Natursnø fra november til mai og vi tilbyr skiløyper i verdensklasse rett utenfor de flotte leilighetene som kan leies på Jakobsbakken. Emberly is a Stavanger-based startup founded in 2020. The company was born out of a desire to help people learn better and to help them manage information overload. Our product is a knowledge library, but in contrast to other solutions, we help you organize your knowledge into what we call "knowledge maps". Traditional solutions based on tags and search are not adequate due to the simple fact that it requires using the language center of the brain, this requires you to break your chain of thought before you can even start looking for your resources. Emberly in contrast, lets you use spatial navigation to find what you are looking for. Which is far more efficient.Not to mention the fact that by creating and using this breakdown of topics, you automatically gain a far better understanding of the concepts you are working on. We have been working tightly knit with our community for two years to help us make Emberly the best experience it can be, and we officially released the system in 2022.

This gives a better foundation in communication and helps increase the quality of life for the user. Our philosophy is to use "everyday technology" such as tablets/phones and cloud-based solutions and develop highly intuitive and dynamic tools for the network. Users (people with special and complex needs) therefore do not need to acquire skills or knowledge in order to use our systems. This makes it easier for those who have great cognitive challenges to make use of our technological solutions.

Nordic Electrofuel offers a solution for the rapid transition from fossil to renewable electrical energy for all transport sectors. It is based on the conversion of renewable electric energy into liquid electro-fuels that can be as easily transported, stored, and used as conventional fossil hydrocarbons. It also provides a good solution to distribute and store stranded electrical energy. PTL (Power To Liquid) has been considered too expensive, but with the low electricity price in Norway and new efficient processing and upgrading solutions, it has become commercially feasible. Electrification of transportation is required to avoid catastrophic climate change. Battery- or cable-electric solutions are not feasible for transport like aviation and long-distance marine transport. Liquid energy carriers such as biofuels are desperately needed but limited. The fuel is free of sulfur and can therefore be used maritime industry as a fuel after 2022. The fuel emits much fewer particles and aromatics than conventional fossil fuel, so it also solves the local pollution problem. Competitive advantages: • Norway’s low electricity price from hydro and lately also wind power. • 20 - 30 % lower electricity consumption than with existing technology • Lower production price than advanced biofuels • Agreements in place for a site at Herøya, which has all utilities (cooling water, cheap renewable electricity, etc.) and processing expertise available. • About the same source to shaft efficiency as hydrogen, but with much lower total CAPEX due to no investment in distribution systems and engines.
