BitPet is an AR multiplayer mobile game making physical activity fun and social. Each player has a pet whose health depends on the activity from their step counter, and players can meet each other's pets in multiplayer AR which is fun and social. The idea for the game is based on research by a professor of game technology and co-founder of Kahoot! The game is currently in early beta and will be launched commercially in 2023.

Emberly is a Stavanger-based startup founded in 2020. The company was born out of a desire to help people learn better and to help them manage information overload. Based in Kongsberg - the heart of the Subsea Valley - Kongsberg Ferrotech is utilizing world-leading competence to develop the first-ever automated solution, the Oktapous, for riser cleaning, NDT inspection, maintenance (coating), and structural repair (glass/carbon fiber reinforcement). The repair will be performed inside the patented Habitat - allowing for composite repairs subsea and in the splash zone while offering quality as if the repair was performed in a laboratory environment. The Oktapous will offer the client around 50% cost reduction, together with improved quality and significantly reduced HSE risk compare to existing solutions by removing the need for rope access, divers, and ROVs. Kongsberg Ferrotech is partly funded by the Malaysian-based oil and gas company, Petronas Charigali. This ensures us access to the market needs during development, an offshore platform for prototype testing, and the critical first client for market acceptance.
