CL-Invest is an investment company based in Oslo, Norway with a team of experts with decades of experience in project finance, assessment, and development. ​We work in partnership with National Oil Companies (NOCs) and independent oil producers to realize scalable emission reductions that can be achieved rapidly. Our mission is immediate climate action through the elimination of financial barriers with a focus on methane and flare reduction projects in emerging economies. CL-invest is presently developing several methane and flare abatement projects in Nigeria and Azerbaijan with current expansion into Iraq, Venezuela, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Oman, and Iran among other countries underway. CL-Invest offers a full-service solution including project identification and assessment, project financing, implementation, verification and monitoring as well as High-Quality carbon credit development and sales. We leverage strong international partners to help manage all activities of this project cycle. The company was founded through a de-merger of Carbon Limits AS in 2021 whereby CL-Invest now subcontracts Carbon Limits to provide technical advisory and consulting services to CL-Invest and indirectly to its clients. To date, our total impact equates to 9.2 million tons of CO2e removed and approximately 70 million euros of carbon credit finance generated. Between 2022 and 2030, CL-Invest plans to initiate more than 200 projects and achieve a total carbon emission reduction equivalent to 61.4 million tCO2e. Annual estimated emission reductions on our existing projects are ​800 000 tCO2e in 2022 and 1 million tCO2e in 2023. CL-Invest is currently in the process of establishing strategic partnerships with international players who have complementary expertise and resources to assist the company in ensuring a rapid upscaling of the business. We are in the final stages of securing outside investment capital from major industry players to support our growth trajectory to be publicly announced shortly. I owned a small leather goods business in Australia which broke even and was gaining consistent orders before I had to choose to either continue or relocate to Norway with my day job. I am building Kørt because, in my corporate career, I was traveling internationally regularly but could never find the bag that did all the functions I needed. Travel size laptop bag, great for in the board room and customer meetings, easy to take around while exploring the city I was in, and could also take me to a bar or black tie event, and then become a backpack to take on the plane when I was flying home the next day. In all my travels I didn't find anything, so I created it myself. I am building my company right from the start. I am fully focused on the entire supply chain of my materials and manufacturing. High-quality cargo bikes and high-tech solutions for urban mobility. Bogbi is a  Norwegian-Colombian startup that produces cargo bikes in Bogota for the national and international markets with a strong integrated social impact. Our bikes are handmade by Norwegian industrial designer Johannes Hegdahl and Colombian engineer David Duarte, as well as excellent welders and other local providers of components and engineering here in Bogota. In all moderation, we are being told that we have developed a world-class product. At Bogbi we want our bikes to contribute to Colombia's future in peace. Together with the Norwegian Refugee Council, and the Colombian company Mejor en Bici we are setting up a pilot -project to provide vocational training for young people involved in the conflict to become welders, entrepreneurs and eventually work with us to develop what we call: bike magic from Colombia. To increase our impact on society and the environment we have teamed up with the Norwegian organization International Development Norway and Innovation Norway. Together we will develop a digital platform for last-mile delivery service. This will enable companies to bring goods from business to business using cargo bikes and create employment for vulnerable groups, as well. We were accepted to apply for Innovation Norway's vision 2030 grants to develop a last-mile delivery service in Bogota and around the world.
