Based in Kongsberg - the heart of the Subsea Valley - Kongsberg Ferrotech is utilizing world-leading competence to develop the first-ever automated solution, the Oktapous, for riser cleaning, NDT inspection, maintenance (coating), and structural repair (glass/carbon fiber reinforcement). The repair will be performed inside the patented Habitat - allowing for composite repairs subsea and in the splash zone while offering quality as if the repair was performed in a laboratory environment. The Oktapous will offer the client around 50% cost reduction, together with improved quality and significantly reduced HSE risk compare to existing solutions by removing the need for rope access, divers, and ROVs. Kongsberg Ferrotech is partly funded by the Malaysian-based oil and gas company, Petronas Charigali. This ensures us access to the market needs during development, an offshore platform for prototype testing, and the critical first client for market acceptance. We’re an independent game studio based in Oslo, Norway, which was founded in February 2013 by a group of students at the Norwegian School of Information Technology (NITH). In January 2014 we consisted of 7 members of the team who all have different experiences in their own fields of expertise. Our common goal is that we want to contribute to the indie scene with story-driven games, without compromising the gameplay. The Digital Gardener aims to help small scale producers achieve the needed predictability by making it easy to create and maintain a good plan, and by helping them keep on top of work to be done throughout the growing season. The interest in gardening and homesteading has also surged during the corona crisis. Unfortunately, many aspiring home gardeners lack the needed growing competence to succeed with their gardening projects. Ambitious homesteaders face similar challenges as professional growers, as they need a good plan to ensure that they can harvest fresh produce for their family throughout the season. The Digital Gardener aims to help all growers succeed with their gardening projects, and will enable them to share information and experience to help and inspire others to succeed as well. The dishes are produced in cooperation with award-winning chefs and are sold to the customers through unmanned pick-up stations. While there are a lot of different providers of fast-food in Norway, finding a healthy fast-food alternative is harder than one should think. Especially if you are interested in a healthy, fast and affordable meal, the alternatives are few, and you will often end up having to choose two of the three criterias (e.g. fast and affordable, but unhealthy). Healthy EATS is going to change the perception that healthy food cannot be both affordable and fast, by changing the way the food is distributed to the consumer - cutting all waiting time. This will be done by replacing the traditional fast-food restaurants with our high-tech, unmanned pick-up points. These pick-up points will be available all around the city and allow the customer to access the food instantly, paying through our mobile app or by credit card.
