Onboard Norway

Onboard Norway bistår bedrifter og organisasjoner som flytter utenlandske spesialister til Norge. Vi bistår med alt det praktiske man må tenke på når man flytter til et nytt land; immigrasjonspapirer, registrering hos politi og skattemyndigheter, finner bolig, ordner med bankkonto osv. Vi jobber med spennende bedrifter og organisajsjoner som ansetter veldig interessante folk fra hele verden. Det gjør at vi i det daglige har med masse fantastiske folk å gjøre. Målet er å gjøre prosessen med flytting til Norge så smooth som mulig slik at disse spesialistene kan flytte hit uten bekymringer - fokusert på sin nye jobb og sitt nye liv i Norge fra dag én! Selv om konseptet ble startet opp allerede i 2009 har Onboard Norway gått inn i en ny fase som Startup med satsning innen flere nye service-områder og nye geografiske områder. Vi driver fleksibelt og er i en typisk "Start-up: Scale-up" fase.

Siffer

I Siffer jobber vi hardt for å levere revolusjonerende teknologi til regnskapsførere. Siden stiftelse i 2019 har vi sammen med regnskapsbyråer laget og lansert vårt regnskapssystem. Disse byråene er i dag våre partnere. I 2021 ble flere byråer med på eiersiden, og det har gitt oss muskler til å utfordre det etablerte!

Our goal is to become the go-to-place for people in need of electrical services by providing the easiest and safest way to get the job done. With SpotOn you order online, get a fixed price instantly and the job done by handpicked pros at a time that suits you. We're an in-house startup backed by one of Norway’s fastest growing companies; Elektroimportøren, a wholesaler of electrical equipment who disrupted their industry by selling directly to end consumers both online and in over 20 retail stores across Norway. Working as a startup and building on our parent company’s strengths and infrastructure has enabled us to scale fast and make our service available to over 70% of Norwegian households. The Problem Our research show that people feel stress just thinking about hiring an electrician and that many struggle to even get started. The main reason being that they don’t know who to contact and what it will cost them to get the job done. But they are also worried because of stories they hear of poor results or misleading prices leading to surprises when the invoice arrives. As a consequence they’ll ask friends or family for recommendations to avoid making the wrong choice. Lack of trust and clarity around pricing creates uncertainty and often leads people to postpone contacting an electrician until absolutely necessary. They learn to live with suboptimal solutions because getting the job done requires too much effort. And when they finally decided to hire an electrician they often experience the person not arriving at the agreed time, and without the necessary equipment to get the job done. The frustration reaches its boiling point when they then have to pay for the extra time needed to drive and pick up the equipment. Our Solution We have digitized the whole process of hiring an electrician, creating a seamless journey from need to end result and a superior booking experience that puts the customer in the driving seat. 01 Instant Fixed Price We’ve built a job-configurator with an inbuilt price calculator making it possible for customers to get a fixed price instantly by answering a few simple questions. This way our customers get’s a price in advance and no surprises when it’s time to pay. 02 Free Video Inspection In addition to our simple job-configurator our customers can book a free video inspection the next day. We’ve hired a team of electricians and built a digital inspection tool making it possible to create and send offers with a fixed price within 24 hours. 03 Handpicked Pros We’ve handpicked pros from Elektroimportøren’s already established network of contractors across the country. This way our customers don’t need to spend time finding a trustworthy electrician and can feel safe knowing the job will be done by qualified professionals. 04 When it Suits You We’ve built a scheduling system from scratch that allows our customers to choose when they want the job done. They simply pick a time and date in our digital calendar and the job is automatically delegated to one of our electricians in the area. 05 Efficient installation We’ve utilised the retail stores across the country to streamline logistics and make installations efficient. We pack and send the electrical equipment in advance so the electricians have all they need, removing unnecessary time spent driving and picking up equipment. 06 Industry-leading Guaranty All our customer are given the opportunity to evaluate their experience after the job is done. If the result is not as promised we fix it free of cost. Our customers can feel safe knowing we take full responsibility with our industry-leading SpotOnGuaranty. 07 Simple Payment When the job is done and the customers are happy they get to choose how they want to pay. Using Klarna we provide our customer with flexibility and the opportunity to either pay now with card, or later with invoice or instalments.

Speedfriending

Speedfriending is a Scandinavian startup aiming to create social arenas where strangers meet, talk and friend zone each other. We want to simplify connecting to the social grid, wherever you are. We have recently launched our Speedfriending app, while organizing events all over Norway, Denmark and Australia. We are looking for someone who loves challenges, has a can-do-attitude, and who recognize the great impact this can have in eliminating loneliness and friendzoning the world. Waved is developing solutions to help restaurants, bars, hotels, and retail create a better atmosphere for their guests. Happy guests stay longer and spend more. By using IoT sensors to analyze the human-made noise, Waved automatically adjusts the music volume to a perfect level - no matter the circumstances. We make the restaurant and hospitality experience better, no more shouting to hold a conversation - the background music will always balanced. WHY WAVED? THE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE The goal of restaurants, bars and other eating and drinking venues is to provide the best customer experience possible. The customer’s well-being is directly linked to the amount of money spent during their stay and the likelihood that they will return. THE IMPORTANCE OF SOUND Research has shown that a well composed sound environment has direct impact on how the guest’s overall experience and even how the taste of the food and drinks are perceived. LARGE INVESTMENTS IN SOUND EQUIPMENT Most restaurants and bars know how important the sound environment is for a good customer experience and it is common to spend thousands of dollars on sound equipment. WHAT DECIDES THE VOLUME? The volume is usually controlled manually by waiters or bartenders in-between their other duties. Lack of information and knowledge of the customers perception often lead to poor volume level decisions. THE SOLUTION IS WAVED Wall-mounted sensors are placed around the venue and listens to the sound environment. Waved’s brain is build around our self-developed algorithm. It has the ability to understand and evaluate the sound environment and is used to set the perfect sound volume in order to maximise the customer experience.

Variment hjelper helse-og-utdanningstjenester å rekruttere fremtidige medarbeidere og redusere praksissjokk gjennom realistiske jobbsimuleringer. Variment (Propl AS) ble opprettet i 2021 for å gjøre rekrutterings-og-opplæringsprosessen mer engasjerende og inkluderende gjennom teknologi og innovasjon. Teamet består av CEO Mai Phan, CTO Khanh Pham og UX Researcher Sriramya Juttiga. Vi har også mentorer og rådgiver med erfaring i organisasjonspsykologi, HR, strategi og kunstig intelligens fra OsloMet Universitetet, Novo Nordisk, Arctic Grouse, Ophiolite og DNB.

At the same time we have already have an impressive ''bank of materials'' available in the cities, namely in our buildings. By mapping and understanding the amount, quality and accessibility of these materials we can better plan for the future. We can decrease the pressure on new materials and create a circular building industry. AGAIN X provides a top down approach to mapping existing buildings, their content and status, by using aggregated data and machine learning. Our SaaS platform will give better KPIs(Key Performance Indicators) to real estate investors and managers. The KPIs will help them make more sustainable long-term decisions; better for their wallet and better for the planet.
