Based in Kongsberg - the heart of the Subsea Valley - Kongsberg Ferrotech is utilizing world-leading competence to develop the first-ever automated solution, the Oktapous, for riser cleaning, NDT inspection, maintenance (coating), and structural repair (glass/carbon fiber reinforcement). The repair will be performed inside the patented Habitat - allowing for composite repairs subsea and in the splash zone while offering quality as if the repair was performed in a laboratory environment. The Oktapous will offer the client around 50% cost reduction, together with improved quality and significantly reduced HSE risk compare to existing solutions by removing the need for rope access, divers, and ROVs. Kongsberg Ferrotech is partly funded by the Malaysian-based oil and gas company, Petronas Charigali. This ensures us access to the market needs during development, an offshore platform for prototype testing, and the critical first client for market acceptance. ÅBEN is a Danish craft brewery, located in Copenhagen. We opened in 2017 and have since grown drastically with bars in Aarhus, Roskilde and Copenhagen with presence across most of Europe. Experimentation is part of ÅBEN’s DNA and our beer catalog consists of beers ranging from hoppy IPAs and fruity sours to dark Imperial stouts. This year we opened our new brewery in Copenhagen which will significantly increase capacity allowing us to brew more of the beers we love. Besides the brewery, the location in Kødbyen also consists of a permanent tank bar with taproom and restaurant to be opened in 2023, where guests are seated in between the fermentation vessels. Creating experiences is an important part of ÅBEN's DNA which is why we regularly host events and participates in collaborations across the industry. ÅBEN consists of approximately 60 people spread across 3 beer bars and the office and brewery in Copenhagen.

The problem: Setting accurate prices on your product or service is something many companies struggle with. Usually you look at your margins and/or your competitors to try and come up with a suitable price. ...But there is another way. You can measure the true willingness to pay, in real time. This also allows you to differentiate who wants to pay, and what in your product or feature your customers like the most. What's next is automating this and building a software that brings this tool to every company who wishes to make data driven decisions. Why is this worth solving? We believe that many companies are leaving money at the table. We have seen from our experience in Atenga insights (our sister company) that when it comes too pricing, companies generally do not have a clue on how much they can price. It is more common to look at competitors and the company's margins, rather than willingness to pay. Furthermore, the data we gather also tells us who wants to pay what. This is differences in demographics, and the granularity in the data also provides insights into what they want to pay for. In simpler terms, you can find out exactly what drives that particular customer to buy your product, why and at what price. Vision: Allowing companies to autonomously launch a project to answer any version of questions relating to the willingness to pay. The initial version will allow for a 24-48h turn around but the ultimate goal is live updates.

Supercharging database performance to reduce server costs & server energy consumption. Vesiro is an early-stage startup that is developing an add-on to Elasticsearch to enable much better search performance. The product is in part based on our novel, patented search algorithms. Initial tests on data from Common Crawl (which is the same data used to train ChatGPT) shows that we can cut search times in Elasticsearch by 30-50% depending on search type used. The increase in search speed means that our software enables a more efficient use of servers in Elastic clusters, helping our customers save money on servers. It also means that the software reduces server energy consumption as fewer servers are needed to do the same amount of search. Vesiro was one of 20 companies to be accepted among 2500 companies applying globally to participate in the Norrsken Accelerator 2023. This means that we have been recognized as one of the world’s foremost high potential impact startups.
