We founded Metaito in February 2019, after spending more than four years at NTNU. The initial idea was sparked in 2014 when we discovered the challenge of organizing our resources as students. Since then, we have gone through several iterations of prototypes. We created a platform for organizing and sharing tools, links and documents on the Internet - Factsplat. As of Q3 2024, we have several paying customers, investors, raised amount of 5 467 041 NOK, almost 6,000 users of the platform, contracts with various non-governmental organizations, 19 sports teams on board as our partners, a solid team, and a working product. Factsplat has evolved into a platform designed to help users manage their digital lives efficiently. Our mission is to give individuals and organizations control over their online resources, ensuring they are organized, accessible, and shareable, thereby reducing distractions and improving focus. We want to create a distraction free environment where you can organize the internet in a way that makes sense to you, while utilizing the strengths of the community. It's an enjoyable board game where players are forced to make difficult choices without risking their life savings or the future of their workplaces. The worst case scenario is a humiliating defeat at the hands of your colleagues (quite scary, actually). Playing Lean is a new physical board game designed to teach the concepts and mechanics of Lean Startup in a class or workshop setting. Playing Lean was awarded the Nordic Crowdfunding Alliance "Best Norwegian Crowdfunding Campaign Award" in the Educational Products and Services category 2016.
