About Kørt Kørt is a female owned and founded. The name Kørt is my (Courtney - owner, and founder) nickname after a mispronunciation occurred in the job I was transferred to Norway to do, at DNV. I've been leather crafting for 9 years now. I owned a small leather goods business in Australia which broke even and was gaining consistent orders before I had to choose to either continue or relocate to Norway with my day job. I am building Kørt because, in my corporate career, I was traveling internationally regularly but could never find the bag that did all the functions I needed. Travel size laptop bag, great for in the board room and customer meetings, easy to take around while exploring the city I was in, and could also take me to a bar or black tie event, and then become a backpack to take on the plane when I was flying home the next day. In all my travels I didn't find anything, so I created it myself. I am building my company right from the start. I am fully focused on the entire supply chain of my materials and manufacturing. This is a major bottleneck in the development of smaller launch vehicles, forcing every actor to go through the same R&D process before they can perform their actual business services. By providing a commercially available off-the-shelf rocket engine design for the launch vehicle's upper stage, we want to save these launch companies the initial years of testing and research needed, letting our customers skip the r&d-heavy initial process of engine development and go straight to value-generating satellite launches. Reducing the time from inception to launch by several years, we relieve rocket launcher companies of the insecurity and stress related to the development of rocket engines and let them go straight to launch, bringing more cargo to orbit.

We have invented an effective trap for long tailed silverfish, a pest spreading rapidly between houses all over Norway and northern Europe. The traps are effective for months, can be reused, and only biodegradable, non-toxic lure is used. We developed this trap as we found it to be more effective than glue traps in most cases, it doesn't need additional lure to trap this species of silverfish, doesn't need frequent replacement, kills insects instantly, you don't see dust and dead insects inside the trap, and traps are solid and can handle humid and wet conditions. We sell traps to consumers and businesses in Norway on our webpage and through resellers in other countries.
