OrderBuddy

OrderBuddy is a digital menu platform that helps dining places to an efficient and quick order flow without getting annoyed customers. We have all been out in a dining situation where the waiters are too busy to get to you, and it takes the fun away from being there with friends and family. What if you could just order and pay, have fun with the people you are there with, and then wait to get served. After you're done, you can order more, or leave the place without getting the waiter one more time. OrderBuddy is an ordering system, where guests can place and pay their orders directly from the table on their own phones. No need to install anything, just scan the QR code on the table, or go to the webpage and find the dining place, add items to the cart and pay. The order goes directly to the kitchen or bar. The idea for OrderBuddy of course started when I was out dining with some friends. The place was busy, and we actually wanted to order a new round of beer to the table, however the waiters were too busy elsewhere, and when we finally got a hold of the waiter we decided to just pay. The restaurant lost revenue and ended up with customers who had a bad experience.

Nurses have been mistreated for a long time. Now the tables have turned – there will be a larger labor shortage of nurses than software engineers by 2024. Bemlo matches healthcare professionals with their dream job. We remove the hassle of finding work so that they can do what they do best – saving lives.

DTACT

At DTACT we work on the front line of data automation and security development, exploring undiscovered grounds to fulfil our social (and corporate) responsibility. DTACT Raven is our flagship product, which is an end-to-end data pipeline and data streaming platform - built with a modular brick framework to work seamlessly with open source, proprietary and third-party software. The company was founded in the Netherlands in 2017, and a big portion of our team is Dutch, along with colleagues from Denmark, Germany, Singapore and Australia. Our tech stack consists mostly of React, Golang, Rust and Python. All resulting in a Cloud Native platform.

Maka

Maka is a designer of premium quality bags, clothing, boards, and apparel for skaters currently launching worldwide with our first two products; water-resistant skateboard bags in two unique designs that make transporting your board 100x easier. Who is behind Maka? Maka is driven by a dedicated team in Medellín, Colombia. Maka is the brainchild of two skaters; Diego Pineda (CEO) and Jorge Calle (Lead Designer). Diego was born in Colombia but fled to Arizona, USA, with his family in 1999 due to violence. He picked up skating immediately and would go on to work for skate shops and tour the country with a team. He returned in 2008 to study International Business, although he never put down his board, certain that he would find a way to make a living out of skating. Jorge was born in raised in a small ghetto in Medellín, Colombia. While many of his friends found their way into drugs and violence, Jorge found his way forward in life either on top of a skateboard or behind a sewing machine. His true passion is to create without limits, to try, to fail, and to try again until he’s created the best there possibly could be. So Diego, why did you start Maka? I live a pretty simple life philosophy; I do what I enjoy doing. However, like everyone (especially skaters), it can be hard to do what you really enjoy and pay the bills. I’ve always looked up to the skate culture for inspiration ever since I started to understand it – the style, the clothes, the street, the attitude to be against the norm of society… It’s a close-knit community, although it’s an individual activity. You don’t need a team to be able to skate. It’s a way of self-expression, and that, for me, is the starting point of it all. What is the ambition of Maka? There are not many cultures that truly accept everyone. Skateboarding does. White, black, green, yellow, purple, tall, short, weird, funny, cool – everyone is accepted because it’s about your individuality. For the majority of my life, most of the people I’ve met come from skateboarding. It all comes down to having fun. Learning, falling, and getting back up. So, why does all of this relate to ambition? Because, while we’re taking the brand worldwide, we also want to seize the opportunity to support more kids with what skating has given us; a way to express ourselves, a sense of purpose, and life-long friends. Skating made our lives what they are, and now it’s time to give back. 10% of all profits go towards supporting social causes here in the city of Medellín. De fleste kunstnere bliver ikke opdaget eller modtager den anerkendelse, de fortjener, for deres kunst. Combify är ett Svenskt bolag som startades 2017 med missionen att göra fastighetsinformation mer tillgänglig och lättare att arbeta med. Idag är vi Sveriges ledande digitala tjänst för att hitta nya fastighetsprojekt och exploateringsmöjligheter. De flesta av våra användare är fastighetsutvecklare, arkitekter, etablerare eller infrastrukturbolag. Alla användare har en gemensam nämnare, de alla är intresserade av att sälja och/eller köpa kommersiella fastigheter.
