Founded on the idea that drone technology can dramatically reduce maintenance costs and improve the efficiency of salmon production by monitoring environmental conditions. Slik virker undervannsdrone fra SeaSmart - Slik virker dronen i merden Dronen er trådløs og har ingen kabler, tau eller propeller som gjør den svært enkel å installere - bare legg den i merden. Den beveger seg i merden ved å endre oppdrift - drar inn litt vann for å synke og skyver det ut igjen for å flyte (patentert). Slik kan den måle hele merden i opp til 6 måneder på ett batteri. Den kan da heller ikke skade not eller annet i merden. -Vedlikeholdsfri over hele verden Data sendes via satellitt som gjør at den har dekning over hele verden. Den er vedlikeholdsfri og trenger ikke vask. Løsningen er kosteffektiv fordi den ikke er avhengig av strøm eller skap på merdkanten og kan leveres per post. -Måler i hele merden Dronen måler med 9 ulike sensorer i hele vannsøylen. Det inkluderer salinitet (haloklin), lys, fisketetthet (ekkolodd), oksygen (Aanderaa), temperatur, turbiditet, støy, bølgehøyde og strøm; samt sammensatte målinger av appetitt, stress og risiko. -Datatilgang og rapporteur Datavisning på nett og på mail. Frisørsalongene våre er av de mest besøkte i hele landet og vi får mye oppmerksomhet fra media, kunder og konkurrenter. Hos Cutters gjør vi ikke ting slik det alltid er blitt gjort. We become more sick from our private lives than our work lives (Modesta Olsen, 2007), and the modern family is the most common family structure (Almendingen, 2010). Which social structures can survive the strain of losing the qualities of faithfulness, honesty, and decency? Cynicism becomes our defense. Depression and feelings of emptiness are the prices we pay. Giving hugs, care, and trust to others not only bring greater happiness - it can also lead to better business. Icebreakercard.com is a new world movement to solve these social challenges. It fights for its vision: Love and friendship locally and globally! Our big goal is to improve your life quality. As social entrepreneurs, we are called the fourth sector which cooperates with the other three: private, public, and civic (Ellis, 2006) with an optimal mix of high tech & high touch! In this paper, I will present my research findings in the Western world (mainly Norway and USA) and my part of the solution as a social entrepreneur of Icebreakercard.com. A social entrepreneur has been described as our time's hero and heroines. We create solutions where none of the sectors have succeeded well enough. Bad relationships lead to health problems in the population across age and gender. Mental health conditions are now the key concern in all of the OECD countries. The employer and the community take the economic bill when the employee is on sick leave. The disease is a private matter, but absence is not. Aid in Action

Aid in Action is a voluntary organization that was started in 2008 by the then 19 year old Anne Louise Dæhlin (then Hübert), after visiting a poor village in Kenya. After initially helping to meet a dire need for food, Aid in Action has focused on sustainable development for the local community. We use social entrepreneurship to help poor people and children in need. We are – and want to be – a small and efficient organization that works closely with local, resourceful people in Africa. Our projects are mainly in Kenya. We are working within the areas of education, agriculture, stimulating local industry, water supply, roads, and assistance to orphans. The money we receive from our donors always goes directly to the projects, and none of it is spent on administrative costs on European side. This also means we pay no salaries to those who work with us here. We keep our donors updated with frequent posts on our web page and Facebook. Empowering coffee farmers and roasters to connect and improve coffee. Problem: Coffee farmers are the first hands in the supply chain, but also the ones that get paid the least. Coffee farmers are the most exposed, as with the changing environmental and financial climate, they hold the greatest risk of all: to not be able to sell their crop. At Tropiq we educate farmers on how to increase their overall quality. We also commit to buying a big part of their most prised coffees and bring them to market. In other words, we take pride in pre-committing to our suppliers/farmers each season so that they don't suffer any major losses. This commitment is not only financially driven, it's meant to give farmers the freedom to focus on quality and having a social impact.

The online market for funiture is only now getting started in Norway, and we are a part of it. Our main focus are four brands who focus on sustainability and recycled materials. And we are able to provide these to clients who live in such remote areas that they do not have access to these.

Favuseal is a Norwegian technology company that has developed an ultra-thin passive fire protection technology. The proprietary technology is the foundation for derived products in the form of easy-to-use wrap-on solutions in order to provide unprecedented level of fire protection to safeguard human lives and commercial assets. The Favuseal technology was included into NORSOK in 2019, and is now getting attention on a global scale from Tier 1 asset owners. The core of the business is revolving around the ultra-thin TOTAL DESIGN INTEGRITY concepts "Powered by Favuseal" that has been developed for cables and pipework. An impressive Intellectual Property Rights database is supporting the commercial initiatives, and several Tier 1 partnerships are about to be signed. The company aims for the vision of "Introducing extreme ultra-thin passive fire protection Everywhere!". The company is currently in ramp-up state, and will invest into digital initiatives and human resources going forward. The Digital Gardener

The Digital Gardener is a planning tool and gardening community for small-scale vegetable producers and home gardeners. We help growers plan what to grow, as well as when, where and how to grow it, so that they can focus on making their plants thrive. The demand for locally produced, sustainable food is increasing. Despite this, small-scale vegetable producers struggle to make an income. Predictable supply is essential to make efficient use of available market channels for direct to consumer sales, and a good plan is a key prerequisite to achieve this. The Digital Gardener aims to help small scale producers achieve the needed predictability by making it easy to create and maintain a good plan, and by helping them keep on top of work to be done throughout the growing season. The interest in gardening and homesteading has also surged during the corona crisis. Unfortunately, many aspiring home gardeners lack the needed growing competence to succeed with their gardening projects. Ambitious homesteaders face similar challenges as professional growers, as they need a good plan to ensure that they can harvest fresh produce for their family throughout the season. The Digital Gardener aims to help all growers succeed with their gardening projects, and will enable them to share information and experience to help and inspire others to succeed as well. The Digital Gardener is a software company. Our goal is to build software that contributes to an increase in the amount of food that is grown locally, as well as increased biodiversity in green spaces and home gardens. We partner with other organisations, people and companies that provide competence, heirloom seeds, tools and methods that can help us achieve this goal.

The Company Arcticode is developing an easy to use mobile order and payment service to help food and beverage venues capture feedback while at the same time creating better loyalty from guests by incentivizing feedback through loyalty points. The issue We solve an issue common in the bar, venue and club scene. Customer insight and feedback. There is often less dialogue between guests and staff, and guests these days demand more and more from every visit. This occurs especially in the younger generation starting with millennials and younger. They constantly seek the best experience and will move on from a venue quite fast if expectations are not meet. Most venues in both the food and beverage sector could benefit from having a simple solution to better capture feedback while at the same time providing a simple mobile order and payment solution. The Solution Our solution combines ordering and feedback into one service. The service lets you order and pay while out for food and drinks with your phone as this is becoming the preferred way today while also capturing feedback in-app which provides cash points. These can then be used for discounted meals, snacks, goods, drinks etc. (not alcoholic beverages – Norway edition). We create a win-win situation of having guests leave feedback while also being enrolled in a loyalty program which creates higher interest and recurring visits. Why we do what we do Having worked in the food and beverage service sector you may encounter a lot of less friendly feedback at times, but this is often individuals who do not represent the majority of guests. But when you just don’t know this can make a workday long and tiresome, and rarely inspire anyone to provide a better service. But regardless, you start to understand your guests even better, you can facilitate for an even better service and experience, and this will in turn create a better day for both staff and guest. As a guest, you simply want what you came for, a good experience and a good service. Regardless of what the situation for the staff is. Having a simple way to both order and leave feedback while gaining something from it will create a mutually beneficial situation. And that’s what we have in common.
