Gate2Horizon is a new company, which leverages the experience of its employees in the domain of so-called "exploitation of project results" in large EU-funded Research & Innovation projects (under the Horizon Europe - Pillar II funding programme). We create a much cheaper and faster detection to not let the COVID-19 events happen again. We decrease the time of outbreak detection >30 times and detection price >10 times. WHY ARE WE DOING IT? In recent years there have been a rapid advancement in SynBio that outpaces the regulatory and monitoring frameworks. This leads to inability of implementation of clear safety rules for virus research and national security which in turn poses a large threat of uncontrolled and/or accidental misuse of pathogens.
