Emberly is a Stavanger-based startup founded in 2020. The company was born out of a desire to help people learn better and to help them manage information overload. Our product is a knowledge library, but in contrast to other solutions, we help you organize your knowledge into what we call "knowledge maps". Traditional solutions based on tags and search are not adequate due to the simple fact that it requires using the language center of the brain, this requires you to break your chain of thought before you can even start looking for your resources. Emberly in contrast, lets you use spatial navigation to find what you are looking for. Which is far more efficient.Not to mention the fact that by creating and using this breakdown of topics, you automatically gain a far better understanding of the concepts you are working on. We have been working tightly knit with our community for two years to help us make Emberly the best experience it can be, and we officially released the system in 2022.

Oxy Solutions'​ core business and strategy is to develop, document, IP protect, and commercialize the technology primarily within wound healing. The company has an in-house R&D facility in Norway. The company has funding from the Norwegian Research Council. Oxy Solutions is in possession of patented technology that makes it possible to greatly increase the dissolved level of oxygen in water. Tests have indicated stable levels in excess of 70 mg/l, or approximately 10 times higher than previously thought possible.

ICT is a Norwegian technology development company that holds patents designed to bring new opportunities to the cryogenic liquids storage and transportation sectors via unique containers. The design targets the market for both large- and small-scale cryogenic applications. ICT’s solution is modular and suited for onshore as well as maritime use. The development of hydrogen infrastructure is slow and holding back widespread adoption. Transportation of large volumes is one of the major challenges that IC Technologies is determined to solve. Another challenge is the storage of liquid hydrogen. Current storage solutions resemble enlarged thermos flasks, and the hydrogen inside gradually evaporates over time. Our vision is a decarbonized world with green hydrogen as a major energy carrier.

Aqua Alarm is developing a Biological Water Alarm System (BiWAS). There are three things that make BiWAS stand out from all other comparable products: 1) It provides real-time monitoring 2) It monitors a broad spectrum of toxicants, carcinogens and pathogens 3) It does this in a very cost-effective way We have among other things been through the av Horizon 2020 phase 1 project and are presently performing two projects to prove the technology in real environments. It has come to a point where the sales keep increasing, and I have too much to organize all by myself. I have a bachelor's degree in fashion design and modelling. For upcoming future plans, I have a sew- and design book Coming up; in collaboration With the Norwegian book-publishing firm Aschehoug, we Are making a book about my concept, sewing patterns, inspiration and fashion. This book will be ready in September. I also have a collaboration involving a catwalk show With my Handmade pieces in Oslo this summer, and a design job, sewing pieces for a Norwegian artist for a summer tour and tv show. At Akusis we deliver relevant content to the more than 1 million people suffering from hypertension. At the same time, we facilitate an easy to use blood pressure measurement proces, that enables general practitioners to receive patient reported data with a significant higher data integrity than the excisting solutions. An ease of mind solution for both patients and doctors, that saves and improves lives, and lowers the expenses in the Danish healthcare system. Hypertension is serious, and when not treated it could be fatal. However, the impact can be reduced, if treated properly and at an early stage. We have talked to a number of both patients and doctors, and from this we learned: * Doctors require more than 500.000 measurements a year. Measurements are performed by the patients in their own home, and self-reported into an existing digital solution. * Measuring and entering data in the system can be difficult, and leads to mistakes in about 36% of the total measurements performed. This gives doctors a poor chance of diagnosing correctly. * There is a need of a more simple and intuitive system, that can reduce the number of bad measurements. * Furthermore, the patients report, that they need information on exactly what hypertension is, and what they can do themselves to lower their blood pressure levels (besides taking their medicine). * Patients feel left alone with a lot of questions, and no one to answer them. Instead they go online, and find the answers in various places, and too often answers that ends up worsening their condition. Our solution is based on our own website, and our mobile application. On both platforms we deliver the content that we know the patients need. Today it is scattered all over, and of mixed quality. We bring it all to a single place. On top of that, we add tailored treatment courses, and hand on tools to be implemented in an every day life, giving the patients a chance to act and improve. Our content is delivered by experts in the areas of sleep, exercise and nutrition, as we know that is what the patients ask for. For those that want more than just information, we deliver access to an easy to use measurement proces, by using the equipment already at hand. Historical readings can be seen on the application, notes can be taken, and it is even possible to send the data to the doctor. The combination of the above signigicantly reduces the impact of hypertension in Denmark, and represents an approach to this specific disease, that doesn´t exist today. The idea for this specific project comes from a member of the founder team, Kurt Rasmussen, and is further developed by the other team members, who are both health tech engineers. Kurt is a general practioner with more than 25 years of experience, and has for (too) long experienced issues related to poor quality of blood pressure measurements, and patients that want to do more, but don´t know how to. We strongly, both as general practitioner and health tech engineers want to improve the every day life of patients, and enabling them to life longer, fuller and richer lives, free from worries and not needed complications. By developing Akusis BPM System, we are able to do so, and at the same time reduce the costs of treating hypertensive patients in DK. We claim, that when fully implemented, we are able to reduce the costs in the amount of billions - even conservatively put around 2-3 of them every year.

Our main product is single-serve coffeebags, that insures a much longer lifespan on the coffee, due to our speciel nitrogen packaging. Coffeebags gives you the same taste and quality you would find when brewing frenchpress or filtercoffee. The difference lies in the convenience and expiry date of the coffee. Coffebags makes it much easier to brew a quality cup of coffee, and when you only brew one cup at a time, you don't need to open an entire 'ordinary' coffeebag, which loses it's taste after a few weeks. We started Newday Coffee to provide a product we ourself needed and wanted. Our need was that we always wanted to ensure that we had a fantastic cup of coffee close.

We strive to make exposed professions safer by making work wear smarter and connected. To us it’s a no brainer – every workplace should provide a safe, healthy and productive work environment. When you’re at work you may find yourself in vulnerable situations like working alone, in the dark, or during tough weather conditions you should never have to worry about “what if”. Unfortunately there are many exposed professions like truck drivers, construction workers, road side assistance provoders and so on where accidents (sometimes fatal) happen. We believe some of these could be avoided with the use of smart technology. We believe that by combining the ease of use (integrating the technology in the safety wearable you have to have anyway) there is nothing additional that the person need. With integrated AI for fall detection as well as entry/exit of work vehicle detection, together with the connectivity and location mapping we can help making these professions safer. If something were to happen, alarms can be sent so that the person can get help. We are a start-up that took over the development from a major Swedish automotive manufacturer in 2020. In 2022 we launched the first product called the Alert Vest. More products and digital solutions are in the making and will be introduced in the coming months.
