Global Startup Awards (GSA) was born out of the Danish startup ecosystem through the Nordic Startup Awards in 2012. What began as a regional initiative has grown into the world’s largest independent startup competition platform, now covering 154 countries across 19 regions. Through its competition framework and flagship events, GSA connects startups, investors, corporates, governments, and ecosystem enablers to showcase and accelerate innovation on both regional and global levels. GSA has offices in Copenhagen and Budapest and works closely with governments, investors, and business partners worldwide. Its model operates through a licensee-and-partnership structure, in which external organisations under the GSA framework lead several regional programs. We've built Charger Health, an AI-powered Operations & Maintenance platform for EV charging networks. Our software automatically identifies issues and initiates resolution flows in real-time. This is done through combination of pattern recognition, machine learning models and an agentic infrastructure. In addition, our solution automatically creates, updates and closes tickets, optimizing the throughput of operations teams. Lastly, intelligent alerts reveal hidden issues and enables proactive remote handling. This has reduced the operational resources required to manage the network, enabling operations teams to more than double their output, while also improving key performance metrics such as uptime and charging success rate.

Reel is creating a new way of buying electricity to accelerate the renewable energy transition. DBtune's core technology is a fully automated service designed to optimize databases. Our optimizer, based on machine learning, tailors each optimization to the specific customer workload and hardware in use. We're creating a digital study abroad start-up that aims to increase mobility by boosting the encouragement among students within higher education to study abroad. Another motivation for the project was the Danish government's goal of sending 50% of students within higher education abroad to incorporate an international dimension into their danish study program. Given the tools provided by the Government, we aim to educate, consult and help students go take a semester abroad to develop their personal profile. Today's way is old fashioned - paperwork, stamps, mails ( the slow kind 🐌) and loads of Visa's and questions. Our platform gives the student the step by step process needed to get any bigger task done. Once signed up, we make sure that you have all the credit eligible courses you need from our online course catalogue, a signed learning agreement, an insurance and an acceptance letter. All in less than a week and without leaving your keyboard. We started a digital study abroad agency based on our own experiences studying abroad. Millennial Consulting is a junior consultancy connecting startups, SMEs and NGOs with ambitious students and recent graduates to solve real business challenges through consulting projects.
