Gruten is an Oslo-based company that creates new value and meaning from coffee waste. We use coffee grounds in the production of soap and body scrub, and run an educational program with lectures, courses, and workshops to create awareness and knowledge about coffee grounds as a valuable resource.  We have a small production/workshop/outlet at Torshov, and sell our products on our own webshop + in ca 35 stores around Oslo and the rest of Norway. At the moment we are working hard to set up a site for mushroom production, growing oyster mushrooms on coffee grounds. When we get a go-ahead for this we will be in demand for funding to set up the production site (we will be growing in used cooling containers, so-called reefers) and need people to work on the site.

Excitus is set up to develop, manufacture and sell medical suction products based on its revolutionary, patent-pending mobile suction platform. Products will span from professional hand-held tools for paramedics to consumer devices in a private home and stored together with the defibrillator at supermarkets, stadiums, etc. The platform enables a higher survival rate at cardiac arrests, yet at the same time, it provides a razor/razorblade business model unseen in this area.

Vi produserer karbon-nanofiber (CNF) gjennom anvendelse av ny banebrytende teknologi. CO2 er vår viktigste innsatsfaktor – og vi bidrar således samtidig til å løse en global miljøutfordring. CNF blir fremstilt gjennom en kjemisk prosess som separerer CO2 molekylet til sine to bestanddeler, karbon og oksygen. CNF har unike egenskaper, og benyttes i dag blant annet ved produksjon av batterier og som byggemateriale. Markedsprisen på CNF er høy – og tilgangen på produktet har frem til nå vært begrenset globalt. I 2015 ble det omsatt CNF for rundt 10 milliarder NOK globalt. Anvendelse av produktet er sterkt stigende – og ny teknologi som vi besitter gjør det mulig å optimalisere produksjonen, og således sikre en stabil tilførsel av CNF til markedet. Bergen Carbon Solutions (BCS) ble etablert i 2016 basert på en bacheloroppgave ved Høyskolen på Vestlandet. Forskningen bak oppgaven ble tildelt «Klimaprisen» ved høyskolen, samt «NITO-prisen» for det arbeidet som har det mest innovative potensial. Forskningen er senere verifisert av Sintef på oppdrag fra BCS.

Om prosjektet – fra slam til brenselDet skal bygges og utvikles et mobilt prosessanlegg som gjør slam/avfall fra havbruksnæringen om til brennbart materiale.Brenselet vil det ha et stort potensiale i sementproduksjon eller fjernvarmeanlegg. Vi vil også selge tørket slam tilbake til havbruksnæringen/oppdrettsanlegg som energi. Prosjektet er i oppstartsfasen og skal ha fokus på teknologiutvikling, samt etablering av løsninger for slamhåndtering, mat- og bioavfall.Våre kunder er klekkerier, smoltanlegg, testanlegg i sjø (lukkede merder), sementproduksjon, fjernvarmeanlegg. Vi har og det samme segmentet i utlandsmarkedet.

I am Currently Looking to expand my upcoming Scandinavian fashion brand. I started sewing as a hobby, but last year I quit my job to make my hobby my full-time job. The Concept is about simple silhouettes and designs but makes Them multifunctional in special materials. My Handmade, one-of-a-kind pieces and theme, have Found a working segment and client group, and the brand is growing fast at the moment. It has come to a point where the sales keep increasing, and I have too much to organize all by myself. I have a bachelor's degree in fashion design and modelling. For upcoming future plans, I have a sew- and design book Coming up; in collaboration With the Norwegian book-publishing firm Aschehoug, we Are making a book about my concept, sewing patterns, inspiration and fashion. This book will be ready in September. I also have a collaboration involving a catwalk show With my Handmade pieces in Oslo this summer, and a design job, sewing pieces for a Norwegian artist for a summer tour and tv show.
