Our aim is to challenge the field of architecture and promote critical thinking, inspiring, engaging and raising awareness of how architecture and urban planning shape our lives and the world—and vice versa. Architecture is not just bricks, spaces and frames. It is sensual, bodily and social. It is political, historical and psychological. Architecture is human, and it affects every aspect of life.

Klimascore er den nye danske standardparameter for klimavenlige hoteller. Igennem de sidste 4 år har vi arbejdet sammen med ledende hoteller i Danmark, samt afholdt en årlig kåring, Climate Award, for at finde Danmarks mest klimavenlige hotel. Klimascore er baseret på hotellernes egne data og direkte udledning. I nær dialog med hotelledelsen og nøgleansatte hjælper vi herefter hotellerne med at blive mere klimavenlige samtidigt med at de driver deres forretning fremad, både ift. at opnå besparelser, men også i forhold til branding, medarbejdertilfredshed m.m.

Akusis ApS

At Akusis we deliver relevant content to the more than 1 million people suffering from hypertension. At the same time, we facilitate an easy to use blood pressure measurement proces, that enables general practitioners to receive patient reported data with a significant higher data integrity than the excisting solutions. An ease of mind solution for both patients and doctors, that saves and improves lives, and lowers the expenses in the Danish healthcare system. Hypertension is serious, and when not treated it could be fatal. However, the impact can be reduced, if treated properly and at an early stage. We have talked to a number of both patients and doctors, and from this we learned: * Doctors require more than 500.000 measurements a year. Measurements are performed by the patients in their own home, and self-reported into an existing digital solution. * Measuring and entering data in the system can be difficult, and leads to mistakes in about 36% of the total measurements performed. This gives doctors a poor chance of diagnosing correctly. * There is a need of a more simple and intuitive system, that can reduce the number of bad measurements. * Furthermore, the patients report, that they need information on exactly what hypertension is, and what they can do themselves to lower their blood pressure levels (besides taking their medicine). * Patients feel left alone with a lot of questions, and no one to answer them. Instead they go online, and find the answers in various places, and too often answers that ends up worsening their condition. Our solution is based on our own website, and our mobile application. On both platforms we deliver the content that we know the patients need. Today it is scattered all over, and of mixed quality. We bring it all to a single place. On top of that, we add tailored treatment courses, and hand on tools to be implemented in an every day life, giving the patients a chance to act and improve. Our content is delivered by experts in the areas of sleep, exercise and nutrition, as we know that is what the patients ask for. For those that want more than just information, we deliver access to an easy to use measurement proces, by using the equipment already at hand. Historical readings can be seen on the application, notes can be taken, and it is even possible to send the data to the doctor. The combination of the above signigicantly reduces the impact of hypertension in Denmark, and represents an approach to this specific disease, that doesn´t exist today. The idea for this specific project comes from a member of the founder team, Kurt Rasmussen, and is further developed by the other team members, who are both health tech engineers. Kurt is a general practioner with more than 25 years of experience, and has for (too) long experienced issues related to poor quality of blood pressure measurements, and patients that want to do more, but don´t know how to. We strongly, both as general practitioner and health tech engineers want to improve the every day life of patients, and enabling them to life longer, fuller and richer lives, free from worries and not needed complications. By developing Akusis BPM System, we are able to do so, and at the same time reduce the costs of treating hypertensive patients in DK. We claim, that when fully implemented, we are able to reduce the costs in the amount of billions - even conservatively put around 2-3 of them every year.

Danish further down... My frustration is that I have a lack of an overview of used maritime boat equipment. Therefore, I spent some time wondering how it should be approached. I have created a web portal where I have worked on connecting users together. Users who all want to sell their used boat equipment, and users who want to buy used boat equipment. The idea is that the user (the sailor) can put the equipment up for sale that is just filling up the shelves and collecting dust. Other users can then search the website for exactly the equipment he/she is looking for. The buyer then contacts the seller themselves, and they then agree on the sale/transfer etc. When you have said buying and selling and marketplace, I also draw attention to Co2, recycling, pollution, recycling and much more. These are words we love to hear in today's world, and not least to do something about and improve. By recycling used maritime equipment, we reduce Co2 and contribute to a common future where equipment can be used more than once. Sellers can make money selling their used equipment and buyers can save a lot of money by buying used equipment.Min frustration er, at jeg, som sejler mangler et overblik over brugt maritimt bådudstyr. Derfor gik jeg en tid og spekulerede over hvordan det skulle gribes an. Jeg har lavet en webportal, hvor jeg har arbejdet med at koble brugere sammen. Brugere der alle ønsker at sælge deres brugte bådudstyr, og brugere der ønsker at købe brugt bådudstyr. Ideen er, at brugeren (sejleren) kan lægge det udstyr til salg, som blot ligger og fylder op på hylderne og samler støv. Andre brugere kan herefter søge på hjemmesiden efter lige præcis det udstyr han/ hun leder efter. Herefter kontakter køber selv sælger, og de aftaler herefter selv salg/ overdragelse mv. Når man har sagt køb og salg og markedsplads, så henviser jeg også opmærksomheden på Co2, genanvendelse, forurening, genbrug og meget mere. Dette er ord vi i den nuværende verden er vilde med at høre, og ikke mindst gøre noget ved og udbedre. Ved genbrug af brugt maritimt udstyr, mindsker vi Co2, og bidrager til en fælles fremtid hvor udstyr kan bruges mere end én gang. Sælgere kan tjene på at sælge deres brugte udstyr, og købere kan spare mange penge ved at købe brugt udstyr.

Vi afholdt flere kampagne med betalende kunder og forsøger nu at skalere. Vi sidder på kontor på KU Lighthouse - Tagensvej 16a Vi er tre i teamet. Nicolai der er klimaspecialist. Dan, der er programmør og Kristian, der er klimaformidler. Vi søger en til at hjælpe med kommunikation, salg og marketing.

While our eyes is on the fourth industrial revolution, we want to be part of the energy revolution and help to reduce the CO2 footprint in every single workplace. we move towards greener workplace by a software solution on energy optimization of dynamic mechanical systems (DMS). Our target industry for now is ventilation systems so called as HVAC for office building. The product is a software solution that monitors and optimizes energy consumption of HVACs. But why HVACs? Ventilations are installed in almost all office and industrial buildings. Only in Denmark, 12 M m2 of area is dedicated to offices and buildings. This corresponds to a huge energy consumption by HVACs (about 40% of total electrical energy consumption of a building and funny enough buildings are responsible for almost half of energy consumption of Denmark in a year). Despite of HVACs simplicity from system point of view, they are very complicated and confusing for the HVAC owners. The energy consumption and waste energy is not clear. Therefore, energy optimization becomes a long shot. 4i4’s product is solving these issues and brings values for the HVAC owners by peace of mind and valuable insight on how to optimize the energy and save on CO2 emission.

Pain: When you make an online purchase that needs to be sendt to you, all the infomation regarding the delivery is sendt to you via SMS and e-mail. Those two platforms are allready filled with other relevant information, making it very confusing to keep track of your delivery. It requires you to proactively search for your delivery data amongst all the other informations on thoses two platforms allready drowning in informationoverload. We want to remove all the confusion and make it easy and convenient to receive a delivery, and provide you with an automated updated overwiev of your deliveries. At the same time we want to give webshops acces to the last part of the customer journey, from after purchase to delivery. Today 89% of webshops hand over the communication with the customer to the delivery company, after the orderconfirmation have been sendt. By doing so they miss out on a big business oportunity and leave the last part of the customer journey in the hands of a third party. Webshops have a big interest in ovning the complete customer journey, because in ensuring the right customer experience and continuing the contact with the customer right after purchase, is good for business. This is something Retailer have known and done many years, to ensure customerloyalty. Now it is time for the webshops to do the same.
