Tubus Technology ApS is an innovative start-up business that works within ideation, innovation and product development. We enforce self-empowerment and independence by developing products that are designed to make a difference for people with physical limitations. We work with the entire process from idea generation and product development to market validation and production development. We are currently in the stage of making international market validation and development for our first product TubusOne. TubusOne is a medical device class 1 product that holds a CE mark. It is a mechanical device for people with upper limb limitations and works by sipping and puffing into a tube (hence the name TubusOne). The tube contains a piston function that works like a finger on touchscreen devices when it is activated by a puff from the mouth. TubusOne is a prolonged finger used for navigation on touchscreen devices.

ORIGINS The story begins with two Portuguese siblings from Porto separated by different life paths. This special feeling led these two young siblings to create something unique in which they could spend some time together, exploring their particular skills, infusing a truly Danish experience and Scandinavian design influence with a very strong Portuguese background and heritage. And so, Længsel Design is born. The architectural lines, the contemporary elegance and the Scandinavian style are very present in pieces that were inspired by Portuguese historical marks, landscapes and cultural aspects. The nature of the brand privileges the local handmade and craftworks, natural materials and a sustainable relationship across the whole value chain. NEW NORDIC DESIGN In the Nordic product design, there is a necessity of practicality, with a focus on usefulness and durability, taking into account the surrounding natural world and its resources. Our point on new Nordic design is to incorporate the functionality, craftsmanship, minimalism and creative courage in every one of our creations. SUSTAINABLE CRAFTSMANSHIP At Længsel we are dedicated to reduce our environmental impact. We have a continuous research about the best sustainable options for our products. We choose woods that can be recycled or replaceable in a fast-growing rate. We look for fabrics that are rapidly renewable, biodegradable, recyclable or can be produced organically. PRODUCTION The production is all done in Portugal reinforcing a unique perspective on Laengsel´s creations. We want to innovate and defy crystalized ideas by having a close relationship with our local portuguese craftsman. This ensures that people working on Hilfr are guaranteed a good minimum salary, pension, holiday pay, access to sickness benefit and a number of other benefits. All Super Hilfr's are employed by Hilfr Aps which means that tax is payed in accordance with Danish law. Hilfr is a very intuitive and easy-to-manage platform. It is free to sign-up but everyone has to upload a picture of a personal ID, which is key part in ensuring a credible and secure platform. We charge the by far lowest fee in the market - only 6 percent. And our fee is not taken from the Hilfrs wage, it is added to the customer’s bill to ensure transparency. It is important for us to make sure that Hilfrs can keep as much of their pay as possible. That is only fair.
