Cavai AS was founded in December 2017 with the goal of revolutionizing online advertising. User experiences have largely been neglected on the web, and Cavai saw early on that chatbot technology, which has initially been used in customer service, could be a wonderfully good advertising product. Usually, chatbot technology is used as customer service on its own website, while Cavai's platform is built to be able to use chatbot technology on millions of websites for contextual advertising. The team today consists of 15 people, and the product has been launched in Norway, Finland, Sweden and the UK with 50 paying customers. Customers are very pleased and report that Cavai's technology is having a very good effect on completed advertising campaigns. Cavai will have its first month of positive operating results in October and looks to have sales of around 3 million in 2019. Next year will be a big growth year, where we have budgeted with a turnover of NOK 41 million. This growth has also been discussed by Finansavisen, where as part of Finansavisen's web-TV series "Vext", Cavai filmed his meeting with advertising legend Sir Marting Sorell in London. Med-Storm's Skin Conductance Algesimeter (SCA) uses the principle of skin conductance to measure pain, allowing us to titrate the right amount of pain medication for each, individual patient. This award-winning technology is not affected by changes in blood circulation, heart rate, hypotensia, environmental temperatures, and hypoxia, and shows low variation between individuals at the same level of pain. The pain monitor can be used on patients as young as 23 weeks of gestational age, as well as geriatric patients. MS is currently working on a miniaturized and wireless version of the SCA.

WiSub Acquired by Transmark Subsea The acquisition will strengthen their ability to provide solutions for the growing market for underwater autonomy and wireless drone docking. WiSub is an ocean technology company based in Bergen, Norway. They supply patented, innovative, and flexible wet-mate pinless underwater connection systems to international markets. Transmark Subsea manufactures a broad range of qualified cable systems for the distribution of electrical signals, power, and fiber optics to the offshore subsea industry. Transmark Subsea design, produce, and service all kinds of cables, umbilical- or tether systems, used on ROVs/ROTs, cables used for power and control of "permanently"​ installed subsea components like wellhead systems, pumps, manifolds, and transducer arrays. Based in Kongsberg - the heart of the Subsea Valley - Kongsberg Ferrotech is utilizing world-leading competence to develop the first-ever automated solution, the Oktapous, for riser cleaning, NDT inspection, maintenance (coating), and structural repair (glass/carbon fiber reinforcement). The repair will be performed inside the patented Habitat - allowing for composite repairs subsea and in the splash zone while offering quality as if the repair was performed in a laboratory environment. The Oktapous will offer the client around 50% cost reduction, together with improved quality and significantly reduced HSE risk compare to existing solutions by removing the need for rope access, divers, and ROVs. Kongsberg Ferrotech is partly funded by the Malaysian-based oil and gas company, Petronas Charigali. This ensures us access to the market needs during development, an offshore platform for prototype testing, and the critical first client for market acceptance. Workability is a web-based enterprise application empowering leaders to take responsibility for employees workplace welfare and employee follow-up, and allowing employees to be at work as much as their health allows. Sick-leave and workplace welfare is a problem escalating globally. As mental illness and complex health problems rise, new workplace challenges are created. Employers need new tools and practices to help deal with this adequately. Norway has the highest sick leave in the OECD, costing the state and employers over 50 billion kroner each year. 70% of sick leave is avoidable (NAV) and could be prevented through better employee follow-up and workplace facilitation. By solving structural barriers that exist today we help employers co-ordinate efforts with doctors, NAV and other stakeholders to keep people at work and prevent unnecessary sick-leave. Our tools help leaders follow-up their teams, create an open dialogue and an inclusive approach to workplace welfare and how they organise work, key factors in preventing sickness and workplace absence.

Einka Økonomi' solution aims to prevent financial stress by providing knowledge, coaching and necessary tools to address the effect financial difficulties can have on life areas such as mental health, legal disputes and family economy planning. EINKA wants to be a completely neutral information channel, that employers can rely on to bring their employees closer to financial wellness. We are developing a knowledge hub that will help users in differing financial situations, building a tailor-made journey comprising of interactive financial tools, tutorials, strategy guides and virtual coaching with the purpose of achieving greater financial wellness for the user and increased productivity as a result - for the business. Our preliminary research has shown us that in the first quarter of 2019, the total amount of claims amounted to NOK 1 billion in Norwegian debt collection cases. In August of 2019, NAV stated that eight per cent of Norwegian employees had forced salary deductions. Personal economy subjects are not obligatory within the Norwegian schooling system, rather most people are educated on these topics via banks and other financial institutions, or often through following in their family's footsteps. This results in a knowledge gap and a hurdle for social mobility. As social entrepreneurs we have seen that nothing is being done to alleviate these problems in an effective way, so we have decided to take a stance, and commit to being the solution.
