Hydrosafe

In 2020, we created Hydrosafe after winning the Start-Up Programme by FFE for the idea of protecting hydraulic connections on agricultural machinery against dust and other particles. Since then, we have patented and developed a grip that provides farmers with the ability to identify (colors/ID), handle (grip) and maintain (rubber bellow) their hydraulic hoses/connections without wasting time on cleaning the couplings to prevent leaks. Today, Hydrosafe is the only start-up developing smarter accessories for hydraulic connections on agricultural equipment and construction machinery. As fun and sexy as that might sound, we enjoy aiding farmers and workers all around the world with the ability to become sustainable and efficient in handling and maintaining their hydraulics. The main problem we are solving concerns dust and other particles entering the hydraulic system through the hydraulic connection, causing malfunctions, leaks, downtime etc. Our product solves this at root cause as the dust can no longer reach the connection in the first place. It is designed and manufactured based on great demand from end customers, which is why we set sail to become the innovative suppliers behind smarter handling of hydraulic connections. If you have no clue about the shape, sizes and functions of hydraulic connections, then do not worry. It is quite simple and we did not grow up as farmers. There will be no doubts after you have seen the product in action. At Hydrosafe we are investing ourselves in a healthy and growing environment packed with dedication, honesty and joy. We support each other and work very close to assure: ✓ Flexibility in our worklife to enable ourselves to carry responsibility ✓ Customer-based innovation as a key mind-set and competitive advantage ✓ Sustainability for our suppliers and customers ✓ A warm, respectful and spacious working environment with great collaboration and room for everyone.

deidei

Hey hey, we are deidei. We're a Nordic-based global DEI agency that helps your organization reach its full potential. It's not really a story of why we wanted to start deidei, but why we had to. There were three reasons. One of them was the enormous need we saw for a DEI agency that genuinely understands DEI as both a people case and a business case. For true impact, DEI has to be looked at as continuous business development, not a box to tick. Another reason: we needed to build ourselves the kind of company we dreamed of working at, with DEI in its DNA. We knew we had to practice what we preach, and we needed a safe, kind and ambitious environment to do that. And finally, the most important reason of all: we started deidei, because ultimately we want to see a world where our services are no longer needed. That’s why we had to.

Kintella

Kintella improves dialogue between relatives and staff within the caregiving sector. Today, dialogue in the caregiving sector is inefficient and insufficient. Time is spent on coordination, not care. Dialogue is on practicalities, not personalities. By 2050, 17% of the global population will be 65+. In Denmark 65+ year olds will increase by more than 40%. Many of them in need of care. Global shortages in the caregiving sector leaves relatives to be the backbone of caregiving. Relatives who are juggling caring for elderly family members with holding down full-time jobs. Kintella offers multiple services through one user-friendly platform. We digitize and automate the coordination of calendars and tasks. We structure and target the communication. At the same time, we integrate with health care systems. Kintella started out of a personal experience of the founders. At the same time as a family member moved into a care home in Denmark, other family members moved into care homes other places in Europe. The family wanted to be able to stay close and follow the citizens in their everyday life as it was difficult to visit - especially during Covid-19 lockdowns in Europe. We were faced with having to coordinate a lot of tasks and calendar-topics - both with the staff and within our group of relatives. Moreover, communication from the care homes was poor in some areas which affected the quality of the dialogue with the family members and staff badly. We dream of the day when staff or a relative of a citizen in a care home comes up to us and says that Kintella has supported them in providing a better value of life for the person they’re taking care of.

Spect8

Spect8 is a norwegian tech startup with a mission to help sports organizations, pro-athletes and sponsors that don’t have enough time, capacity, or the necessary skills to reach their potential in growing fan engagement and commercial value. Due to the power of association among consumers, brands allocate an increasing amount of their advertising budgets towards sports teams and athletes. To measure the value of a sponsorship, sponsors rely on manual measurements and expensive consulting services. At the same time, athletes, clubs, and federations are left with few resources to decide what their commercial value is, and often forfeit revenue (and funding for their sport) by underselling their commercial value. To solve this problem, we have developed a tool called Foqus. Foqus is an easy-to-use machine learning tool created for sports teams and individual athletes to determine their commercial value for sponsorships, and for brands to manage and measure multiple agreements. We are currently working with Norsk Toppfotball, sports associations, clubs and and several brands, and are off to a good start to reach our goal of creating a new industry standard for how sponsorship value is created, measured, and driven. The existing team consists of three business developers with expertise in strategy, marketing, sponsorship, data and analysis. In addition, we have associated development teams with both front-end, back-end and database expertise. We have recently become a part of StartupLab's Accelerator program, are supported by Innovation Norway and have ambitions to scale our business both nationally and internationally in the coming years. We therefore wish to expand our team with a skilled developer who also wants to make a professional career as an entrepreneur. The CTO will have the overall responsibility for the further development and scaling of our core product, Foqus, as well as the development of new tools and concepts going forward.

Abacube

Abacube is automating the way insurance companies calculate the compensation for personal injuries. We're helping the companies save time while making sure the policy holders are getting the compensation they should. Every year, more than 90 000 personal injuries are compensated based on tort law, only in Sweden. All these cases are treated by the exact same practice, yet all companies have their own way of doing the calculations. Abacube is building a SaaS service to automate the way insurance companies are adjusting these claims. Abacube is built on the idea from senior claims adjusters who've had a front row seat to the pain we are solving. Having spent years doing these calculations with pen, paper and solar powered calculators we decided it's time to make a change!

Lawla Technologies AB

Lawla is developing a legal tech SaaS platform to help Lawyers in Sweden doing legal investigations in an efficient way that saves them time and makes it easier to collaborate by having a structured approach to legal investigations that are integrated with legislation and which is searchable and can be reused and collaborated on. Currently dispute lawyers often do their legal investigations by copying and pasting legislation into word documents that are then email back and forth to their colleagues. This makes it hard to reuse because the format often varies, and they are often hard to find when needed. Lawla’s SaaS for legal investigations have a well-defined structured and integrates with digital legislation (laws, cases, literature). The investigations created in Lawla can be shared within the firm so that the team can collaborate and then they are searchable. We got started because we realized there is a real need for a product like this and the current players don’t seem inclined to build it. When we started discussing the product, we realized that our combined skillset would be ideal for building this product and we worked very well together. When analyzing the market, we realized the level of technology is pretty low compared to most other industries and our approach with a much more tech and AI heavy approach to this would be very different from existing products. We are two founders, one who has a long background as a lawyer and one who has a long background in tech and machine learning.
