Happystar ble etablert i desember 2014, av Elisabeth Haga; grafisk designer og idéutvikler. Etter flere år med Happy Star som hobby tok Elisabeth spranget i oktober 2017 og startet opp fulltid. I 2020 tok vi enda et nytt sprang og gikk fra enkeltmannsforetak til aksjeselskap med to nye ansatte og et lite utsalgssted i Randaberg sentrum. Etter et år her pakket vi igjen ned lageret, og flyttet til et større lager. Vi stortrives på vår nye adresse, randabergveien 308. Her har vi pakkeskap utenfor slik at våre kunder som bestiller 'Hent på lager' kan hente 24/7. På vårt lager jobber søstrene Elisabeth og Janne Cecilie med å pakke alle de fine bestillingene vi får her i nettbutikken. Vi i team Happy Star digger jobben vår!

Aid in Action is a voluntary organization that was started in 2008 by the then 19 year old Anne Louise Dæhlin (then Hübert), after visiting a poor village in Kenya. After initially helping to meet a dire need for food, Aid in Action has focused on sustainable development for the local community. We use social entrepreneurship to help poor people and children in need. We are – and want to be – a small and efficient organization that works closely with local, resourceful people in Africa. Our projects are mainly in Kenya. We are working within the areas of education, agriculture, stimulating local industry, water supply, roads, and assistance to orphans. The money we receive from our donors always goes directly to the projects, and none of it is spent on administrative costs on European side. Caudex is developing an app that will solve the problem with second hand textbooks not being forwarded or sold. Buying second hand textbooks for your next subject should be as easy as just searching for the subject-code or sending a message to students that have previously taken the subject. Solving this problem will contribute to the circular economy in addition it will also result in reducing our carbon footprint as we’re using more second hand material. We’ll mainly focus on existing students, but our platform will also be hugely resourceful for pre- and post students.
