FASK founder Aarseth has worked as seaman in many years, the last years offshore and within anchorhandling. He came from goods/bulk trade and older secondhand vessel types to a offshore environment with new and modern vessels with top equipment of all categories onboard. It was therefore nearly  a shock-experience for him, when he at his first rig-move and this up to date working environment,  observed working methods associated with the stone-age while performing the opening of kenterlinks. Aarseth thought to himself that this operation seemed dangerous and cumbersome. He thought of his own sons working in this industry, and felt that this needed a better solution. That thought was the beginning of the kenter link opener, and Fask Tools. Aarseth came in contact with Statoil and Havila, who were immediately interested, but that required testing of this then unknown tool in  safe environment before testing/operation offshore. Testing was performed onshore by Kongsberg Devotek and later offshore and in operation onboard the Havila Mars.

The alternative today if you do not own a garden yourself is to sign up for allotment garden through the municipality. In Oslo the allotment from the municipality has a waiting time of atleast 20 years. The waiting time is far too long on today’s alternatives for growing. After corona the interest for growing vegetables has been booming. We tackle this problem by letting people who own a garden rent it out to these people that want to grow, but do not have the space themselves.

That's why we have developed a reuse-platform for furniture, including a marketplace for the professional furniture market, making it incredibly easy for businesses, interior architects, and other stakeholders to sell their furniture while also simplifying the process of purchasing used furniture for interior projects, as well as making old furniture look new again.
