UNSILO

UNSILO provides tools for automated text intelligence. Working with academic publishers, law firms, patent companies, and intellectual property agents, in short in any area where there is a large quantity of textual content, UNSILO delivers tools for faster discovery of content, and deeper engagement with it. UNSILO uses a unique combination of machine-learning and natural language processing to discover a document’s DNA.  Its customers include Springer Nature, one of the world’s largest academic publishers. The team behind UNSILO has authored a dozen search-related patents, architected major e-commerce sites, pioneered open-source security systems, and managed product development teams in Silicon Valley.

Our Mission: Normative is here to make known and reduce the sustainability impact of all economic activities on the planet. We provide science-based carbon accounting software and tailored advice from net zero experts, enabling companies to reduce their carbon footprints. Our Story: Normative is rooted in climate research. In 2013, co-founder Kristian Rönn was working at Oxford University, simulating the consequences of climate change. The results showed that global warming would cause extreme human suffering, motivating Kristian to leave academia and take action. He joined forces with Adam Wamai Egesa and Robin Undall-Behrend, and in 2014 the world’s first carbon accounting engine was born to help humanity achieve net zero emissions and reverse the trajectory of climate change. We now have offices in Stockholm, Copenhagen, and London, and are actively hiring talent to join the mission. Today, companies from around the world trust our carbon accounting engine to help them reduce their carbon footprint. We partner with leading climate change organisations including the UN, to deliver actionable sustainability intelligence and have received a grant from Google. We are backed by some of the world’s most significant climate investors, and are the official software provider for the UN-backed SME Climate Hub initiative through which thousands of small businesses have committed to net zero. Monetor is an automated currency department for corporate market. The market segment is hugely under-serviced and Monetor will offer the similar services that a large corporate enjoys to small and medium sized companies.Non-transparent pricing and partially complex solutions of foreign exchange products coupled with marginal resources and competence are challenging factors for the SME market, when doing cross border business. Our offering is to gather and analyse vendor invoices, historical transactional information, FX rate feeds thereby providing the user with real-time Monitoring of currency exposure on an invoice by invoice basis. This information will be used to determine the to the customer cost regarding currency exposure and cross border payments. Monetor will execute spot payments and hedge future credits/debits, within the parameters of the firms’ pre-set policy or strategy for managing foreign exchange risk.  Our aim is to reduce the costs to the business and eliminate currency risk.
