Stargate Media

Stargate Media is a leading interactive, multi-platform VR and 360-video content developer for desktop, YouTube, iOS, Android and virtual reality HMDs including: Google Cardboard, Samsung GearVR, Oculus Rift, and OSVR. We have our own cross-platform player, SDKs, and custom high-end hardware, enabling us to deliver and stream the highest quality experiences. We've collaborated with some of the world's top artists, directors, and producers to create award winning series, shorts, and apps. We are currently in beta with our cross-device curation, streaming, and distribution platform.

SquareHead Technology

Squarehead Technology provides advanced microphone array systems for audio capture and acoustical zoom. A microphone array  combines a large number of individual microphones to create a highly directional audio output.  The challenge of isolating and capturing desired sound in noisy environments is a well-known problem. Our products allow an operator to zoom in on a particular area and record sound in much the same way a camera zooms in a scene. This is achieved by using sophisticated digital signal processing of audio from several hundred microphones combined into a single system. All audio channels are high quality digital signals that can be recorded without any loss.

Buildright

Buildright is developing an AI intelligence layer for construction projects to help contractors and project teams solve invisible risk — by turning the data already generated on every project into actionable insights before problems become costs. The problem hiding in plain sight Construction is broken. 85% of large projects finish over budget. Rework accounts for 9% of total project cost. Delays cost $280bn annually in North America alone. The signals that predict these outcomes already exist — in meeting notes, deviation logs, change orders, and task lists. But no one sees them in time to act. Risk only becomes visible after it has already cost you. This affects every contractor, project manager, site foreman, and HSE officer on every project — in an industry that represents trillions in global economic activity. From raw data to the right decision Buildright connects the data already generated on construction projects and surfaces the right insight to the right person — at every level of the organisation. Project directors get cross-project risk visibility to see which projects need attention before they escalate. PMs, HSE managers, and quality leads get role-specific dashboards with the decisions they need to make, surfaced daily. Site crews get targeted microlearning triggered automatically when a risk pattern is detected — before the next shift starts. But we go beyond insights. Buildright also automates the everyday tasks that consume project teams — generating alerts when something needs attention, and producing artifacts like meeting packs, reports, and change-order traces automatically. The result is not just better visibility, but a meaningfully more efficient project team. We're live in production with AF Gruppen and Betonmast, two of Norway's largest contractors. 100,000+ deviations, tasks, and meeting notes analysed — with a confirmed 10x ROI from our pilots. The urge to solve a global problem Lars Gaustad spent years at the top of the construction industry — and watched the same story play out over and over. Projects bleeding money. Deadlines slipping. SomebodyMakeIt

GitHub made it easy for the world to build software together. SomebodyMakeIt does the same for physical products. SomebodyMakeIt is where brands, IP owners, and product creators can turn ideas into real products without building supply chains from scratch through a shared infrastructure for sourcing, collaboration, production, and scaling. Physical product creation is still absurdly broken. If you want to launch something real, you usually need to find the right people, manage scattered files and feedback, coordinate suppliers, handle production risk, and commit money before you know if demand exists. That kills speed, margins, and momentum. It also locks out a huge number of creators and companies that could launch great products if the system were easier. This is a massive market gap hiding in plain sight. We are building the platform where physical products get built. A place where ideas, briefs, collaborators, makers, manufacturers, production knowledge, and execution can live in one system. Instead of every company rebuilding the process from zero, they can plug into shared infrastructure for developing, testing, and scaling products. The more projects that run through the platform, the stronger the network becomes. More data, better matching, faster execution, more repeat production, and more value captured across the lifecycle. We started this because we think it is crazy that software has world class infrastructure for building together, while physical products are still stuck in email, spreadsheets, fragmented sourcing, and expensive guesswork. That should not be true anymore. We are building SomebodyMakeIt because the company that becomes the default place where physical products get built can become incredibly important.

AirDodge

AirDodge is a Norwegian company with an HQ in Oslo, Norway. We are building an automated air traffic management system(termed as U-Space software) to enable scalable drone operations. Our target end customers will be drone operators. U-Space solves the problem for all drone operators by making it much easier to obtain permissions. It enables large scale Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations whereof today this is too costly for most companies. It also makes it safer for manned aviation such as emergency helicopters that will have full visibility of ongoing drone flights in the area they are approaching. Other drone operators such as police, search and rescue will be able to quickly deploy drones opposed to wait for helicopters to arrive. They may also mandate quick clearing of drones from any given area in case such operations must take place. Our solution is to build our own software platform and provide flight services according to the EASA framework recently published. These services will be legally required and the 4 primary services are defined by: 1) Drone Identification: This service will be focused on providing information on all the live drone traffic in U-Space to all participants (operators in the air). 2) Live Air Traffic Identification: This service will be focused on providing information on all the live manned air traffic in U-Space. All manned air traffic has to make themselves electronically visible if flying in U-Space. If a manned aircraft flies too close to a drone, then the drone pilot/operator will receive a warning message. 3) Geo-Zones: These are the core geographical definitions of airspaces on map where drone operators can see where they can or cannot fly. Examples of restricted airspaces include airports, military bases, prisons, bird sanctuaries, obstacles etc. Having an extensive dataset which displays all the possible flight restriction/warning zones is significantly important to drone operators as it ensures compliance and more efficient flight planning. 4) Flight Authorization: This gives drone operators the ability to ensure their flight path does not intersect/conflict with any other operators conducting drone flights in the same airspace. The flight authorization will require drone pilots to submit their flight path in 4 dimensions which include 3D trajectory and time. Flight authorization will also allow drone pilots to communicate with Air Traffic control to request a drone flight in restricted airspace. The response times for both types of requests will be instant. AirDodge was originally founded by Umar in 2022 in Sweden. A year later he moved the company to Norway where he met Serhii in 2024 and then they built the company together. Umar, as the founder of Skyqraft—a company specializing in drone-based powerline inspection—gained firsthand experience with the challenges of commercial drone flying while leading its operations. His deep industry knowledge, combined with Serhii’s technological expertise, laid the foundation for AirDodge. Together, they are building innovative solutions to streamline drone operations, making them safer, more efficient, and seamlessly integrated into regulatory frameworks. We are backed by Antler, Nordic Makers and also received grant funding from Innovation Norway.

VG Lab

We test and build innovative consumer services and apps. Backed by the distribution and financial muscles of Norway's largest newspaper VG, while free of corporate policies and bureaucracy, we are able to take ideas from concept to reality in record time. Among our most recent innovations are the charging app Elton, the wishlist service Ønsk and the streaming service TV Guide. Disputas

Disputas is a small tech startup based in Oslo. We come from language technology, robotics, and philosophy. On a grant from the Norwegian research council (NFR), we are currently in the process of developing a digital platform for textual analysis in the educational sector. This summer we started developing the core functionality of the platform, and the first module is aimed at argument analysis. Our plan for 2021 is to expand the platform with modules for syntactic analysis of words and sentences, semantic concept analysis, and a module for law studies and juridical case processing. The premise of the project is to design the platform and the various modules in such a way that use generates data of a kind that is applicable for training novel machine learning services in the field of natural language processing (NLP).

Flove Norge As

In this industry, we are not required to disclose the content of the products we sell. There are no requirements for the production, process, or raw material before the products are sold. The vagina is the most absorbent organ you have. If the products you use contain potentially toxic chemicals, you may run the risk of getting them right into your bloodstream. With this in mind as well as an idea for more transparent and to-the-point marketing, the founder of Flove, Jeanett wanted to develop a well-documented menstrual cup, of high quality and without toxic chemicals. After 2,5 years of testing, prototyping, failing, and researching Flove menstrual cup finally launched in May 2019. The cups are designed and developed in Norway and are produced in a certified "clean room" in Taiwan. Jeanette visited the factory in March 2019. The silicone used is certified medical-grade silicone from Dow Corning. The bag coming with the menstrual cup when buying one is made of lyocell Tencel, printed and sewn at Fabrikk Oslo. The packaging is made of carton and is printed at 07 media in Oslo. The goal is to make menstrual cup mainstream and to sell more sustainable products. *  One of the reasons Flove was established was to help girls to stay in school around the world. There are so many girls who can't afford sanitary pads and the result is often that many girls drop out of school. We are looking for the right partner to help us help as many girls as possible to stay in school.

Minuendo

At Minuendo we are passionate about sound and the sense of hearing. We are equally concerned about the state of hearing for both consumers as well as professionals, ranging from musicians to workers in the construction industry. Minuendo was founded in 2018 by a team with extensive experience in acoustics, hearing protection, and product development. Our mission is to deliver category-defining hearing protection products that users will truly enjoy wearing and that will provide real protection.  Shortly after starting the company, we raised a total of EUR 2.5 million from investors such as Construct Venture and EU grants to accelerate our development. Minuendo is a fast-growing start-up based in Oslo. The founders have a track record of start-ups and product development. We have raised NOK 25 million since we started the company in the fall of 2018. We have offices in the loft at Pakkhuset close to Stortinget.  We are just about to launch our first product internationally and we need your help to make sure we succeed with product marketing and reaching users online that we otherwise would not have sold to through traditional channels. What we have made is a new high-end prosumer earplug that reduces noise and protects your hearing, while maintaining high fidelity of ambient sounds, such as music from your own instrument or at concerts. The technology and product are unique, and so must our digital marketing.

RESPINOR is a privately-owned medical device company, founded in Oslo, 2015. We have developed an objective measure of breathing for critically ill patients within intensive care. The technology provides precise, continuous and real-time information of diaphragm function, our main breathing muscle, to increase the quality of care and reducing costs. RESPINOR’s technology is the winner of Horizon 2020 both in phase I and II. We are addressing an unmet medical need because every breath counts.

Think Outside is now Mitta AS, a subsidiary fully owned by Mitta Oy. Mitta will be offering geodata monitoring and measurement services to the Norwegian market, bridging the growth of the Finnish and Swedish Mitta companies to new Norwegian customers. For us at Mitta, accurate and reliable positioning is extremely important, as it is a basic prerequisite for spatial information. High-quality input data means cost-effectiveness in design, construction and monitoring, regardless of the customer's industry. Mitta is the market leader as a producer and processor of terrain information in the infrastructure sector in Finland and Sweden. Our customers operate in the construction value chain from design to production.

SECURE-NOK AS

CYBERSECURITY FOR INDUSTRIAL NETWORKS AND CONTROL SYSTEMS Secure-NOK® is a technology company providing cybersecurity solutions for monitoring industrial networks (OT), and for detecting vulnerable areas. The company has vast experience and recognized technology, and has participated in several research projects with outstanding results. The technology (SNOK) can detect any abnormal event in a network and prevent important infrastructure from experiencing downtime due to malicious attack. Today, most industries are digitized, and thus more exposed to attacks from the outside. With technology from Secure-NOK, such attacks will be detected early, and thus avoid damage and downtime. Secure-NOK has developed patented sensors which are installed in a OT network, and which capture and report any abnormal traffic. The company has sensors for both networks, end-stations and PLC systems.
