WAID

WAID helps humanitarian aid organizations deploy aid workers. WAID provides a two-sided marketplace between aid organizations and aid workers. The organizations struggle to deploy enough workers for big projects. The workers want to contribute more than they currently are. WAID marketplace will automatically match organizations with relevant and available personnel for their projects, facilitating volunteer exchange between organizations. This gives the volunteers the opportunity to contribute more frequently to varied projects. For the organizations, this means rapid matchmaking, increased capacity, and savings on recruitment and training costs.

Equality Check

Equality Check is a community-based platform catalyzing diversity through increased transparency and accountability. We provide a platform for crowdsourced anonymous reviews about perceived equality in the workplace. We empower people to drive change by adding a sense of urgency through increased transparency and raise their voice anonymously. We provide the ability to learn about other companies before choosing jobs and help other job seekers find a company where they will have equal opportunities.

Kinga Insurance

Kinga Insurance is a B2B cloud based insurance platform. We enable the rapid development and deployment of next generation products for insurers.Founded in 2018, Kinga, taken from Swahili means to protect or provide immunity. Our offering was borne out of the need to accelerate product development. By using cloud based services we offer our services through a SaaS (software as a service) revenue model.Currently in talks with Top 5 insurers in South Africa, we are looking to launch in 2019.

OsloWay is local company providing guided tours and experiences in Oslo. We focus on immersive and authentic experiences that reflect Oslo's history, culture, identity and lifestyle. Or as we like to say: We are here to share both our knowledge about the city and the real Oslo way of life! What is more, all tours and experiences are created with regards to having minimal impact on our environment. Besides using green transport such as e-scooters, kick bikes, public transport and our own feet, we co-operate with the best small local businesses and enthusiasts.

Vårt mål er at du som en forelder skal kunne bruke mindre tid for å finne eller organisere drømmeaktiviteter eller ferier for barna. Høres det kjent ut at dette ofte er tidkrevende? Da forklarer vi videre. Her kan du enkelt og greit booke, annonsere, involvere andre eller si din mening om aktiviteter dine barn har deltatt på. Skolefri er en ny måte å organisere barnas fritid på. Skolefri er et verktøy skapt for foreldre, barn og annonsører. Bli med oss på denne reisen! Vi startet med en idé i 2017. Nå er vi fire dedikerte personer som arbeider for å lykkes med Skolefri. Vi har alle fulltidsjobber, og jobber med Skolefri.no på kvelder og i helger. I snitt bruker vi ca. 4 timer hver per uke. Vårt motto er at vi skal ha det gøy på veien til målet. Gøy sammen.

Ocean Industry Forum Oslofjord

Ocean Industry Forum Oslofjord is the Oslo chapter of "Maritimt Forum". It's a not-for profit association with an aim to encourage innovation in the ocean industries and to support ocean start-ups and help them become scale-ups. Most of the maritime, offshore and other ocean industries are in big need of innovation, and we have a small, but significant enough role to play in that respect. We will work with other actors, like The Hub, in the Oslofjord region and beyond, to achieve this goal.

Podbike AS

An e-bike that offers freedom and comfort in any weather. No license necessary and you can use the bike lanes. It is small, easy to charge and park. You avoid stressful traffic jams and get light exercise while minimizing your environmental footprint. It makes your daily commute a joy. Compared to a car it has a fraction of the environmental footprint both during production and in use.

Missing Maps

The Missing Maps project maps the most vulnerable places in the developing world.  Building on the excellent work done by the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT) and others in mapping as emergency response, the Missing Maps Project aims to map the places in the world where the most vulnerable people live in a proactive way. Instead of responding to a natural disaster, conflict or epidemic, regions vulnerable to crises are identified and mapped in anticipation of crises, meaning that when one occurs, local people, NGOs and other responders can start using the maps and the data from the word go, saving valuable time, and potentially, lives.The Missing Maps Project is an open collaboration founded by the American Red Cross, the British Red Cross, Humanitarian OSM Team (HOT) and Medecins Sans Frontieres/Doctors Without Borders (MSF).

Our product will make healthier more sustainable seafarming.Blue Lice have found a way to attract, capture and contain sealice before infecting the fish.

Vivaldi

In 1994, two programmers started working on a web browser. The idea was to make a really fast browser, capable of running on limited hardware, keeping in mind that users are individuals with their own requirements and wishes. Opera was born. Our little piece of software gained traction, our group grew, and we formed a community. We stayed close to our users and our roots. We kept improving our software based on our user feedback, as well as our own ideas on how to make a great browser. We innovated and strove for excellence. Fast forward to 2015. The browser we once loved has changed its direction. Sadly, it is no longer serving its community of users and contributors — who helped build the browser in the first place. So we came to a natural conclusion: we must make a new browser. A browser for ourselves and for our friends. A browser that is fast, but also a browser that is rich in functionality, highly flexible and puts the user first. A browser that is made for you. And so, Vivaldi is born.

Showtag AS

Showtag was designed to enhance the audience viewing experience, designed to allow audiences to pause video content and discover an actor’s profile, the brand of clothing or product feature as well as identify a specific song. We simply place a layer inside the video player of the broadcaster. Tagging is done using artificial intelligence (AI) and the human eye, after viewers can pause the programme for ‘showtag enabled’ which is completely integrated and measurable for broadcasters.  No one has the patience for commercials anymore, and so product placement in entertainment has become more prevalent than ever before. And when done correctly, visuals or mentions of brand names within a TV show or movie can improve -- or at least, not ruin -- the viewer's experience. Showtag has developed a new way to enhance the product placement with Showtag Enabled. Showtag Enabled is a non-intrusive way for product placement that gives the control to the viewer. By utilizing the power of the pause button! And we are even able to multiply the numerous (missed) opportunities for product placement. Showtag was designed to enhance the audience viewing experience, designed to allow audiences to pause video content and discover an actor’s profile, the brand of clothing or product feature as well as identify a specific song. We simply place a layer inside the video player of the broadcaster.
