Zirius Kompetanse is a two-year-old company that delivers all training for the users of Zirius ERP.  We specialize in e-learning, but also hold courses at different locations in Norway on the system Zirius, accounting, VAT rules, and changes. As Zirius expands, so do we, so now we also will cover payroll-system, and HR and will make a training program for new hires, etc. We use Moodle as our LMS (Learning Management System), and use a local provider in Lillehammer, who is the only Norwegian Moodle partner.   We also make promo-videoes for Zirius, our customers, and other companies. Zirius Kompetanse started with Sissel Rogne as Manager, and a board consisting of the owners, which is Zirius and a few of the sales offices. I have hired one person for Project Management and video production. I have a vision of doing social entrepreneurship and have a good dialog with NAV. The person I hired came through a training program in NAV and ended up getting a work contract. We have built a good course portfolio, and are ready to start a more active sales process, which we need more marketing funds to do, and we need to upgrade our LMS, make integrations with other sites, and hire one more person to work with course development.

Greenphones provides an end to end solution for to extend the lifetime of mobile phones and tablets. Through the provision of a simple user friendly interface allowing private individuals to trade-in their used phones where the value can either be used for the purchase of an upgraded phone or paid out in cash. We saw a clear need in the market to help the consumer and at the same time reduce the number of new mobiles being introduced into the market. As such for each and every new mobile 'not sold' sold in the market, we reduce the CO2 footprint by approximately 55kg. We estimate that we can extend the lifetime of any mobile between 250% and 300% Inspiration for your startup description There are other firms selling used mobile/tablets, but very few that offer the level of service trade-in value. The founders who previously worked with used IT equipment saw that the used mobile market was also in need of a solution. Norway has the highest sick leave in the OECD, costing the state and employers over 50 billion kroner each year. 70% of sick leave is avoidable (NAV) and could be prevented through better employee follow-up and workplace facilitation. By solving structural barriers that exist today we help employers co-ordinate efforts with doctors, NAV and other stakeholders to keep people at work and prevent unnecessary sick-leave.
