We are a Norwegian multicultural research and development company in the fields of wastewater treatment and biogas production. Our focus is firstly, on technology development for effective nutrient management schemes with innovative separation and aggregation processes for biofertiliser products. On the other hand, consultancy services and operation-training packages in the aforementioned industries, are part of our activities for effective waste management procedures for compliance with env. regulations.  Emilio Alvarenga: Originally from Honduras and living in Norway since 2011. I am a very enthusiastic person with a solid background (PhD) in water treatment and renewable energies. She is very efficient and she is currently taking a Bachelor degree in Bioengineering. She is kind and has great ideas for the company. She is our CTO and she is pure talent!Lene Elisabeth Storengen: Norway is her home country and she is our Marketing and PR officer. She is very creative and has social skills that she's using in our company. She is also an entrepreneur and she aims to invest in cultural-values, environmental and humanitarian companies.

After working together since 2012 in game development company Henchman & Goon, we launched Goontech in January 2015. Over 2.5 million Norwegians lack recommended vaccines, and unfortunately, many are unaware of this. But luckily, there is a solution: Flokki. We are ready to play a key role in increasing vaccination rates and improving public health. Dr. Arne Søraas, an experienced infectious disease specialist at Oslo University Hospital and Flokki, has witnessed the consequences of missing vaccinations up close. This insight inspired the idea of Flokki - a simple and practical tool that allows patients to assess their vaccination status and receive prescriptions from doctors, all with a few taps on their mobile phones (read more). Maintaining immunity in the adult population, especially after the age of 65, is crucial. The pneumococcal vaccine is particularly important for protecting the elderly from serious diseases. And let's not forget the Boostrix Polio vaccine, which plays a critical role in protecting against whooping cough, especially for those in close contact with newborns. With over 2.5 million Norwegians lacking vaccines, almost all pharmacy staff should be able to provide recommendations for vaccine checks. We especially encourage those over 65 to check their vaccination status, as well as pregnant women, who have a special duty to protect themselves and their unborn children. By raising awareness of the importance of vaccination and providing easy access to vaccines, Flokki is the answer to the adult vaccination program. Together, we can improve public health and reduce the incidence of serious diseases in society.

We enable the green shift to happen in new markets! TioTech is a Norwegian producer of titania (TiO2) nanomaterials and a developer of titania-based technology. We know how to optimise the production process and properties of titania nanoparticles. After successfully developing and commercialising a series of photocatalytic surface treatment products (www.joma-int.com), we are directing our R&D efforts towards a new area; the use of titania as anode-material in Lithium-ion batteries (LIB). A battery with our material on the anode will charge faster, last longer, be safer and tolerate temperature variation better than conventional batteries which have graphite on the anode, and outcompete LTO-batteries on capacity. The development work takes place in our in-house laboratory in Bergen, where our dedicated team (Hjørdis, Marthe, Rob, Anders) play around with titania, giving life to innovative solutions.

Med-Storm's Skin Conductance Algesimeter (SCA) uses the principle of skin conductance to measure pain, allowing us to titrate the right amount of pain medication for each, individual patient. This award-winning technology is not affected by changes in blood circulation, heart rate, hypotensia, environmental temperatures, and hypoxia, and shows low variation between individuals at the same level of pain. The pain monitor can be used on patients as young as 23 weeks of gestational age, as well as geriatric patients. MS is currently working on a miniaturized and wireless version of the SCA.
