This pushed the founder to create a marketplace, strictly for ethical and the most environmental friendly brands. This would spare the customer of time; by collecting all the products they need in one place, and doing the background checking for them, and knowledge; by introducing them to brands they may not have heard of before, and provide them with information about sustainability that the dishonest brands do not want to provide for them. Marin Design is located in Kolvereid in Nord-Trøndelag County, and was founded in 2006. Our staff include engineers and skilled technicians with experience from several different disciplines within the marine and maritime sector. There are many companies within maritime industries such as fisheries, aquaculture and logistics in Kolvereid and in close-lying regions (e.g. Vikna). These companies are also some of the main clients in our professional activities, which are primarily focused on design of vessels, covering all aspects from hull shape to interior machinery and equipment. We are also qualified for certifying deck-mounted cranes. We have designed a series of different vessels, including service vessels for the fish farming industry, tugs and fishing vessels. In addition, we have experience in modifying existing vessels and specialized design of vessels for specific purposes. Since 2011 our quality system have been certified by Bureau Veritas, according to ISO 9001:2008 - Design and construction, stability calculations, and technological services and innovative environmentally correct solutions in the field of marine and maritime enterprises, nationally and internationally.

Progbit is an independent design center helping you to convert your idea into your product. We have wide knowledge of electronic design covering all aspects from hardware to embedded systems including processor and FPGAs. Our main focus is implementing advanced functions in FPGAs and ASICs. ProgBit was founded April 1st 2014 by three experienced designers from Nera/Ceragon and Mikrokrets. We have broad knowledge of radio, modem, telecom, datacom and ultrasound. There are many potential pitfalls when designing FPGA and ASICs. To avoid these, Progbit has a strong focus on design methodologies. This includes partition of the design, naming conventions, clock domain crossing, state machines, reset methodologies and so on. All this is to avoid design errors that can be so hard to debug. ProgBit has also focus on making the FPGA code readable and reusable. This includes sensible signal names and heavy commenting in the code. This makes it easy for anyone to take the code and do improvements in the future. Our target is to design the FPGA together with you and improve your knowledge during the design process. Hence you will be able to maintain and further develop the design afterwards.

Bryggen Research AS (BR) is a small consultancy and research company which develops solutions focusing on the interaction between people and technology through tangible “smart objects”. BR designs and creates purpose-targeted, physical devices, as well as supporting software systems, which collect data using a range of sensors and/or disseminate, analyze and visualize information. BR has a free consulting branch, where employees are free to consider and accept projects of their own choosing. Additionally, BR dedicates part of its resources for pure research purposes, annually publishing design notes and papers to conferences (NordiCHI 2014, NOKOBIT 2015, NordiCHI 2016) and collaborating with the local university in defining and supervising master theses related to its in-house products and research.
