"Lifeboats have killed more people than they have saved!" The statement is as far as I know unsupported, but widely known within the market of lifesaving equipment. Regulatory development, or rather a lack of such, has created a worldwide situation where lifesaving equipment on ships, ferries, cruise liners, you name it, have been torn between manufacturers, owners, service providers, and class and flag authorities, where all parties are biased by their commercial interest and their hopefully unconscious gamble that such equipment never has to be used. Not on their vessel. Not on my watch. The gamble is made with human lives at stake, and unfortunately, the odds are already written in blood. My system is based on my almost 20 years in this busyness. I have been a sailor who has trusted my own life on such equipment. I have been fortunate enough to use such equipment to save others. I have been responsible for the maintenance of such, I have worked with the leading manufacturers of such equipment as well as with companies providing service and inspections. I have also been part of the international organization responsible for the development of the rules for lifesaving equipment, and I have monitored this work closely for the last 10 years. I have seen all sides of the above-mentioned struggle. I know at the end of the day safety is at stake. I also have the solution. My system will benefit all parties and make equipment integrity and safety profitable for all. I am looking for a co-founder, CTO, and system developer to make my dream come true. I need someone with a passion to make a difference. Vi produserer karbon-nanofiber (CNF) gjennom anvendelse av ny banebrytende teknologi. CO2 er vår viktigste innsatsfaktor – og vi bidrar således samtidig til å løse en global miljøutfordring. CNF blir fremstilt gjennom en kjemisk prosess som separerer CO2 molekylet til sine to bestanddeler, karbon og oksygen. CNF har unike egenskaper, og benyttes i dag blant annet ved produksjon av batterier og som byggemateriale. Markedsprisen på CNF er høy – og tilgangen på produktet har frem til nå vært begrenset globalt. I 2015 ble det omsatt CNF for rundt 10 milliarder NOK globalt. Anvendelse av produktet er sterkt stigende – og ny teknologi som vi besitter gjør det mulig å optimalisere produksjonen, og således sikre en stabil tilførsel av CNF til markedet. Bergen Carbon Solutions (BCS) ble etablert i 2016 basert på en bacheloroppgave ved Høyskolen på Vestlandet. Forskningen bak oppgaven ble tildelt «Klimaprisen» ved høyskolen, samt «NITO-prisen» for det arbeidet som har det mest innovative potensial. Forskningen er senere verifisert av Sintef på oppdrag fra BCS.

Vi er tre unge og ambisøse gründere som i fjor vår fikk en idé om å bygge og drifte et floatingsenter i Trondheim. Siden den gang har ballen rullet i økende tempo, og iløpet av høsten står Bare Flyt floatingssenter klart for å gi trønderne et svært godt tilbud innenfor floating therapy. På veien mot åpning har vi fått Rosenborgspiller og ex-landslagsspiller Alexander Søderlund med på teamet. Hva er floating?I floatingtanken flyter du i kroppstemperert vann, og du kjenner ikke hvor vannet begynner og kroppen slutter. Store mengder epsomsalt gjør at du flyter som en kork i vannet, på samme måte som i Dødehavet.
