This new way of transportation will increase the frequency and flexibility of test delivery, as drones can be deployed on an as-needed basis, which will drastically improve the diagnosis process in districts. An analysis posten IEEE showed how drone transportation of biological samples could save the Danish authorities 300 MNOK/year.
