The short story: We're a Norwegian contech startup and we're prefabricating rebar cages with robotics. The long story: Rebartek was founded in 03/2018. In our first year, we have grown our team to 10 members with a wide range of backgrounds from different industries. We are developing a ground-breaking solution for the construction industry. Our robots manufacture steel reinforcement cages that are used in concrete structures. We are developing a highly automated service that starts at the design of the cages and ends with the delivery of the cages to the construction site. Today almost all rebar welding and tying is done manually by humans. This is dangerous, time-consuming and physically brutal work. We want to provide an optimized solution for manufacturing rebar, with an added bonus of tailored models and a streamlined administrative workflow.  Our philosophy is to take a lot of small steps quickly. We embrace failures and learn from them. We like being daring, trying new things and look for opportunities rather than focusing on limitations.  We're hiring! Rebartek needs daring, smart people. Comlight is a Norwegian company specializing in energy saving streetlight solutions and is a commercial technology provider on the international market. For Comlight, the question is how to solve the problem of pointless energy waste in fully illuminated roads at times when there is no traffic. The answer is the Motion Sensing Street Light Control System, an energy saving technology that illuminates only when and where it is actually needed, without compromising the safety. The system features a radar detector on each light pole that senses all activity that requires optimal lighting on the road or in the area. When movement is detected by the closest street light, the light turns on to a full 100 per cent, allowing full sight and turns down to 20 per cent for energy saving when no one is around. The system has been tested by the Norwegian Public Road Authority and is represented in thousands of light points across Europe. Comlight is constantly expanding through its distribution partners. The system suits roads/streets, parks, large industrial areas and residential areas. Comlight sells to commercial distributors and is continuously working to find distribution partners that match its environmental values and future plans.
