In order to achieve this we deconstruct the hundreds of documents describing each plant into snippets of information in accordance with our domain-driven data model. In the next 7 years, the world needs to invest almost twice what has been invested into renewable energy generation in the last 20 years. At the same time subsidies are being rolled back, increasing the need to for ensuring that projected ROI is not compromised by underperformance of the investments (i.e. plants). We have lived the pain, and know that NOW is the time to transform the way commercial management of renewable energy plants is being done.

Based in Kongsberg - the heart of the Subsea Valley - Kongsberg Ferrotech is utilizing world-leading competence to develop the first-ever automated solution, the Oktapous, for riser cleaning, NDT inspection, maintenance (coating), and structural repair (glass/carbon fiber reinforcement). The repair will be performed inside the patented Habitat - allowing for composite repairs subsea and in the splash zone while offering quality as if the repair was performed in a laboratory environment. The Oktapous will offer the client around 50% cost reduction, together with improved quality and significantly reduced HSE risk compare to existing solutions by removing the need for rope access, divers, and ROVs. Kongsberg Ferrotech is partly funded by the Malaysian-based oil and gas company, Petronas Charigali.
