Current methods of video enhancement and upscaling used in film and TV preservation are manual, making them prohibitively expensive and time-consuming. Pixop automates the entire process using proprietary algorithms to improve the perceptual quality of footage while eliminating both complexity and cost. It includes a host of powerful features, including video asset management, storage, video quality analysis, transcoding, a range of share options, and a quality guarantee. Pixop is built on AWS infrastructure and can easily be scaled to accommodate variable workloads and requirements. As things stand, much of the audiovisual artifacts of the 20th and 21st centuries — including reels of beloved film and television — are in danger of being lost due to source degradation and obsolete technology.
