Startup Extreme

Startup Extreme was created by passionated founders in 2015, with the goal of showcasing the Norwegian startup scene to the world. Seven years on, Norway has a rapidly growing startup ecosystem, Increased international interest, and three new unicorns in 2021 alone. So we feel that it is now time for Startup Extreme to also evolve and work towards something bigger – a new mission: To help build a more connected startup ecosystem. We believe that true connections don’t happen in office meeting rooms, on video calls, or at traditional events and conferences; but when people are put in situations that allow them to be real, authentic, and a little outside of their comfort zones. So what better arena to meet upcoming startup founders, eager investors, and curious corporations, who all share a passion for the startup ecosystem? ‍ We are all about the startup community and developing bonds that go deep — natural connections that are almost spiritual. Essentially we — being a startup ourselves — build events that we’d love to attend.

The Digital Gardener

The Digital Gardener is a planning tool and gardening community for small-scale vegetable producers and home gardeners. We help growers plan what to grow, as well as when, where and how to grow it, so that they can focus on making their plants thrive. The demand for locally produced, sustainable food is increasing. Despite this, small-scale vegetable producers struggle to make an income. Predictable supply is essential to make efficient use of available market channels for direct to consumer sales, and a good plan is a key prerequisite to achieve this. The Digital Gardener aims to help small scale producers achieve the needed predictability by making it easy to create and maintain a good plan, and by helping them keep on top of work to be done throughout the growing season. The interest in gardening and homesteading has also surged during the corona crisis. Unfortunately, many aspiring home gardeners lack the needed growing competence to succeed with their gardening projects. Ambitious homesteaders face similar challenges as professional growers, as they need a good plan to ensure that they can harvest fresh produce for their family throughout the season. The Digital Gardener aims to help all growers succeed with their gardening projects, and will enable them to share information and experience to help and inspire others to succeed as well. The Digital Gardener is a software company. Our goal is to build software that contributes to an increase in the amount of food that is grown locally, as well as increased biodiversity in green spaces and home gardens. We partner with other organisations, people and companies that provide competence, heirloom seeds, tools and methods that can help us achieve this goal.

Acterio AS

The innovation ecosystem plays a crucial role in the success of startups, but these ecosystems are facing operational and strategic obstacles that limit their potential. The operational difficulties include an inability to effectively support startups leading to high failure rates, low engagement from startups, and resource-intensive reporting processes. On the strategic front, innovation ecosystems face intense competition and struggle to scale their efforts and establish sustainable business models, which often rely heavily on government funding. These challenges impact a wide range of players in the ecosystem, including incubators, accelerators, universities, and enterprise innovation departments. Addressing these challenges can lead to a thriving startup ecosystem, boosting economic growth and driving progress. By investing in the solution of these significant problems, the innovation ecosystem has the potential to unleash its full potential and drive positive change.

sprove

𝘀𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 (powered by goscore) is a solvency verification service that helps: - landlords find a great tenant, - tenants stand out among many other tenants to get a great rental offer. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀: - 40% overdue rent payments; - 30% money loss; - 49% don't use their landlords' rights. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗯𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲: - better and cheaper than ordinary credit checks; - choose only tenants with ability to pay; - see a list of potential tenants for all your rental ads in one place; - reduce the number of troubled tenants; - protect yourself from damage and eviction problems with your tenant. 𝟱 𝗯𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝘀𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸: 𝟭) 𝘀𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗶𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲, while an ordinary credit check shows data from the last year (or even the year before last). We understand that landlords want to see the current financial situation of the tenant, rather than last year. That's why we provide more relevant and accurate information. 𝟮) 𝘀𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘇𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗺𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗽𝗮𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 for each tenant. This ensures that the tenant has a good rental history (if exists) at the moment. 𝟯) 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲, 𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝘁'𝘀 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 №𝟭. That's why we provide only the result of the verification to the landlord: whether a potential tenant fits the criteria for a rental ad or not. We don't share any piece of financial sensitive information. 𝟰) 𝘀𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘆-𝘁𝗼-𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀, and not just a credit score. We understand that landlords only want to know the answer: yes or no. They don't want to understand the credit scale and think which credit score is good, which is not, and how this correlates with the tenant's ability to pay. 𝟱) 𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲. sprove provides not only the result but also a service where landlords can see the list of potential tenants for all their rental ads in one place. 𝘀𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲.𝗺𝗲 - 𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆!
