Barcontrol has been a supplier of checkout and logistics systems to the restaurant industry for over 20 years. We were one of the first on the market with iPad-based solutions when we started with Gastrofix in 2014. We are a one-stop shop and assist restaurants all the way with the choice of cash register solution, from advice and implementation to operation and support. We also develop integrations to connect the checkout solution with accounting, inventory management, ordering solutions and more. We tailor solutions that are suitable for everything from large restaurant chains to small coffee and wine bars. We will be restaurant owners' preferred partners for technology solutions.

Although society aims at replacing fossil resources with sustainable, renewable alternatives, the production of many materials like plastics and rubbers are still very dependent on fossil fuels. To replace petrol-based rubbers in consumer products, we developed a process to transform birch bark, an abundant residue of the global forestry industry, into the novel biomaterial, Reselo Rubber. Based on a comprehensive material characterisation and encouraging feedback from customers we believe that Reselo Rubber has great potential to replace fossil-derived rubbers in applications like footwear, protective gear, playground flooring and toys.

Pizza records can be associated a bit to soul food, inspired by afro-american music & food culture, traveling and music history. Analogies can be made to the music world and more specifically to the shape/visuals of vinyls. While having a touch of nostalgia through the analogies to past tunes, music & culture, pizza records should be marked by modernity traits through colours, fronts for example. Supercharging database performance to reduce server costs & server energy consumption. Vesiro is an early-stage startup that is developing an add-on to Elasticsearch to enable much better search performance. The product is in part based on our novel, patented search algorithms. Initial tests on data from Common Crawl (which is the same data used to train ChatGPT) shows that we can cut search times in Elasticsearch by 30-50% depending on search type used. The increase in search speed means that our software enables a more efficient use of servers in Elastic clusters, helping our customers save money on servers. It also means that the software reduces server energy consumption as fewer servers are needed to do the same amount of search. Vesiro was one of 20 companies to be accepted among 2500 companies applying globally to participate in the Norrsken Accelerator 2023.
