Preppio: Science-Driven Onboarding

We have created onboarding software for HR that uses automation, chatbots & science to give new hires a flying start! Science and Technology Talya Bauer Ph.D. is one of the first scientists in the fields of onboarding. Her 5 C's of onboarding framework is the golden standard and a proven model to ensure that new hires become engage long term employees. Preppio is built based on the 5's principles together with Talya Bauer. The software uses messaging automation, chatbots, and content that enables any HR team to implement a science-based and paperless onboarding program that managers and new hires love. - Automation to save time for HR and hiring managers. - Chatbots to give new hires a better onboarding experience. - Science-based pre- and onboarding programs that drive engagement. Vilect is an AI powered recruitment assistant that helps non-hr managers run high quality processes and hire the best candidates in record time. The assistant identifies the most relevant candidates and lets the hiring manager screen short-listed applicants with recorded video interviews integrated directly in the system.www.vilect.ai  We are Vilect and we are really trying to keep one of the biggest time thieves in the retail sector at bay -- hiring and more specifically, hiring the wrong people. What we are doing is creating a recruitment software with the store manager in mind and improve the workflow. How do they reach out to the applicants? How do they evaluate applicants? How do they choose the right applicant? We thus want to make a system created around this workflow. Through this, we hope to help them sort through hundreds of applications and narrow those down to a more manageable number.We are saving time on writing the application by introducing video interviews instead. The applicant can complete the video interview as part of the process and the store manager can review those videos at his convenience. We started testing our prototypes which had a video element in it, with great feedback. We were wondering if they could actually get a good impression of a person with short video answers and thus far, the store managers' feedback has been really great.

Nabostylisten AS

Nabostylisten is a platform offering beauty services performed at the comfort of your home, office, friends place, nursing home, ANYWHERE. We give buyers a chance to get beauty services performed wherever they are located. We help beauty stylists create a living out of their dreams and to be their own boss by giving them a platform to showcase their work, get bookings and a dashboard with all necessary tools. The way people use beauty services today is unnecessary complicated. There is a million different choices and they are all on different platforms, lacking a uniformed list of information. Beauty services are performed in salons- as they have been for the last 100 years. In recent years more and more stylists have transferred their businesses to Instagram where they can showcase pictures of their work and get in touch with potential clients, doing their bookingsystem via direct messages. This has resulted in a huge and unstructured beauty service market, confusing for both buyers and sellers. Making it difficult for buyers to get an overview of the offers and for stylists to be visible for customers, as well as a lacking booking system. On top of this buyers still have to travel to the salons and set all of their responsibilities aside to get a service performed in a salon. This problem affects men and women, in all ages and lifestyles all over the world. Especially in Norway with our remote landscape, hectic lifestyles and beauty needs always developing. Nabostylistens solution to the mentioned problems above is a one-stop-hub for buying and selling beauty services. Giving a full and uniformed overview of stylists and their services within your area with prices, pictures, duration, descriptions, bio of stylist, timeslots available and a booking flow. Customers can choose to get the service done at their location to fit beauty needs into their hectic everyday life. Stylists will only need nabostylisten for all of their duties, booking overview, chat, services and profile, income section, working schedule and a platform to showcase their business. Nabostylisten is founded by Tomas Erdis, a well known and sought after makeup artist with over 13 years of experience. Tomas is one of Norways absolute best and most booked stylists. He has worked with brands, celebrities, other profiles and regular customers. He noticed that normal people did not know if they were allowed to book him for his services, or how to do it. He has been delivering services at location all of his career and noticed that for other stylists this was not the regular way to work. He was able to meet his clients needs by travelling to them, and in doing so he became very popular. 
Tomas knows what it’s like to be on your own, trying to get a name for yourself in the business. He wants to help other stylists so that they do not have to go through the same challenges as he did. He also wants buyers to be able to express their beauty needs and for everyone, no matter who you are to get beauty services that suit you!

REPAIRABLE COMMUNITY

There are too few products repaired, and e.g. clothes therefore have a short lifespan and end up as waste before their time. Brands have a producer responsibility for the entire life cycle of the products they put on the market, and must contribute to the product's increased lifespan to avoid waste production. However, they do not have global scalable solutions for this, but have inefficient expensive and manual processes (difficult to communicate around) which make most employees avoid repairs, and would rather give a new product, or the money back. Whether they offer repair is challenging. There are no global solutions that collect repair data for learning and improving design. Consumers have, always!, 1 or more garments awaiting repair, but the service is not available in the correct format. Repairers have challenges in scaling, employing and growing their company into a modernized service offer and a more predictable and appealing "call to action". The problem is common because we have developed habits influenced by "Planned obsolescence". The problem we solve are solved firstly for brands and retailers. Consumers are asking for products with a longer lifespan, and the European Commission is doing the same. Branded goods will in the future HAVE to repair complaints if it is not cheaper to give a new one. In practice, consumers will expect repairs from responsible parties. The brands are global and do not have a system for complaints and repair management, which is easy to communicate internally and externally. Secondly, consumers have broken products, but poor access to certified repairers outside the city centres, and too little information and management of expectations. Local services that brands back, and transport solutions increase accessibility and use and extend the customer relationship with brand. For the repairers, digitization offers opportunities for scaling, interaction with more people in a more efficient way, learning, as well as the capacity to use digital customized products and better purchasing conditions. We develop an API, a plug and play solution for the landing pages of manufacturers, brands and retailers. It is a "white labelled" fully integrated saas API, similar to how brands have integrations for payment and logistics. Then all stakeholders have a common point, for inquiries about damaged products, and the API supports the producer responsibility scheme/compliance. All product-level data will be collected here for feedback and improvements in design as well as sustainability reporting. Complaints are handled automatically through a decision tree linked to regulations. It makes customer service more efficient. Different transport solutions/delivery addresses with different costs will be offered. Local repairers will be certified and, with a simple interface, will receive more assignments from more customers. They will have a structure behind them that can help professionalize the operation as well as respond to the EU's requirements for documentation. Consumers will get fixed prices, predictability in the service and the possibility of personalisation.
