Emberly is a Stavanger-based startup founded in 2020. The company was born out of a desire to help people learn better and to help them manage information overload. Our product is a knowledge library, but in contrast to other solutions, we help you organize your knowledge into what we call "knowledge maps". Traditional solutions based on tags and search are not adequate due to the simple fact that it requires using the language center of the brain, this requires you to break your chain of thought before you can even start looking for your resources. Emberly in contrast, lets you use spatial navigation to find what you are looking for. Which is far more efficient.Not to mention the fact that by creating and using this breakdown of topics, you automatically gain a far better understanding of the concepts you are working on. We have been working tightly knit with our community for two years to help us make Emberly the best experience it can be, and we officially released the system in 2022.

MyRent is a cloud-based system for managing tenants and rent payment. Our customers are businesses renting out apartments in Norway. MyRent has been running since 2012, and with help from a customized CRM system, we started getting customers early on. Today handle about 28 Million NOK in monthly payments for our customers. Our goal is to get this platform out in Scandinavia, after building the bases in Norway.

Biozep is discovering and developing first-in-class drug products for the treatment of severe eye diseases which can lead to vision loss and where it is a high unmet medical need. Biozep has discovered novel drug substances based on bioactive lipids which modulate central pathways involved in the pathogenesis of eye diseases. Targets and biomarkers are identified based on a system biology approach combined with in-depth knowledge about bioactive lipids, their endogenous synthesis and mechanisms of action. Biozep has made a prototype drug product based on our lead compound for topical administration and the product will be tested in animal models in 2018. Our goal is to start clinical studies in 2020. Biozep is a company depending on both internal and external resources. Biozep has established its own laboratory in Oslo in order to do synthesis, purification, quality control and chemical development in-house. The biological testing of the drug substances is performed in collaboration with carefully selected contract research organizations both in Europe and the USA. In order to reach the market as fast as possible and to reduce risk, Biozep will seek strategic partnerships early in the drug development phase. Biozep seeks partners with complementary competence and with resources to conduct clinical trials and with market access. We are already in dialogue with potential partners and hope to sign an agreement in 2018-19.

New drugs for treating diseases of Down syndrome. More than 1% of the global GDP is spent on nursing demented people, and the number requiring nursing will triple within 2050. The disease is progressive, leading to death. There is no current cure available, only symptomatic treatments. Individuals born with Down syndrome have a more than 10x risk of developing dementia as well as a host of other diseases including diabetes. Our drug target, DYRK1A is an enzyme found on chromosome 21, and is considered a key factor determining developmental and medical challenges faced by individuals with Down. The enzyme interacts with multiple biological mechanisms involved in Alzheimer’s and autoimmune diseases. Advanced drug designUsing advanced drug design technologies, we have designed a potent DYRK1A inhibitor drug, PST-900. A use and substance of matter patent have been applied for. The company is currently working on chemical Lead Optimisation with 8 full-time medicinal chemists contracted.Financing and milestonesThe Company raised NOK 5 million in 2015 and 8.8 MNOK in 2016/2017, matching non-dilutive research (BIA) and business grants (Innovation Norway). We demonstrated Proof of Principle in a model system for Alzheimer’s disease in 2Q2016. We have also demonstrated that our drug is capable of reversing diabetes in an animal model. Together with clinical and regulatory advisors, we have identified an important unmet need for a drug to treat newly diagnosed diabetes. We will use this indication to quickly progress to market and from there develop analogous drug molecules in Alzheimer’s disease, focused especially in Down syndrome. Funding soughtThe current funding round will raise 15+ MNOK to fund the progression to the final Development Candidate during 2018. Rådgivning bygg Rådgivning innenfor utforming av barnehager og uteområder. Dette gjelder både prosjektering av nye bygg, og rehabilitering av eksisterende bygg eller enkeltrom i bygget. Vårt mål er at et bygg skal hjelpe deg i hverdagen, med funksjonene der man trenger dem. Et bygg skal bidra til å skape en god ramme for den pedagogiske virksomheten og være et godt sted for barna og en god arbeidsplass for de ansatte. Vi planlegger derfor ut i fra en praktisk hverdag, hvor alt fra rutiner, alle former for lek og aktiviteter inne og ute, møtevirksomhet, kommunikasjon og HMS blir ivaretatt. Vi fokuserer på fleksible bygg, hvor man ikke må låse seg for mye til en bestemt måte å jobbe på, hvor man kan ha åpne løsninger, og samtidig ha mulighet for å skjerme mindre grupper. Hver enkelt tomt og hvert enkelt bygg er unikt, og det handler om å finne den beste løsningen for den enkelte barnehage.

In the autumn of 2016 was CSI Marine Cleaning AS [CSI] established and included in Validé's incubation program with our idea for a ship hull cleaner and cleaning of other structures submerges in the sea. CSI's idea and goal with this unit are to collect 100% of all bio-marine fouling that comes off of the surface while cleaning. The collected fouling will then be rendered harmless by killing all bio-marine life that is collected before returning it back to the sea. As of date, there is no ship hull cleaner that can document 100% collection of the fouling. Competitive ship hull cleaners vary in the collection of the bio-marine fouling from 25μm and upwards. The need for collection is as low as 2μm according to a study.CSI has secured letters of intent with Yanmar Co. LTD., Østerbø Maskin AS, and Optimarin AS with regard to the development of the collection system and ship hull cleaning unit. CSI has also in the letter of intent with Optimarin AS secured exclusive rights for use of their technology in our line of business. Furthermore, CSI has secured letters of intent with Teekay Shipping Norge AS and Transpetrol Tm AS stating their interest in the finalized product. They may intend to use the cleaning service if the product function as described and the service has competitive pricing.  Information about the development project: The technology for the collection system needs to be developed as a prototype. When it's developed the prototype will be fitted to Yanmar's net cleaner that will be modified for solid surfaces and connected to Optimarin's technology for filter and UV treatment. The cleaning speed is about 1500m2 per hour and is using water pressure in three rotating disks for cleaning the surfaces. iCsys AS will be engaged with implementing sensors and creating unique 3D-mapping software. iCsys will also implement autonomic features for the unit. Regarding research and documentation, we will involve Christian Michelsen Research AS that will document the effectiveness of the finalized unit. Østerbø Maskin will assist with CAD, engineering, and manufacturing of the unit.CSI intends to apply for Innovation Norway's Environmental technology program to start the development of this unit, thus searching for companies or investors willing to finance this project.

Our mission is to bring the best practice from the global capital markets to raise philanthropic funding more efficiently. Our goal is to contribute to higher impact of philanthropic capital. The OPX Solution addresses the inefficient funding of the non-profit sector and the lack of standardised, transparent and comparable data. Urban Infrastructure Partner is a Norwegian based mobility operator and in 2016  we launched a new kind of bike sharing- Oslo City Bike, which has more than doubled usage in less than 8 months. In Oslo we’ve now reached more than 2 million trips and increased the utilization to 10 trips per bike per day.
