SoCentral

SoCentral utvikler likeverdige partnerskap med kommuner, næringsliv og innbyggere som vil utvikle et mer bærekraftig samfunn. Vi ble startet av tre gründere i 2012, og er et ideelt aksjeselskap hvor alt av overskudd brukes til videreutvikling. I dag er vi en liten bedrift med 8 heltidsansatte og 2 deltidsansatte, men med et stort miljø og nettverk rundt oss. Vi driver en inkubator med over 200 medlemmer på Sentralen i Oslo, og utvikler og leder prosjekter og samarbeid for å nå bærekraftsmålene. Hos SoCentral forventer vi mye av oss selv og hverandre, og er opptatt av å ha tid til alt livet har å tilby. Som vår kollega i SoCentral vil du ha stor frihet til å løse dine ansvarsområder på den måten som passer deg best. Samtidig forventer vi at du tar ansvar og innbyr til tillit. Det er ikke et strengt hierarki eller avdelinger i SoCentral, men vi har alle tydelige ansvarsområder. Du vil derfor måtte forholde deg til mange “ledere”. SoCentral eksperimenterer med løsninger på viktige samfunnsutfordringer. Det er derfor uunngåelig at vi ikke alltid får til det vi ønsker. Det er ok. Det er faktisk helt nødvendig. For vi vet at vi lærer vel så mye av det som vi ikke får til, så lenge vi greier å dele åpent og spørre om hjelp når vi trenger det. Hos oss må du derfor være åpen for og villig til å dele halvferdige tanker og idéer fortløpende. SoCentral er kunnskapsdrevet og vi er avhengig av at ny kunnskap deles både internt og eksternt.

wa.works

Our goal is to fix the issues with IT recruitment by challenging the role WE used to have for many years. The issues are that:1. It's hard to know who's best for a job because we rely on manual evaluations based on CV-descriptions.2. It's even harder to know where you can find the best candidates because it's time consuming and expensive to track and promote on all platforms.Now, the easiest solution is to hire a recruitment agency (like we used to be), and receive candidates from their private database. But when the price range form 5000-15 0000$ per hire, very few companies can afford this. And you still have to trust that the agency have fixed the two issues above, and that their recommendations are not influenced by the potential payout.That's why we are creating a tool that matches candidates and companies so precisely that there should be no doubts to who you should interview. We match your skill need to everyone who has applied for the job and everyone who has applied for other jobs, so that you don't have to limit your talent access to only your own marketing efforts and budget. And we are only charging 500$ per process, with unlimited hires and users.

Capeesh

Capeesh is combining machine intelligence with gamification in order to provide relevant language learning for non-native speakers who work in domain-specific industries.Capeesh aims to change how employers onboard and train new hires. It is all about providing the right language learning exercise in the right industry-related context, driving towards authentic use in an authentic context. This experience transfers employees work-related capacity. In Capeesh we embrace diversity and creativity! With offices based in some of the most innovative hubs in Norway, we care about flexible work environments and new approaches. Follow your enthusiasm and challenge everything!The team consists of experienced game developers, full-stack engineers, experts in natural language processing and experienced business developers. As a part of the team, we also have two language researchers with expertise in phonetics and linguistics, which will help us validate the effect of what we are creating.

Easy At Work AS

Our creative team have made a  cloud based system and an app called easy@work. It is a Workforce Management System that provides leaders with all necessary information to run their business at the best. Employees will get more self going and will have full insight and their workday is 100% transparent. In our own eco system you can produce and controll your Schedules, salaries, internal communication, checklists, personalfiles and more. Our platform is flexible and suited for all types of companies

GIRL CRUSH

GIRL CRUSH is a creative agency working with social media, videoproduction and photography. In addition we have a web magazine trying to inspire girls to follow their dreams! In 2018/19 we are also launching a new co working space designed and specialized for our target audiance.Our clients are companies, PR-agencies, influencers and webshops.We thrive to encourage girls and women to be authentic, brave, curious, openminded and supportive! Our agency is also a community with values we believe is very important in order to pursue our ambitions in the social media world. Having been sister rivals in the childhood we eventually found out that values and goals were and are the same, and for a long time we dreamt of working together, whether it should be the start of a different online magazine for women, fashion design or advertising. We see the final pieces fall into place, and found that working with content creation for social media is where we can complement each other in the best possible way.  GIRL CRUSH wants to encourage women to not compare, we must stop feeling threatened by others we think are better than ourselves. "It's strange to say out loud, but my ideal of beauty is myself at my best. I would imagine that this summer I'll have tighter thighs and a little more bouncy ass, but I'm still ME. Jessica Alba is the prettiest woman I've ever seen, but I am not supposed to look like her."  There is no doubt that there are fewer female entrepreneurs in our country, and one of the most stupid causes of it, is that girls and women are each others' worst enemies. "In connection with a job interview, I took a personality test that shows that I am extremely individualist, ie; I prefer to do things alone, and choose to rely on my own skills and instincts rather than seek contact with other people. I know what I'm good at. I want to be independent and autonomous, thrive alone in a private company and have from time to time some good moments with confidence on top and think I can do everything by myself (remember that self-esteem and self-confidence is not the same). But now I have realized that this 'trait' (which I until now, have called it), is not particularly lucky if I want to achieve something in life. I will not stand alone. Why should I, when I know that together with other good people (especially women), we can accomplish so much more? I would rather ask myself; What can I do to encourage and embrace women around me? Is it possible that someone needs my help? When was the last time I did something meaningful for another woman in my industry? And as journalist Lindsey Saletta wrote in an article; is there anything inside me holding me back from supporting women? We create digital products for Magnus Carlsen, the worlds best chess player. We're a dynamic team full of passionate, talented young people. So far, we have three successful apps on App Store and Google Play Store. Our mission is to make the world a smarter place through chess.Play Magnus has central offices at Mesh.

Cake it easy

Cake it easy is changing the cake business. We have built a powerful platform connecting local bakers and customers. We have so far recruited more than 400 local bakeries in Norway and Sweden and we have started to grow into other countries. We create value by uniting local vendors, simplifying the sales process and optimizing the distribution.

Imerso

At Imerso we want to get more from data to help the world build better. We are a fast-growing tech company in Oslo transforming the global construction industry with new-generation software. Imerso is a first-of-its-kind platform that uses volumetric 3D data from construction sites to automatically track work progress — detecting mistakes and deviations from the building plans, and preventing massive costly problems and delays. Our customers range the entire value-chain, and some of the largest construction players already use our products in their most challenging projects. Bember AS

Smart retailers have strong webshops and lots of tools and data to drive traffic and conversion. But most of their business is still conducted through their physical locations. Using our tools, the physical shops are able to communicate and adjust their customer experience to the individual. Using the existing payment cards and terminals, we recognize the customer and capture all relevant data as is the norm online. This unique information is used to design a better shopping experience in the physical space. Our customers are the well-known retail brands you know from shopping malls across Northern Europe and the malls themselves. Norway and the Nordics already lead the world in electronic payments and the use of mobile and SMS to enhance sales. Now, we are pushing this further by combining access to the existing infrastructure surrounding shopping and a digital mindset to build closer relationships between retailers, shopping venues and their customers. ModaResa is a fast growing fashion tech startup founded in 2018 in Norway, supported by the LVMH group at La Maison des Startup, at Station F in Paris.
