Fyrlyd means Lighthouse Sound. We are an indie label based on the windswept Lista peninsula on the West coast of Norway. We create, perform and release music with a distinct, unique Nordic sound.

Marin Design is located in Kolvereid in Nord-Trøndelag County, and was founded in 2006. Our staff include engineers and skilled technicians with experience from several different disciplines within the marine and maritime sector. There are many companies within maritime industries such as fisheries, aquaculture and logistics in Kolvereid and in close-lying regions (e.g. Vikna). These companies are also some of the main clients in our professional activities, which are primarily focused on design of vessels, covering all aspects from hull shape to interior machinery and equipment. We are also qualified for certifying deck-mounted cranes. We have designed a series of different vessels, including service vessels for the fish farming industry, tugs and fishing vessels. In addition, we have experience in modifying existing vessels and specialized design of vessels for specific purposes. Since 2011 our quality system have been certified by Bureau Veritas, according to ISO 9001:2008 - Design and construction, stability calculations, and technological services and innovative environmentally correct solutions in the field of marine and maritime enterprises, nationally and internationally.

Biltong er eit tradisjonelt tørka og krydra kjøtprodukt frå Sør-Afrika. Ulike typar kjøt kan bli brukt, som storfe, struts og vilt. Ordet biltong stammar frå to nederlandske ord, «bil» og «tong». Bil betyr «rumpe» og tong betyr «strimmel» eller «tunge». Me i Doms Biltong bruker berre norsk storfekjøt i våre produkt. The company is founded and run by Constance and Tonje, two Norwegian product designers with extensive background from development and production of tableware. And while sustainability courses and seminars convey knowledge, it remains challenging to keep the energy high, the culture empowered, and the knowledge put into practice. The Hive Initiative’s Mini Climate Summit makes it easy to address these challenges. It brings employees together in real time to learn science-based facts and then gives them a forum to collaborate on solutions. With ideas captured and implemented, KPIs are met, ESG requirements are fulfilled and culture is strengthened. The result: more minds that help make company sustainability more active, enabled and empowered, which in turn makes society more educated and resilient. We are a group of people with high levels of climate anxiety- but also high levels of optimism. We want to use our skills in design and communication to make it easier for everyone to stay educated, hopeful and empowered, which will make it much easier for all of us to adapt to our changing world. As the founder, I wanted to work on solutions every day, and did so while having a day job. After 4 years, myself and my collaborators have built up a good product prototype, solid relationships with other climate orgs, and solid vision of what we hope to achieve. So it was the right time to focus on this fully. I really do believe that all of us want a world that is fair for everyone and is in harmony nature. We just have to figure out how to get there.

Vandre is a young Norwegian tech company with the ambition to impact the environmental situation by making textile brands succeed in reducing their footprint by making clothes and garments live longer. The world’s garbage piles are growing. In 2021, 40.000 tons of used fashion clothes ended up in the Atacama desert in Chile as their final destination. This is just one example of how the textile industry is not even close to being sustainable. The sports and textile industries face strict requirements and a major upheaval, when the EU is planning to introduce sustainability reporting and requirements to offer consumers repair of products in 2025. Our platform connects brands in the industry with certified repair centres and facilitates a seamless user journey with logistics and payment options. The platform is also a sought-after tool at repair centres, as it helps to make their daily operations more efficient. We have currently launched in Norway, and plan to expand to the rest of the Nordics and beyond in the future. Our HQ is in a co-working space office in downtown Oslo – a two-minute walk from Nationaltheatret, where we share office with a small PE fund, and have lunch break together with. We also have employees in other cities working remotely. As a small team, some of us are quite often on the go and strive to stick to our digital workplace practices as much as possible. This enables the whole team to work quite flexibly when needed, together with some well-appreciated face time at the office as often as possible. Today the team is communicating openly using Slack and ClickUp to organise daily work and product development.
