SonoClear AS develops an acoustic contrast fluid to remove noise in ultrasound images, used during brain tumor surgery to guide tumor removal. The goal is to be sure that all tumor is removed, as total resection improves patient outcomes. The technology is developed by neurosurgeons at St.Olavs hospital and engineers at Sintef. The technology is patented worldwide and is developed as a medical device according to ISO13485. The core team consists of CTO, Medical advisor, Quality manager, and Regulatory officer. SonoClear plan for market access in USA and EU in 4q20 and 4q21, respectively.

We want to make the process of monitoring and comparing mortgage rates as easy as possible by creating transparency. AutoGlove is the first product from Ecocentric Innovation. A product development company with a sustainability focus. We are a forward-thinking team with several years of technological experience, and new innovations in the pipeline. The Idea for AutoGlove originated when one of our founders; Monty Hatfield visited a gas station and witnessed the unhygienic, extensive, and ineffective use of disposable gloves. During his studies at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences, he recruited a team to develop the product AutoGlove. Thus, Ecocentric Innovation was born and we now work with companies across many sectors to reduce unnecessary disposable glove waste.

Versiro develops software that accelerates the energy transition. Renewable electricity is great for the environment but difficult to plan because its production depends on uncertain weather conditions. Versiro develops an AI copilot that helps renewable producers make smart decisions in real time while considering these uncertainties. This assists the integration of renewable energy and increases its profitability, two key factors to enable the green energy transition. Versiro was founded by researchers at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and follows the observation that, in electric power systems, the traditional pipelines from research to industry are too outdated to keep up with the fast-paced world of machine learning.

Biozep is discovering and developing first-in-class drug products for the treatment of severe eye diseases which can lead to vision loss and where it is a high unmet medical need. Biozep has discovered novel drug substances based on bioactive lipids which modulate central pathways involved in the pathogenesis of eye diseases. Targets and biomarkers are identified based on a system biology approach combined with in-depth knowledge about bioactive lipids, their endogenous synthesis and mechanisms of action. Biozep has made a prototype drug product based on our lead compound for topical administration and the product will be tested in animal models in 2018. Our goal is to start clinical studies in 2020. Biozep is a company depending on both internal and external resources. Biozep has established its own laboratory in Oslo in order to do synthesis, purification, quality control and chemical development in-house. The biological testing of the drug substances is performed in collaboration with carefully selected contract research organizations both in Europe and the USA. In order to reach the market as fast as possible and to reduce risk, Biozep will seek strategic partnerships early in the drug development phase. Biozep seeks partners with complementary competence and with resources to conduct clinical trials and with market access. We are already in dialogue with potential partners and hope to sign an agreement in 2018-19.

Today, most industries are digitized, and thus more exposed to attacks from the outside. With technology from Secure-NOK, such attacks will be detected early, and thus avoid damage and downtime. Secure-NOK has developed patented sensors which are installed in a OT network, and which capture and report any abnormal traffic. The company has sensors for both networks, end-stations and PLC systems.
