We founded FoodOp in 2020 with the mission of combatting food waste in commercial kitchens. However, it quickly turned out that food waste was a symptom of an analog ecosystem with great potential to improve the environmental footprint, productivity, and quality of food servings. Therefore, we have ended up building a digital platform that helps professional kitchens reduce Co2 and admin workload. We do so through a menu planning module, a display module, and an ESG reporting module where kitchens can manage Co2, organic produce, nutrition, and food waste.
