BrainCapture is a Danish startup developing a revolutionary medical technology adressing the lack of access to neurological diganostics. This lack of access leads to millions of people going without diagnosis and treatment for conditions like Epilepsy. We believe this significant global issue can be addressed by applying the tools of the 21st century - smartphones, connectivity, AI and automation - to the outdated medical technology and practices currently in use. We also believe that the vast disparity in access to care represents an opportunity. We are creating an Electroencephalogram (EEG) device which is easy to use, telemedicine optimized, and AI assisted in order to offer EEG as a service. The idea of an affordable, portable, connected EEG device has matured rapidly since BrainCapture was founded in 2019. Our founding team consists of leading AI professors from DTU, a Harvard professor in Epilepsy, engineers with execution experience and strong senior investors. Conceiving through donation is often a complicated, highly regulated, time consuming, impersonal and expensive process. Because of this many future parents and donors go to the private market, however the current solutions in place are chaotic, low quality and lack safety. Y factor is working to remove the majority of these barriers. We have built an app that provides a transparent, accessible, and personal way for people to achieve their family dreams through peer to peer sperm donation, connecting future parents with donors. Go Dogo offers deep-tech products that help dog parents keep their dogs mentally healthy. Dogs need mental stimulation to stay healthy. The stimulation should be based on both owner-facilitated and owner-independent challenges. The owner-facilitated mental stimulation (different types of training) is critically important, as it is not just mental stimulation - it builds and continuously strengthens the human-dog bond. Solving owner-independent challenges on the other hand is extremely important because it boosts the dog's self esteem and self confidence, which is crucial in order to prevent many behaviour problems, such as insecurity, anxiety, aggression, in-door soiling, excessive barking/whining, destructive behavior and canine depression. Available solutions that may provide owner-independent mental workout are low-tech products made out of wood, plastic, cloth or a combination. They are typically about moving or pushing or clawing at something to find or release a hidden treat. They are not giving any instructions or feedback and they have no progression - so they are usually either too easy or too difficult. If too easy, the dog does not get a whole lot of mental workout - and if too difficult the dog tends to give up fast, and hence does still not get the desired mental workout. The solution is our Go Dogo! Go Dogo uses the home TV to give the needed instructions and feedback and it dispenses treats as rewards when the dog does an exercise correct - or in some situations to support the motivation to keep trying. Computer vision enables Go Dogo to recognise the dogs movements, and the intelligent software adapts to each dog individually and only gradually increases the level of difficulty to ensure adequate mental stimulation.
