Gimi is a Swedish startup that was founded in 2015 (then called Veckopengen) by Philip Haglund. Gimi's aim is to provide children and young people with financial education in a fun and interactive way. Gimi provides an education app where children can handle their pocket money and where parents can give the weekly or monthly allowance digitally. Together with the Gimi card (a prepaid Mastercard) Gimi gives children both theoretical education and practical exercises in personal finance.
