Marin Design

Marin Design is located in Kolvereid in Nord-Trøndelag County, and was founded in 2006. Our staff include engineers and skilled technicians with experience from several different disciplines within the marine and maritime sector. There are many companies within maritime industries such as fisheries, aquaculture and logistics in Kolvereid and in close-lying regions (e.g. Vikna). These companies are also some of the main clients in our professional activities, which are primarily focused on design of vessels, covering all aspects from hull shape to interior machinery and equipment. We are also qualified for certifying deck-mounted cranes. We have designed a series of different vessels, including service vessels for the fish farming industry, tugs and fishing vessels. In addition, we have experience in modifying existing vessels and specialized design of vessels for specific purposes. Since 2011 our quality system have been certified by Bureau Veritas, according to ISO 9001:2008 - Design and construction, stability calculations, and technological services and innovative environmentally correct solutions in the field of marine and maritime enterprises, nationally and internationally.

Odd Standard

The company is founded and run by Constance and Tonje, two Norwegian product designers with extensive background from development and production of tableware. We worked together in Figgjo for many years, and found a common fascination for the experience of eating, and how tableware products could enhance this experience.  Standards in stock, available for instant shipping.

Validé fully facilitates innovation projects from the early R&D phase until commercialization by providing expertise in technology management, startups, incubation, investment, IPR and IP portfolio management, transactions, technology marketing, prototyping, and product development. Validé is the official technology transfer office of 10 research institutes and responsible for the IP portfolio management and commercialization of their intellectual assets. Validé offers incubation services to high-tech startups including accelerator programs, office space and full service startup packages.

Decisions extends Office 365 with a powerful meeting management solution that solves the problem of ineffective meetings. With customers around the world, Decisions was recognized by Microsoft with 1st Place for Best Office Integration in the Office App Awards. Decisions for Microsoft Teams, Decisions  Meeting Secretary for Outlook and Meeting Documents Manager for Microsoft Word are add-ins, and the solution integrates without an add-in for OneNote, Planner, Excel and SharePoint

GlucoSet AS

GlucoSet develops a disposable glucose sensor for use in critically ill hospital patients. Continuous monitoring of glucose in this patient group will enable better glucose control, which significantly reduces cost and improves patient outcomes. While many solutions exist for continuous glucose monitoring in diabetics, no good solution exists for critically ill patients. The company has a portfolio of granted patents, and is backed by venture capital investors. We're currently 7 permanent employees and growing fast. Ode is building the world’s simplest solution for therapeutic music. We combine a smart speaker with a single-knob interface and AI-driven curation to reduce anxiety, agitation, and depression in people living with dementia. Founded after CEO Guttorm saw music’s impact through his grandmother’s dementia, Ode exists to remove the time, technology, and cost barriers that keep personalised music out of everyday care. Today, getting it right typically means specialist mapping, hours of playlist work, and daily device hassle, which caregivers and families can’t sustain. Ode makes it practical: curate in minutes, then play instantly with one knob—so the right music is there when it’s needed, without adding workload.

No more hassle with paperwork or waiting in line. We are 100% digital and are providing a full insurance experience in the pockets of everyone leaving their homes. In Norway 50% of all young adults don't have travel insurance, and they perceive insurance as complicated, expensive and unavailable. At the same time, the insurance industry lacks digitisation with only 40% of all insurance sales taking place on a digital platform. We have developed travel insurance tailored to the specific needs of each traveller, all within a convenient and user-friendly app. By harnessing the power of GEO-fencing we ensure travellers receive seamless coverage when and where they need it, offering a level of flexibility unseen in the industry. We have built the insurance product, and we are going to build the app. Simen started working on Kvikk while studying Innovation & Management, and has previously been travelling around the world several times and do understand the importance of travel insurance. We honestly believe that insurance companies should do better. In this digital world, insurance should be more available for the customer. There should be possible to buy insurance, get an overview and file claims within minutes, and always available in your own pocket. We also believe in fair and transparent products, where the customer actually gets a personalised products tailored to their own travel pattern. We want to rewrite the rules of insurance by making it available, fair, easy and personalised.

InfoTiles

InfoTiles’ innovative digital analytics platform spans the water value chain, simplifying and automating the tedious steps of consolidating data and applying real-time analytics and machine learning for water management.
