Kvikk Forsikring

Kvikk is a B2C Insurtech company disrupting the travel insurance sector through our mobile platform. Designed with millennials, Gen Z and their expectations in mind, our vision is clear: 
Revolutionizing the way we protect ourselves while exploring the world. We are leveraging GEO-fencing technology to distribute, personalize and offer quotes tailored to your location in real-time. No more hassle with paperwork or waiting in line. We are 100% digital and are providing a full insurance experience in the pockets of everyone leaving their homes. In Norway 50% of all young adults don't have travel insurance, and they perceive insurance as complicated, expensive and unavailable. At the same time, the insurance industry lacks digitisation with only 40% of all insurance sales taking place on a digital platform. We have developed travel insurance tailored to the specific needs of each traveller, all within a convenient and user-friendly app. By harnessing the power of GEO-fencing we ensure travellers receive seamless coverage when and where they need it, offering a level of flexibility unseen in the industry. We have built the insurance product, and we are going to build the app. Simen started working on Kvikk while studying Innovation & Management, and has previously been travelling around the world several times and do understand the importance of travel insurance. We honestly believe that insurance companies should do better. In this digital world, insurance should be more available for the customer. There should be possible to buy insurance, get an overview and file claims within minutes, and always available in your own pocket. We also believe in fair and transparent products, where the customer actually gets a personalised products tailored to their own travel pattern. We want to rewrite the rules of insurance by making it available, fair, easy and personalised.

Kobbr

Kobbr is on a mission to lead craftsmen, such as electricians, painters and carpenters, into a data driven future. Craftsmen are used to old and outdated software that requires several training days to master. We are building a product that our customers actually love to use and requires no training to get started. Our approach sets us apart from traditional software companies in the industry. We prioritize integrating seamlessly with existing tools, rather than replacing them. Kobbr simplifies workflows and decreases manual tasks by offering a modern alternative to pen, paper, and Excel. Since our software can be easily integrated with craftsmen’s existing software, it shortens our sales processes significantly and opens the opportunity for product-led growth. Our goal is to develop an inclusive work atmosphere and assemble a varied team, as we encourage individuals from all different backgrounds to submit their applications and join our collective journey.

Consigli

Consigli AS develops "self-designing engineers" who will disrupt the way we plan and design the buildings and infrastructure of future society. To achieve this, we develop a SaaS platform/application using different aspects of AI (Artificial Intelligence) like machine learning, mathematical optimization, and NLP. The service platform is developed in close cooperation with large, established real estate companies that provide data and insights.

A7 was founded in USA late 2015. It was started as a movement dedicated to helping others reaching their full potensial. On the back of all the shirts there is a patented grip that prevents the bar from sliding when you do squats. When you do bench it keeps your body from sliding. Its usable for many other purposes in training as well but that´s the two big ones. 2016 was a true adventure for the Europe company.

Adding stories to your webpage, listing or email is often a lot easier than people think. Most of our users are able to embed stories by simply copying and pasting a snippet.

Korall Engineering

Korall Engineering AS is a design engineering firm part of StartupLab Bergen, a member of the GCE Ocean Technology Cluster, which employs the latest high-end design optimization technologies, our team develops automates product design workflows to reduce engineering and lead times and redesigns existing industrial products. Through the use of Artificial Intelligence, we help reduce material waste and production costs, increase efficiency, and lessen environmental impact. We help the reduction of carbon emissions, avoiding the transportation of parts demanded. Korall Engineering operates in various industries: oil & gas, maritime, automotive, and medical. We have developed a custom device for gathering data from smart electricity meters, and on top of this data we are building services for reducing power peaks in the electricity grid. HomeFair is an AI company dedicated to providing insight into the real estate market. We offer services that leverage AI to enable users to make informed decisions when selling a home. We use AI to predict home value and the price every real estate agent is able to sell a given home for in Norway. HomeFair increases market transparency for users, provisions the highest market price for home sellers and reduces risk associated with price uncertainty in the housing market.

JET Seafood AS

JET Seafood AS  has developed, owns and operate the www.seafoodportal.com, a digitalised marketplace for seafood trading and belonging services. The company was founded late 2017 and have won several business competitions in Bergen as the most promising start-up company.
