HackYourFuture is a non-profit that aims to train refugees, asylum seekers and other marginalised groups in Denmark to become web-developers and empower them by opening the doors to a very in-demand job market. In our 32-week program volunteer IT-professionals train students with and without a coding background in modern JavaScript software development and guide them towards work via our network. We are currently 4,5 people working on this project, but the heart of our organisation are our amazing volunteer mentors, teachers and students. In the past 7 years we can happily look back and say we worked with tons of great people and organisations, which has created a super unique and tight community around our program and we plan to keep it this way! The idea behind Plecto was born.   After developing a working version of the platform overnight, Kristian presented to his boss a dashboard that would visualize call activity data in real time and rank employees based on their performance. His boss immediately bought a television and dedicated Kristian's time to managing and improving the software.   Once he saw the impact that the dashboard had on his team, Kristian decided to hit the road - quitting his job, teaming up with long-time friend Aleš Kocjančič and rebuilding the software from scratch.   Four years and three different offices later, Plecto is a growing team of eight delivering dashboards to over 65,000 sales, customer service and call center reps.
