Ecomerden is a complete producer of semi-closed cage systems for Aquaculture founded in 2012. With over 25 years of experience in delivering technology in the aquaculture industry, we started developing Ecomerden, a European patented semi-closed system for the lice-free production of fish. By 2015 the first cage was installed in Solund. Sogn & Fjordane. Here we have produced lice-free post-smolt of Atlantic salmon (90 grams-1kg) for 2 years with groundbreaking results. Using Ecomerden as a combination in the production line of the fish not only prevents lice pressure but also makes a more robust smolt ready for the open cages. With the results so far showing that the technology and biology are working, the company is now ready for commercialization.

Fishency Innovation can give access to the entire salmon industry to affordable equipment to count automatically sea lice in the cage. Monitoring sea lice is the key to controlling them, it is access to good decision support for optimized treatments and to a reliable tool to measure the efficiency of preventive measures and existing treatments. Today, sea lice are counted manually over 20 fish, every week, in each cage. It is labor-demanding, and the collected data are not reliable. Sustainability starts with good data.

We’re an independent game studio based in Oslo, Norway, which was founded in February 2013 by a group of students at the Norwegian School of Information Technology (NITH). In January 2014 we consisted of 7 members of the team who all have different experiences in their own fields of expertise. Our common goal is that we want to contribute to the indie scene with story-driven games, without compromising the gameplay. Aviant performs medical deliveries between hospitals by leveraging drone technology. Today, district hospitals can only analyze simple blood tests themself. The rest have to be transported to test centers, often located at the larger hospitals. Current ground-based transportation logistics between hospitals is unorganized, inefficient, and costly. This new way of transportation will increase the frequency and flexibility of test delivery, as drones can be deployed on an as-needed basis, which will drastically improve the diagnosis process in districts. An analysis posten IEEE showed how drone transportation of biological samples could save the Danish authorities 300 MNOK/year. This commercial potential has been confirmed by our contact with health regions. We currently have three paying contracts: one with St. Olavs Hospital in Trondheim and two in Sweden. Besides our three commercial contracts, we have gotten requests from seven potential customers. To keep up with the demand from the market and take care of our current customers, we need to expand the team.

Naardic is an online gym. We focus on interactive classes - you see the trainer, but the trainer also sees you. Naardic is a fusion of fitness and tech. We are developing our own video conferencing system to get that next level user experience of online training. Our market is divided between private customers and corporate customers. The sale of private memberships started in august 2020 and corporate memberships started in November 2020. So far we have about 2000 paying members and grow very fast. Our corporate customers include some of the largest Norwegians companies like Tine, Crayon, Tryg, Schibsted ++. We have 20+ trainers working for us and about 15 live and interactive classes every day. Our trainers are regarded as the top fitness trainers in Norway.

Today, only 1 in 4 parents to deaf children in high-income countries manage to learn sign language. In low-income countries, it is believed to be less than 1 in 10. Families with individuals that benefit from sign-assisted communication face the same challenge. These include the parents to children with Down Syndrome, severe autism or Cerebral palsy. The How An international learning platform for sign languages and sign-assisted communication. The SignLab learning platform is fully digital and can incorporate new languages within weeks. The user only needs access to a smartphone or a computer. The platform makes it fun and easy to learn through gamification and timed encouragement. To ensure that the user gets the most out of every learning session, our review functionality incorporates an AI that knows what signs you are about to forget. The AI then designs a learning session that is tailored to the individual user’s need. Our curriculum is designed in cooperation with sign language teachers in each language. The platform launched in open beta in Norway November 2018. Feedback from parents and sign language teachers gave it a NPS of +64. The platform saw exponential growth with an average growth rate of 276% each month for the first three months (Nov-Feb). This growth all came from word of mouth, $0 spent on marketing.
