What is the product? 24syv is an innovative news platform run by the Danish tech startup Listen to News ApS. The app collects audio content from a range of news media and structures it so the news listener can get a quick and thorough news briefing - on demand - in just 10 minutes. After the news briefing, the news listener is presented with podcast clip from programs with in-depth knowledge about current topics that matter to the news listener. In this way, the news listener can become completely up to date and ready to talk about current affairs with friends, family and colleagues just by listening to listen to news on their way to work.

Educated in photography and worked as professional photographer for more than 20 years. Experience in planning, start-up and daily operations of retail and studio businesses. In 1997 started Stavanger's first artisanal coffee shop, which remains in operation. Espen is now the CEO of Norway in a Box. Espen Strand Henriksen. Concept developer who likes to set things in motion, build networks, collaborate and see the world from multiple perspectives. Educated at BI Norwegian Business School and in the Royal Norwegian Navy. Twenty years’ experience in marketing, advertising, media, sales, management and product and concept development in Oslo and Stavanger, 14 of them working for the world’s first digital cinema company (CAPA), and was also a key person in developing the unique and award winning mobility concept (HjemJobbHjem/HomeWorkHome). Espen is in charge of stakeholders at Norway in a Box.

We were founded in February 2018 with the idea that giving plastic a value, we could get it removed from nature. A bit like the bottle deposit system, but for all kinds of plastic! We have gained amazing traction since we started, from being featured in Forbes and The Independent and invited to a panel at the first OECD forum on Blockchain to winning awards and being the only Nordic initiative among the 25 development projects/ SDG solutions selected to be showcased at Expo 2021 Dubai’s Global Best Practice Programme. We have done cleanups and pilots in more than 15 countries, proving that this really does work! Now we are building a global plastic waste ecosystem to incentivize cleanup and track where the plastic ends - most of it ideally back to reuse! The next step is to bring our vision to more places and create a truly innovative system than can help solve some of the big problems with plastic waste (of which there are more than you might imagine).

The growing VOI Technology team is in the process of making the dreaded morning commute to work exponentially more enjoyable. In due time, we will have a network of electrically-powered scooters throughout densely populated urban centers. We started our studio to honor our mother Hamide, who was a designer but never had the recognition she deserved, and passed away after a long battle with an atypical Parkinson's disease. So, Hamide Design Studio, is a serious matter for us, it is very personal yet we are very professional.  We are ambitious,  hardworking, and persistent. We love design profession for its power to change the world for the better. We have both intense days at work filled with creativity or just boring office work, and also light days as well. We know when to take a break and celebrate. Luckily our studio is located right next to Sønder Boulevard. We have some studio values and rules. Be genuine, hardworking, recycle, clean after, don't waste resources, be a humanitarian, be welcoming, and such. So, we try to be decent people and expect our partners to be such.
