There is a general problem with obesity in society and the system will help to engage people in public areas (playgrounds, parks etc.) in physical activities. The first type of physical equipment being developed is for hockey training (ice-, field- or floorball). A working prototype is already developed but minor adjustments are necessary in order to strengthen especially the feedback part of the system. The platform (app) engages the users by sending tasks to one of the physical elements which in turn reports back to the platform about their performance in order to enable tracking over time and compare with peers. The solution is new and innovative in the way it utilizes recent developments within the area of IOT and mobile devices to engage users and provide feedback at a level not seen in any existing system. Both the functionality of and the technology used in the solution is new to training equipment.
