Chew is an interactive online platform with food-related content for children aged 6-14 years to develop their cooking skills, increase knowledge about proper nutrition and inspire a healthier and more varied diet. Getting children to eat healthier and to have a more varied diet is a common problem worldwide. A constant struggle for parents to encourage their kids to eat more varied creates lots of frustration, guilt, stress, and less pleasant situations around the dinner table. As a bigger consequence, we are in danger that so many people being in poorer health that it will have consequences for both the labour market and the health services in the future. Research shows that children are more open to healthy eating if they are allowed to participate in cooking, and if they are allowed to decide for themselves. Skoler og bedrifter øker læringsutbyttet gjennom å benytte vår digitale spillplattform som har fokus på å gjøre læring morsomt gjennom utendørs, fysisk aktivitet og inspirerende teknologi. Vi har etablert et team bestående av 8 personer i Norge og 9 innleide utviklere i Polen, deriblant gründere som tidligere har lyktes med læringsteknologi og som blant annet står bak velkjente Skooler, et læringsteknologi selskap med kunder i over 100 land. We are starting a new department for software development, and are at first looking for a head developer/coordinator. We will be developing software for existing customers that are in high demand of new solutions and integrations. Disputas is a small tech startup based in Oslo. We come from language technology, robotics, and philosophy. On a grant from the Norwegian research council (NFR), we are currently in the process of developing a digital platform for textual analysis in the educational sector. This summer we started developing the core functionality of the platform, and the first module is aimed at argument analysis. Our plan for 2021 is to expand the platform with modules for syntactic analysis of words and sentences, semantic concept analysis, and a module for law studies and juridical case processing. The premise of the project is to design the platform and the various modules in such a way that use generates data of a kind that is applicable for training novel machine learning services in the field of natural language processing (NLP).
