Gryttr

Gryttr is a high quality guide for bouldering outdoors. In places where we have content, it will be superior to the alternatives. Find bouldering that suits you, based on your preferences regardless of experience, if you are alone or in a group. Why we succeedThe quality is obtained through local Gryttr supervisors. The supervisors all become guide book authors using Gryttr as the repository that forms the basis of guide books for sale. We run with shared economy where the income follows effort. The team consist of experienced climbers with careers in technology, user-centric and lean development, management and marketing. In the Alpha and Beta phases the operational development team consists of Tina Jørgensen and fullstack programmers Kalle Pohjapelto and Øyvind Nordhagen with support from the owners and the reference group.

We’re already protecting global brands like McDonald’s — cutting spoilage, costs, and waste worldwide.

SomebodyMakeIt

GitHub made it easy for the world to build software together. SomebodyMakeIt does the same for physical products. SomebodyMakeIt is where brands, IP owners, and product creators can turn ideas into real products without building supply chains from scratch through a shared infrastructure for sourcing, collaboration, production, and scaling. Physical product creation is still absurdly broken. If you want to launch something real, you usually need to find the right people, manage scattered files and feedback, coordinate suppliers, handle production risk, and commit money before you know if demand exists. That kills speed, margins, and momentum. It also locks out a huge number of creators and companies that could launch great products if the system were easier. This is a massive market gap hiding in plain sight. We are building the platform where physical products get built. A place where ideas, briefs, collaborators, makers, manufacturers, production knowledge, and execution can live in one system. Instead of every company rebuilding the process from zero, they can plug into shared infrastructure for developing, testing, and scaling products. The more projects that run through the platform, the stronger the network becomes. More data, better matching, faster execution, more repeat production, and more value captured across the lifecycle. We started this because we think it is crazy that software has world class infrastructure for building together, while physical products are still stuck in email, spreadsheets, fragmented sourcing, and expensive guesswork. That should not be true anymore. We are building SomebodyMakeIt because the company that becomes the default place where physical products get built can become incredibly important.

ABchar

ABchar is developing a new type of pyrolysis reactor, affordable heating and the possibility of small-scale biochar production, adapted to agriculture.. This will help achieve the goal of a 40% reduction in emissions from the agricultural sector. What is pyrolysis? Simply put, this is the heating of an organic material without access to oxygen. This leads to a series of reactions that ultimately result in 3 main products; biochar, oil and gas. We want to utilize the biochar in this process. The oil and gas will be burned and the heat from this will be used to dry grain, heat barns, greenhouses, residential buildings and other things that need heat on a farm. Why pyrolysis and biochar? Plants absorb CO2 from the air around us through photosynthesis. They are actually extremely good at this too. The residual product is mainly oxygen and the plant material. The great thing about pyrolysis is that we are able to separate water, oxygen and hydrogen from the plant material and we are left with more or less pure carbon 80% +. This is carbon from the air! If we take this coal and spread it on our agricultural land, it will be stored there for up to 1000 years and perhaps longer. In some cases, the soil will become more fertile and less vulnerable to periods of too much or too little water.

Next Utdanning AS

Next Utdanning AS is an innovative edtech startup focused on modernizing and adapting the education system to meet today’s needs. We develop flexible, digital learning solutions that bridge the gap between theory and practice, making education more relevant to the workforce. The problem we are solving: Traditional education often lags behind the fast-paced changes in the job market. Many educational programs have fixed curricula that do not quickly adapt to the evolving demands of technology-driven industries. As a result, students may graduate without the up-to-date skills required in their fields, creating a disconnect between what they learn and what is actually needed in the workplace. Why we do this: We believe that education should be flexible, current, and directly aligned with the needs of today’s and tomorrow’s job markets. Through Next Utdanning AS, we aim to enhance the learning experience by offering modular courses, personalized learning pathways, and technology-driven teaching methods that integrate practical experience.

Empire AI

Empire AI is a company founded by workspace consultants with over a decade of experience in developing office buildings. Through our work, we noticed that the office planning process is characterized by gut-feelings, guesswork and outdated benchmarks. This results in suboptimal office space that has massive amounts of unused space - an average of 80-90% of chairs and 50-60% of rooms remain empty during work hours in a typical office building today. Simultaneously, employees are complaining they do not have the necessary rooms and support their work. To address this issue, we created Empire AI. Empire's software is designed to transform the way you plan and manage your office space, making office buildings more space efficient, sustainable, and people-centric. Our machine learning models can predict how your office space will be used, allowing you to make informed decisions before you even begin building. With our software, you'll be able to identify which rooms and areas will be most useful and which will be less so, ensuring optimal utilization of your space. It can be used for building specifications, scenario planning, monitoring and improving existing office space and to predict utilization before building the space. Our recommendations are based on years of research and data, so our customers can be confident that they're making the right choices.

GoGood

At GoGood, we work towards developing a reuse economy for office furniture that will be preferred to the consumer economy. Our solution consists of a digital reuse-platform that aims to become a driving force in the reuse economy for used office furniture. We have taken a concrete approach, starting with office interiors as our initial focus. In Norway alone, the office furniture market is worth over 4 billion annually, yet we discard 140,000 tons of furniture valued at 400-500 million Norwegian kroner each year. This cannot continue. That's why we have developed a reuse-platform for furniture, including a marketplace for the professional furniture market, making it incredibly easy for businesses, interior architects, and other stakeholders to sell their furniture while also simplifying the process of purchasing used furniture for interior projects, as well as making old furniture look new again. Over the past two years, we have made significant progress in developing modern reuse solutions, products, and services. With public support totaling over 15 million Norwegian kroner from the Research Council of Norway, Innovation Norway, and the Oslo municipality, as well as partnerships with industry players such as Flokk, Aarsland, Ope, Norsk Gjenvinning, Glomma Industrier, Hannah Nordh, Oslo Waste and Recycling Agency, NORSUS - Norwegian Institute for Sustainability Research, Norsk Regnesentral, and OBOS, we are now ready with our reuse-platform making the circular economy for office furniture on a large scale possible-

metamanager

metamanager is a SaaS platform for SEO founded by Erik in August 2021 and was born from many lost opportunities. Being a techie who over-invested in SEO for years and had web development as a hobby, he decided to build a platform to solve one of the biggest Achilles heels search engine optimization has today: execution. You don’t have the resources to do SEO? No worries, we have built a no-code platform where you can edit critical on-page elements super fast and publish directly to your website. Thus reducing developer dependency for minor implementations. Our team consists of R2D2, two developers, and a digital marketing aficionado from Norway and France. And our vision is to improve SEO workflows, make optimization more available for non-nerds and become one of the best one-stop-shop SEO platforms out there. SEO should be a walk in the park - but bureaucracy, low manpower, and/or waiting for developers to get on with your SEO tasks (who always add them last in their gigantic backlog) make it take weeks to months.
