Milton Around the World

We create children with a global and sustainable mindset at a young age! Milton Around the World© is an EdTech platform with compelling stories and learning materials. Milton is a fun, playful and educational rabbit. Milton’s stories engage children aged 5-8 in a myriad of ways, so they can get a better understanding about complexed subjects. The Milton universe uses a mix of different technologies to enhance the children’s learning capabilities. The captivating and attention-grabbing storytelling is a mix of facts, fun and fairytales. Milton’s stories communicate the significant topics with simplicity and a positive spin. Milton dares to take up the difficult subjects and give the children a voice. He invites the children to explore and understand the complex topics and inspire them to behave and apply the knowledge in real-life scenarios. With the complete educational packages for the UN’s 17 Global Goals, Milton Around the World© is a solid platform, all wrapped in a recognizable structure that requires little preparation. Using Learning Enhancing Technologies, all delivered on a modern digital platform, our learning material is bringing the simplicity of the complex topics to the children. We also give the teachers and parents a source so they can explain the topics as Milton’s stories and education kits encourage dialogue between the children, teachers and parents. The Milton universe is built for global use, shown both via written words and colorful vivid illustrations. The Danish founders, have an international background with understanding and respect of other cultures and an outspoken ability to embrace diversity. Milton is already known and liked in Denmark, India, US, China, Kenya, Sri Lanka and Thailand. Being a unique first mover on communicating complexed topics in a structured way to children, we discovered a market need, resulting in the creation of the Milton universe, fitted perfect to ensure presence of appropriate material for the children. The concept from Milton Around the World© is also used by companies globally as Brand-As-A-Service (BaaS). Agile technology innovation is part of Milton Around the World’s© DNA and will be used to extend the possible ways children can learn new topics. Our ambition is that Milton Around the World© is a financial sustainable business next year and that Milton will be a global household name before 2026 by establishing local and global partnerships to support our ambition. Partnerships that will create global sustainable children at a young age.

The Tasty Coconut Company

Tasty Coconut was founded because we want to make eating fruits more colorful and fun. We import exciting and different foods because we want to show consumers that it doesn't have to be boring and monotonous to eat more greens - especially fruits. We focus on ecology, biodynamic production, tree-ripened fruits and freshly harvested vegetables. That is why we work with smaller farms from all over the world, so that we ensure that the road from farm to fork is as short as possible. The majority of our selection will always be organic and we are moving towards becoming 100% organic and biodynamic.

LifeBoard ApS

At LifeBoard ApS we are designing the new generation of public rescue equipment, a rescue board, that makes a difference. The LifeBoard® ensures that beachgoers as civil rescuers have the necessary tool at hand to safely stabilize an accidents out in the water. We want to increase water safety on beaches by analyzing and customize safety solution with theLifeBoard®. With the LifeBoard® surfboardlooking design it is easier for civil beachgoers to use compared to the lifebuoy ring. The ring is not designed to be used for swimming rescues, but to be thrown from harbors, piers and boats. The lifebuoy ring is considered inefficient on flat beaches, where it is rarely used successfully. The aim with the LifeBoard® is to avoid civil rescuers from becoming a victim in the at- tempt of rescueing another and to decrease swimming-related fatal drownings by 50%. With the LifeBoard® civil rescuers can reach a distressed faster and safer. Safety to avoid a fatal drowning of the civil rescues and/or victims. Fast to save the victim before it is too late, since a drowning can happen in less than 60 sec and reducing the risk of permanent injuries and hospitalisation of near-drowning victims. BusinessMate is developing the next gen. process automation tool BusinessMate.io , our customer is the every company with more than 30 employee, that need to develop and automate at the speed of the employee. BusinessMate.io objective is to offer our customers a Saas platform that brings control over the business automation to the line of business. Making the business automate at there own speed. Our platform will give our customer the ability to optimize and develop it's way of working at their own pace. We have released the basic version of BusinessMate platform in November '21. During the last 5-10 years, we have seen an increasing need for speed in business development. At every mid or large size company, we have talked to the primary issue is, the resources (outside the business) needed for implementing the automation, leading to slow and long turnaround of the automation, remove the focus from the business change. The ambition is to build a platform and a company that will define the best practice "implementation of business change"

Poikilingo

Poikilingo is developing a language learning app for small children (2 - 6 years old), where social and cultural awareness are at the heart of our concept. Our program focuses on the cultural aspects of the language being learned, as we believe that cracking the social code is as important as learning vocabulary and pronunciation. This promotes a sense of belonging which will positively impact the child's learning process. Each child is unique, so each of them deserves a study program that takes into consideration their peculiarities. The customized study plan that childre get at Poikilingo mixes activities, videos, songs and games, and if the child makes mistakes, she gets feedback in her native tongue. We follow a consolidated learning approach that teaches different subjects through the language, all created by educational experts and aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. But the game-changing experience that Poikilingo brings into the market is based on animated stories where an avatar of the child goes through everyday situations that children go through, including when they move to a new country and have to start into a new kindergarten.

KOMBO AUDIO is a DTU based Audio startup, creating a modular, easy to use audio system empowering hobbyist musicians & upcoming artists. Our mission: Powering Live music for everyone! Through the last 10 years, the internet has enabled a revolution in the music industry, making it much easier for independent musicians to create and share their music on social platforms like soundcloud. This is however a completely different story when it comes to the artist's ability to perform live, and share their music with people in the real world. Here, the only available Live audio equipment is wired, complicated and extremely time consuming to use and set up - which works directly against the artists wishes of spontaneous creativity and independence of the musical industry. We are changing that with our Live music system - enabling small artists and musicians to set up their own live stages, whenever and wherever they please!

Children of Ash

Welcome to Children of Ash, an ongoing research project devoted to Viking ornamental art and its understanding. We are developing a new museum platform application designed to use technology as an interface to present academic research to museum visitors in a visually accessible and understandable way. Our focus is on the ornamental tradition of Late Iron Age Scandinavia, expressed as a proper language, with its 'vocabulary', 'grammar', 'syntax' and 'dialects', throughout its development. To achieve that, the original works found through archaeology are studied and 'digested' to extract their canons and underlying principles, which we present to in comprehensive visual breakdowns as well as detailed background information. A true glimpse into the Viking mind.

Virksomheden er startet af paret Monica og Tommy Nielsen der følte der manglede noget på det danske marked. Her handles der med melorm,græshopper, fårekyllinger og meget mere. Et kæmpe udvalg til kamæleoner finder du også her. Råd og vejledning er en vigtig ting for paret der stadig ejer firmaet og hver eneste kunde har en speciel plads i hverdagen således at hver pakke pakkes med kærlighed. Historien bag Monis Vi hedder Tommy og Monica og vores rejse med monisskildpadder.dk har været lang og sej. Til tider har vi været tæt på at give op og vi har lært lektien ved at hoppe på ting som bare ikke var sagen. Vores mission er klar. Vi ønsker at folk skal opleve så god en service så muligt når de handler hos os. Før vi kom til var det en basar mange steder hvor vare der var garantier på ikke blev byttet. BunkerTrust

BunkerTrust is an open rating platform on which buyers of marine fuel (called "bunkers") can rate the suppliers and the vessels supplying the receiving vessels. The bunker industry has always been very un-transparent which means that the suppliers and the supply vessels could cheat without being penalised. We are working hard to make this industry more transparent, to the benefit of the shipowners who are buying the bunkers, and to the benefit of the suppliers who are not cheating.   Hi, my name is Daniel. I was born and bred into shipping as my father started a shipping company more than 35 years ago. Now, my brother and I have taken over the shipping company and I am in charge of the daily operation. I have always been very interested in new technology and I am a keen advocate of disruption in shipping as this is a very traditional industry.  Most shipowners in this very traditional industry are struggling with their marine fuel deliveries, as it is very easy for the suppliers and delivery vessels to cheat without being penalised. Therefore I decided to start BunkerTrust, which basically increases the transparency in the industry by letting the shipowners rate the performance of the suppliers and delivery vessels (much like Trustpilot).  I am very passionate about this project and working hard with my team of developers to make it fly. Besides being a keen entrepreneur I am the father of two boys and married to my lovely wife, presently residing in Roskilde (about 20 mins by train from Copenhagen.)
