Finance Innovation

Finance Innovation is an association and innovation cluster of banks, financing companies, insurance companies, tech companies and educational and research institutions working on the financial services and solutions of tomorrow.   The cluster has set ambitious goals on innovation, growth and value creation, and aim to increase export of Norwegian fintech to international and global markets.    Our project builds on regional business cluster dynamics, has a national scope and a global ambition.

Marketwell AS

Marketwell is a Digital Assistant where shop and salons can track current inventory, see statistics over their bookings and easily order products from different brands that Marketwell partners with. It also features a news section that inspires and keeps salons up to date on the newest trends in the industry and enables users to register for courses and classes that the suppliers organise. Marketwell was founded by business developer Kerstin Krohg, with the aim of creating better B2B trade solutions for the professional hair & beauty industry. Operating first as a consulting firm, Marketwell has been an influencer and a partner to many companies preparing for technological shift in the industry. Now, with the delivery of our SaaS industry trade solution, Marketwell has become an important partner to several industry players and aims to become the standard trade solution for the professional hair and beauty industry worldwide.

Headshed is a Trondheim-based SaaS Technology company building next generation sales tools, driven by the use of machine learning and tons of data from own databases and attractive third parties. We’re building different algorithms to find “the next right customer” to be delivered to sales departments and sales agents - giving our customers increased sales while cutting down on manpower. Our product Cube is a comprehensive solution for both sales agents, managers and clients. CEO – Magnus Hoem SlørdalMagnus has 15 years experience from callcenters, sales and sales management, and knows the callcenter business from the inside.His role in Headshed is CEO, product owner, sales/marketing and our main point of contact for our customers.Magnus is one of the founders of Headshed, and a member of the board.CTO – Torbjørn SlørdalTorbjørn has a Master of Science in Information Technology from NTNU, and has extensive experience as a developer, architect and IT leader in Statoil ASA.Torbjørn is one of the founders of Headshed, chairman of the board, and joined the company full time in September 2016.His main responsibility is to manage the software development and IT operations.Lead developer – Ellen LippeEllen has a Master of Science in Information Technology/Artificial Intelligence from NTNU, and comes to us after 15 years of leading software development teams in Statoil. She is a founding partner of Headshed and our Lead Developer from September 2017.She likes to promote Domain Driven Design and Behaviour Driven Development, giving the occasional lecture at various international conferences.Rune SkjeiRune is the CEO of Consort AS, one of the leading callcenters in Norway. He has extensive experience as a leader of callcenters and sales-organisations within finance and media.Rune is one of the founders of Headshed, and a member of the board.------From September 2017, Headshed will join NTNU Accel and be located in the Sparebank 1 SMN Fintech incubator at Søndre gate in the centre of Trondheim. Headshed has also been selected to participate in TINC during oct/nov 2017. TINC is a technology incubator programme in Silicon Valley hosted by Innovation Norway.

TikkTalk

TikkTalk is an open digital solution for administration of interpretation services. With TikkTalk, you can have video- and phone meeting on any unit you want. Anyone with interpretation skills can register, validate their skills by uploading relevant documentation and access relevant interpretation assignments worldwide. Governmental organizations and enterprises can gain direct access to a global pool of interpreters sorted by language, level of qualification, and feedback. Our mission is to bridge the gap between cultures and languages. We want to make the world smaller by breaking the barriers that separate people. We feel like there is still too much hate in the world. Generally, we want to help people through communication. We want to help the refugee to get integrated into the country and to feel comfortable. Last year the government spent 500 million NOK on interpretation services. This year, the budget has doubled because of the refugee crisis. Half of the money is earmarked for travel. If you can convert 10-20% of that money to video, then we could save a lot of money both for the government and the taxpayers. Then we could spend it on education and health systems.
