Ivy

About Our Startup - We’re Ivy, an AI-native platform that empowers .NET teams to rapidly build internal tools and business apps. The Problem - Today, companies spend too much time and money on repetitive, manual development of back-office apps, resulting in long lead times and frustrated teams. Existing tools often require either too much custom coding or are too restrictive to scale properly. - Our Solution Ivy leverages AI to automatically generate maintainable, production-ready .NET code. Reducing the time from idea to deployment by up to 80%. Our platform integrates seamlessly into existing enterprise workflows, allowing teams to focus on what truly matters: driving innovation and delivering value. - Why It Matters By making AI-powered .NET development faster and more accessible, we help companies improve productivity, cut costs, and gain a competitive edge. Ivy enables organizations to embrace the AI revolution and future-proof their internal app strategy without compromising on control or quality.

Rizer Biotech AB

Rizer Biotech is a spin-off from groundbreaking research at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, aiming to revolutionise biomolecular studies in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Our team, currently including Dr. Andrea Volpato, Dr. Andreas Bodén and Prof. Ilaria Testa, focuses on developing an instrument and measurement technique that enhances the understanding of biomolecular dynamics. The team's expertise currently covers instrument and software development and research collaborations. Our innovation lies in directly studying large biomolecule dynamics, an area current technologies cannot effectively cover. The tool utilizes smart fluorescent probes together with polarized illumination and detection and enables a new dimension of molecular analysis that we believe can find applications in several important drug development areas. The core technology is the result of many years of research within the academic setting, but the commercial aspirations are still young. The company was started in 2023 and is just taking shape as a separate entity. Most of the operations are today located in Scilifelab, a national research institute leading life-science research in Sweden. Our vision is to empower drug developers, researchers, and clinicians with a tool that accelerates drug discovery and can foster a future of faster, more accurate, and more efficient therapeutic development.

We believe that engagement and inclusion are the core principles necessary to create a strong culture. In this new hybrid environment, we affirm that strong leadership where trust, collaboration, and inclusion are valued, success follows. Through our network of clients, we are encouraged to continuously challenge ourselves to innovate, support, and develop our event technology for successful leaders. We are inspired as they turn what we call “event tech” into something further: a platform for communities, meetings, professional development, travel, recruitment, information, and creativity. The contributions of our own Ventla community, encourage us to build a more sustainable, engaged world where people feel they belong.

AquaFood

AquaFood has a patent-pending method for extracting high-value, food-grade components at cold temperatures from the side streams of fish production (e.g. heads, backbone, scales, etc.). The components we extract are; pure fish oil that fits as a supplement, a unique protein mass with high functionality (almost minced meat consistency) that fits perfectly for fish balls, fish burgers, or even tubed fish spread, and lastly, we extract a fine collagen powder that fits for dermatological applications. Today, the side streams of fish production account for 40-70% of the fish that is brought into the processing plants. This is a remarkably higher amount than any other food-producing industry. At the same time, the food production system worldwide accounts for 1/3 of green-house gas emissions, 1/3 of land usage, and 2/3 of groundwater withdrawal. The seafood industry has problems of their own, where 95% of our fish stocks are fully utilized and about 30% have already collapsed. There simply is not way for us to increase or even continue to produce the way that we are in a sustainable way. But we still need to increase food production as the globally increasing population will demand a doubling of protein production in the year 2050 compared to now. AquaFood believes that resource efficiency is a huge stepping stone toward reaching a sustainable food production system. A system where we use our resources efficiently and to their full potential is what needs to happen to step into a sustainable future. In our process, we can make sure that the FULL fish is used to its full potential. Through our process, we use no heating steps and the only effluents from our process are the water that we introduce to the system mixed with a small amount of protein. Therefore, our process is highly efficient, sustainable in terms of lower energy and water consumption but also in terms of the resource efficiency that it brings. Our technology is research-based and stems from decades of research in the area of utilization of aquatic biomasses.
