EpiGuard AS is an innovative Norwegian Medical Technology Company established in 2015 by a group of doctors at the Oslo University Hospital (OUS) together with co-founders Inven2, Eker Group AS, and Hansen Protection AS. EpiGuard has evolved into a highly skilled knowledge-based company. The business model is to develop and manufacture high-end medical equipment for the safe transport of contagious patients. The products will be distributed globally through strategic partners. Currently, the main product is the medical isolation and transportation system, EpiShuttle. The system is developed by clinical experts at OUS, with first-hand experience in providing advanced treatment and transportation of patients with highly infectious diseases, such as Ebola.

Norwegian Oil & Gas Company was founded in 2016. Nor Oil Tools provide innovative tools to both simplify operations and cut costs without changing your whole process. Allowing you to cut your pipes, reduce your costs and improve your HSE. The Nor Tubular Cutter (NTC 325-10S) is the first tool to be released by Noroiltools and was launched in late 2017.

Based in Kongsberg - the heart of the Subsea Valley - Kongsberg Ferrotech is utilizing world-leading competence to develop the first-ever automated solution, the Oktapous, for riser cleaning, NDT inspection, maintenance (coating), and structural repair (glass/carbon fiber reinforcement). The repair will be performed inside the patented Habitat - allowing for composite repairs subsea and in the splash zone while offering quality as if the repair was performed in a laboratory environment. The Oktapous will offer the client around 50% cost reduction, together with improved quality and significantly reduced HSE risk compare to existing solutions by removing the need for rope access, divers, and ROVs. Kongsberg Ferrotech is partly funded by the Malaysian-based oil and gas company, Petronas Charigali. This ensures us access to the market needs during development, an offshore platform for prototype testing, and the critical first client for market acceptance. Norway’s unique landscape necessitates one of the most extensive tunnel networks in the world. 1800 road and rail tunnels contribute to 9000km of tunnel in Norway. These are inspected manually by eye and on foot, a time-consuming and hazardous process producing only qualitative data on tunnel safety. To combat these issues, Techrail aims to provide an integrated solution that is safer for inspectors, that does not interfere with traffic, and more comprehensively evaluates the safety of tunnels. Our solution enables the measuring the change of a tunnel’s surface over time, which allows tunnel directors to predict maintenance needs and more accurately evaluate the state of their tunnels. A digital paper trail will also aid regulators in overseeing tunnel maintenance. Furthermore, our technology has a large number of secondary uses that provide value such as Building Information Modeling (BIM), tunnel construction, and crack detection.

Workability is a web-based enterprise application empowering leaders to take responsibility for employees workplace welfare and employee follow-up, and allowing employees to be at work as much as their health allows. Sick-leave and workplace welfare is a problem escalating globally. As mental illness and complex health problems rise, new workplace challenges are created. Employers need new tools and practices to help deal with this adequately. Norway has the highest sick leave in the OECD, costing the state and employers over 50 billion kroner each year. 70% of sick leave is avoidable (NAV) and could be prevented through better employee follow-up and workplace facilitation. By solving structural barriers that exist today we help employers co-ordinate efforts with doctors, NAV and other stakeholders to keep people at work and prevent unnecessary sick-leave. Our tools help leaders follow-up their teams, create an open dialogue and an inclusive approach to workplace welfare and how they organise work, key factors in preventing sickness and workplace absence.
