Daycloud is a high quality photo app for your special moments. Friends and family can connect to a shared cloud, and the pictures can be seen and downloaded instantly. We are a team of students from different parts of NTNU, ranging from computer engineering to marketing. Moonwalk designs startup challenges organised as programs. Alone or together with a strategic or financial partner. A program creates startups and runs for two semesters with paying participants. Then the program is incorporated. With participants as sweat equity part owners of the entire portfolio. An equity crowdfunding campaign decides how many startups are launched. Moonwalk is a 100 days startup hatcher and accelerator. No one should work here for any other reason than that they really want to. I had to figure out a way to fund and source the competence of people, but also fund their activity so that we can share in the outcome. No one had really given me any pointers on how to do that, so I had to find a new model of crowdfunding, crowdsourcing and shared ownership. Me and my colleague Victor developed that over the course of two years. He was a previous customer and the most talented person I know in the areas of value-chains and complexity. I asked him to join me and he said yes. We are in this together.

Uninite is a universal digital platform for matching in the rental-market. We facilitate one-on-one finding roommates, tenants finding housing and landlords renting out. It’s a global platform for local rental. NewSchool develops innovative digital tools for collaboration and project based learning by combining agile working methods, psychology, games and mobile media.The tools draw on a set of successful business practices  - the kanban boards for Lean Management, adapted to education purposes, in real-time. By focusing on the organization of the process, not its content, it helps develop self-regulation and collaborative skills for 21st century learners. We are an education technology start-up, with extensive change management experience, unique insights in workforce trends and technology, and pedagogy at its core. All team members have solid international experience from fields like mobile technology, business development and technology management, international education, instructional design, and learning sciences research.The team consists of Fredrik Harloff, Chief Executive Officer, and Mihaela Tabacaru , Community Manager, both co-founders of NewSchool, working full time. The third co-founder, Stian Hofslett Thowsen, works full time as a teacher and part of management team at Langaugen secondary school in Bergen, Norway. Besides the three co-founders, NewSchool relies on an interdisciplinary board of administration with senior level execs: Anne Posner, Bjarne Solhaug, and Paal Kaperdal, all with broad experience, covering international business development expertise, publishing house and human resources expertise, and digital transformation expertise. With an international mindset from day 1, we have been testing our product in classrooms across Europe, from Norway to Denmark, Portugal and Romania, to USA.
