PLOT markedsrådgivning are management consultants assisting clients with strategic and go to market challenges. In PLOT we develop and gain deep insight into different markets and industries through the work we do for clients. We have started a project to develop and market local market information. To help shops and restaurants to profitably exploit the potential in the local market. Key benefits for each shop are identifying potential for investing for increased sales while planning for manpower and sourcing according to demand.

There are too few products repaired, and e.g. clothes therefore have a short lifespan and end up as waste before their time. Brands have a producer responsibility for the entire life cycle of the products they put on the market, and must contribute to the product's increased lifespan to avoid waste production. However, they do not have global scalable solutions for this, but have inefficient expensive and manual processes (difficult to communicate around) which make most employees avoid repairs, and would rather give a new product, or the money back. Whether they offer repair is challenging. There are no global solutions that collect repair data for learning and improving design. Consumers have, always!, 1 or more garments awaiting repair, but the service is not available in the correct format. Repairers have challenges in scaling, employing and growing their company into a modernized service offer and a more predictable and appealing "call to action". The problem is common because we have developed habits influenced by "Planned obsolescence". The problem we solve are solved firstly for brands and retailers. Consumers are asking for products with a longer lifespan, and the European Commission is doing the same. Branded goods will in the future HAVE to repair complaints if it is not cheaper to give a new one. In practice, consumers will expect repairs from responsible parties. The brands are global and do not have a system for complaints and repair management, which is easy to communicate internally and externally. Secondly, consumers have broken products, but poor access to certified repairers outside the city centres, and too little information and management of expectations. Local services that brands back, and transport solutions increase accessibility and use and extend the customer relationship with brand. For the repairers, digitization offers opportunities for scaling, interaction with more people in a more efficient way, learning, as well as the capacity to use digital customized products and better purchasing conditions. We develop an API, a plug and play solution for the landing pages of manufacturers, brands and retailers. It is a "white labelled" fully integrated saas API, similar to how brands have integrations for payment and logistics. Then all stakeholders have a common point, for inquiries about damaged products, and the API supports the producer responsibility scheme/compliance. All product-level data will be collected here for feedback and improvements in design as well as sustainability reporting. Complaints are handled automatically through a decision tree linked to regulations. It makes customer service more efficient. Different transport solutions/delivery addresses with different costs will be offered. Local repairers will be certified and, with a simple interface, will receive more assignments from more customers. They will have a structure behind them that can help professionalize the operation as well as respond to the EU's requirements for documentation. Consumers will get fixed prices, predictability in the service and the possibility of personalisation.

Hvilket problem løser ideen?Havdata er kritisk for å forstå livet i havene våre. Med stor vekst i næringen langs kysten og i havene våre er markedet for innhenting av god og mye data stort. Dataen kan brukes til strategisk plassering av oppdrettsanlegg, havbunnsinstallasjoner og mer, i tillegg brukes det for å kunne regulere og sette krav til næringen som har kysten og havene våre som arbeidsplass for å skape en bærekraftig drift. Problemet i dag er at kysten og havene er en farlig og kostbar arbeidsplass. Bruk av store eller mindre fartøyer kan også være svært forurensende og unødvendig. For noen operasjoner er det naturlig å bruke store forskningsskip, men for svært mange andre operasjoner er det ikke behov for det. Nordic Usv ser på terskelen for å skaffe god havdata som stor og mener dette kan være med på å begrense forskning og innovasjon langs kysten. Det ønsker vi å endre på.Løsning på problemetVår løsning er å levere en ferdig tjeneste for å hente inn havdata ved å bruke ubemannede fartøy. Med dette setter man ikke ansatte i fare ved å jobbe på sjøen i tillegg til at løsningen skal senke kostnader for kunde. Ved å tilby en plattform som kan levere strøm, 4g kommunikasjon og ulike festeanordninger vil kunder kunne montere egne sensorer ombord. Alt fra sensorer som måler i vann eller luften til sensorer som måler f.eks 5g dekning. Vi har også muligheten til å ta med havbunns prøver tilbake til land for å så sende inn til kunde. Dette gjør at institutter og bedrifter slipper å investere og lære seg å bruke ubemannede fartøyer for å samle inn data på lettest mulig hvis. Vi ser for oss at flere sensorer skal være standard og montert på fartøyet til enhver tid. Denne tjenesten ønsker vi at skal være tilgjengelig rundt hele kysten og etterhvert ut i havene også. Ved å kunne operere flere fartøyer samtidig bygger vi en lønnsom forretningsmodell samtidig som vi kan tilby en kvalitets tjeneste til kundene våre. Elektriske fartøy senker også utslipp og kostnader ved slike operasjoner. Batteriet som sitter i fartøyet vårt nå er tatt fra en elbil som gjør at vi er med på å gjenbruke et grunnstoff vi i fremtiden kan få stor mangel på. Bilen skulle kondemneres etter kollisjon, batteripakken var ikke skadet.Fra september 2022 vil vårt fartøy være stasjonert på vannet i Bergen for å raskt ta på seg pilotprosjekter, kjøre demoer for potensielle kunder og drive med mer testing og utvikling av fartøyet. Fartøyet vårt er ikke låst til et område, og kan enkelt transporteres til andre steder i landet eller verden.

A startup from Haugesund in Norway was established late 2021 aiming to create better and more revolutionary products for building powerlines. There is the slow development of new and innovative products in this industry, which we have experienced ourselves while building powerlines. A quick youtube search on building powerlines will leave you astonished by the old-fashioned techniques and products that are being used. In many areas of the building, it is done in the same way as 20 years ago. Despite all this, the need for reliable power is bigger than ever and continues to grow every year. While the demand is growing, the existing power grid is deteriorating. Our products will make building new powerlines safer, and cheaper and will deliver less environmental damage. Combined with hardware products, software, and AI we make optimized solutions for the future building of energy distribution. We are starting to test products this summer, get confirmation from customers and continue to build product this fall. We are looking for team members who have experience in start ups, business and IT,whom wish to make a real contribution to meet our electric and green goals.

Skoler og bedrifter øker læringsutbyttet gjennom å benytte vår digitale spillplattform som har fokus på å gjøre læring morsomt gjennom utendørs, fysisk aktivitet og inspirerende teknologi. Vi har etablert et team bestående av 8 personer i Norge og 9 innleide utviklere i Polen, deriblant gründere som tidligere har lyktes med læringsteknologi og som blant annet står bak velkjente Skooler, et læringsteknologi selskap med kunder i over 100 land. Niuton is a deep tech platform that works on autonomous and decentralized solutions based on Newtonian principles and our end customers are hedge funds. Currently, we have a team of five people, the tech dev and research stretches three years back and we have been with one year live with clients. Now we are looking for a senior python specialist to automate the data flow in and out of our core machinery. The data feed into Niutons machinery is from Twelvedata and the output is clients around the world. For the right candidate, we can consider offering 0.5% of shares equity (valuation right now 7.5 million USD), you will be assisted by our other senior python specialist that handles the core machinery itself. The expected duration of this assignment is three to four months ONLY. Start date 1. January 2022. Resources have to be available 100% of the time during the assignment, most preferably in Oslo. The MVP is ready, Niuton is now exactly what we want, and the success criterion is achieving 99% uptime on a day-to-day basis.
