Although society aims at replacing fossil resources with sustainable, renewable alternatives, the production of many materials like plastics and rubbers are still very dependent on fossil fuels. To replace petrol-based rubbers in consumer products, we developed a process to transform birch bark, an abundant residue of the global forestry industry, into the novel biomaterial, Reselo Rubber. Based on a comprehensive material characterisation and encouraging feedback from customers we believe that Reselo Rubber has great potential to replace fossil-derived rubbers in applications like footwear, protective gear, playground flooring and toys.

Archr’s vision is to make sustainability into a default by helping consumers globally make sustainable purchase decisions. There is no way to compare products on sustainability as companies use different ways of communicating sustainability impact, and as consumers we don't have the capacity to research what products are actually sustainable. Thus, we created a unique scoring method that makes it possible to compare products on sustainability on a scale from 1-10, via our SaaS-solution and platform. In short, we are the Google Translate for Sustainability. Through our subscription-based SaaS-solution, companies can showcase our scores directly on their websites. This solution helps companies communicate sustainability impact on product-level in an easy way, enhance brand reputation, and avoid greenwashing.

SCiBreak is a Swedish company founded in 2014 to commercialize new technology for interrupting electric current. Our technology allows for interruption of high AC or DC currents with high returning voltage within a few milliseconds. Conventional AC breakers need several tens of milliseconds to break and existing DC breakers for high voltage are generally very costly. The parts cost of breakers based on the concept is considerably lower than that of competing solutions. Our roots are in many ways at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm where many of us have worked and studied.
