Visbok

It all started when I started my own limited company for the first time, I had a great interest in accounting but no knowledge. I started with an accounting course and tested most accounting services on the market and felt that it should be possible to make it both easier and smoother for self-employed people which was the start of Visbok. It has been a very fun and educational journey for me, with 18 hours working days for over 2 years. I did everything myself from requirement, architecture, development, testing, deployment, SEO to marketing in the beginning and started a team of accountants, developers and entrepreneurs with the vision to make accounting easy and efficient for small business owners. Today, the system is managed by the team and I help with the architecture, project management as well as sales. The program is widely used today and has customers from small startups to senior accountants. We are receiving amazing feedback from all of them.

Care Communicator Europe AB

We are creating a new and unique initiative within digital health with our vision “Make your own choices for your own health”. A digital health communications platform, Care Communicator, for international use that links the patient with the caregiver that simplifies the process to get quick and adequate health care outside the patient’s normal geographic border. Access through a smartphone, tablet or laptop. Useful both to the patient and caregiver. The Care Communicator (CC) project is a Freemium project. Problems to solve: A quick description of problems that the Care Communicator can alleviate/solve: There is no care intermediary linking different clinics, nationally or internationally. Both patients and caregivers are in obscurity regarding the possibility for care within the EU and even more obscure on a wider international scale Care varies depending on where you live. Using care quality as a choice for care is rare. Certain countries offer care guarantee (within X months) – this is often not transparent for patients. It is complicated to get the knowledge of which clinics are good with a specific treatment. It is complicated to get the knowledge of where the care queue is short. It is often difficult for patients to find the care they strive for. Solution: Our digital platform will help patients to find care at trusted alternative clinics in a simple way. Learn how to find caregivers/institutions with desired care quality outcomes. Learn how to reduce your care queue. Learn how to find care in a streamlined process. Learn how to find care within your own region or nation or internationally. Learn more about research and news of their areas of interest The process unburdens the caregivers by making it easier to find adequate specialist care to send a referral towards. Saves time for the caregiver. Possibility to give or receive a medical 2nd opinion. Caregivers can sell care. Our customers are: Care givers and service providers to users like banks, insurance companies, legal providers, vaccination clinics, translations service providers, gyms and other wellbeing institutions etc Revenue streams: Apart from the commissions from the health care provided, we will have a major part of the revenue streams with a large number of users from services provided through CC platform like: Banking – for mainly transactions (and possible financing) Insurance – for mainly health and travel insurances Vaccinations Travels – guides, insurances, travel arrangements – flights, car hire, hotels (this could in the future be connected to a premium subscription) Translation services Legal – wills, disputes etc Physical wellbeing institutions like gyms (this could in the future be connected to a premium subscription) Therapists Recurring preventive screening, for instance health check-ups, CT, genetic testing Courses Dental care (if not covered by insurance) Queues to premium care homes Rehabilitation Detox facilities Etc Sales and market strategy: We aim to initially market the Care Communicator through major organizations as an added value to their HR-offerings to their employees. That way we can have a head start and also get quick trust. Some parts of the offer to the employees for these major organizations can be easily be personalized and thus connect even more to their own organization. Optimal Connections

We at OptimalConn are passionate about establishing optimal connections between service providers and consumers. We are building and operating a software-as-a-service solution for local service providers: dog walkers, nannies, and similar services. We are three co-founders, coming from different branches.

Satcube

We are a start-up based in Gothenburg. At the core of our company is our lightweight satellite terminal, capable of providing high speed internet at any location on earth. This is done by sending radiowaves 36000km into space, aimed at a satellite that is only a couple of meters wide, before retransmitting the signal back down. Our advanced terminal then interprets this signal - an internet connection has been established! In our next development phase, we aim to offer web services where clients easily can manage, control and update the Satcube terminal online.

The Pattern Agency

The Pitch The Pattern Agency is developing a digital B2B marketplace to help the design industry (fashion/interiors/textiles/consumer goods) solve easy access to premium Scandinavian print design through a custom-built marketplace hosting a series of innovative digital services. The What The design industry is digitally immature and has worked according to the same system for many years. However the market is rapidly changing and consumers are becoming more aware which means the old system is becoming obsolete. New digital and readily available services are required and that’s where The Pattern Agency comes in. Buying print design has been analogue for years where many purchases are done at physical trade fairs. But as fairs only occur a few times a year and the customer demand is quickening, the need for readily available print design is increasing. The majority of design companies outsource print design but find it difficult and time-consuming to locate new design talent. Or they ask their over-seas supplier to deliver a print and loose control over copyright and infringement which could be devastating to the brand and the business. We are looking to replace an analogue system with a digital one and in the process changing how the industry operates by inventing services that they didn’t know they needed. The How By developing a user-friendly platform that caters to the mind, eye and business sense of the creative buyer, our aim is to build a full-service platform that incorporates every aspect of the needs of the design industry and thus becomes the only tool required for buying prints, design, inspiration and guidance online. A one-stop-shop and platform. The Why As both founders are design industry professionals, we’ve been frustrated by the lack of out-of-the-box thinking in the industry for years. Founding partner Oskar is a graphic designer and has been commissioned print work for fashion and interior companies historically. He found these processes extremely time-consuming and his commission hollowed at the end of a project and thought there must be a better way of doing this. Founding partner Ellen has been working with freelance designers and know of the frustration and will to get their work out on the market and the struggle to gain audience with companies in the industry. So the design industry is struggling to fin designers and designers are struggling to get in touch with the design industry. This is the problem that we want to solve and in the process disrupt an industry. The Scandinavian design expression is renowned and highly sought after internationally and our aim is to put Scandinavian print design back into the position it had in the 1950s. And to do so using modern technology and invention. We’ve built a rocket and all we need now is rocket fuel in terms of funding but also a business partner with experience of disrupting markets that can push us and the company to success.

Mister Wise

Mister Wise has developed a digital customer loyalty system to help smaller restaurants and cafés retain their loyal customers. A problem many restaurants and café owners are facing today, and have been facing for a long time, is the harsh competitiveness in the market. To stand out in the market place each restaurant offer their own unique concept which they fully control on their own. This will always be the most central part of the equation. However, to keep their customers coming back to their unique concept, a good, easy and systematic loyalty system is of essence. The science is clear on the fact that that retaining already existing customers is cheaper and more profitable than acquiring new customers. That’s why most corporations around the world have their own loyalty systems in place. Why shouldn’t the local restaurant and café? By not utilizing a loyalty system, the restaurant is making themselves a disservice. The customer is lacking an element of the overall experience and the business owner is leaving extra cash on the table. This is a widespread problem which affects all parties involved. The situation is however quite understandable as developing your own digital loyalty system is very time consuming, not to mention expensive. That’s where Mister Wise comes into the picture, offering a tool normally only used by the big sharks in the market to the smaller fish. Mister Wise does not believe in the old-fashioned paper stamp where the customer collects 10 stamps and then gets a free coffee. What if you don’t like coffee and you only drink smoothies? Every customer who walks into the particular food place is a customer who may or may not come back again. To maximize the chances for that customer to come back they should have the opportunity to “collect stamps’’ on whatever they order. That’s why Mister Wise offers a point-based system instead, in which the customer orders and buys whatever he or she want on the menu and then collect points on that particular purchase. This way, all customers can utilize the offer. After X amount of points have been collected, the customer receives a voucher he or she can use at that restaurant. Not only does the customer receive a financial benefit for their loyalty but they also receive a non-financial benefit. For each voucher that is received a heartwarming message from the restaurant owner is sent to the customer, to fully maximize the potency of the loyalty system. As one of the founders had worked part time at a grocery store for quite some time, he knew the value of a good loyalty system and thought it was very strange that it’s only used by the big sharks in the market. After doing market research it was concluded that there was a desire among the local food places for a product such as the one Mister Wise is offering

Fundrella AB

Fundrella is a Swedish fund tech company that offers a global platform for monthly fund reports to make life easier for Professional Investors and Fund Management Companies. The platform was established in collaboration with the Nordic fund selection community. Historically, fund management companies have been sending monthly fund reports manually by email to their clients, i.e. professional investors such as banks, insurance companies, advisors, pension companies etc. This has resulted in a resource-heavy and inefficient process for fund managers. The recipients of these reports, on the other hand, have been bombarded with information, from different fund companies, in different formats, on different dates, making their monthly fund monitoring time consuming and difficult. Fundrella solves this problem by facilitating all fund reports on one platform. Professional investors can subscribe to the funds that they want to monitor on a monthly basis. Fundrella also offers a detailed qualitative search engine which can be used to find and filter funds based on specific qualitative criteria, such as ESG.
