The problem:The easiest pollution to clean up, is what's on the surface. Lost fishing gear is hidden on the bottom. It doesn't only cause pollution, but also torture and death of enormous amounts of animals. About 10% of the total amount of seafood harvested are wasted to ghost fishing. Hundreds of thousands of crab- and lobster traps are lost every years. In the Florida Keys alone an estimated 100 000 traps are lost every yearCaptured animals starve to death, and become bait for others to follow. Lost traps thus become endless killing machines at a severe societal and environmental cost. Over time traps also start dissolving, releasing microplastics into the ocean, working its way into the food chain and polluting our seafood. The solution:ResqUnit is a device that's mounted on top of a trap or a pot. If the trap is left under water for a longer period of time, ResqUnit activates and floats to the surface. Thus enabling you to retrieve it.We are hoping to raise awareness so that anyone who sees the unique floating device, will either pull up the equipment or report it's location. That way everybody can do their part keeping the oceans cleaner and stop the unnecessary killing of sea life.

Oxy Solutions'​ core business and strategy is to develop, document, IP protect, and commercialize the technology primarily within wound healing. The company has an in-house R&D facility in Norway. The company has funding from the Norwegian Research Council. Oxy Solutions is in possession of patented technology that makes it possible to greatly increase the dissolved level of oxygen in water. Tests have indicated stable levels in excess of 70 mg/l, or approximately 10 times higher than previously thought possible.

We have now published the first version of the website Devent for Agility. The idea is to have a website where you can find agility-related information in the form of a meeting overview (list or calendar), results, annual overviews, and statistics for dog/organizer/judge (graphs are best viewed on a PC or landline phone). You manage which dogs you want to see statistics for easily on "my page". The system also has modules for setting up and running your own events and supports e.g. 5 size classes if desired. Sick-leave and workplace welfare is a problem escalating globally. As mental illness and complex health problems rise, new workplace challenges are created. Employers need new tools and practices to help deal with this adequately. Norway has the highest sick leave in the OECD, costing the state and employers over 50 billion kroner each year. 70% of sick leave is avoidable (NAV) and could be prevented through better employee follow-up and workplace facilitation. By solving structural barriers that exist today we help employers co-ordinate efforts with doctors, NAV and other stakeholders to keep people at work and prevent unnecessary sick-leave. Our tools help leaders follow-up their teams, create an open dialogue and an inclusive approach to workplace welfare and how they organise work, key factors in preventing sickness and workplace absence.

Battkomp designs, produces, and repairs li-ion batteries in the 0.5 to 10 kWh range for mobility applications. We strive to grow into a battery factory that builds high-quality, high-performance batteries for demanding applications. We source the best cells from our partners, and cover the module assembly, housing, and battery management part of the value chain. We have design, manufacturing, and maintenance in-house. We want to run the whole business from Norway, betting on automation instead of cheap labour, quality over quantity, reliability over price, local over foreign. We work with Oslo Kommune, Hesselberg Truck AS, Bolt, Buddy Bikes, and various other companies. We are looking to start a large research project in co-operation with UiO in the near future. We are 2 people and 5 3D-printers working full time at the moment.
