Empirical is a flavor company, founded in 2017 and located on Refshaleøen in Copenhagen. Our approach is inspired by the Empirical method and the belief that knowledge is gained from experiences, our senses, and a desire to explore the world around us. Focusing on flavor, our company uses low-temperature distillation, fermentation, and unique, high-quality ingredients sourced carefully from all over the world. The result is culinary innovations in the world of spirits, beverages and food products. We pay respect to tradition, but want to explore without prejudice, reinventing and mixing things up instead of letting traditional boxes define how we do things. Our team reflects this: it is made up of waiters, chefs, scientists and professionals who are keen to do things in new ways and to work outside of their comfort zones.

Tapp is developing a software-only POS suite—tap-on-phone payments, eshop self-order, Native AI data platforms, and AI-assisted menu/setup - to help small UK service businesses ditch expensive hardware POS, solve slow service and rising operating costs, and stay compliant by default, powered by our ultra-fast UX, AI onboarding, leading AI features, and embedded payments. Independent cafés, massage parlors, and any other service spots are squeezed by hardware terminals, clunky back-office flows, and staffing shortages—which translates to slower turnover, longer queues, and lost revenue. Operators also face VAT/receipt/tips complexity and card-data obligations that traditional POS doesn’t simplify. The market is crowded, but legacy and “one-size-fits-all” tools still mean slow UI, multi-minute setup, and rigid pricing. Our analysis of UK-relevant providers shows many still require dedicated hardware or fragmented QR solutions—creating cost, training, and integration friction for small teams. Whilst providing insights on all the data collected, without the user having to ask. Tapp replaces boxes and paper with a phone-first POS: - Tap-to-Pay on iPhone & Android: take contactless cards/Wallets directly on staff or owner smartphones—no reader required. Bright-Bud

We are a danish startup build the safest window cleaning product in the world. The story goes back to 2023 whereas the Founder, Christoffer suffered from a severe eye infection that led to loss of sight in the right eye. No one could tell the reason but as soon as doing window cleaning again, all symptoms came right back. Redness around the eye and an uncomftable feeling the place of operation appeared every time window cleaning. With time I, Christoffer, experimented with different soap solutions and this changed the game for me. Different soaps had different effects on My eye and on my bloodsugar levels. Those that were the most friendly, were the least effective solutions for window cleaning. Today I window clean BUT I do suffer. I want to change the game for personally BUT also for the industry in general. Nobody should experience tearing up their body in the long run, due to chemicals. Therefore I am building the safest window cleaning product in the world.

Babele

Babele is a tech and consulting company for sustainability-driven innovation and ventures. On the tech side, we have developed a virtual acceleration platform for impact ventures. Our clients are accelerators, corporations that run acceleration programs or universities with entrepreneurship classes. We are market leaders in our field and are currently scaling. Some of our clients are: • Google Startups for Sustainable Development, where they support tech for good ventures • Bayer with their program to support agritech startups • UNDP (United Nations Development Program) • UN SDSN (United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network) • Stanford University • Copenhagen Business School On the consulting side, we run programs, for example we have been running five editions of the Investment readiness program of the UN SDSN and we do engagement consulting, where we teach our clients how to combine their online program with their physical meetings. We are a small team of people believing that our current way of living is broken and that we need another approach in the way we work. We need to be more holistic, include sustainability in our everyday life, be more inclusive and collaborative. The Danish company has been created in 2021, but we also have a mother company in Romania, that has been running since 2014. We are working from Bloxhub and DISIE coworking spaces in Copenhagen.

Flowering addresses the significant issue of flower waste in the floral industry. This problem affects both the environment and flower producers, contributing to unnecessary carbon footprints. The widespread waste impacts growers, retailers, and consumers who seek sustainable alternatives. Our team at Flowering sources surplus flowers that would otherwise be discarded and repurposes them into beautiful, high-quality bouquets in combination with local and certified flowers. By implementing efficient logistics and innovative design processes, we ensure these flowers reach customers fresh and vibrant, reducing waste and promoting sustainability without any intermediaries. The inspiration for Flowering came from witnessing the vast amounts of perfectly good flowers being discarded daily. Motivated by a passion for sustainability and a desire to make a positive environmental impact, we left our jobs and studies to focus on creating a business that not only delivers beauty but also champions environmental responsibility.

2030beyond is a non-profit do-tank for the 2030 agenda, supporting parliaments and people to accelerate action for the Sustainable Development Goals. We convene and connect parliamentarians in a global network of Parliamentarians for the Global Goals as a platform to share best practices and ideas on SDG implementation. We support their efforts to build cross-party collaboration, multi-stakeholder involvement and civic engagement. ​We believe that co-creation through human- and planet centered design is the only way we will succeed with the 2030 Agenda.
