For the one I also run a blog where I am interviewing people in the beerbrewing business. I also take the pictures for their social media. Missing Maps

The Missing Maps project maps the most vulnerable places in the developing world.  Building on the excellent work done by the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team (HOT) and others in mapping as emergency response, the Missing Maps Project aims to map the places in the world where the most vulnerable people live in a proactive way. Instead of responding to a natural disaster, conflict or epidemic, regions vulnerable to crises are identified and mapped in anticipation of crises, meaning that when one occurs, local people, NGOs and other responders can start using the maps and the data from the word go, saving valuable time, and potentially, lives.The Missing Maps Project is an open collaboration founded by the American Red Cross, the British Red Cross, Humanitarian OSM Team (HOT) and Medecins Sans Frontieres/Doctors Without Borders (MSF).

We’re building different algorithms to find “the next right customer” to be delivered to sales departments and sales agents - giving our customers increased sales while cutting down on manpower. Our product Cube is a comprehensive solution for both sales agents, managers and clients. He has extensive experience as a leader of callcenters and sales-organisations within finance and media.Rune is one of the founders of Headshed, and a member of the board.------From September 2017, Headshed will join NTNU Accel and be located in the Sparebank 1 SMN Fintech incubator at Søndre gate in the centre of Trondheim. Headshed has also been selected to participate in TINC during oct/nov 2017. TINC is a technology incubator programme in Silicon Valley hosted by Innovation Norway.

Capeesh

Capeesh is combining machine intelligence with gamification in order to provide relevant language learning for non-native speakers who work in domain-specific industries.Capeesh aims to change how employers onboard and train new hires. It is all about providing the right language learning exercise in the right industry-related context, driving towards authentic use in an authentic context. This experience transfers employees work-related capacity. In Capeesh we embrace diversity and creativity! Sail works on optimizing your conversion rates, avg. customer spend and customer retention: get resales, cross sales and build an audience.   We are dedicated and passionate people. We love marketing, design, technology, and we have an inherent need to optimize anything - which of course includes our clients websites and marketing campaigns. Technology is changing the way customers discover, try, buy and review products both online and offline - and that's a revolution we want to be part of.

Moonwalk

Moonwalk designs startup challenges organised as programs. Alone or together with a strategic or financial partner. A program creates startups and runs for two semesters with paying participants. Then the program is incorporated. With participants as sweat equity part owners of the entire portfolio. An equity crowdfunding campaign decides how many startups are launched. Moonwalk is a 100 days startup hatcher and accelerator. No one should work here for any other reason than that they really want to. I had to figure out a way to fund and source the competence of people, but also fund their activity so that we can share in the outcome. No one had really given me any pointers on how to do that, so I had to find a new model of crowdfunding, crowdsourcing and shared ownership. Me and my colleague Victor developed that over the course of two years. He was a previous customer and the most talented person I know in the areas of value-chains and complexity. I asked him to join me and he said yes. We are in this together.

Antec Biogas AS

Antec Biogas utvikler biogassanlegg som optimaliserer produksjonen av biogass og gjødselprodukter, basert på tilgjengelig avfall og biomasse i anleggets nærområde. Vårt hovedkontor ligger i Oslo. Som team er vi dedikerte og målrettede. Vi tilnærmer oss utvikling av anlegg med ydmykhet, med forståelse for at biologiske prosesser, konstruksjon og drift er komplekse. Etter et tiår med driftserfaring vet vi at vi kan gjøre en forskjell – at erfaringsoverføring fra andre industrier er verdifull, og at vi, til tross for vår størrelse, kan bidra med gode løsninger. Gjennom mange år har teamet fått god erfaring med bruk av forskjellige typer biomasser i biogassproduksjon. OceanTherm AS

In recent years we have witnessed intense tropical storms, costing thousands of lives, as well as massive destructions. The total estimated cost for damage caused by hurricanes in 2017, is calculated at $250 billion. Also in 2018, we have seen hurricanes causing catastrophic damage and human tragedies. Tropical hurricanes are generated when masses of cold and warm air collide. And the sea surface temperature is above 26.5°C. We are doing research and development to cool the sea surface temperature by exploiting colder water deeper down in the sea. This will help us cope with climate change. The companyOceanTherm AS was founded in 2017 and is engaged in the research and development of methods and technologies preventing tropical storms from becoming devastating. OceanTerm AS also delivers maritime counseling. The challenge Many people have tried to find ways of preventing hurricanes before they make landfall, resulting in the loss of human lives. In recent years we have witnessed intense tropical storms, costing thousands of lives, as well as massive destructions. For example: in 2005, hurricane Katrina killed more than 1,800 people and caused damage of $ 90 billion. In 2016, hurricane Matthew swept across Haiti, taking 852 lives and destroying many towns on the island. The total estimated cost for damage caused by hurricanes in 2017, is calculated at $250 billion. Tropical hurricanes are generated when masses of cold and warm air collide. Another essential factor is that the sea surface temperature is above 26.5°C. Climate change is causing sea surface temperatures to increase. In the case of hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria that occurred between August and September 2017, sea surface temperatures were measured as high as 32°C. The big questionIs it possible to cool the sea surface to below 26.5°C by exploiting colder water from deeper in the water column? The answer is yes, we have the methods and the technology.CooperationOceanTherm AS is located in Horten (Norway) and collaborates with SINTEF Ocean AS in Trondheim and SILICIA in Horten.FundingInnovation Norway and the Research Council of Norway are supporting the research program.

The requirement for long-lasting insulation will rise in the coming years. The future should focus on solutions and products that will last longer. A natural effect of rising demands in the building sector is also a higher price for the customer. The people at MKK AS, have a technology that combines sustainable products. The combination is going to compete with concrete elements when it comes to bearing capacity. A regular buildup of an outer wall, when it comes to insulation. A bitumen-coated roof, when it comes to water tightness. Our products and material are going to replace the need for concrete, all over the world. One step closer, to reducing CO2 costs of buildings! The patent is pending, we need investors for making the first tests and to be able to implement the structural products in projects.
