Skosh is developing and producing waste-free home care products. We focus on the next generation of products to eliminate plastic-waste and toxic ingredients from the pollution home & laundry industry. We are a young startup based in Malmö Sweden, founded by three graduates from Lund University who wanted to do a little better for the environment with their entrepreneurial spirits. Ambitious Africa is an initiative bringing African and Nordic youth together to take Africa to the next level. Working together providing high-quality education for future African educators and top-level business development support for local entrepreneurs. Ambitious Africa is an initiative, primarily consisting of Nordic student-lead entrepreneurial societies. The initiative is growing rapidly and now the organization needs ambitious Nordic students to work in the national operations in collaboration with local African counterparts. The national teams are cross-continental, primarily consisting of two people from the Nordics and two people from the African nation in question. The primary responsibility of the National Teams is to build an infrastructure to enable young doers to do novel entrepreneurial initiatives in the country in question. National Teams have free hands to build up the operations as they see fit based on the challenges and opportunities of the nation. We are currently looking for people for all 54 African nations starting with Rwanda, Tunisia, Mozambique, Uganda, Gambia, and Ghana. Sideflow is circular economy service, who is developing a service to help textile companies eliminate waste. We do it by building a platform that connects industrial sidestreams to potential utilizers. From all the material used in textile manufacturing in Finland, up to 30% ends up directly into waste, most commonly as cutting waste. Global research suggests that the amount can be even higher, up to 45% when also deadstock is included. We are creating a service and a platform that recognizes the material waste in an early phase and connects it to potential utilizers - companies that can use the rescued material in their products as it is, or after it is processed to new materials. Through our work in textile productions, we recognized the issue, and ran experiments and pilots to find solutions. In the pilots we have been able to eliminate waste by channeling the waste to new products. There lies undiscovered value in industrial sidestream, both for the economy and the ecosystem, and our mission is to recover that.
