This role as ShareLab Incubator Manager is a unique and highly rewarding opportunity to join a newly established laboratory based life science incubator, where the goal is to build a new generation of biotech startups in Norway. You will be joining a small team responsible for growing the ShareLab incubator into one of the leading life science incubation communities in the country.

Squarehead Technology provides advanced microphone array systems for audio capture and acoustical zoom. A microphone array  combines a large number of individual microphones to create a highly directional audio output.  The challenge of isolating and capturing desired sound in noisy environments is a well-known problem. Our products allow an operator to zoom in on a particular area and record sound in much the same way a camera zooms in a scene. This is achieved by using sophisticated digital signal processing of audio from several hundred microphones combined into a single system. All audio channels are high quality digital signals that can be recorded without any loss.

CL-Invest is an investment company based in Oslo, Norway with a team of experts with decades of experience in project finance, assessment, and development. ​We work in partnership with National Oil Companies (NOCs) and independent oil producers to realize scalable emission reductions that can be achieved rapidly. Our mission is immediate climate action through the elimination of financial barriers with a focus on methane and flare reduction projects in emerging economies. CL-invest is presently developing several methane and flare abatement projects in Nigeria and Azerbaijan with current expansion into Iraq, Venezuela, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Oman, and Iran among other countries underway. CL-Invest offers a full-service solution including project identification and assessment, project financing, implementation, verification and monitoring as well as High-Quality carbon credit development and sales. We leverage strong international partners to help manage all activities of this project cycle. The company was founded through a de-merger of Carbon Limits AS in 2021 whereby CL-Invest now subcontracts Carbon Limits to provide technical advisory and consulting services to CL-Invest and indirectly to its clients. To date, our total impact equates to 9.2 million tons of CO2e removed and approximately 70 million euros of carbon credit finance generated. Between 2022 and 2030, CL-Invest plans to initiate more than 200 projects and achieve a total carbon emission reduction equivalent to 61.4 million tCO2e. Annual estimated emission reductions on our existing projects are ​800 000 tCO2e in 2022 and 1 million tCO2e in 2023. CL-Invest is currently in the process of establishing strategic partnerships with international players who have complementary expertise and resources to assist the company in ensuring a rapid upscaling of the business. We know how to optimise the production process and properties of titania nanoparticles. After successfully developing and commercialising a series of photocatalytic surface treatment products (www.joma-int.com), we are directing our R&D efforts towards a new area; the use of titania as anode-material in Lithium-ion batteries (LIB). A battery with our material on the anode will charge faster, last longer, be safer and tolerate temperature variation better than conventional batteries which have graphite on the anode, and outcompete LTO-batteries on capacity. The development work takes place in our in-house laboratory in Bergen, where our dedicated team (Hjørdis, Marthe, Rob, Anders) play around with titania, giving life to innovative solutions.

Material Mapper’s vision is to create a market of scale for secondary building materials by mapping them in Europe and leading the transition towards a closed-loop circular construction and demolition industry. The European construction industry is urgently lacking clear, centralized access to information about secondary building materials available in their area, due to the fragmentation and inconsistency with which these public data are captured and stored. This makes building planning with quality secondary building materials time and cost-intensive for stakeholders, in turn making it difficult to comply with the EU’s Waste Directive of 70% recycled/re-used building materials. Our young, multi-award-winning company is planning to launch a project over 24 months to build a breakthrough innovation for the whole of Europe using artificial intelligence and machine learning that will extract, read, evaluate, and forecast quantities of secondary building materials for the user, making future planning for property developers seamless through our platform.
