YOUNG SUSTAINABLE IMPACT

Young Sustainable Impact (YSI) was started in 2016 by a group of youth in Norway who saw the cop21, Paris conference and looked ahead. We believe innovation and entrepreneurship can solve most of our challenges in the world, that youth are the driving force, and in collaboration with the experienced and established – it can be done. Innovation program: We aim to find the best talents in the world, to create impact startups to tackle the UN Sustainable Development Goals.  In Oslo we are a group of very different people, who somehow ended up together, with the same mission. We have fun, excited people who are trying their best to help people and at the same time grow into becoming that person who can influence the world in a positive direction. It's about the main goal, and not being recognized yourself - which is why any disagreement we have, turns out in a positive energy. The power of trying to get YSI to do the most good, is vital! We have found a great spot in Greenhouse, with a gaming room, ping pong, garden on the roof, (A ROOF), and other cool companies from all fields imaginable. At the same time, we work with teams in Bangladesh, South-East Asia, and China. Extremely different cultures, who also have the same goal as us. This is both hard and exciting at the same time.

Ardoq

Documentation of the things that make your organization function – processes, systems, capabilities, strategies – can quickly get spread out across many tools.  Ardoq keeps that information in a single place and makes sure it stays up-to-date through automation and collaboration. We offer a complete SaaS solution using some of the most exciting technology.  Working at numerous companies, big and small, we always had trouble finding historical documentation. It took days to navigate the local system architecture. And even when we found documentation, the lack of standardization made things even harder. To make matters worse, we never really understood the big picture, “how were we affecting other teams, processes, and systems?” we could never know. All this wasted time was costing these companies money and causing employees huge amounts of frustration, especially when new staff arrived. So we decided to stop pulling our hair out and created a lightweight, easy-to-use alternative to the solutions you find in enterprise architecture and documentation software.

ftrack

ftrack is cloud-based collaboration for creative companies, and we aim to simplify the process from pitch to screen. It enables users to set up projects, allocate tasks, track their work, make notes together - all in the same space. ftrack offers more insight into the process, such as how much time they spend in different areas, resulting in a clear project overview and better time management. We have clients from about 60 countries, and our largest markets are in the US, the UK, and Germany. Our team focuses on the success of our customers - we make sure that we develop features that can help them reach their goals. It is important for us to focus on the right things as we see results immediately. To do so, we need to interact with our clients, which we do by for instance chatting and answering our phones any time of the day. In the beginning, we worked so hard for something for a long time, but everything improved when we started with one simple thing: listening to our customers. ftrack is a flat organization, and we give the opportunity to work from home on Thursdays. Work balance is important to us, and our business is built on trust. Everything we do can be done from anywhere, but we like spending time together at the office. Sometimes we go to the cinema after work, and we arrange internal hackathons.

Our product is a tool for anyone to deal with the fast paced environment that is our society, and to rewire inside yourself. The Mindfulness App is available on iPhone and Android and we are currently developing a new, subscription-based, business model.  We are a multinational team working hard to connect the digital world with self-awareness and meditation. Our team consists of mindfulness teachers from all over the world, developers, designers and yoga teachers. We respect each other’s different competencies and we value tolerance above anything else.At MindApps, we listen to suggestions from everyone on the team to make sure that everybody has an impact on the future of the company. Likewise, we also listen very carefully to our customers and base our features on their needs. We offer flexible working hours and the opportunity to work from home even though most of us tend to be at the office. Sometimes we need to get out of the office to get inspiration and motivation, like for instance last week when we went to the Modern Museum. Before every meeting, we always have a meditation session (well, obviously).

LetsBuild

LetsBuild, the future of construction... Construction is one of the biggest sectors in the world in terms of value, but maybe even bigger in terms of its impact on our lives. We live and work in buildings, we travel to work or on holiday using infrastructure, we are surrounded by the output of this industry. But construction is also in trouble, haunted by cost and time overruns and poor quality; challenges that can be addressed today with modern technologies based on mobile and cloud, together with a better understanding of the benefits of data insight and decision making. Someone needs to bring a new and innovative solution to construction, to connect workers on site with people at the office and to all machines and sensors to create one big operating system that runs smoothly and transparently. That “someone” is LetsBuild. The founders and partners of LetsBuild are passionate about helping construction to become better, cleaner and more efficient. We want to build a great company, to help construction to digitalise and become Connected Construction. We hope you will join us as colleague, user, customer or maybe as a partner. We are LetsBuild.

Werktøj.dk

Vi vil helst ikke sige det højt, for det er ekstremt hypet, men… Vi arbejder med AI. Alt lige fra rådgivning, til udvikling og implementering af AI – you name it, we got it.

Elysium Energy

Elysium Energy is building the AI-enabled platform that accelerates energy decentralization by unifying distributed energy resource (DER) projects with developers, capital, and expertise in a marketplace ecosystem. We're eliminating the fragmentation that kills 90% of DER projects by creating a single source of truth across the entire project lifecycle—from concept to operation. We have 5 active design partners across US, UK, and Indonesia, 2 pilot projects converting to paid customers, and have raised $150K SAFE from ERA plus $100K in non-dilutive grants. Our MVP is live and demonstrating 18% CAPEX reduction and 20% OPEX savings for energy projects. We're addressing a $16B software opportunity in the rapidly growing DER market.
