TIDETEC

Tidetecs concept is the most logical way to harness two-way hydropower, such as tidal, in a cost effective manner. Most tidal power plants today generate power only in one direction. Projected tidal plants with two-way production have sub-optimal production. Tidetec technology improves efficiency of the most cost effective tidal turbine technology by obtaining optimal efficiency both ways. This is achieved by integrating the turbine into a rotating turret. The turning mechanism is patented, and has received international recognition.

Furberg Snowboards

Norwegian brand with the pursuit to make the world's best freeride snowboards. The company base in Sogndal, Norway, provides proximity to lift accessed riding and splitboarding all 12 months a year. This makes it possible for us to work actively on product development year-round, whereas most brands only have access to development opportunities during winter and occasional trips to the southern hemisphere. Furberg Snowboards was founded because of the lack of innovation in the snowboard industry, and Sogndal is the ideal place for us to further the development of freeride snowboards.

Livid

Livid Jeans is a small manufacturing company from Norway, created from a simple love & passion for superior quality and true craftsmanship. Dedicated to honor old traditions in making jeans, and inspired by a time when superior quality, supporting local trade and taking care of own garments mattered.Since its establishment in 2010, Livid Jeans remains today the only apparel manufacturing company left in Norway, driven not from an economic point of view, but with a purpose. A purpose driven towards upholding old trade and conventional craft in a country where a once blooming textile industry is gone, and the fine craft with it. While continuously growing we strive to follow core values and to always create as unique and authentic products as we possibly can. And while doing so, sustain our responsibility against the competitive force of poor products being made unsustainably.Livid Jeans’ product portfolio today consists of two different production lines. One collection handmade the old fashioned way locally right here in Trondheim, Norway. And one ready-to-wear collection line made in Barcelos, Portugal. Both lines offering superior quality garments with equal purpose.

Ripple Aerospace is a Norwegian aerospace company developing the oceanic Sea Serpent launch system. Leveraging Norway's long history of seafaring, shipbuilding, and maritime technology, we are developing a rocket class capable of being built, launched and recovered on the sea. GEIST

1. The Elevator Pitch GEIST is developing next-generation sailing apparel for recreational and lifestyle sailors who want protection and freedom on the water—without the bulk, stiffness, or elitist aesthetics of traditional sailing gear. By combining high-performance materials, real-world testing, and community-driven design, GEIST delivers technical sailing wear that enhances the experience instead of getting in the way. 2. The What: What are you solving? Sailing apparel today is largely designed for professional racers or extreme offshore conditions—resulting in garments that are heavy, rigid, over-engineered, and visually disconnected from how most people actually sail. This creates a gap for: - Recreational sailors - Lifestyle / adventure sailors - Coastal and day sailors who want reliable protection from wind, spray, and weather, but also comfort, mobility, and a modern aesthetic they enjoy wearing. As a result, many sailors compromise—either wearing gear that limits movement and comfort, or using outdoor apparel not built for marine conditions. This problem affects a broad and growing segment of sailors globally, especially as sailing increasingly overlaps with outdoor lifestyle, travel, and community-driven experiences. 3. How GEIST is solving it GEIST designs sailing apparel from the experience outward. We start by deeply understanding how our users move, layer, vent heat, and interact with their gear during real sailing scenarios—not idealized ones. From there, we: - Develop function-led designs focused on mobility, breathability, and smart protection - Use premium 3-layer performance fabrics and components chosen for durability, comfort, and sustainability - Prototype early and test continuously with sailors in real conditions - Co-create features, fit, and details with our community rather than designing in isolation Our first products—a sailing jacket and trousers—are built to be worn actively on the water and comfortably before and after, bridging performance and lifestyle without compromise. 4. Why GEIST exists GEIST started from lived frustration. As a sailor and outdoor enthusiast, I repeatedly experienced how traditional sailing gear interrupted the very thing it was supposed to support—the feeling of being present, capable, and free on the water. Gear was either too stiff, too bulky, too aggressive, or simply not designed for how most people sail today. I realized this wasn’t a niche problem—it was systemic. And it wasn’t being solved because the industry hadn’t truly shifted its perspective. GEIST exists to reimagine sailing apparel from the standpoint of experience, movement, and modern sailing culture. It’s about stripping away unnecessary complexity and designing gear that supports focus, confidence, and enjoyment—so when the wind hits, the world narrows, and the gear disappears.

ABEL Technologies

The Problem Most workplaces struggle with high sick leave — and the root causes are rarely acute injuries or illness. They are lifestyle-driven issues: • fatigue and low energy • stress and mental strain • poor sleep • musculoskeletal pain • unhealthy habits • lack of support These problems build up over time, and employees try to handle them alone. But people don’t change their health on their own — and employers don’t have the tools or competency to help them. The result? High sick leave costs, reduced productivity, and employees who are stuck in patterns they can’t break. Why it matters Sick leave is one of the biggest hidden costs in business. A single employee on sick leave costs on average 65 200 kr per year — and 20% of employees account for 80% of the total. Most of these cases are preventable with the right support. At the same time, people want help: 85% prefer guidance from a qualified professional rather than trying to solve health challenges alone. ABEL’s Role ABEL solves this gap. We connect employees with qualified health coaches who follow them closely over time — mentally, physically, and socially. Through structured guidance and our digital platform, we help people make sustainable lifestyle changes that reduce sick leave and increase wellbeing. The impact: Employees get better health. Companies save money. Society reduces the burden of preventable illness.

Frank Founders

Frank Founders is built for one thing: creating pipeline and growth for B2B SaaS companies through digital marketing. We work with ambitious SaaS teams and take ownership of the strategy and execution needed to drive real revenue. We’re part of the Frank Agency Collective - a group of small, specialized agencies that each operate in a narrow segment and focus on measurable outcomes in their domain. The goal is simple: be the obvious choice for a very specific type of client, and irrelevant to everyone else. Frank Founders is a micro-agency with 100% focus on B2B SaaS. That means you work close to the business: you lead strategy, drive execution, and stay close to the numbers. We expect people to take charge, make decisions, and treat client challenges as their own - and in return, we offer a high degree of freedom, trust, and ownership. Our culture is shaped by three principles: 01 Same side of the table - We work with clients as one team, with shared goals and clear accountability. 02 One size fits nobody - We use proven methods, but always tailor them to the company’s stage, priorities, and commercial reality. 03 Process drives progress - We rely on clear structures, frameworks, and testing to turn complexity into momentum and measurable growth. Day to day, that means a lot of sparring, open feedback (“frankly speaking” is part of how we work), and a strong focus on craft. We share knowledge, clients, and responsibilities across the team and are based in Talent Garden on Holmen in Copenhagen, surrounded by other startups and scaleups.
