Disputas is a small tech startup based in Oslo. We come from language technology, robotics, and philosophy. On a grant from the Norwegian research council (NFR), we are currently in the process of developing a digital platform for textual analysis in the educational sector. This summer we started developing the core functionality of the platform, and the first module is aimed at argument analysis. Our plan for 2021 is to expand the platform with modules for syntactic analysis of words and sentences, semantic concept analysis, and a module for law studies and juridical case processing. The premise of the project is to design the platform and the various modules in such a way that use generates data of a kind that is applicable for training novel machine learning services in the field of natural language processing (NLP).

You will find 128 million contact lens users worldwide in a 7.5 billion dollar industry and most of them have trouble inserting and/ or removing contact lenses. The result can be as mild as red and irritating eyes and the need to use glasses for a couple of days, but also worst case scenario having to surgically remove the eye. We have designed and created a patented product for inserting and removing contact lenses with a container for keeping the product clean and sterile so you can take it with you.

At Minuendo we are passionate about sound and the sense of hearing. We are equally concerned about the state of hearing for both consumers as well as professionals, ranging from musicians to workers in the construction industry. Minuendo was founded in 2018 by a team with extensive experience in acoustics, hearing protection, and product development. Our mission is to deliver category-defining hearing protection products that users will truly enjoy wearing and that will provide real protection.  Shortly after starting the company, we raised a total of EUR 2.5 million from investors such as Construct Venture and EU grants to accelerate our development. Minuendo is a fast-growing start-up based in Oslo. LANARS ble grunnlagt i 2016. Vi utvikler applikasjoner, nettsider og ferdige løsninger for IoT for våre kunder (for eksempel smarte ringeklokker og systemer for kvalitetskontroll av planter). Med lang erfaring innen regnskap og revisjon har jeg gått sammen med en annen autorisert regnskapsfører og startet nytt firma. Fra den nedlagte gruvebyen Jakobsbakken i Sulitjelma - 10 mil fra Bodø gjenskaper vi bygninger fra et nedlagt gruvesamfunn fra slutten av 1800-tallet. Vi ønsker å tilby lyden av stillhet, fred og ro til mennesker som ikke har dette til daglig. Vi ønsker velkommen til en annerledes tur i den arktiske fjellheimen. Natursnø fra november til mai og vi tilbyr skiløyper i verdensklasse rett utenfor de flotte leilighetene som kan leies på Jakobsbakken. Vi er stolte av å være vertskap for det norske herrelandslaget på ski. De besøkte oss i mai 2018. Vi skal tilby opplevelser for mennesker som ønsker seg ekte arktisk natur samt bo i leiligheter med høy standard.
