Inpay A/S

Set up in 2008 in a bid to make cross-border transactions easier, Inpay is a successful Danish Fintech company that processes millions of transactions each year. Wayer

Wayer is a photo-sharing app for young people in Denmark aged 16-30 to exchange authentic pictures and videos from experiences they've had together in an easy and private way. When users are connected as friends, they get suggested to share memories if they've taken photos at the same time and place. This gives the users the opportunity to relive meaningful experiences from their life, helping them understand that they matter to others and thereby increasing their self-esteem. Backed by Antler: an early-stage VC with investments in more than 600 startups around the globe.

Pluto.markets (YC W22)

Pluto.markets is one of the most promising scale-ups on the Nordic venture scene, backed by Y-combinator, Seed Capital and 10 local unicorn founders - building the next chapter of investing to challenge investment titans like Saxo Bank/Nordnet. Founded in Copenhagen in 2021, we have built the first and only investment platform in the Nordics offering zero commission trading, fractional shares and recently added crypto to the platform with many new and innovative features in the pipeline. Founders are former Goldman Sachs Trader and Economist, Joakim Bruchmann, and software engineer Oscar Vingtoft - building their second business together. We are based on Købmagergade in the city centre - with a team currently of 9 FTEs with additional freelance support (of which half are engineers).

ISSUU

Issuu is a massive omni channel digital publishing platform and cloud service that, through the Issuu Story Cloud, enables marketers, brands and creators globally to digitally create, share and monetize brochures, content marketing materials, publications, look books, catalogs and more across all screens and formats. The Issuu Story Cloud, which includes integrations with Adobe Indesign, Google AMP, Dropbox, Google Drive and others and is a content sharing and distribution service that sits between Creative Cloud and Marketing Cloud products. With the Story Cloud, we enable marketers and brands to create once and share everywhere digitally. Issuu has massive scale with more than 1 million marketers, brands and creators leveraging the platform annually and more than 100 million uniques consuming content monthly. Our Copenhagen office is conveniently close to the center in the heart of Vesterbro. It has a friendly, creative and welcoming atmosphere in a cool office environment, additionally with a music room, table tennis, and old-school arcade games. We provide delicious catered lunches, breakfast every Friday, as well as healthy drinks and snacks, and also organise regular outings, meetup events, and hackathons.

Sens-vue ApS

We help doctors and patients to diagnose and treat vision-threatening disease faster, better and at lower costs. We use AI for prevention, machine learning device for diagnosis and digital solution for update. We shall help huge population reduce the risk to loose vision due to current limitation. We have got our patent UM granted by Danish patent office in 2022. Now ready to grow faster. PentaLock

PentaLock develops and produces an electronic locking solution for traditional- and e-bikes. PentaLock offers the most secure and convenient locking solution on the market. The lock, allows bike manufacturers to easily integrate our solution into their existing bike rage. The product is innovative and aims to stop bike theft by removing the incentive, if stolen it will be impossible to use or sell the bike - so why steal it in the first place? The system consists of a lock and alarm along with several cool features.

Nordesk er en tech-virksomhed, der bruger AI til at matche selvstændige og startups med den perfekte kontorplads - uanset om det er i kontorfællesskab eller egne lokaler. Vi befinder os i en branche, der i mange år har kørt efter de samme principper, i samme tempo og ikke mindst: baseret på den samme, gamle teknologi. Nordesks stifter - Lukas Gjetting - er udvikler af baggrund og har en håndfuld startups bag sig, både som seniorudvikler, co-founder og solo founder. Vi bruger vores dybe tekniske forståelse til at bygge interne systemer og AI-baserede processer, som gør det muligt at skalere med et lille team. Ehub ApS

EHUB is an innovative analytics platform designed to help teams enhance their performance by analyzing their communication dynamics, with an initial focus on professional esports, specifically CS:GO. Our startup combines Natural Language Processing (NLP), voice analysis, and domain expertise with cutting-edge research to provide actionable insights for improving communication strategies. Our primary goal is to expand our technology into other high-pressure team environments where effective communication is crucial, such as other sports, defense/military operations, emergency response units, and corporate teams. We believe that our unique approach to communication analysis can revolutionize the way teams in various domains evaluate and enhance their performance. Having already attracted attention from the Danish Government and secured a grant to continue the development of our prototype, we are well-positioned to make a significant impact in the esports industry as our first application. By demonstrating our platform's value in the competitive world of esports, we aim to showcase the potential benefits our technology can bring to a wide range of high-stakes team environments.

Goodtalks

About Goodtalks is a professional digital network for woman. The platform supports woman in building a strong network they can draw upon to advance their career. Our goal is gender equality in leadership roles and management boards – to the benefit of the individual, corporations and society at large. The What SDG 5: gender equality Despite the fact that it’s recognised more women in top management has a positive impact on the bottom line, gender equality in Danish leadership roles and management boards leaves a lot to be desired. With 27% of woman in leadership positions Denmark is the lowest ranking of the Nordic countries and even below the OECD average of 31%.1 When it comes to corporate and board management numbers are even lower. In 2018 the proportion of women in top management was 13% and board management 17% , and the trend is decreasing. For instance only one of the C25 listed companies has a female CEO. One challenge is that candidates to fill top leadership positions are recruited via network and since these are male ‘heavy’ it creates a vicious circle that takes effort to interrupt.1 Goodtalks address the network issue that prevent women from landing top management positions by offering a platform where woman can build strong alliances and get support to grow their career. The How Goodtalks offer professional women a digital platform that allows them to build and strengthen their network across roles, functions and businesses. It works as an exchange of experiences and knowledge, which given the digital format removes barriers by making help, sparring and sharing easily available. In addition the setup encourages honest exchange of both good and challenging experiences, which serve to fuel our members with needed competencies and courage to advance their career. Further members are regularly offered the opportunity to meet in person at live events where they network and listen to two inspiring speakers (e.g. CEO’s and politicians) who share the unglossy version of their career stories. The Why Spending many years in Corporate World, Pernille who established Goodtalks, would at times find herself in organisations that had a deep negative impact on her mood and wellbeing. So much so that she would bring the tension home and take it out on her family. Searching for an explanation (and solution) a pattern emerged. Business where she had struggled to thrive all had a lack of female competencies in leadership roles and management boards in common. An imbalance that affected the entire organisation. A deep desire to facilitate balanced organisation via gender equality and change this dynamic took root. Pernille identified community as a key leaver to achieve this. An environment where women can meet up online and offline to share experiences and support each others growth. She also recognised that in order for the sharing to be relatable and have a transformational impact it had to be honest and ‘unglossy’. Soon after Goodtalks was launched.
