We worked together in Microsoft and often discussed how to address daily tasks through the use of new technologies. Like many others we too forgot parent events and showed up for footballmatches at the wrong times. We needed a better solution, and we built Truegroups so that parents, without any real effort, can have full overview to their family’s activities in less than 30 seconds. We cut through the chaos of endless emails, multiple websites, Facebook groups, handwritten notes and documents. To minimize the parent effort required, we built Truegroups to cover the needs of associations, coaches, class contacts and preschool-managers. In 1994, two programmers started working on a web browser. Our little piece of software gained traction, our group grew, and we formed a community. We stayed close to our users and our roots. We kept improving our software based on our user feedback, as well as our own ideas on how to make a great browser. We innovated and strove for excellence. Fast forward to 2015. The browser we once loved has changed its direction. Sadly, it is no longer serving its community of users and contributors — who helped build the browser in the first place. So we came to a natural conclusion: we must make a new browser. A browser for ourselves and for our friends. He studied a Master in Computer Science at Blekinge Institute of Technology in Sweden and worked at the IT University of Copenhagen.Tee Fwo Yi, Jude is working as a research and marketing analyst. Fwo Yi is a registered nurse in Malaysia and has a combination of public health and international research experience across Sweden, Singapore and Malaysia. She graduated with a Master in Global Health from Karolinska Institutet 2016 and analysed data from the Regassa study in Sweden.Mattias Hammarhorn started at MyIndicators as an intern and is now working as a Full stack developer.
