Indo Naturals

Indo Naturals delivers zero-plastic everyday products helping people on the journey to a sustainable lifestyle. The products are made utilizing the vast natural resources of rural India. These resources are often left unused, while millions of people living within the nature, are increasingly getting poorer. Producing plant-based products in India is a unique opportunity to reduce plastic waste from everyday lives in Scandinavia and Norway, while contributing to reduced poverty in rural India. We are a small team of Scandinavians and Indians working across borders to create both a zero-waste brand and a disruption of business as usual. The social purpose of Indo Naturals drives the team forward through the challenges arising when starting a company based on International trade and strong ethical standards. This drive probably comes from our shared love for exploring nature and new cultures, and therefore our strong desire to preserve the oceans, the natural world, and the diversity of the human world society.

Mendo

Mendo is a technology business that creates simple-to-use, web-based systems that facilitate facts-based decision-making. In August 2015, Mendo launched RetailPlanet in Norway as a digital toolbox for place management. The system collects and analyses retail turnover data for a given geographical area and provides its 3500+ users with event benefit analysis, standard reporting and a weekly sales index.

Cognite has a unique starting point and great of momentum on its side. The idea behind Cognite came when I was working on a digitalization project with the industrial conglomerate AKER ASA.  In less than 15 years there will be over 50 billion physical assets and machines connected to the Internet, and over seven billion Internet consumers. The exponential growth of data resulting from the increase in Internet users, combined with machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) will challenge the status quo of across all industries. Nabostylisten is a platform offering beauty services performed at the comfort of your home, office, friends place, nursing home, ANYWHERE. We give buyers a chance to get beauty services performed wherever they are located. We help beauty stylists create a living out of their dreams and to be their own boss by giving them a platform to showcase their work, get bookings and a dashboard with all necessary tools. The way people use beauty services today is unnecessary complicated. There is a million different choices and they are all on different platforms, lacking a uniformed list of information. Beauty services are performed in salons- as they have been for the last 100 years. In recent years more and more stylists have transferred their businesses to Instagram where they can showcase pictures of their work and get in touch with potential clients, doing their bookingsystem via direct messages. This has resulted in a huge and unstructured beauty service market, confusing for both buyers and sellers. Making it difficult for buyers to get an overview of the offers and for stylists to be visible for customers, as well as a lacking booking system. On top of this buyers still have to travel to the salons and set all of their responsibilities aside to get a service performed in a salon. This problem affects men and women, in all ages and lifestyles all over the world. Especially in Norway with our remote landscape, hectic lifestyles and beauty needs always developing. Nabostylistens solution to the mentioned problems above is a one-stop-hub for buying and selling beauty services. Giving a full and uniformed overview of stylists and their services within your area with prices, pictures, duration, descriptions, bio of stylist, timeslots available and a booking flow. Nabostylisten is founded by Tomas Erdis, a well known and sought after makeup artist with over 13 years of experience. Tomas is one of Norways absolute best and most booked stylists. He has worked with brands, celebrities, other profiles and regular customers. He noticed that normal people did not know if they were allowed to book him for his services, or how to do it. He has been delivering services at location all of his career and noticed that for other stylists this was not the regular way to work. He was able to meet his clients needs by travelling to them, and in doing so he became very popular.

Empowering construction projects ​to make a sustainable impact​, with human centric technology. Building sustainable is difficult. Today, building sustainable involves unstructured, unscalable and time-consuming processes. Drowned in paperwork and documentation, experts waste time on mundane and frustrating tasks instead of exploiting their expertise. Kvist makes the first complete digital system for sustainability reporting for construction projects. By delivering a cloud-based software that makes it really easy for projects to collect, validate and analyse environmental data, we remove friction in the unstructured processes that occur when choosing to build sustainable. Lower costs​. Lower risks​. Greener cities​. With big names among our customers and backed by investors like Alliance Venture, Arkwright X, DNB and Startuplab, we are well on our way to grow full speed. We are a relatively young team of currently 14 people, spread across expertise areas with a mix of engineering, developers, customer success and business development, some coming directly from university and others with a background in the industry. We have a very nice office at a co-working space in the very centre of Oslo, surrounded by both small startups and some established companies, and there is great and low-priced canteen, where we have lunch. We have access to many meeting rooms and facilities when you need silence, but also a great young and dynamic environment, where things are happening all the time. Our culture is fully flexible, meaning that everyone is allowed to work from home when needed, but as a small team we also enjoy working together, and most of us prefer to come to the office. We are a very social team, which easily comes when being small, and we do a lot of activities together like team dinners, Friday bars etc., but it is also fully accepted to skip and go home, when parts of the team decide to go for Karaoke at 1am. REPAIRABLE COMMUNITY

There are too few products repaired, and e.g. clothes therefore have a short lifespan and end up as waste before their time. Brands have a producer responsibility for the entire life cycle of the products they put on the market, and must contribute to the product's increased lifespan to avoid waste production. However, they do not have global scalable solutions for this, but have inefficient expensive and manual processes (difficult to communicate around) which make most employees avoid repairs, and would rather give a new product, or the money back. Whether they offer repair is challenging. There are no global solutions that collect repair data for learning and improving design. Consumers have, always!, 1 or more garments awaiting repair, but the service is not available in the correct format. Repairers have challenges in scaling, employing and growing their company into a modernized service offer and a more predictable and appealing "call to action". The problem is common because we have developed habits influenced by "Planned obsolescence". The problem we solve are solved firstly for brands and retailers. Consumers are asking for products with a longer lifespan, and the European Commission is doing the same. Branded goods will in the future HAVE to repair complaints if it is not cheaper to give a new one. In practice, consumers will expect repairs from responsible parties. The brands are global and do not have a system for complaints and repair management, which is easy to communicate internally and externally. Secondly, consumers have broken products, but poor access to certified repairers outside the city centres, and too little information and management of expectations. Local services that brands back, and transport solutions increase accessibility and use and extend the customer relationship with brand. For the repairers, digitization offers opportunities for scaling, interaction with more people in a more efficient way, learning, as well as the capacity to use digital customized products and better purchasing conditions. We develop an API, a plug and play solution for the landing pages of manufacturers, brands and retailers. It is a "white labelled" fully integrated saas API, similar to how brands have integrations for payment and logistics. Then all stakeholders have a common point, for inquiries about damaged products, and the API supports the producer responsibility scheme/compliance. All product-level data will be collected here for feedback and improvements in design as well as sustainability reporting. Complaints are handled automatically through a decision tree linked to regulations. It makes customer service more efficient. Different transport solutions/delivery addresses with different costs will be offered. Local repairers will be certified and, with a simple interface, will receive more assignments from more customers. They will have a structure behind them that can help professionalize the operation as well as respond to the EU's requirements for documentation. Consumers will get fixed prices, predictability in the service and the possibility of personalisation.

Kleda

Kleda is a platform that allows users to share their personal styles and earn money from it. The platform allows users to create a profile to showcase and share pictures of their clothing style, as well as add links to where the clothing items were purchased. These links are then transformed into "deep links" that enable tracking of purchases made through a given user's clothing style. Users who share their styles on the platform will receive a commission of approximately 10-20% on sales made through these links. Kleda facilitates transactions between users and clothing stores, with the aim of making it easier for users to shop for clothes and get inspiration to create a good clothing style. Kleda solves several problems in the fashion industry. Consumers often experience friction when they have to visit multiple different stores or websites to find the clothes they want. Kleda provides a seamless and user-friendly experience by offering multiple stores on one platform. Additionally, Kleda provides publishers with a platform to build their own brand and earn money through collaborations with clothing stores. Kleda provides clothing stores with an easy way to sell products directly to consumers on a platform that already has a large and engaged user base, thereby increasing their visibility and revenue. Kleda has three different customer groups. The first group is shopping customers who use the Kleda app to find and purchase clothes from various stores on an easy and user-friendly platform. The second group is publishers who share their clothing styles and inspire other users. Kleda offers publishers the opportunity to build their personal brand and earn money by collaborating with Kleda's clothing store partners. The third group is clothing stores that want increased visibility and accessibility on a new platform. Kleda provides clothing stores with the opportunity to sell their products directly to customers and collaborate with Kleda to promote their products through campaigns and marketing. Overall, Kleda is solving the problem of the friction and inconvenience that consumers experience when shopping for clothes, while also providing opportunities for publishers and clothing stores to benefit from the platform.
