We also helped Innovation Norway hire securely at scale with 49 job sim reports. All of this was made possible by deep IT job simulations; many times richer than traditional assessments.

Waybiller

Waybiller provides digital waybill solutions for logistics companies, making freight truly paperless. The software allows companies to switch from paper waybills to e-waybills, which results in lower costs and greater transparency. Founded in 2017, Waybiller was a brainchild of a team of developers and business consultants at Thorgate. After creating three very successful waybill softwares for the forestry industry, Waybiller was created as a spin-off to make the logistics industry paperless!

At Kyoto we work to decarbonise industrial energy consumption by increasing the share of renewable energy sources used to generate industrial process heat. Kyoto Group AS was founded in 2018, and consists of 9 skilled full time employees, plus a handful of great helpers. Our largest investors are solid and forward leaning industry leaders in the green energy transition: Hydro Energi Invest AS, Kongsberg Innovasjon AS, and Valinor AS.

Norway in a Box

Transparently NorwegianWe carefully select guaranteed Norwegian products, ship them via our own "digital highway of trust" to ourselves (in China) and sell them directly to end-users in the world (starting with China) through our own e-Commerce platform (and soon in our own retail stores). For the past four years has developed large networks in Shanghai focused on the seafood industry as well as media, logistics, distribution, customs, banking and restaurants. Xuechun (or Tara amongst friends) runs our operation in China.Espen Strand Pedersen. Idea maker and concept developer of several retail stores, photography studios and other projects. Educated in photography and worked as professional photographer for more than 20 years. Experience in planning, start-up and daily operations of retail and studio businesses. In 1997 started Stavanger's first artisanal coffee shop, which remains in operation. Espen is now the CEO of Norway in a Box. Espen Strand Henriksen. Concept developer who likes to set things in motion, build networks, collaborate and see the world from multiple perspectives. Educated at BI Norwegian Business School and in the Royal Norwegian Navy. Twenty years’ experience in marketing, advertising, media, sales, management and product and concept development in Oslo and Stavanger, 14 of them working for the world’s first digital cinema company (CAPA), and was also a key person in developing the unique and award winning mobility concept (HjemJobbHjem/HomeWorkHome). Espen is in charge of stakeholders at Norway in a Box.

IBEN is a Norwegian lifestyle fashion brand for women that wants to express their style and identity trough the way they dress. Established in 2014 IBEN represents the woman that cannot walk into a room without being noticed for her strong appearance. Her «tomboy» mentality, freed and laidback way of thinking is always the foundation for her choices and interactions. IBEN clothing is meant to supply self-made women the wardrobe they need to communicate their identity and way of life.

Mendo

Mendo is a technology business that creates simple-to-use, web-based systems that facilitate facts-based decision-making. In August 2015, Mendo launched RetailPlanet in Norway as a digital toolbox for place management. The system collects and analyses retail turnover data for a given geographical area and provides its 3500+ users with event benefit analysis, standard reporting and a weekly sales index.

HelpAdvisor

Helpadvisor ble etablert i 2016 av Bjørn Haugland, i frustrasjon over at han ikke på en enkel måte klarte å finne en oversikt over ledige tjenestetilbydere i nærområdet da han hadde vondt i ryggen. Bjørn etablerte Feedback Research som ble et av landets største markedsanalysebyråer med 60 ansatte og omsetning over 60 mill NOK. Han startet deretter Confirmit som i dag er verdens største innen utvikling av programvare for markedsanalyse med over 400 ansatte på 9 kontorer i verden, 77.8 mill USD i omsetning og 12 mill USD i resultat i 2015 og over en milliard intervjuer gjennomført i de siste årene. Han har også vært med å starte Symphonical som på det meste hadde 350 000 brukere over hele verden og flere andre selskaper.

After more than 8 years of research and development, aiming to replicate the human eye lens, poLight is in the final stage of introducing products to the market with a technology taking astonishing images with instant focus. We are developing a tuneable lens technology that will enable next generation auto focus capability camera module for the mobile phone industry. Our first product, the TLens Silver is now ready for market introduction and we are preparing the organisation accordingly for the upcoming challenges.

Food Farm

FoodFarm is an integrated platform that allows companies to arrange food for their employees, and have it brought to their offices daily. It is an alternative to the traditional canteen. It offers users a selection of kitchens and food types to choose from ordered via the app. Companies can choose from a range of kitchens , change them when desired and individual employees can also unsubscribe. All these actions are automated, which translates to: high speed and efficiency. Food Farm is so much more than just ordering your lunch. What we offer is the world's first co-created food platform.In essence, this means that we strive to deliver food in the most efficient way possible by engaging with each user in our value chain. When we started, we wanted to make ordering food cheaper but in our efforts to do so, we realized we had started building a new system for food services. Our vision is to connect every aspect of the value chain from the person producing the food to the person growing it to the final consumer. In doing so and with better communication between these different actors, we hope to reduce food waste not just within Norway, but also on a global level. Our business model is very lean and we don't need a lot of resources to enter other markets and we know that that is where we would like to be to contribute towards addressing the larger issue of food waste.

We develop a software product for energy companies and wind developers to guide the end-of-life phase of wind farms. Our mission is to accelerate wind energy renewal and ensure no components end up in landfill. ReWind began as an internal project in DNV, but has since spun out into an independent, fast-growing company since launching our product.
