Elderlearn

There are too many lonely elderly people and it is too difficult to learn Danish as a foreigner. We solve these two problems by arranging for foreigners, learning Danish, to visit elderly Danes. The foreigner comes to the home of the Dane once a week, They learn Danish by having a normal conversation with the elderly.Municipalities pay us for bettering their activation of the elderly and their integration of foreigners. Currently I, Andreas, is the only one working at Elderlearn. I am however sitting in offices with other start-ups with whom I always have lunch with. I find lunch to be a crucial part of the day and always take at least half an hour free to eat and talk with the others in the office.I love playing board games, eating good food and meeting new people. If you join the team you will be a big part of shaping the office culture, and I will look very much forward to finding my first colleague.Since I am moving to another start-up office soon, the below images show some of the foreigners and elderly I have introduced to each other. They do still give a good impression of why, how, and what we do here at Elderlearn.

CM Navigator A/S

CM Navigator A/S – part of Copenhagen Merchants Group - is the company behind the digital platform for market intelligence and decision support in the agri-commodity and freight sectors – CM Navigator. Founded by Copenhagen Merchants Group, CM Navigator was initially developed in-house (starting around 2018) to aggregate the wealth of tacit market knowledge held by the group’s brokers and shipping experts. It was subsequently launched as a commercial SaaS platform in 2022 and later incorporated as an independent company in 2023 (while remaining majority-owned by CM Group). What it offers: CM Navigator provides real-time data and analytics tools to track commodity markets and logistics: • Live Prices & Global Benchmarks: Users get daily updated prices from major export regions (North America, South America, Europe, Black Sea, Australia, etc.) and a global CFR price matrix covering 600+ destinations, allowing easy comparison of origin competitiveness. This helps traders see, for example, how US corn fob prices plus freight compare to Brazilian corn into a given import market. • Freight Forecasting: The platform includes advanced freight tools that let users search among 250,000+ bulk freight routes with up to 12-month forward curves. This essentially functions as an instant freight rate calculator: a trader can input a specific load port and discharge port (or even a combination for multi-leg trades) and get current freight cost estimates and future rates. Such capability, drawn from Navi Merchants’ data, simplifies evaluating the delivered cost of commodities. • Supply/Demand & Trade Flows: CM Navigator continuously updates global supply and demand balances for key crops, and tracks trade flows. It integrates official data with on-the-ground insights (e.g., port line-up information) to give an up-to-date picture of export/import volumes and stock levels. This dynamic data can alert users to changes (such as a sudden surge in Ukrainian wheat exports or a drought cutting Argentine soy supply) much faster than traditional reports. • News & Insights: The platform delivers relevant news flashes and in-house analysis. For instance, it might highlight policy changes, weather events, or logistical issues affecting markets, along with commentary from CM’s analysts. Users also receive reports like grain export summaries or freight market outlooks, helping them stay ahead in volatile markets. Strategic purpose: The creation of CM Navigator reflects the group’s goal to “empower traders of all sizes in all countries” by democratizing access to high-quality market data. It takes the tacit knowledge that Copenhagen Merchants accumulated (through decades of brokerage and logistics operations) and scales it via technology. Internally, the platform ensures CM’s own teams and key clients operate with the same up-to-date information. Externally, it has become a new revenue stream and value proposition, attracting subscribers from the wider industry. By providing transparency and decision-support, CM Navigator strengthens Copenhagen Merchants Group’s role as an information broker. Its strategic goal is to be the go-to platform for anyone looking for integrated data on grains and freight, thereby enhancing market efficiency and extending the group’s influence in the digital domain.

Sisi Copenhagen

Sisi Copenhagen is a Danish direct-to-consumer jewelry brand building lasting jewelry for life's most meaningful moments, sold exclusively through channels we own. Our assortment is broad by design, but within the bridal segment we are expanding fast. No retailers, no marketplaces, no middlemen. Bootstrapped since 2017 and among the fastest-growing brands in the established jewelry scene. The jewelry industry runs on markups, distance, and inertia. Legacy brands stack middleman margins onto every piece, sell through cold and transactional channels where no one is accountable after the purchase, and move slowly in an industry that rarely questions how it operates. The result: jewelry that costs more than it should, bought through experiences that feel impersonal at exactly the moments that matter most, an engagement, an anniversary, a gift meant to say what words can't. We think the people buying jewelry for the meaningful moments in their lives deserve better than that. We own the entire chain. We design our own pieces and work directly with the best workshops in the world, so there are no supply-chain middlemen inflating the price. We sell only through our own channels, which means every relationship is direct: the person who advises on a diamond ring and the person who handles a question afterward both work at Sisi Copenhagen. Operations, customer service, and marketing are run in-house, with focused external support where it makes sense. We're also spearheading lab-grown diamonds, the best current vehicle for offering fine jewelry at honest prices, and we treat experience as a core differentiator. We're constantly building better ways to buy jewelry across both the digital and physical space, from the online journey to in-store and video consultations. Experience innovation is where a lot of our energy goes. This is a lean, owned, constantly refined model. Revenue grew from 6M to roughly 75M DKK in four years, we've won four consecutive Gazelle Awards, and we've done all of it with zero external funding. That independence is a deliberate strategy: we grow on our own terms, reinvest in the business, and answer to our customers rather than investors. Sisi started with Vivi, who grew up around her mother's jewelry trade and built the company alone for years: full-time job by day, the business by night, her own money on the line. Christian joined from the entrepreneurial side, drawn to building something from nothing. We've grown the brand through the same milestones it marks for others: partnership, parenthood, building a home. We lead without hierarchy and hire people who want real ownership over what they build, whether that's shaping how the company runs or architecting the systems and processes behind it. If you're curious, self-driven, and want to see your work land directly on the business, you'll fit here.
