Startup Extreme was created by passionated founders in 2015, with the goal of showcasing the Norwegian startup scene to the world. Seven years on, Norway has a rapidly growing startup ecosystem, Increased international interest, and three new unicorns in 2021 alone. So we feel that it is now time for Startup Extreme to also evolve and work towards something bigger – a new mission: To help build a more connected startup ecosystem. We believe that true connections don’t happen in office meeting rooms, on video calls, or at traditional events and conferences; but when people are put in situations that allow them to be real, authentic, and a little outside of their comfort zones. So what better arena to meet upcoming startup founders, eager investors, and curious corporations, who all share a passion for the startup ecosystem? ‍ We are all about the startup community and developing bonds that go deep — natural connections that are almost spiritual. Essentially we — being a startup ourselves — build events that we’d love to attend.

Einka Økonomi' solution aims to prevent financial stress by providing knowledge, coaching and necessary tools to address the effect financial difficulties can have on life areas such as mental health, legal disputes and family economy planning. EINKA wants to be a completely neutral information channel, that employers can rely on to bring their employees closer to financial wellness. We are developing a knowledge hub that will help users in differing financial situations, building a tailor-made journey comprising of interactive financial tools, tutorials, strategy guides and virtual coaching with the purpose of achieving greater financial wellness for the user and increased productivity as a result - for the business. Our preliminary research has shown us that in the first quarter of 2019, the total amount of claims amounted to NOK 1 billion in Norwegian debt collection cases. In August of 2019, NAV stated that eight per cent of Norwegian employees had forced salary deductions. Personal economy subjects are not obligatory within the Norwegian schooling system, rather most people are educated on these topics via banks and other financial institutions, or often through following in their family's footsteps. This results in a knowledge gap and a hurdle for social mobility. As social entrepreneurs we have seen that nothing is being done to alleviate these problems in an effective way, so we have decided to take a stance, and commit to being the solution. Our solution will positively impact your business through helping to alleviate the stresses that come with poor financial wellbeing. A number of studies have shown direct links between financial stress and poor physical and mental health. It affects the individual, their family and loved ones and their businesses. At Counting Hero we develop cutting edge machine vision systems, capable of recognizing and classifying items and events in videos and images. Counting Hero AS was established in September 2019 and is currently running development projects. We have our first pilots in deployment. Organization count 3 persons. One on full time and two on part time. For 2020 we will grow the organization and to complete first investment round. We are currently funded by sales, innovation norway support, project grant from the norwegian research council and sweat equity from owners. Counting Hero is located with offices in Bergen, Norway. JET Seafood AS  has developed, owns and operate the www.seafoodportal.com, a digitalised marketplace for seafood trading and belonging services. The company was founded late 2017 and have won several business competitions in Bergen as the most promising start-up company. We are a seafood tech company with the aim of doing the sales of B2B seafood both more efficient and at a lower cost.  The JET Seafood culture has three key pillars to lean on: Passionate: We are passionate about our product, our collegues and our customers.  Reliable: The customers should trust our product, collegues trust each other and we all walk our talk. Innovative: We are disrupting a traditional industry. If we want our customers to be innovative, so should we. Det var for noen år tilbake stor produksjon av solcellemoduler i Norge. Norske REC hadde produksjon av komplette solcellemoduler både i Glomfjord og Narvik. Begge i Nordland. I 2011 kom bl.a. østlige produsenter på banen og presset prisene betydelig på kort tid. Dette så mye at REC ble nødt til å flagge ut produksjonen fra Norge. Igjen stod det mye god kompetanse. Bare i Narvik jobbet oppunder 300 personer med solcelleproduksjon. Det var, og er fremdeles, et forskningsmiljø på solcelleteknologi i Narvik. Det var ifm denne utflaggingen fra REC at Solbes AS oppstod. Vi kan dermed skilte med å være den bedriften i Norge som har noe av den beste kompetansen som er å oppdrive, samt en av aktørene som har vært lengst i markedet. Dette er vi stolte av! ​Vi har ansatte både med mastergrad og doktorgrad innen solcellesystemer.  Som en bil ikke er en bil, og en ost ikke er en ost, så er heller ikke et solcellepanel et solcellepanel. Comlight is a Norwegian company specializing in energy saving streetlight solutions and is a commercial technology provider on the international market. For Comlight, the question is how to solve the problem of pointless energy waste in fully illuminated roads at times when there is no traffic. The answer is the Motion Sensing Street Light Control System, an energy saving technology that illuminates only when and where it is actually needed, without compromising the safety. The system features a radar detector on each light pole that senses all activity that requires optimal lighting on the road or in the area. When movement is detected by the closest street light, the light turns on to a full 100 per cent, allowing full sight and turns down to 20 per cent for energy saving when no one is around. The system has been tested by the Norwegian Public Road Authority and is represented in thousands of light points across Europe. Comlight is constantly expanding through its distribution partners. The system suits roads/streets, parks, large industrial areas and residential areas. Comlight sells to commercial distributors and is continuously working to find distribution partners that match its environmental values and future plans.

Adall makes it easier for SMB to work with privacy by mapping and providing an overview of personal data processing to businesses, progress plan for work to be done, and explanations of how the tasks are designed. The software will also be an advisor for firms using it. Our focus is particularly ion the mportant help and support to get ahead of the new GDPR Privacy Policy. But Adall will also be helping with other regulations, laws, and demands.  We are a young team who wants to make a difference, by making it easier being and running a SME firm. We are working with new technology, open minds, and a courage. Nina, the founder, has a bachelor's degree in computer science and are now a student at NTNU's School of Entrepreneurship.
