Liva Healthcare

Liva is a platform and app for people living with chronic diseases such as obesity, kohl, diabetes and cardiovascular disease. The Liva team has previously created NetDoktor and other successful startups in the health sector, and now they’re eager to disrupt the market and offer more lifestyle-related treatment than regular healthcare does, moving away from purely medical treatment traditions. This happens through advanced digital personal guidance, lifestyle and disease tracking, user forum etc. We’re a small, dedicated team of skilled individuals, and we’re very flexible. Since knowledge sharing is the easiest when working in one room, we’ve agreed to work as much as possible from the office. If we can’t hire the best of the best people, we often prefer outsourcing our tasks. We place the social element at the heart of Liva, with a blast of a Christmas lunch (this year taking place at the Tivoli amusement park) and regular team dinners too. We set quarterly goals, and upon fulfilling them we celebrate by traveling together, going for luxury dining or the like. A startup like Liva is very uncomplicated and all individuals get a lot of decision making power. The need for our platform is here, this is clear since many customers have signed up before our actual product has launched - some have even told us they’ve been waiting for a product like this for 10 years.

Founded in Copenhagen in 2019, Legacy is a purpose-driven start-up helping commercial real estate owners calculate their CO2 emissions through digitalisation, automation, and user-friendly design. As the real estate business is a dirty one - accountable for almost 18% of global emissions alone - we believe it represents an exciting opportunity to create real impact. That’s why we’ve built a platform helping real estate companies turn good intentions into tangible action based on reliable and transparent data. Things are moving fast, and we need help to keep up. Rope Robotics

Rope Robotics is the developer and producer of an automatic BR-8 robot to be used as a unique repair solution for leading edges on turbine blades. Wind turbine blades need to be repaired to maintain their high performance. With manual labor turbine blades can only be repaired 20% of the time during a year due to the fact that it requires technicians to climb up with support from ropes. Using our robot to do the repair and maintenance work in the heights, we are going to expand this repair window and to improve the working environment for the technicians. We have several robot pilots in the pipeline in various places around the world and have received major funding from the EU and Danish Government.

Lun

Our carbon emissions are still increasing, and the evidence for dramatic climate change is all around. We want to do our part in solving it. In Europe, 12% of our carbon emissions come from heating our homes - just as much as using our cars. Getting those emissions to zero will be a gargantuan task: retrofitting 90 million buildings across many countries is a hard problem. Lun’s mission is to decarbonise homes faster, by building an operating system for tradespeople in the European energy renovation industry. Our first task is to make heat pump installations an absolute no-brainer for plumbers and electricians.

With data and science, we are empowering women to understand their body and hormonal cycle. More than ever before, women are interested in tracking and understanding their menstrual cycle. As an example, ~80% of women don’t know when their monthly ovulation occurs, the main event in their menstrual cycle and a key health indicator. This lack of awareness is a contributing factor to the growing problem of hormonal diseases (~60% of women suffers from hormonal imbalances) and infertility worldwide (~15-20% of women).
