We are equally concerned about the state of hearing for both consumers as well as professionals, ranging from musicians to workers in the construction industry. Minuendo was founded in 2018 by a team with extensive experience in acoustics, hearing protection, and product development. Our mission is to deliver category-defining hearing protection products that users will truly enjoy wearing and that will provide real protection.  Shortly after starting the company, we raised a total of EUR 2.5 million from investors such as Construct Venture and EU grants to accelerate our development. Minuendo is a fast-growing start-up based in Oslo. An intracellular approach to diagnostics – changing the way diagnostics approach blood tests. Pre Diagnostics is the first diagnostics company to focus on intracellular measurements of disease-specific biomarkers inside the blood cells. We extract disease-relevant information from biomarkers located inside specific blood cells called monocytes to provide actionable results for patients and practitioners.

Gruten is an Oslo-based company that creates new value and meaning from coffee waste. We use coffee grounds in the production of soap and body scrub, and run an educational program with lectures, courses, and workshops to create awareness and knowledge about coffee grounds as a valuable resource.  We have a small production/workshop/outlet at Torshov, and sell our products on our own webshop + in ca 35 stores around Oslo and the rest of Norway. At the moment we are working hard to set up a site for mushroom production, growing oyster mushrooms on coffee grounds. When we get a go-ahead for this we will be in demand for funding to set up the production site (we will be growing in used cooling containers, so-called reefers) and need people to work on the site.

Halify AS operates on markets within the field of urban spatial area management, with a specific focus on Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) and urban mobility. We have supplied solutions for Horizon2020-funded projects (VICINITY, CrossMove, BIG IoT), and received support from the Research Council of Norway on projects like Komét and Sparkling, and cooperated with the NCE environment in Horten and Oslo. We are active within several consortiums and part of the Smart Cities Norway network, the ENIT network, and ITS Arena. We have developed solutions for calculating and visualizing the environmental impact made by the transport industry on Norwegian municipalities, and take pride in visualizing difficult concepts and results in a way that is easy to convey.

Software developer and game studio. Our first release is the retro game UFO Hunter, which has been released for iOS, Android, Mac and Windows. We have just released a major upgrade of this game and are also planning several other projects related to software and gamification. More information will come soon.
