Swöm is a Nordic safety tech startup addressing drowning, one of the leading causes of death. Through the use of sensor and wearable airbag technology we have developed smart swimwear which automatically inflates in a potential drowning situation. Our initial product focus on children with plans for further expansion into the active water lifestyle segments (surfers, swimmers, kayakers etc) through licensing of our technology to leading brands across the globe. We have over a 3 year R&D period developed a unique and patent pending wearable safety hardware platform and are now in the process of starting commercialisation as well as developing version two which includes the introduction of space tech to add a tracking and alarm feature to the product. Our funding comes from both investors as well as grants. We were born in the incubation program at the VC Antler and have received grants for instance from the European Space Agency and the Danish Innovation fund. Our headquarters are based at the DTU campus in Kongens Lyngby.

PayTjek is developing an AI-powered payroll verification platform that helps employees detect and resolve salary discrepancies through automated collective agreement analysis and intelligent error detection. Payroll errors are a widespread and costly problem, with billions lost each year because employees never uncover them. Payslips are often complex and difficult to understand without specialist knowledge of collective agreements and labor laws — expertise usually reserved for lawyers, union representatives, and HR professionals. This leaves everyday workers, from healthcare staff to teachers, at risk of losing money they are rightfully owed. PayTjek democratizes payroll expertise. Employees simply upload their payslip, and our AI analyzes salary data, cross-references it with relevant collective agreements, checks against work schedules and contracts, and flags discrepancies or missing payments. The results are delivered in clear, plain language, giving workers both understanding and actionable next steps. Our technology is built to interpret even the most complex Danish labor agreements, with a roadmap to expand across European markets. We are driven by a strong sense of fairness. Payroll verification has long been out of reach for the people who need it most. Without the right tools, employees have been left powerless in the face of errors. Our story ChromaWay is a blockchain technology company. Since 2014, we have been developing and refining industry-defining blockchain technology platforms. Blockchain pioneers We created the first protocol for issuing tokens on the Bitcoin network. We used it to issue fiat currency together with LHV bank in 2014, and then to crowdfund startups on the Funderbeam platform. We designed a blockchain agnostic client-side validated smart contracting platform that put privacy first before privacy became a hot topic in blockchain. Technology by us We are the creators of relational blockchain, a new blockchain architecture which combines the power and flexibility of a relational database and the fault tolerant decentralised security of a blockchain. We built Postchain, a private blockchain or consortium database using the relational blockchain architecture. Postchain has registered property on three continents, accelerated the growth of green finance, and formed the basis for a proposed national e-currency. Relational blockchain also powers Chromia, our public platform for decentralized applications. Relational blockchain allows Chromia to offer a user and developer experience which no other blockchain platform can match.

They have made it with a particular focus on a user-friendly experience, so that people can both create and order their photo books while grocery shopping or in the bus on the way home from work. Because the team would like to spread the joy of perpetuated memories and the possibility to make simple, personalized, and cheap photo books to even more people, they now have entered the international market. In doing so they have also launched their website and app in English versions, while their photo books are delivered to all of Europe. With a sustainable aim. As the team wishes to give something back to the resources they use in their production, SubBook has joined in with the organization One Tree Planted. This collaboration means that a tree is planted every time a customer orders three books using the SubBook app. The team care a great deal about the traces they leave on our Earth and because of this, they only use paper qualities complying with international environmental requirements. This also means that their customers can order books with a clean and green conscience. For now, the SubBook app only works with iPhones, but as a part of their international launch the team is working tirelessly on developing an app for Android users, so that many more can join in on getting pictures out of the phones and into the photo books.
