Quandify develops an intelligent water meter system for residential property owners that enables sub-metering cost-efficiently. The company’s platform uses machine learning to break down water usage data into outlets and diagnoses an entire homes water and hot water energy usage from a single, patented, non-invasive sensor. In our smartphone app, tenants then receive individually tailored nudges on how to efficiently lower usage, without sacrificing comfortability. The result is an up to 40 % decrease in water usage on average, and as a result, an energy usage reduction of 8 - 16 %, paving the way for a more sustainable and aware public and private residential real estate industry. FASK founder Aarseth has worked as seaman in many years, the last years offshore and within anchorhandling. He came from goods/bulk trade and older secondhand vessel types to a offshore environment with new and modern vessels with top equipment of all categories onboard. It was therefore nearly  a shock-experience for him, when he at his first rig-move and this up to date working environment,  observed working methods associated with the stone-age while performing the opening of kenterlinks. Aarseth thought to himself that this operation seemed dangerous and cumbersome. He thought of his own sons working in this industry, and felt that this needed a better solution. That thought was the beginning of the kenter link opener, and Fask Tools. Aarseth came in contact with Statoil and Havila, who were immediately interested, but that required testing of this then unknown tool in  safe environment before testing/operation offshore. Testing was performed onshore by Kongsberg Devotek and later offshore and in operation onboard the Havila Mars.
