Thrift It Up

At our vintage shop, we are solving the problem of diminishing uniqueness and personal style in today's fast fashion culture. Our goal is to provide individuals with a curated collection of high-quality vintage clothing and accessories, offering an alternative to mass-produced, generic fashion items. Furthermore, our vintage shop promotes sustainability and reduces the environmental impact of the fashion industry. By giving pre-loved garments a second life, we extend their lifecycle and reduce the need for new production. This contributes to a more circular economy, minimizes waste, and helps combat the negative effects of overconsumption.

Agoprene AS

Agoprene is a biotech startup based in Oslo and Copenhagen. Agoprene is developing furniture foam from biomass to help the furniture industry reduce their need for petrochemicals. ​ Globally, furniture foam, which is derived from petroleum, accounts for 105 million tonnes of CO2 emissions annually. One armchair for example, emits an average of 43 kg CO2e, almost half of which is due to furniture foam. ​ Agoprene's foam is completely free of petrochemicals. We believe finding planet-friendly alternatives isn’t a challenge; it’s an opportunity.

Eseba

Eseba, a part of NIRAS Green Tech Hub strives to become the leading material science company in the furniture and interior industry's value chain with our innovative and sustainable biobased-technology to upcycle textile waste out of natural fibers. Our production method is based on securing minimal consequences to the external environment. Our vision is to become the clothing brands’ & interior companies leading partner in the implementation of circular business models with a platform of different upcycling technologies of textile waste in the long term. Eseba is based on a sustainable circular business model in which we aim to contribute to practical solutions to reach the targets of UN Goals, particularly SDG Goal 12: Responsible consumption and production. Despite the fact that the fashion industry is estimated to be contributing to 10% of the global carbon emission to produce clothing, a large share of clothing ends up as waste and is burned, eventually causing further harm to the environment. To put this into perspective, each year in Denmark, 677 tons of unused clothes are burned. Our Solution Eseba´s innovative and sustainable biobased-technology is relevant, because we can create upcycled textile products out of dead stocks (natural fiber) from clothing companies. Those upcycled textile products are customer-based and range from chair seats to lampshades. Lixo, which is the name of Eseba´s end-product is a hard and malleable material that contains 95-100% natural textile waste.

Nordic Data Resources AS

Nordic Data Resources is a leading online data provider, well established in all the Nordic markets after a successful market launch in Q4 2015. We have run more than 1000 campaigns with 100 media agencies in our first 18 months, which generated revenue of € 0,5 million in 2016. We have a monthly run rate of more than € 100 k, which will increase significantly moving forward, particularly when we have globally launched our data. 1) PRODUCT We have developed a scalable, full-reach consumer classification online audience data suite, available for any programmatic platform and digital channel. We specialize in geo-targeting and consumer classification data to reach the entire population. Our data provide a unique way of targeting audiences in a safe and reliable way, available for both buy-side and sell-side, as well as data exchanges and DMPs. Our revenue is driven by ad impressions using our data to target more effectively. We offer CPM based pricing model in the programmatic platforms, as well as a monthly fixed DMP agreement (recurring revenue model) 3) STRONG MARKET GROWTH / CUSTOMERS The data market is driven by the strong growth in the programmatic buying of ads on the internet, mobile, and soon TV. It’s the best-performing sector in the ad industry (40% growth in 2016). It is predicted that programmatic buying and selling will soon and completely take over the ad market. We have built a global distribution from day one with the leading data exchanges and programmatic trading platforms, so we have a very scalable business and revenue model. We have successfully launched our data in the Nordic markets and are now launched in Germany. Nordic Data Resources has an international "Go to Market" strategy where we plan to globally launch our data in the next 3-9 months.
