Our insights show us that 87 % of first-year students find it difficult to cope with social or academic aspects of university life, while 40 % say they feel lonely and isolated. This needs to change. We have world-leading edtech investors including Katapult, Learn Capital and EduCapital that trust us to change education for the better, and we are building our chat application that helps students makes friends.

We founded Metaito in February 2019, after spending more than four years at NTNU. The initial idea was sparked in 2014 when we discovered the challenge of organizing our resources as students. Since then, we have gone through several iterations of prototypes. We created a platform for organizing and sharing tools, links and documents on the Internet - Factsplat. As of Q3 2024, we have several paying customers, investors, raised amount of 5 467 041 NOK, almost 6,000 users of the platform, contracts with various non-governmental organizations, 19 sports teams on board as our partners, a solid team, and a working product. Factsplat has evolved into a platform designed to help users manage their digital lives efficiently. Our mission is to give individuals and organizations control over their online resources, ensuring they are organized, accessible, and shareable, thereby reducing distractions and improving focus. RagnaRock Geo develops AI software which aids oil and gas companies in exploration. The software uses machine learning to interpret subsurface data and has an intuitive interface that acts as a "smart assistant" for exploration experts. RagnaRock Geo’s mission is to make the interpretation workflow more efficient and creative so that geoscientists can focus on the value-creating tasks. Det var for noen år tilbake stor produksjon av solcellemoduler i Norge. Norske REC hadde produksjon av komplette solcellemoduler både i Glomfjord og Narvik. Begge i Nordland. I 2011 kom bl.a. østlige produsenter på banen og presset prisene betydelig på kort tid. Dette så mye at REC ble nødt til å flagge ut produksjonen fra Norge. Igjen stod det mye god kompetanse. Bare i Narvik jobbet oppunder 300 personer med solcelleproduksjon. Det var, og er fremdeles, et forskningsmiljø på solcelleteknologi i Narvik. Det var ifm denne utflaggingen fra REC at Solbes AS oppstod. Vi kan dermed skilte med å være den bedriften i Norge som har noe av den beste kompetansen som er å oppdrive, samt en av aktørene som har vært lengst i markedet. Dette er vi stolte av! ​Vi har ansatte både med mastergrad og doktorgrad innen solcellesystemer.  Som en bil ikke er en bil, og en ost ikke er en ost, så er heller ikke et solcellepanel et solcellepanel. Developing an automatic system for saving costs, reducing waste, and increasing hygiene relating to use of disposable gloves in the food service industry. The system allows disposable gloves to be reused and disinfected. We are in the process of adapting prototypes and software with partners for final test phase in the market.

Comlight is a Norwegian company specializing in energy saving streetlight solutions and is a commercial technology provider on the international market. For Comlight, the question is how to solve the problem of pointless energy waste in fully illuminated roads at times when there is no traffic. The answer is the Motion Sensing Street Light Control System, an energy saving technology that illuminates only when and where it is actually needed, without compromising the safety. The system features a radar detector on each light pole that senses all activity that requires optimal lighting on the road or in the area. When movement is detected by the closest street light, the light turns on to a full 100 per cent, allowing full sight and turns down to 20 per cent for energy saving when no one is around. The system has been tested by the Norwegian Public Road Authority and is represented in thousands of light points across Europe. Comlight is constantly expanding through its distribution partners. The system suits roads/streets, parks, large industrial areas and residential areas. Comlight sells to commercial distributors and is continuously working to find distribution partners that match its environmental values and future plans.

Alphafish is a design and data company in the smart home sector. We believe technology should flow so seamlessly in our everyday lives that it seems invisible and feels like magic.  Our flagship product is a smart power strip that does not look like a smart power strip, but rather a home accessory - like a lamp, breadbox, cable box, or a skull.
