Weco Play is a collection of learning games and activities for large touchscreens. They are designed to enable several children to play and learn together. We sell our software mainly to pre-schools, schools, and special education. The software is sold as SAAS, though partnerships to B2G/B2B customers.

Vaerks is a tech-startup. We develop innovative solutions for CNC milling, where knowledge is digitized and processes are automated to reduce the know-how and manual working time that is traditionally associated with CNC milling. WeUse is a platform enabling communities such as housing associations, sports clubs, companies and private persons to become more sustainable and strengthen the cohesion by sharing resources, helping and connecting each other in closed networks. Besides saving space and costs of owning the resources yourself, you can earn money by providing your neighbourhood with resources you own. WeUse does not only have a direct positive impact on our environment, but also on our society by encouraging a mindful consumption, creating a strong community, and lowering the barrier for a positive contribution to our environment, by every individual. Most of our human behaviour is based on routines. If an object breaks or we need something in a specific situation, we tend to just go out and buy a new one, even though we will not use it that often. With WeUse we want to support a behavioural change in our society in favour of our environment. By developing an app, with a focus on a low usage barrier and a front-end created in collaboration with potential users, where people can easily rent each others objects, we want to strengthen the concept of a shared economy in our communities. the goal is to inspire people to change their mindset by using the app.

The startup is based in the Incubator of DTU, the Danish Technical University in Lyngby. The team will be working to build a solution that solve real world challenges. The goal of WeGo! is to reduce pollution and congestion on our roads. We will achieve this by making it super attractive and effortless for people to share free and available car seats. SHADES OF LOVE collects new and used sunglasses and distributes them in remote high mountain regions. In the Himalayas and the Andes, the majority of the population lives in extremely remote regions at an altitude of 2,500 to 6,500 meters. They are exposed to harmful UV rays all year round. Even when it’s cloudy, the UV-radiation penetrates these high-altitude areas. The unique geological and climatic conditions make the sun exposure there so incomparably dangerous. In these heights, the UV filter of the atmosphere is 5 kilometres shorter, than under ‘normal’ conditions. Up to 80% of the population suffers from eye diseases, blindness, or cancer in their lifetime. Many indigenous people fall victim to eye diseases before they turn 30 years old. Some of these diseases are even deadly. Normally, they lead to blindness. Consequently, many can no longer pursue their work, due to blindness and are thus threatened in their existence. It is scientifically proven that living in high altitude correlates strongly with visual impairment. It’s also proven that quality sunglasses can mitigate infection risks and rates. We have distributed hundred thousands of sunglasses to people in the most remote high-altitude regions in the world to prevent the issue and its consequences. We also conduct eye surgeries together with local and foreign doctors to not only prevent, but also cure ocular diseases. Since the start of our project we have expanded and moved beyond the Himalayas to help as many people in need as possible.

Today, the vast majority of sports clubs and associations are managed on multiple platforms, most of them being outdated, not meeting the users' demands. Sportyfriends is here to change that. We gather all assignments in one intuitive system. Our portfolio of features include a website builder, court booking system, membership management, organization of activities and financial management. Moreover, we offer a lights and locking system for sports centres, online payments, and a mobile app for iOS and Android. Our team consists of a committed group of people having dealt with the challenges many sports clubs and associations are facing today. Therefore, we have a deep knowledge of our users' needs and we share the vision of offering a complete management system that helps our customers save time an administration and automate key work processes. Based in our office in Lyngby, we are working closely together with our developer team in Yerevan, Armenia, to ensure the continuous development of the Sportyfriends software.
