Until now, software development for IoT devices has been stuck in the stone age, where updating software is risky and hard, and where a single bug anywhere in your code can break your entire device. Because of that, software on IoT devices is kept at a minimum, and all code is written before shipping the device, never to be touched again. With our platform, developers can easily implement functionality and applications while our platform ensures that the device keeps functioning no matter what. This is unleashing the creativity of software developers on IoT, and is letting them build groundbreaking products that touch the physical world. Toit is founded by the team of developers that previously built V8 for Chrome at Google, and is backed by Creandum, one of Europe’s leading early-stage venture capital firms.

Nicoline Hansen

Nicoline Hansen is searching for a partner with strong marketing and PR skills. It is Nicoline Hansen's mission to develop showpiece designs in sustainable latex for fashion connoisseurs. The Danish brand offers luxurious designs that make the customer stand out, thus making it easy to create a strong visual style. Latex has not yet reached its full potential as a high-fashion material and plant-based alternative to leather, although in recent years it has been used extensively by celebrities and has given an edge to luxury designs on the catwalk (Read here from Vogue https://www.vogue.co.uk/fashion/gallery/latex-aw20). Latex is strong and biodegradable just like leather, but vegan and far less harmful to the environment. It is tapped from rubber trees in Malaysia where working conditions and the environment are in order. Depending on the thickness and color, it looks and feels like silk or soft lambskin. It is comfortable to wear because it stretches and keeps its shape perfectly while adapting to the body's movements. Nicoline Hansen designs are unique because we create elegant and comfortable designs by combining them with other luxurious and biodegradable fabrics. The target group is the fashion connoisseur with a strong, innovative style. The customer finds joy in being creative when dressing and attracting the eyes of others. She/he lives an urban life and is enthusiastic about quality and sustainability when investing in garments. Customers are reached via Instagram and the webshop. I have a few selected retailers and expect to get more when production is in place. Challenges For several years I have worked with especially custom designs in latex, and been responsible for everything myself - development, design, marketing, pricing, production, etc. It has given me many skills, but also spread me thin over many tasks. I am currently looking for a manufacturer of my designs, and have contacted a company in Italy that has worked with latex for other luxury brands. I want to delegate as much as possible and focus on what I do best. My abilities lie in the product - elegant designs with an edge and great material know-how. Needs I am looking for a partner who compliments my abilities - who I can spar with and who can dedicate him/herself to sales and PR in luxury fashion. A partner who either has time to do the legwork or has the opportunity to invest and delegate to other specialists. With a unique brand and a strong collaboration, the potential is great and it is my ambition that we should be a well-known luxury brand. Culture Works is an award-winning cultural agency that develops, designs and creates brand activations, campaigns and events where brands and target groups meet each other. We have offices in Aarhus and Copenhagen, while our projects have long since moved beyond the Danish borders. Before COVID-19 hit the world, we lived primarily by creating physical events, but in record time we have transformed our business to also develop and design digital experiences and campaigns that include movies, web platforms, graphic design, live-streaming and large-scale landscaping SoMe campaigns. The future for us consists of both types of projects - also when the vaccine arrives. It started as a music association in 2010. BRØG

In BRØG we are developing a beautiful pour over coffee machine, where the user can control several variables in order to make their preferred cup of coffee. Our vision is to give the user the opportunity to brew the perfect cup of coffee while keeping the machine aesthetically beautiful. Besides that, we want to create an app where our customers can share, download and rate brews and thereby create a community similar to Vivino but for coffee lovers. Our customer segments consist primarily of coffee and design enthusiasts. The Scandinavian countries are the most coffee drinking nations worldwide, with a market potential of 800.000 sales - especially because black pour over coffee is the preferred brewing method. Furthermore, the design often matters a lot when Scandinavians buy new interior equipment and we plan on branding BRØG with that in focus. In order to brew a great cup of pour over coffee with the pour over method, you need to practice a lot to do it perfectly. This is where our machine comes into the picture. When using our machine, the user will be able to adjust all the crucial variables and thereby recreate their favorite cup of coffee every time. Besides that, our machine distributes the water correctly over the beans using our newly patented-pending water distributor. This will together with the right temperature, waterflow, bloom time and bloom water ensure a great cup of coffee. If the user is not an experienced barista or coffee connoisseur, they can use our app and in that find the coffee bean they are using (or a similar one) and see what settings other users have used and what the result was like. Anyone can therefore create a great cup of coffee with minimum effort or knowledge. All the components necessary to control these parameters require very little battery which, together with our battery pack, allows the user to brew a minimum of 100 cups of coffee before having to about recharging the machine. BRØG is portable and gives the user a lot of freedom which together with our design-protected design differentiates us from our competitors. The team consists of three Process and Innovation students from DTU. Our skills as a team cover the fundamental knowledge necessary to run a startup due to us having different qualities and interests. We have a great team spirit and know each other's strengths and weaknesses and help each other whenever the need arises. Two of us have been working on BRØG for the past one and a half years and are now going full time in our company, and the third partner just joined. Besides us, we have a strong team of advisors and mentors. Our advisory board consists of a business lawyer working with startups, a product developer, a business and market expert from CBS and an entrepreneur that we try to meet up with 6 times a year. Besides that, we have a mentor from a previous mentor program with years of experience as a designer within the same luxurious customer segment, who helps us create a beautiful and user-friendly product. This group of people have also helped us create a large network with contacts in all areas of expertise that we need to succeed.

Padelspecialist ApS er en startup og blev stiftet i efteråret 2020. Padelspecialist sælger padeludstyr til interesserede i padelsporten, som er blandt ét af verdens hurtigst voksende sportsgrene. På Padelspecialist.dk, som er hjemmesiden, vil du finde et udvalg af særligt udvælgte produkter, fra nogle af verdens mest anerkendte brand indenfor ketchersport. Niklas Bruun og Peter Gøggaard-Clausen, som er stifterne, er begge padelentusiaster. Gennem en fælles passion for sporten vil de ud og erobre skandinavien og efterfølgende dele af Europa. Med e-commerce erfaring, fra tidligere projekter, er de 2 gutter mere end forberedt til den spændende rejser, der ligger foran de to.

YANA COPENHAGEN er en dansk webshop med helseprodukter til de som går op i krop og sjæl. Vi sælger økologiske superfoods, bæredygtigt bestik og kokosskåle lavet af kokos som ellers ville blive kasseret. Vi gør det nemt og lækkert at føre en sund livsstil ved at sælge superfoods som kan komme i hverdags mad. Vi inspirere til en sund livsstil ved at dele lækre opskrifter med vores produkter.

Formery is a remote design and innovation agency, helping companies ideate, create and transform their products and services. With our subscription model, companies can have their external "inhouse" design department, creating continuity during the product development process. It is our goal to turn innovative ideas into reality, affordable and fast We have worked with companies like Kärcher, Danzka Vodka, Ghost-Bikes and received recognition with multiple international design awards. Currently we are developping a new way how (Creative) consulting services are consumed, offering the same quality services as traditional agencies but with way less overhead - by going remote and working with independent freelancers. Instead of working project based only, we offer subscription models to fit all types of companies and in all stages. Our goal is to create a platform where independent freelancers and studios can offer their services through formery - and we assure the quality and take care of the communications and organisation.

Vores mission er skabe øget trivsel, så brugerne får et bedre liv. Det vil vi gøre ved at udvikle en teknologi, der giver organisationer mulighed for at tilbyde deres medlemmer unikke sundhedsydelser, der øger livskvaliteten. Vi er et team af specialister med dyb teknisk forståelse, og ideen til unikk.me opstod, da vi koblede vores viden om teknologi med ønsket om at gøre en forskel for den enkelte bruger. A Krismis Story The julegenser.no project is simply a result of our very first ugly christmas sweater love affair! After a visit to Canada in 2012, two sumptuous, LED flashing ugly christmas sweaters came with us home to winter Oslo, Norway. The sweaters evoked this childlike happiness over the Christmas celebration, both in us and in everyone else when we wore them to Christmas parties and we noticed that we wanted more of this feeling. We simply wanted more of such sweaters! It was easier said than done in 2012. But, if you do not find what you are looking for, you can make it yourself...so then we did it. Although it took its time. With our brand 'Krismis' https://krismis.com, we want to share this sparkling, warm Christmas feeling with you. This way you can also have the Christmas atmosphere in your wardrobe all year round, and always have something to wear at the Christmas party, not matter what. We simply love Christmas sweaters! Littleunbox er et månedligt abonnement, der er skræddersyet til gravide og forældre til babyer, som er mellem 0 og 2 år. Produkterne i boksen er særligt tilpasset til barnets alder og udvikling. Hver måned modtager vores medlemmer udvalgte kvalitets produkter til barnet, samt overraskelser der kan glæde mor, og far. De udvalgte kvalitetsprodukter vil hver måned variere og indeholde både økologiskbabymad, plejeprodukter samt lege- og pusleprodukter. Som nybagt mor, havde jeg set et stort behov for at blive inspireret af de kvalitetsprodukter til min baby, der er relevante for mig uden at jeg selv forestå al research på produkterne. Der fødes over 61.000 børn om året i Danmark og jeg ville gerne levere en service til de nybagte forældre, som gør det første år med den ny baby nemmere. Derfor har jeg oprettet littleunbox.dk og lancerede den 17. maj 2020.

Nordic Startup School

Nordic Startup School aims to be the best program for pre-seed startups in Europe. While Tomi Terentjeff was living in US, he noticed that plenty of Finnish startups showed interest on US markets and were coming there to scout the market. Unfortunately, most of the startups were not prepared to enter the US market, since a lot of funding is required and startups need to be precise on what they are doing and what value it is provided to the customers. Nordic Startup School was then founded to improve the quality of startups and educate their founders to become the best possible entrepreneurs they can be because companies come and go, but founders stay around longer. Nordic Startup School is based on values that we all believe in, centered on the “No assholes” rule. We make a long-term impact on startups and thus on society, but we do not compromise on our values for any amount of money. We want to be an example of inclusiveness, diversity, openness, and genuine cooperation. We aim to be the “hippie VC”, as we have been nicknamed. We are professional and efficient yet chill since we understand that all is temporary and one day we will be dead, and rather do things we are passionate about than live in regret our beautiful existence.

Shades of Love

SHADES OF LOVE collects new and used sunglasses and distributes them in remote high mountain regions. In the Himalayas and the Andes, the majority of the population lives in extremely remote regions at an altitude of 2,500 to 6,500 meters. They are exposed to harmful UV rays all year round. Even when it’s cloudy, the UV-radiation penetrates these high-altitude areas. The unique geological and climatic conditions make the sun exposure there so incomparably dangerous. In these heights, the UV filter of the atmosphere is 5 kilometres shorter, than under ‘normal’ conditions. Up to 80% of the population suffers from eye diseases, blindness, or cancer in their lifetime. Many indigenous people fall victim to eye diseases before they turn 30 years old. Some of these diseases are even deadly. Normally, they lead to blindness. Consequently, many can no longer pursue their work, due to blindness and are thus threatened in their existence. It is scientifically proven that living in high altitude correlates strongly with visual impairment. It’s also proven that quality sunglasses can mitigate infection risks and rates. We have distributed hundred thousands of sunglasses to people in the most remote high-altitude regions in the world to prevent the issue and its consequences. We also conduct eye surgeries together with local and foreign doctors to not only prevent, but also cure ocular diseases. Since the start of our project we have expanded and moved beyond the Himalayas to help as many people in need as possible.
