Vandre

Vandre is a young Norwegian tech company with the ambition to impact the environmental situation by making textile brands succeed in reducing their footprint by making clothes and garments live longer. The world’s garbage piles are growing. In 2021, 40.000 tons of used fashion clothes ended up in the Atacama desert in Chile as their final destination. This is just one example of how the textile industry is not even close to being sustainable. The sports and textile industries face strict requirements and a major upheaval, when the EU is planning to introduce sustainability reporting and requirements to offer consumers repair of products in 2025. Our platform connects brands in the industry with certified repair centres and facilitates a seamless user journey with logistics and payment options. The platform is also a sought-after tool at repair centres, as it helps to make their daily operations more efficient. We have currently launched in Norway, and plan to expand to the rest of the Nordics and beyond in the future. Our HQ is in a co-working space office in downtown Oslo – a two-minute walk from Nationaltheatret, where we share office with a small PE fund, and have lunch break together with. We also have employees in other cities working remotely. As a small team, some of us are quite often on the go and strive to stick to our digital workplace practices as much as possible. This enables the whole team to work quite flexibly when needed, together with some well-appreciated face time at the office as often as possible. Today the team is communicating openly using Slack and ClickUp to organise daily work and product development. There you will feel the motivating and active vibe from the other team members, our CEO Henriette, and our always-on-the-go working Chairman and brand relationship manager Simen. We are still a small team, but team spirit we have and everyone is highly motivated to make a difference in the world and help grow Vandre to reach it's full potential. Our culture is built on trust, freedom and humour. As most team members work from home most of the time, we always strive to be available during the working hours, and prioritise weekly meetings to stimulate the team spirit being a partly remote team. In addition we believe in a high level of freedom for each colleague to find their own optimal w/l balance. Prioritising a run before lunch or picking up kids in the afternoon is all up to the individual colleague. You know best what works for you. Finally our culture is also characterised by a high level of humour, with lots of laughs and a good vibe between team members. Our team today consists of passionate and skilled people representing deep industry knowledge and experience. Kvist Solutions AS

Empowering construction projects ​to make a sustainable impact​, with human centric technology. Building sustainable is difficult. Today, building sustainable involves unstructured, unscalable and time-consuming processes. Drowned in paperwork and documentation, experts waste time on mundane and frustrating tasks instead of exploiting their expertise. Kvist makes the first complete digital system for sustainability reporting for construction projects. By delivering a cloud-based software that makes it really easy for projects to collect, validate and analyse environmental data, we remove friction in the unstructured processes that occur when choosing to build sustainable. Lower costs​. Lower risks​. Greener cities​. With big names among our customers and backed by investors like Alliance Venture, Arkwright X, DNB and Startuplab, we are well on our way to grow full speed. We are a relatively young team of currently 14 people, spread across expertise areas with a mix of engineering, developers, customer success and business development, some coming directly from university and others with a background in the industry. We have a very nice office at a co-working space in the very centre of Oslo, surrounded by both small startups and some established companies, and there is great and low-priced canteen, where we have lunch. We have access to many meeting rooms and facilities when you need silence, but also a great young and dynamic environment, where things are happening all the time. Our culture is fully flexible, meaning that everyone is allowed to work from home when needed, but as a small team we also enjoy working together, and most of us prefer to come to the office. We are a very social team, which easily comes when being small, and we do a lot of activities together like team dinners, Friday bars etc., but it is also fully accepted to skip and go home, when parts of the team decide to go for Karaoke at 1am. We have room for every kind of person, so you decide what you want to join.

REPAIRABLE COMMUNITY

There are too few products repaired, and e.g. clothes therefore have a short lifespan and end up as waste before their time. Brands have a producer responsibility for the entire life cycle of the products they put on the market, and must contribute to the product's increased lifespan to avoid waste production. However, they do not have global scalable solutions for this, but have inefficient expensive and manual processes (difficult to communicate around) which make most employees avoid repairs, and would rather give a new product, or the money back. Whether they offer repair is challenging. There are no global solutions that collect repair data for learning and improving design. Consumers have, always!, 1 or more garments awaiting repair, but the service is not available in the correct format. Repairers have challenges in scaling, employing and growing their company into a modernized service offer and a more predictable and appealing "call to action". The problem is common because we have developed habits influenced by "Planned obsolescence". The problem we solve are solved firstly for brands and retailers. Consumers are asking for products with a longer lifespan, and the European Commission is doing the same. Branded goods will in the future HAVE to repair complaints if it is not cheaper to give a new one. In practice, consumers will expect repairs from responsible parties. The brands are global and do not have a system for complaints and repair management, which is easy to communicate internally and externally. Secondly, consumers have broken products, but poor access to certified repairers outside the city centres, and too little information and management of expectations. Local services that brands back, and transport solutions increase accessibility and use and extend the customer relationship with brand. For the repairers, digitization offers opportunities for scaling, interaction with more people in a more efficient way, learning, as well as the capacity to use digital customized products and better purchasing conditions. We develop an API, a plug and play solution for the landing pages of manufacturers, brands and retailers. It is a "white labelled" fully integrated saas API, similar to how brands have integrations for payment and logistics. Then all stakeholders have a common point, for inquiries about damaged products, and the API supports the producer responsibility scheme/compliance. All product-level data will be collected here for feedback and improvements in design as well as sustainability reporting. Complaints are handled automatically through a decision tree linked to regulations. It makes customer service more efficient. Different transport solutions/delivery addresses with different costs will be offered. Local repairers will be certified and, with a simple interface, will receive more assignments from more customers. They will have a structure behind them that can help professionalize the operation as well as respond to the EU's requirements for documentation. Consumers will get fixed prices, predictability in the service and the possibility of personalisation.

We provide experiences for drone pilots (DroneMask series), movie enthusiasts (MovieMask series), and Augmented Reality fans (MagiMask). Our current focus is on the DroneMask, where our lens gives drone pilots the ultimate first-person view camera drone experience. Our high-quality patented lens powers all our products.

Niuton AS

Niuton is a deep tech platform that works on autonomous and decentralized solutions based on Newtonian principles and our end customers are hedge funds. Currently, we have a team of five people, the tech dev and research stretches three years back and we have been with one year live with clients. Now we are looking for a senior python specialist to automate the data flow in and out of our core machinery. The data feed into Niutons machinery is from Twelvedata and the output is clients around the world. For the right candidate, we can consider offering 0.5% of shares equity (valuation right now 7.5 million USD), you will be assisted by our other senior python specialist that handles the core machinery itself. The expected duration of this assignment is three to four months ONLY. Start date 1. January 2022. Resources have to be available 100% of the time during the assignment, most preferably in Oslo. The MVP is ready, Niuton is now exactly what we want, and the success criterion is achieving 99% uptime on a day-to-day basis.

DIG Science AS

Dig Science increases certainty in oil & gas exploration by using Artificial Intelligence as a de-risk factor for geological interpretation. A new dawn is upon the oil & gas industry. Recent technology advances combined with increased computer capacity is disrupting conventional workflows in the industry. A new mindset is allowing geoscientists to join forces with data scientists, thereby enabling the industry to develop more integrated and powerful machine learning algorithms. These will contribute to a higher exploration success rate and improved oil recovery.
