CNC machines have monitoring and control software installed on their monitors and controllers, but one person monitoring one machine is too expensive. UpKip allows for one factory worker (machine operator) to monitor multiple machines. The goal is to increase this load to 10 machines per worker. - Compliance, quality assurance, and reporting of all types of manufacturing KPIs to interest groups (customers, partners, sister/mother/group companies, and owners) to the factory. Certain interest groups nowadays are interested in being more vested in the entire process and understanding their supplier processes for example. Making sure there is traceability in the process is important to make sure quality standards are matched. Nearshore and offshore manufacturing facilities are often faced with daily and real-time reporting.

We enable the green shift to happen in new markets! TioTech is a Norwegian producer of titania (TiO2) nanomaterials and a developer of titania-based technology. We know how to optimise the production process and properties of titania nanoparticles. After successfully developing and commercialising a series of photocatalytic surface treatment products (www.joma-int.com), we are directing our R&D efforts towards a new area; the use of titania as anode-material in Lithium-ion batteries (LIB). A battery with our material on the anode will charge faster, last longer, be safer and tolerate temperature variation better than conventional batteries which have graphite on the anode, and outcompete LTO-batteries on capacity. The development work takes place in our in-house laboratory in Bergen, where our dedicated team (Hjørdis, Marthe, Rob, Anders) play around with titania, giving life to innovative solutions.
