We design mobility aids for a person, not a patient. Mobility is one of the core values in modern life. It’s also a top challenge facing older adults; and adults with disabilities that have impacted their mobility and lifestyle. The current market for assistive walking devices has failed to adequately support this community, with ageist messages and outdated models that denote feelings of dependence and fragility – an inaccurate representation of today’s thriving older adult community. Since 2017, our mindful designs have won some of the world’s most prestigious awards in design and innovation, including the 2019 RedDot Design Award, the 2017 IF Design Award and the Danish Design Award, the title “Most Innovative Startup” by FedEx Europe in 2022 and German Design Award 2024. “by ACRE” is our quality seal. LastObject is dedicated to creating sustainable alternatives to single-use items. We've created LastSwab (alternative to cotton swabs), LastTissue (alternative to kleenex), LastRound (alternative to cotton rounds), and LastPad (alternative to menstrual pads). We always aim to make products that are 10x more sustainable than the single-use products they replace. LastObject’s mission is to reduce and eliminate single-use products. Our main focus is to identify single-use items that needlessly damage our environment. Our aim is to reduce waste. When we started, our idea was to do produce something good for the environment and being three designers it made sense to use those skills and design something that works as replacements for something that is damaging the environment.

Volant was founded in Norway by Tobias Nervik and Daniel Hoftun. They shared a flat in Oslo and wanted to buy an aroma diffuser to start using essential oils after Tobias heard about it on the Tim Ferriss show. Daniel had just refurbished the apartment and wanted a nice-looking diffuser that fit well with the interior decor. They were unable to find one. That is why they created volant: to offer a minimalistic essential oil diffuser that goes with any interior. The volant diffuser was an instant hit in Norway and launched in 15 countries within the first year. The volant diffuser is Scandinavian in design and craftsmanship and is the flagship product of volant. It infuses our customers' spaces with fresh aromas and helps them feel relaxed, energetic or focused depending on their needs.

UPGRD.io is an automated photo enrichment engine. It turns regular photos into unique artworks, allowing businesses to offer more, sell more and achieve higher customer satisfaction. UPGRD can be used as a standalone store front or integrated to any website via API. UPGRD can bee used for example as a fan engagement tool for sport leagues, to raise money for charity organisations or to increase school photography businesses shopping cart size.

Martin Key, founded in 2016, is a Swedish brand offering high-end customized leather garments, with jackets as the main focus. The jackets are handmade in our own factory in the northern part of Sweden, Dalarna. We produce all our garments based on customer orders and thus remaining sustainable by avoiding over production and minimizing left-over fabrics. Even though we are positioned at a relatively high price range (our jackets start from 20k SEK and our shoes from 5k SEK), we see our conscious customers demanding even more luxurious features; our most expensive jacket was sold for 95k SEK. As we already have a clear creative vision, we are now looking for a strategic business developer who can lead us in the right direction and grow the business.

Catering portal in Denmark that offers deals from local catering businesses. The ambition is to make it easy for customers to find and get overview on the deals that fit their needs. We launched the site in August 2019 and now have more than 20 catering businesses attached. The number is steadily growing and are are thrilled to make it easier for Danes to get good food from local businesses.

STRØM Bikes is an innovative eBike company based in Copenhagen on a mission to make urban commuting more sustainable and convenient. We believe the eBike is an essential part of the transition to a green urban transportation system. Our concept is Danish design and high quality at affordable prices. We design, produce and sell our own unique eBikes. By focusing on direct online trade, and eliminating all expensive intermediaries, we get the opportunity to provide high quality eBikes at affordable prices. In this regard we have launched all of our bikes with succes through crowdfunding.
