Einka Økonomi' solution aims to prevent financial stress by providing knowledge, coaching and necessary tools to address the effect financial difficulties can have on life areas such as mental health, legal disputes and family economy planning. EINKA wants to be a completely neutral information channel, that employers can rely on to bring their employees closer to financial wellness. We are developing a knowledge hub that will help users in differing financial situations, building a tailor-made journey comprising of interactive financial tools, tutorials, strategy guides and virtual coaching with the purpose of achieving greater financial wellness for the user and increased productivity as a result - for the business. Our preliminary research has shown us that in the first quarter of 2019, the total amount of claims amounted to NOK 1 billion in Norwegian debt collection cases. In August of 2019, NAV stated that eight per cent of Norwegian employees had forced salary deductions. Personal economy subjects are not obligatory within the Norwegian schooling system, rather most people are educated on these topics via banks and other financial institutions, or often through following in their family's footsteps. This results in a knowledge gap and a hurdle for social mobility. As social entrepreneurs we have seen that nothing is being done to alleviate these problems in an effective way, so we have decided to take a stance, and commit to being the solution. Our solution will positively impact your business through helping to alleviate the stresses that come with poor financial wellbeing. A number of studies have shown direct links between financial stress and poor physical and mental health. It affects the individual, their family and loved ones and their businesses. Student Survival Guide is a community-driven project that is gathering in one platform all important information about university life in a foreign country. Students can also find tips from former students, learn more about daily life in the new country, and discover local gems, only other students know about. We are also running a weekly live broadcast where students can engage in a conversation about current events in the country and the world. We provide people with information that is crucial to a successful and happy life in Denmark. And we make sure that the information is correct, easy to understand, and actionable. We are making sure that we include the community, answer questions that people are asking, and touch on topics, which most other publicly funded organizations cannot. After a successful year on the market, we have learned how to communicate key information in an effective way, either through videos, articles or live streams. After our platform grew, we understood from peoples feedback that they needed a strong sense of community. Therefore, we are organizing weekly meetings in Aarhus, where all like-minded students can meet and work together on common goals. We have developed the project to it’s near full-market potential. We are present on all key platforms where the target group is and we have established an organizational structure that is recruiting more members. We are technologically capable to execute large projects and collaborations. We are part of AU Incubator since 2019, where we have held conversations with startup advisors. Consequently, we are using AU Incubator as a meeting point for the community that builds Student Survival Guide. Student Survival Guide is run by Michael Mares and Jaroslav Vyhnak, both 24 year old Master’s Degree Students in Economics and Business Administration at Aarhus University in Denmark. However, Student Survival Guide is a community-run project where a key asset are the contributors that write and share their knowledge. The contributor can be anyone with experience of the Danish way of life and schooling. So far, SSG has had more than 20 contributors. All of the contributors are bachelor’s/master’s degree students from international backgrounds. Contributors form teams that are responsible for various areas of the project, such as blogging, social media, video editing, news research and community management. All of the teams have their respective managers, who collaborate together to ensure proper project development. We have so far been able to reach more than 100,000 people through social media, gained more than 5,000+ followers on social media and got our videos viewed more than 43,000 times. On top of this, more than 10,000 students have already read our blogs and ‘survival guides’ to Denmark, on our website. We got the project to the point where many of the students prefer to contact us with their questions rather than relying on their universities or other ‘resourceful’ institutions.

Nordic Startup School aims to be the best program for pre-seed startups in Europe. While Tomi Terentjeff was living in US, he noticed that plenty of Finnish startups showed interest on US markets and were coming there to scout the market. Unfortunately, most of the startups were not prepared to enter the US market, since a lot of funding is required and startups need to be precise on what they are doing and what value it is provided to the customers. Nordic Startup School was then founded to improve the quality of startups and educate their founders to become the best possible entrepreneurs they can be because companies come and go, but founders stay around longer. Nordic Startup School is based on values that we all believe in, centered on the “No assholes” rule. We make a long-term impact on startups and thus on society, but we do not compromise on our values for any amount of money. We want to be an example of inclusiveness, diversity, openness, and genuine cooperation. We aim to be the “hippie VC”, as we have been nicknamed. People living with diabetes and the healthcare sector currently spend billions on continuous glucose measurement (CGM) sensors. Despite the ease and convenience of use, patients and their caregivers are currently drowning in data generated by CGM since we still lack digital tools to generate automated analyses and interpretations. Digital Diabetes Analytics ( DD Analytics) provides a state of the art automated digital solution which analyzes CGM data and generates systematic interpretations to truly transform diabetes care – Diabetes 3.0. We are developing a never before seen digital tool for people with insulin-treated diabetes and the healthcare sector. Our decision support tool generates automated analysis including root-cause interpretations of CGM based on machine learning algorithms. Recent technical advances with CGM make it possible to map all glucose fluctuations. However, there are currently no tools available for analyzing all the data which constitute a major challenge for both the affected individual and the healthcare sector. For the individual, the amount and continuous nature of the data make it nearly impossible to systematically make adequate adjustments of the insulin treatment. For the healthcare sector, the introduction of CGM has resulted in an avalanche of data to interpret which can consist of 50.000 data points for each patient at each visit. Our ambition is to solve this major hurdle and provide the digital tools needed to truly transform diabetes care. Our product is a software as a service and our long-term ambition is to make it available to everyone living with insulin-treated diabetes and their healthcare providers.

Furthermore, the user can join challenges and share their dance videos on their profile and the feed — ie., lots of social features that are similar to TikTok. The application Badjango Dance Creator, is is already succesfull developed and tested in danish educational institutions and has clients as publishing Gyldendal publishing house, Danmarks Sportsdanserforbund, Dansk Skoleidræt.

Through a subscription, customers get bike insurance and bike service at their home or work. By building a platform of mechanics, MIOO enables bike service to come to customers. Fostering gender-equalled financial inclusion and business advice can improve ability and opportunities to become self-sufficient and economically active. In turn, empowering them to lead a fulfilling life integrating into Swedish society. Favafond’s mission is to become a key contributor for that change to take place in Sweden and beyond. Since 2019, we have been testing our business idea/model, issuing initial loans as ”proof of concept”. Data has been collected and analyzed to learn customers profiles, preferences and needs. Also, we have been risk mitigating our lending process and adding complementary business services capacity in compliance with Swedish banking/financial regulation. Our national platform of business advisors (i.e. accountants, coaches, etc.) and minority organizations (i.e. Community associations, startup incubators, etc.) has formalized recently. They are key partners to our business to facilitate access to loans for minority groups and support the improvement of our financial products and quality assurance of our lending process. The financial vehicle to raise the capital needed to issue the loans is a social impact fund – Favafond Invest. This fund will be open to private and institutional investors seeking a financial return on their investment as well as social return with measurable results. FavaFond plans to expand its operation to the rest of the Nordic region once its business idea/model has been thoroughly tested in Sweden and a critical mass of clients established.

International headquarters has developed a 'One Stop Shop' for international working professionals to help them get settled in. We do this by offering a more holistic approach to relocation and global mobility. As an international working professional moving to Denmark, we face numerous obstacles which can only be solved by either speaking the language or understanding the culture. We help with both! We are currently a group 12 entrepreneurs collaborating together to create programs both pre and post relocation. We call ourselves Local Experts Helping Global Citizens. Many of us are expats ourselves. But we ALL work with expats in one way or another.
