Vår historie Mikalsen Utvikling ble stiftet av Andrè Mikalsen i 2015. Etter mange år med utvikling av nettsider ble det ofte et tomrom og ønske om å bidra mer når nettsidene var ferdig levert. Spørsmålet som hele tiden dukket opp var om kunden faktisk kunne få enda flere besøkende til siden. Selv om nettsidene så grafisk bra ut, var de optimale for konvertering til salg? Dermed startet ferden inn i markedsføring og de digitale kanalene. Etter mange kurs og sene netter ved siden av full jobb, var det på tide å omsette teori til praksis. Vår første kunde fikk over 30 nye kunder den første måneden, og måtte ansette 2 nye medarbeidere for å håndtere den drastisk økende kundestrømmen. Å levere digital markedsføring med slike enormt positive resultater, er så sterkt for oss at vi aldri kommer til å slutte å skape resultater. Å være med på å endre livene til menneskene bak bedriftene er en ubeskrivelig rørende følelse. I dag har vi et sterkt fokus på å hjelpe små og mellomstore bedrifter, da våre tjenester kan utgjøre en stor forskjell i bedriftens hverdag.

Vi skal gjøre fysioterapi mer tilgjengelig ved å samle online booking for fysioterapitjenester i én landsdekkende plattform. Hovedfokus skal være å tilrettelegge for booking av videokonsultasjon, chat og hjemmebesøk, men også ordinær timebooking. On-demand tjenester kan også være aktuelt. Eksisterende bookingtjenester, og journalsystemene som tilbyr dem, er i dag preget av utdatert UI/UX og tilbudet for sluttbrukere er fragmentert og lite brukervennlig fordi mange terapeuter finner det for kostbart å implementere. Fysionett skal gjøre bookingprosessen enklere, raskere og rimeligere for både klienter og terapeuter. Sluttbrukere vil få et langt bedre tilbud, mens fysioterapeutene på sin side vil nå ut til et landsdekkende marked. Fysionett vil også gjøre det mulig for nyetablerte eller terapeuter som nettopp har fullført utdanning å selge sin kompetanse uten å være tilknyttet en klinikk eller arbeidsgiver. Fysionett skal bli Norges første og største plattform for online fysioterapi hvor fysioterapeuter fra hele landet kan registrere seg, opprette en profil og tilby sine tjenester til kunder over hele landet. Forretningsmodellen bygger på tjenesteformidling i et tosidig marked, ikke veldig ulikt plattformer som Uber, Lyft eller AirBnb og retter seg hovedsakelig mot det private markedet. Den pågående COVID-19 pandemien har fungert som en katalysator for denne ideen. Siden plattformen tilrettelegger for at terapeuter skal nå ut til sine kunder i form av videokonsultasjon og chat. På denne måten får de muligheten til å opprettholde sin virksomhet mens pandemien pågår.

At the same time the patience level to comb through websites for relevant information is decreasing. The objective of carryon.bike is to provide and suggest information that is helpful to anyone from the cycling community. There will be many who have started considering cycle for commuting, exercising , or weekend gateways. Even tourists would prefer bike tours. So a global platform to cater to needs of all and encourage more and more adoption of cycling to adhere to the new norms post COVID outbreak and at the same time contribute to a greener planet Example, if a visitor to the portal is looking for renting bikes for touring a city during the weekend and wishes to rent an e-bike for few hours, showing the person a shop that rents mountain bikes and Race Bikes ONLY, would irritate the person. This also gives more exposure to the shops and brands. Another example to explain how we wish to solve problems: When casual office commuters wish to buy a bike, they would feel comfortable getting advise from an expert. Carryon.bike becomes the platform where domain experts would answer to practical questions and guide them to make the right choice in current scenario based on the person’s age or city or road conditions etc. This idea sparked during the corona times when I found friends and family and even celebrities getting anxious to go out of their houses for exercising, sightseeing and some fresh air. The regular office goers who were dependent upon public transport were thinking of walking down to office but felt it was time consuming. The young adventurous population like the high school students or university students wanted to take up cycling tours during weekends and felt they could not find enough bike routes. It was evident that there will be even more needs for cycling and with demands will be a need to get more and more info, or consult people for unexplored or unknown topics. Progbit is an independent design center helping you to convert your idea into your product. We have wide knowledge of electronic design covering all aspects from hardware to embedded systems including processor and FPGAs. Our main focus is implementing advanced functions in FPGAs and ASICs. ProgBit was founded April 1st 2014 by three experienced designers from Nera/Ceragon and Mikrokrets. We have broad knowledge of radio, modem, telecom, datacom and ultrasound. There are many potential pitfalls when designing FPGA and ASICs. To avoid these, Progbit has a strong focus on design methodologies. This includes partition of the design, naming conventions, clock domain crossing, state machines, reset methodologies and so on. All this is to avoid design errors that can be so hard to debug. ProgBit has also focus on making the FPGA code readable and reusable. This includes sensible signal names and heavy commenting in the code. This makes it easy for anyone to take the code and do improvements in the future. Our target is to design the FPGA together with you and improve your knowledge during the design process. Hence you will be able to maintain and further develop the design afterwards.

Picterus is an app under development designed to monitor jaundice in newborns. Untreated jaundice in newborns is responsible for more than 100,000 deaths and a substantial number of permanent brain damages each year. More than three quarters of these deaths occur in the poorest regions of the world, in sub-Saharan Africa and south Asia. Cheap treatment is available through e.g. sunlight, but the diagnostic devices in use today cost around 10,000 dollars, making them practically unavailable in low-resource settings.
