Software is eating education. Technology is used to modernise education. TERP has redefined the concept of a book by making it interactive. In its easiest form interaction can be films and animations integrated in a book. Tests and feedback on learning is one step further. In its most complex form, interaction is customised books generated for each reader, based on mapped preferences used as input in algorithms. The first book using this technology will have 114,000 potential versions. The TERP technology is not only redefining the concept of a book. It is interrupting the value chain in the industry. The technology provides a new and dynamic way of distribution. Competitors trying to copy the technology, not only has to figure out the code, they must change the way of doing business.

The idea of creating DIGS started with three enthusiastic people who wanted to make space for innovation in Trondheim. They started working on the idea in 2011 and acquired the space we are currently located in in the summer of 2013. The word DIGS means workplace and living space.

High levels of wind noise are a health and safety hazard for motorcycle riders. Noise levels can exceed 110 decibels at highway riding, but also reach dangerously high levels even at city-riding speeds. 95% of riders want a quieter helmet. Current measures to combat noise levels in helmets have yielded very limited results. DAAL Noise Control Systems is a Norwegian start-up tech company founded in 2016 by acoustician and motorcyclist Dag Loe and physicist Sigmund Birkeland. DAAL is currently developing an active noise control system (ANC) for MC helmets. Our system dampens wind noise without interfering with important traffic noises like car horns and sirens.

Happystar ble etablert i desember 2014, av Elisabeth Haga; grafisk designer og idéutvikler. Etter flere år med Happy Star som hobby tok Elisabeth spranget i oktober 2017 og startet opp fulltid. I 2020 tok vi enda et nytt sprang og gikk fra enkeltmannsforetak til aksjeselskap med to nye ansatte og et lite utsalgssted i Randaberg sentrum. Etter et år her pakket vi igjen ned lageret, og flyttet til et større lager. Vi stortrives på vår nye adresse, randabergveien 308. Her har vi pakkeskap utenfor slik at våre kunder som bestiller 'Hent på lager' kan hente 24/7. AYR AS er bygget opp av to avdelinger, henholdsvis Kommunikasjon og Infrastruktur.Kommunikasjon leverer ytelsesbaserte kommunikasjonstjenester og markedsføring. Vi har derfor et stort fokus på det digitale. I Infrastrukturavdelingen leverer vi de tradisjonelle IT-tjenestene men den grunnleggende idéen er at vi skal bruke den nye teknologien, herunder skyteknologi. Vi ønsker å gjøre IT enkelt og kombinert med at tjenestene vi leverer er tett knyttet til hverandre – gir det kundene ett kontaktpunkt. Teknologi kan både påvirke samfunnet og miljøet. Alle som jobber i AYR ønsker at teknologisk utvikling skal dytte samfunnet i riktig retning, hvor teknologi gjør at alle kan bidra og bli hørt. Aid in Action is a voluntary organization that was started in 2008 by the then 19 year old Anne Louise Dæhlin (then Hübert), after visiting a poor village in Kenya. After initially helping to meet a dire need for food, Aid in Action has focused on sustainable development for the local community. We use social entrepreneurship to help poor people and children in need. We are – and want to be – a small and efficient organization that works closely with local, resourceful people in Africa. Our projects are mainly in Kenya. We are working within the areas of education, agriculture, stimulating local industry, water supply, roads, and assistance to orphans. The money we receive from our donors always goes directly to the projects, and none of it is spent on administrative costs on European side. This also means we pay no salaries to those who work with us here. We keep our donors updated with frequent posts on our web page and Facebook. Our team of material, regulatory, logistics and business development experts work with companies to make sure the products and processes fit their existing operations, meet quality requirements and importantly have a tangible impact towards reducing their use of virgin plastic, reducing their CO2 footprint, and avoiding a generation of plastic waste.

Young Lab, er en ny eksperimentel måde at arbejde sammen - om børns sunde liv og udvikling. Metoden er udviklet af Social IQ, og er blevet til gennem en samskabende design proces mellem børn, lærings- eksperter, pædagoger og daginstitutioner. YoungLab - er en form for hybrid mellem analog og digital eksperimenterende læring og evaluering for dagtilbud og indskoling. YoungLab hjælper daginstitutioner og skoler med at nå de nye læreplans mål; med øget evalueringspraksis og dokumentation, på en sjov og innovativ måde.
