Wavefoil er en maritim startup med mål om å redusere drivstofforbruk og CO2-utslipp fra internasjonal skipsfart. We use new technology to reintroduce the doctor house call, offering a platform to connect patients with doctors in the same area. Patients can see a qualified doctor in the comfort of their home, when it suits them. Doctors can manage their own time, and have the admin support they need to focus their time on the patients. We founded Metaito in February 2019, after spending more than four years at NTNU. The initial idea was sparked in 2014 when we discovered the challenge of organizing our resources as students. BRIM offers next generation ships for silent, sustainable tourism and eco friendly adventures.   Brim means ‘breaking wave’ in Old Norse. We provide wave breaking, silent and sustainable ocean excursions in Northern Norway on board the silent electric ship Brim Explorer. Brim Explorer sails in complete silence and emission-free with batteries powered by clean local hydropower. By respecting nature, she allows us to get a little bit closer, and we use an underwater drone and hydrophone to capture wildlife both above and below the surface. Brim Explorer is designed especially for sightseeing in Arctic waters. Three decks and two indoor salons offer panoramic views and comfortable seating for over 100 passengers. The short story: We're a Norwegian contech startup and we're prefabricating rebar cages with robotics. The long story: Rebartek was founded in 03/2018. In our first year, we have grown our team to 10 members with a wide range of backgrounds from different industries. We are developing a ground-breaking solution for the construction industry. Our robots manufacture steel reinforcement cages that are used in concrete structures. We are developing a highly automated service that starts at the design of the cages and ends with the delivery of the cages to the construction site. Today almost all rebar welding and tying is done manually by humans. This is dangerous, time-consuming and physically brutal work. We want to provide an optimized solution for manufacturing rebar, with an added bonus of tailored models and a streamlined administrative workflow.  Our philosophy is to take a lot of small steps quickly.
