Aega ASA is a solar utility company that acquires and operates solar power plants. The company currently owns a portfolio of seven individual solar parks in the Umbria, Lazio, Abruzzo, Emilia-Romagna and Lombardia regions in Italy with a combined production capacity of 7MWp, and an initial annual electricity production of approximately 10GWh depending on the annual solar irradiation.  The company focuses on acquisitions of smaller existing solar parks (below 5MWp capacity), following strict investment criteria.  The company targets to reach a total production capacity of 20MW within 2017 by taking advantage of the current attractive market for secondary solar parks meeting the strict investment criteria.

If you see that consumption is higher than expected, you can easily identify the cause, and with a keystroke, you can turn off or adjust the heating or the lights. It could not be more simple!

GlucoSet develops a disposable glucose sensor for use in critically ill hospital patients. Continuous monitoring of glucose in this patient group will enable better glucose control, which significantly reduces cost and improves patient outcomes. While many solutions exist for continuous glucose monitoring in diabetics, no good solution exists for critically ill patients. The company has a portfolio of granted patents, and is backed by venture capital investors. We're currently 7 permanent employees and growing fast. We are enabling the mounting of solar systems in fragile or challenging terrains. Current mounting structures are based on pile ramming, concrete or similar solutions. This limits the number of locations for ground mounted solar systems or makes it very expensive to build these systems. These systems are also very labour intensive, making it difficult to develop solar systems in locations where labour is hi-cost. Since current mounting structures is best for large flat areas, these systems also face competition for other purposes also valuing large flat areas. This makes the alternative cost of the area rather high. We are aiming on mitigating these challenges with our mounting system, opening for larger solar systems in areas that until now have been deemed not suitable. This because the soil conditions are too difficult, the terrain demands too much soil cultivation making the cost high either economical or ecological, the labour cost is too high, or the flat and open landscape is prioritized for other purposes than solar systems. We are not competing with existing mounting system, but opening new possibilities for more solar energy worldwide.
