Danish Social Innovation Club (DANSIC) is Denmark's largest platform for social innovation. It is a voluntary non-profit organization run by ambitious Danish and international students which aids and inspires different actors in society, with social innovation methods and interdisciplinary work. We work to solve some of the greatest current societal challenges. Our mission is to create a society that is socially, environmentally and economically sustainable. DANSIC is supported by an Advisory Board of leading individuals and organizations in the fields of social innovation and entrepreneurship, and receive aid from sponsors and funds. DANSIC holds an annual event where different actors participate, and social innovation and specific societal issues are on the agenda. Each year DANSIC focuses on a different aspect related to promote a social and sustainable change.

Alice makes personalized learning accessible for students and teachers using the latest in AI. More than 50,000 students across the world have already used Alice. HEKA VR is a medical software platform that enables Avatar-Therapy, a form of psychotherapy, to be conducted in a Virtual Reality or in a Telehealth setting. VR-based Avatar Therapy combines psychology and VR technology to provide transformative interventions for mental health disorders. Grounded in research, this therapy utilises virtual reality and avatars to create immersive experiences. Through the concept of embodiment, individuals psychologically connect with their avatars, leading to significant changes in thoughts and behaviours. In schizophrenia, Avatar Therapy helps patients gain control over auditory hallucinations, but Avatar Therapy holds promise for improving mental health outcomes among patients with Eating Disorders, PTSD, Bipolar disorder, Borderline disorder, Major Depressive Disorder and many more. Heka VR was born through a public-private partnership and research project called The Challenge Trial - initiated in 2019, funded by the Danish Innovation Fund and with the final research results published in The Lancet Psychiatry in July 2025. The results show that VR based Avatar-Therapy is a an effective new treatment method for 7/10 patients with treatment resistant Schizophrenia. Currently Heka VR is involved in 10+ clinical trials and studies around the world, from North America to APAC. Wayer is a photo-sharing app for young people in Denmark aged 16-30 to exchange authentic pictures and videos from experiences they've had together in an easy and private way. When users are connected as friends, they get suggested to share memories if they've taken photos at the same time and place. This gives the users the opportunity to relive meaningful experiences from their life, helping them understand that they matter to others and thereby increasing their self-esteem.
