At Billify, we are building a professional invoice and receipt generator designed specifically for freelancers, entrepreneurs, and small businesses who need a fast, simple, and professional way to handle their billing. Every day, millions of independent professionals struggle with invoicing. They either waste hours formatting Word or Excel templates, or they overpay for complex accounting software that was never designed for them. The result? Lost time, delayed payments, and a lack of professional credibility with clients. In Europe and the U.S. alone, more than 50 million freelancers face this problem on a regular basis — a massive market that continues to grow as the freelance economy expands. Billify exists to solve this problem. Our product allows users to create invoices in under 60 seconds, with sleek, customizable templates that look professional and inspire confidence. Receipts, payment tracking, and client management are integrated into a single, intuitive workflow. Unlike traditional accounting tools, Billify doesn’t overwhelm users with unnecessary features — instead, we focus on speed, simplicity, and design. Our “secret sauce” is the ability to combine professional output with an effortless user experience that anyone can master instantly. The motivation behind Billify comes from our own frustration as entrepreneurs. We’ve seen first-hand how administrative tasks eat up valuable time that should be spent growing a business. Flokki

Over 2.5 million Norwegians lack recommended vaccines, and unfortunately, many are unaware of this. But luckily, there is a solution: Flokki. We are ready to play a key role in increasing vaccination rates and improving public health. Dr. Arne Søraas, an experienced infectious disease specialist at Oslo University Hospital and Flokki, has witnessed the consequences of missing vaccinations up close. This insight inspired the idea of Flokki - a simple and practical tool that allows patients to assess their vaccination status and receive prescriptions from doctors, all with a few taps on their mobile phones (read more). Maintaining immunity in the adult population, especially after the age of 65, is crucial. The pneumococcal vaccine is particularly important for protecting the elderly from serious diseases. And let's not forget the Boostrix Polio vaccine, which plays a critical role in protecting against whooping cough, especially for those in close contact with newborns. With over 2.5 million Norwegians lacking vaccines, almost all pharmacy staff should be able to provide recommendations for vaccine checks. We especially encourage those over 65 to check their vaccination status, as well as pregnant women, who have a special duty to protect themselves and their unborn children. By raising awareness of the importance of vaccination and providing easy access to vaccines, Flokki is the answer to the adult vaccination program. Together, we can improve public health and reduce the incidence of serious diseases in society.

VG Lab

We test and build innovative consumer services and apps. Backed by the distribution and financial muscles of Norway's largest newspaper VG, while free of corporate policies and bureaucracy, we are able to take ideas from concept to reality in record time. Among our most recent innovations are the charging app Elton, the wishlist service Ønsk and the streaming service TV Guide. Our services can help businesses to optimize costs and carbon footprint, as well as improve onboarding, planning, marketing, and maintenance activities. We believe that by 2025 property presentations with only steel photography will be as popular as CDs today, and virtual reality devices will be as common as smartphones now. A cloud-based industrial IoT solution for manufacturers of all sizes that boosts productivity with powerful analytics in a pay-as-you-go package - Improving productivity of the factory in terms of man, machine, and time efforts. Optimizing the factory capacity for production by keeping in mind orders, stock of raw materials, and multiple other factors. - Scrap management - you are too late in the process if you realize that a specific order is producing scrap. UpKip's goal is to identify scrap before the order is launched for manufacturing. - Higher asset utilization. CNC machines have monitoring and control software installed on their monitors and controllers, but one person monitoring one machine is too expensive. UpKip allows for one factory worker (machine operator) to monitor multiple machines. The goal is to increase this load to 10 machines per worker. - Compliance, quality assurance, and reporting of all types of manufacturing KPIs to interest groups (customers, partners, sister/mother/group companies, and owners) to the factory. Certain interest groups nowadays are interested in being more vested in the entire process and understanding their supplier processes for example. Making sure there is traceability in the process is important to make sure quality standards are matched. Nearshore and offshore manufacturing facilities are often faced with daily and real-time reporting.
