We are developing a generic platform for “training equipment” within various fields plus various embodiments of this equipment. Quotes because the platform is not limited to sports, it can also be used to e.g. engage kids on a playground or people in general in public areas. The system addresses 2 problems: Athletes of all levels need to maintain the sometimes tedious training routine necessary to build muscle memory and develop fine motor skills and the system gamifies these routines. There is a general problem with obesity in society and the system will help to engage people in public areas (playgrounds, parks etc.) in physical activities. The first type of physical equipment being developed is for hockey training (ice-, field- or floorball). A working prototype is already developed but minor adjustments are necessary in order to strengthen especially the feedback part of the system. The platform (app) engages the users by sending tasks to one of the physical elements which in turn reports back to the platform about their performance in order to enable tracking over time and compare with peers. The solution is new and innovative in the way it utilizes recent developments within the area of IOT and mobile devices to engage users and provide feedback at a level not seen in any existing system. Both the functionality of and the technology used in the solution is new to training equipment.

Peak Cadence ApS was formed in 2020. We are currently two co-founders. We have a passion to develop interesting software that we can potentially spin out into new startups. We are constantly seeking new ideas that we critically evaluate. Our most recent product is MapADay.com - a website where users can find, create and share travel itineraries. The motivation behind the platform was to alleviate the hours of internet research and pasting into spreadsheets required to plan a trip. Our site has around 80 detailed and hand-crafted travel itineraries, and over 1,000 locations of interest - packed with meta data to drive our algorithms. Our site allows users to complete a profile with their travel preferences and interests - and we're finalising an algorithm to create automated travel itineraries. Not only does the site make trip planning easier, but it also acts as an internet marketing platform for businesses in the tourism and travel sector. MapADay has many gaps (we've been focusing on basic functionality, content and SEO) - but we have a roadmap to where we need to get to in order to evaluate the product's potential. We're looking to expand our team with a focus on business development and marketing.

The corner stone in this work is the website and blog 20skridt.dk and several online courses. 20 Skridts weekly mailing list, Søndagslisten, currently (summer 2021) has more than 3,500 subscribers. 20 Skridt is owned by Danish author Ole Ditlev Nielsen who works with a small team of freelancers. He has written several textbooks on teaching, pedagogy, stress management and slow living. Airplant increases the effect of nature's ability to purify and humidify air by combining plants and technology. 20-40 % of office workers experience dry indoor air. The feeling is triggered by dry air or chemicals which cause general discomfort. As you may know, plants reduce chemicals and humidify air. The Airplant system boosts the plant's natural way of working, and an airflow expands the treated area so that one single plant has the effect of 10 plants, corresponding to or better than comparable machines. Ventilation systems switch indoor air with fresh air. But fresh outdoor air is dry during the entire flu season so the Airplant system will humidify the fresh air and also reduce the amount of harmful chemicals.
