The Innovation Effect (TIE) kobler studenter og bedrifter i innovative prosjekter. Studentene får praktisk og relevant erfaring innen sitt fagfelt med mandat til å utfordre bedriften og løse reelle problemstillinger, og bedriftene får levert nye løsninger og unge perspektiver fra et tverrfaglig, energisk og ressurssterkt studentteam.

Vi som står bak er en gruppe som har mange års erfaring fra blant annet skandiabanken og FINN. Etter å ha jobbet med tradisjonell forsikring i en årrekke, har vi sett oss lei på at forsikring er gjort unødvendig komplisert og dyrt. Vi har bestemt oss for å gjøre noe med det, og har derfor etablert et alternativ. Forsikring skal være enkelt og retferdig. Det skal være lett å forstå hva og hvordan du er dekket. Ingen store ord - og ingen liten skrift. Du skal vite hva du betaler for, og prisen skal stå i forhold til hvor ansvarlig og forsiktig du er - ikke bare hvor gammel du er eller hvor du bor.

MELK er et skeivt kulturtidsskrift med det formål å belyse, synliggjøre og formidle skeiv kulturhistorie i Norge, med særskilt fokus på perspektiver som er marginalisert innenfor LHBTiQ-historie. Majoriteten av de som jobber med og for MELK i alle ledd er skeive: redaktører, designere, illustratører og tekstforfattere. JodaCare is a digital communication platform that connects family caregivers and the health personnel taking care of their loved ones. This is especially helpful if the patient has trouble with their memory or communication abilities, and therefore cannot share daily information about themselves to their different groups caregivers. JodaCare is excellent for nursing homes, assisted living facilities and home services.  In JodaCare we are a versatile group of people, all with different backgrounds and ages. We all have experience being either informal caregivers or health personnel. This gives us an unique insight in our end user needs.

Metis Education (ME) offers a wide variety of services within education and skill development. Our main focus is the management of high schools. We own schools in Bergen, Sandnes, and Oslo. Since 2004, we have been the key to give more than 22.000 students an education. We are proud that of our high schools show some of the best academic results in Norway.

Eventum er et ungt og innovativt gründerselskap i sterk vekst. Forretningsideen til Eventum er å hjelpe mennesker å feire og møtes. Vi gjør dette gjennom en markedsplass kalt eventum.no (tenk Airbnb for arrangementslokaler.).  Vi lanserte markedsplassen eventum.no i 2014 og på kort tid har vi blitt Norges største bookingplattform for arrangementer. The Nordic Food Supplements AS (NFS) produces mealworms destined for food industry, animal feeding, plants nutrition. Our focus is oriented towards B2B market, we  provide: - Live, dried and powder mealworms to farms, pets shops, zoos and specific food markets. - Frass (insects poop) is a very rich nutrient for plants which we intend to sale to plant shops and also on a stand alone webshop However NFS AS is also a wholesaler of dried larvae to niche markets/direct consumer. My name is Frederick V. Richard, the idea of starting with insects protein farming emerged on a road trip in France questioning my future in IT companies (Yes i left bugs for bugs!). I have been conducing research on the possibility of rearing insects in Norway for a year before even approaching people about this project. Only after studying the feasibility of the project i started to gather 1 partner, which leaded to 2 other partners with scientific  and entrepreneurship/leadership background. Our team is now composed with Elena, Pål and Espen. We then started our first pilot site in an old farm (not a garage) with just 6kg of larvae to ensure we gathered enough knowledge on rearing insects under specific conditions. Today we have a cattle of ca 1/2 tonne and will keep growing til the end of the year as we plan to expand our production.

At the same time, this culture of feedback also makes it easier to identify areas of improvement building upon the trust we have established with each other. What is also important is that it is very easy to come up with new ideas—you are not shut down and we make sure to discuss ideas and then figure out whether or not to pivot.
