CleanCup AS

CleanCup's on a mission to empower people with periods through high quality products and information. Every month, 1.8 billion people across the world menstruate. They need safe period products, and disposable products just won't do anymore. Let’s be honest; Tampons suck. No, really, they do! Both literally and figuratively. Tampons absorb period blood, but it does not differentiate it from your body's natural moisture, and it absorbs that too, which can cause infections and skin irritation. And besides: We use 11 000 disposable period products each, causing tons of cotton and plastic waste. One tampon takes than 100 years to degrade; this means all of the tampons you have ever used are still in our environment somewhere. Pads and tampons are not really comfortable, practical, sustainable, or even cheap. It’s just what’s been available. Do we want this as a legacy for our planet and our kids? No. But we have the solution: CleanCup. The Norwegian menstrual cup. Uniquely designed for comfort. Designed in collaboration with hundreds of women.

Every year 282 million metric tonnes of plastic waste is produced worldwide, yet only 15% of this is recycled. This needs to change. AION’s purpose is to industrially scale a circular plastic economy. This democratizes earning potential and give alternative to advertising-based business model. Site also aggregate and classify each article based on location, language, and type of content, enabling personal filters.

Sterk Saus® har et brennhett forhold til chili – faktisk like heftig som varmeeksplosjonen du får av en modig, munnfull chilisaus. Vi elsker at smaksløkene våre blir utfordret og strukket. Og apropos løk, så er chili et voksende segment, akkurat som hvitløk var på 70/80-tallet. Kun råvarer av ypperste kvalitet blir med i våre sauskjeler. Chilimagien skjer i våre moderne produksjonslokaler i Halden, hvor vi tilbereder, koker og tapper hver eneste chiliflaske for hånd. Våre to viktigste ingredienser i sausen er chili og kjærlighet til faget. Dette kombinerer vi med moderne produksjonsmetoder, som sikrer kvalitet i alle ledd.

Scandinavian Treats

Bringing Scandinavian taste and culture to the world. We are a start-up that sends curated or custom snack boxes to the USA, UK, Australia and Canada. Right now, we have a one-off shop on our website, but we are going to be moving to a subscription model where every two months you get an excellent pack of snacks, chocolates, chips, healthy snacks from Norway and other countries in Scandinavia.

Favuseal is a Norwegian technology company that has developed an ultra-thin passive fire protection technology. The proprietary technology is the foundation for derived products in the form of easy-to-use wrap-on solutions in order to provide unprecedented level of fire protection to safeguard human lives and commercial assets. The Favuseal technology was included into NORSOK in 2019, and is now getting attention on a global scale from Tier 1 asset owners. The core of the business is revolving around the ultra-thin TOTAL DESIGN INTEGRITY concepts "Powered by Favuseal" that has been developed for cables and pipework. An impressive Intellectual Property Rights database is supporting the commercial initiatives, and several Tier 1 partnerships are about to be signed. The IPR will provide ongoing inherent protection to licences and partners tapping into the value proposition of Favuseal. The company aims for the vision of "Introducing extreme ultra-thin passive fire protection Everywhere!". The company is currently in ramp-up state, and will invest into digital initiatives and human resources going forward. The company is currently experiencing a drive into use of the technology within green tech such as wind mills and hydrogen, and will actively continue to pursue such leads going forward. The company has developed 3 different platforms in 3 different segments where each platform can cater for ANY fire scenario attributable to the specific segment. No other company has the tech to do the same. The company will actively pursue value-added stakeholders going forward that can help to contribute to realising the potential of the various segments.

The Company Arcticode is developing an easy to use mobile order and payment service to help food and beverage venues capture feedback while at the same time creating better loyalty from guests by incentivizing feedback through loyalty points. The issue We solve an issue common in the bar, venue and club scene. Customer insight and feedback. There is often less dialogue between guests and staff, and guests these days demand more and more from every visit. This occurs especially in the younger generation starting with millennials and younger. They constantly seek the best experience and will move on from a venue quite fast if expectations are not meet. Most venues in both the food and beverage sector could benefit from having a simple solution to better capture feedback while at the same time providing a simple mobile order and payment solution. The Solution Our solution combines ordering and feedback into one service. The service lets you order and pay while out for food and drinks with your phone as this is becoming the preferred way today while also capturing feedback in-app which provides cash points. These can then be used for discounted meals, snacks, goods, drinks etc. (not alcoholic beverages – Norway edition). We create a win-win situation of having guests leave feedback while also being enrolled in a loyalty program which creates higher interest and recurring visits. Why we do what we do Having worked in the food and beverage service sector you may encounter a lot of less friendly feedback at times, but this is often individuals who do not represent the majority of guests. But when you just don’t know this can make a workday long and tiresome, and rarely inspire anyone to provide a better service. But regardless, you start to understand your guests even better, you can facilitate for an even better service and experience, and this will in turn create a better day for both staff and guest. As a guest, you simply want what you came for, a good experience and a good service. Regardless of what the situation for the staff is. Having a simple way to both order and leave feedback while gaining something from it will create a mutually beneficial situation. And that’s what we have in common. Wavefoil

Wavefoil er en maritim startup med mål om å redusere drivstofforbruk og CO2-utslipp fra internasjonal skipsfart. Vårt patenterte løsning er allerede installert på tre fartøy med svært gode tilbakemeldinger. Reisen har vært et eventyr så langt, men det stopper ikke her. Er du interessert i å være med på reisen? Ta kontakt! Wavefoil leverer inntrekkbare baugfoiler for redusert drivstofforbruk og økt komfort i bølger. Selskapet baserer seg på forskning fra NTNU, og har i perioden 2016-2020 tatt konseptet inntrekkbare baugfoiler fra en idé til et kommersielt produkt. I september 2019 ble det første skipet med løsningen sjøsatt. Etter mer enn ett år i drift og til sammen tre leveranser, har selskapet nå fått demonstrert drivstoffbesparelse, bevegelsesdemping og driftssikkerhet i fullskala. Selskapet skal de neste årene vokse fra å være en start-up til å bli en industriell leverandør. Til det trengs det dyktige folk. Til tross for suksessen hittil, har selskapet kun en håndfull ansatte i dag. Nye ansatte vil derfor få føle på både friheten og ansvarsfølelsen med å jobbe i en liten bedrift. After a visit to Canada in 2012, two sumptuous, LED flashing ugly christmas sweaters came with us home to winter Oslo, Norway. The sweaters evoked this childlike happiness over the Christmas celebration, both in us and in everyone else when we wore them to Christmas parties and we noticed that we wanted more of this feeling. We simply wanted more of such sweaters! It was easier said than done in 2012. But, if you do not find what you are looking for, you can make it yourself...so then we did it. We are building our business because we want to help solve problems, and one of the main reasons startups fail is either wrong team, no market or no funding.
