, this webshop had significant limitations in terms of scalability. The goal now is to create a new webshop from scratch, based on the same concept but with an expanded approach.

Our startup is revolutionizing the way football clubs train and develop their players by introducing an innovative, interactive training platform. However, it is often inefficient and time-consuming, particularly when done manually. Clubs also typically lack concrete data on how well players grasp tactical concepts. The understanding of tactics is often assumed rather than measured, leading to inconsistencies in player performance. This gap in assessment leaves coaches without reliable metrics to gauge tactical comprehension, hindering targeted improvement and strategic alignment.

Gate2Horizon is a new company, which leverages the experience of its employees in the domain of so-called "exploitation of project results" in large EU-funded Research & Innovation projects (under the Horizon Europe - Pillar II funding programme). We work across diverse sectors such as Bioeconomy, Circular Economy, Mining, Aquaculture, and Health Policy. As part of the consortium in the EU projects, we assist project partners in the exploitation of their project results with a hands-on approach and tools to make sure the results coming out of the project are "exploited" at the end of the project's lifetime, that is "made us of to tackle societal problems, in policymaking or for commercial purposes". In the initial phase, we identify and characterize results and their potential owners. We thereafter monitor them and select the ones with the most potential, which we nurture throughout the project lifetime with the help of our tools and services.​ We do it through: - conducting workshops on different commercial and entrepreneurial topics - holding individual coaching sessions with project partners - using credible methodologies such as the Value Proposition, Business Model Canvas, EC's Innovation Radar In a nutshell, we exploit the project results and help them on their journey towards market-ready and standalone businesses or we connect them to partners that can help with further research and development toward market readiness.
