Versiro develops software that accelerates the energy transition. Renewable electricity is great for the environment but difficult to plan because its production depends on uncertain weather conditions. Versiro develops an AI copilot that helps renewable producers make smart decisions in real time while considering these uncertainties. This assists the integration of renewable energy and increases its profitability, two key factors to enable the green energy transition. Versiro was founded by researchers at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and follows the observation that, in electric power systems, the traditional pipelines from research to industry are too outdated to keep up with the fast-paced world of machine learning.

RESPINOR is a privately-owned medical device company, founded in Oslo, 2015. We have developed an objective measure of breathing for critically ill patients within intensive care. The technology provides precise, continuous and real-time information of diaphragm function, our main breathing muscle, to increase the quality of care and reducing costs. RESPINOR’s technology is the winner of Horizon 2020 both in phase I and II. We are addressing an unmet medical need because every breath counts.

Their mission is to offer great alternatives to the traditional all-weather jacket, through high-quality garments and shoes that can be worn on any occasion and in any kind of weather. Their technical and waterproof products, designed for a functional and urban lifestyle, are now sold by over a hundred retailers in Norway, Germany, France, and the UK in addition to their two concept stores in Oslo and Bergen. BRGN set a new turnover record in 2021, at 25.8 MNOK. Up from 16. MNOK in 2020.

Through ESG-NRG's Marine Offset Platform (MOP) we enable the maritime transportation industry to easily calculate their vessel emissions, neutralize their CO2 impact with our independently rated database of carbon projects, and demonstrate their commitment to Net Zero on our public carbon ledger.

Pinovo AS is a Norwegian scale up that has developed, patented, proven and commercialised surface maintenance technology that stops Ocean Paint Microplastic emissions. Ocean Paint Microplastic emissions are a large but little known problem that we estimate could be generating between 1.5m and 2.25m tonnes of ocean pollution each year (https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2020/09/how-to-reduce-microplastics-from-paint/). Pinovo has developed a clean, circular dustless grit blasting solution, which stops these emissions and which is also up to 60% more cost efficient than the traditional methods of surface maintenance for spot blasting.

Startup Migrants is a company based in Berlin and Oslo. We help cities to boost job creation. We are passionate about collecting and analyzing data that can help cities to solve their challenges. Our data is collected from 15 countries, 45 cities and over 200 in depth interviews with policy makers, entrepreneurs, NGOs and migrant founders. We also have created Startup Preschool, a 3-day crash course in entrepreneurship with and for young multicultural talents. We have so far done 84 Preschools and planning to many more in Norway, Germany, Austria and the UK and other countries. Our more than 1000 participants are now part of an acive alumni group and go on applying to accelerators and starting companies.

The company employs over 60 certified Apple experts and has a capacity exceeding a quarter of a million repairs on a yearly basis for the 19 locations spread throughout the Nordics. The revenue for 2019 landed at €22,4M, showing a 20% annual growth. We primarily drive a B2B set-up, having customers within the insurance industry, carriers, and larger well-known enterprises, as well as municipalities and SMEs. Now, we also aim to gain broader recognition amongst consumers.

Norway's first online consulting company. We started out with accountants, and kept it that way while we built our IT-platform and overall business structure. Clean Sea Solutions AS is a Norwegian Ocean Tech company that develop innovative solutions to prevent and reduce plastic waste in the sea. Our products are designed to collect plastic waste in and below the water surface in lakes, water channels, rivers and river mouths, harbors, marinas, and other close coastal areas. This year, and in collaboration with the City of Oslo, Clean Sea Solutions (CSS) is launching the CSS Aqua-Drone, an all-electric, autonomous floating waste-collecting aqua-drone in the Port of Oslo. Using a combination of computer vision and remote sensing based on ultrasound or 3D laser scanning (LIDAR) technologies. The robot gathers trash and stores it on board, disposes it at a dedicated docking station, and recharges for the next mission. Our solutions are advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals with technologies that reducing plastic pollution, contributing to the sustainability of the ocean, and improve the quality and sustainability of water resources by addressing the impact of plastic waste inflow.

Eir of Norway is the exclusive exporter of Norwegian red sea cucumber.Eir of Norway is developing Premium Norwegian seafood products for the Chinese market. The business model is built on key strategic partnerships throughout the value chain, from research, production, market development and sales. The company was founded in November 2017, won “Startup of the year” in March and had its first paying customers in July 2018.
