Finance Innovation is an association and innovation cluster of banks, financing companies, insurance companies, tech companies and educational and research institutions working on the financial services and solutions of tomorrow.   The cluster has set ambitious goals on innovation, growth and value creation, and aim to increase export of Norwegian fintech to international and global markets.    Our project builds on regional business cluster dynamics, has a national scope and a global ambition.

Podbike has developed a fully enclosed and street-worthy e-bike, that gives you the freedom to ride comfortably 365 days a year. // The problem // Today half of all car journeys are shorter than 5 km and can easily be replaced by cycling. Using a two-ton car, even if electric, is inefficient for short distances. It is resource intensive, pollutes, creates congestions and you do not get any exercise. European Green Deal states that a 90% reduction in transport emissions is needed by 2050 to be climate neutral – calling for green mobility solutions, especially in and close to cities. // Our solution // Podbike has created a practical, safe and sustainable 4-wheeled e-bike with room for cargo or your child. An e-bike that offers freedom and comfort in any weather. No license necessary and you can use the bike lanes. It is small, easy to charge and park. You avoid stressful traffic jams and get light exercise while minimizing your environmental footprint. It makes your daily commute a joy. Compared to a car it has a fraction of the environmental footprint both during production and in use.

Societec develops processes and ICT tools called Friskus, for a systematically and integrated volunteership, with focus on meaningful activities and user accomplishment. Friskus is a user-friendly social network platform with a companion app for municipalities and non-profit organizations to collaborate, connect and communicate with volunteers. Have a look at our website to see what else we are up to!

Folkelig is a social entrepreneur that delivers well structured and effective public health projects for public sector, private sector and NGOs. Our goal is to reduce socioeconomical differences in health, and create sustainable and  health promoting communities. Epigram is a machine learning company based in Oslo, Norway. We’re currently solving machine learning problems for companies in Norway, but aim to create our own product in the not so distant future. Epigram was founded in February 2017 by previous and current students at the Department of Informatics at the University of Oslo (IFI). Today we count six full-time employees, and one part-time student.

Boxn is an insulated and electronically locked home delivery point for mail, parcels and even groceries, to private households. Automated communication with the distributor, supplier and end customer means you no longer have to be at home to receive your delivery.We have received funds from Forny Student and great feedback from multiple distributors and suppliers in Norway. The timing is good as the growth in home deliveries of food is imposing changes in the mindset of the receivers of goods.  We're passionate about taking home deliveries into the century of online shopping, and use entrepreneurial guts to change the way the value chain for home deliveries work today. If you have ever ordered something online and let yourself get annoyed over either having to go to the local post shop or scheduling multiple hours at home in order to receive the delivery, then maybe you should join us?
