SubReader ApS

Seven per cent of the world population suffers from dyslexia and other reading difficulties. SubReader has built an app that reads subtitles aloud for dyslexics, across platforms: In the cinema, on streaming services as Netflix, HBO and Viaplay and in the school. Founded in 2016 we launched the first cinema integrations in 2017, now servicing 90+ cinemas. In 2018 we launched SubReader Plus, offering premium integrations with the major streaming services and helping thousands of dyslexics. We're now expanding into the Nordic region, growing our user base and integrating with public service providers, distributors and more streaming services internationally. SubReader has received numerous prices such as; Company of the Year Europe, Danish Design Award (2019), Entrepreneur of the Year (2019) and winner of Venture Cup Denmark and finalist in University Startup World Cup (2020).

Y factor

Conceiving through donation is often a complicated, highly regulated, time consuming, impersonal and expensive process. Because of this many future parents and donors go to the private market, however the current solutions in place are chaotic, low quality and lack safety. Y factor is working to remove the majority of these barriers. We have built an app that provides a transparent, accessible, and personal way for people to achieve their family dreams through peer to peer sperm donation, connecting future parents with donors. This is something that will make a difference in countless lives. We believe in what we’re building and the social good it brings. We are currently in the early stages of our startup journey, with a small team, working both remotely and from our office in Frederiksberg. Techference started operations on 25th Oct 2021. Products: Techference builds and operates SaaS to support MICE events in Europe. Products as on 28Nov 2021 Scanosk: Scanosk is a Do-it-yourself contactless attendee management solution for in-person & hybrid events. It helps to enhance the experience of event attendees using QR code by automating event check-in, seamless access control management and real-time tracking and accurate analytics of the activities for organiser and sponsors. Scanosk further helps to increase the event participation to global audience using its streaming tool. Interlangue: Interlangue is a Remote Simultaneous Interpretation tool to translate live streaming content into multiple languages. It is a widget tool that can be integrated with any virtual / hybrid event platform. Why Techference exists? Scanosk is positioned for the Post-Corona world where in-person attendance to conferences is expected to see a sharp increase in 2022-23. A contactless interaction during check-in can provide much-needed hygiene for the attendees. The customer is event organisers and sponsors. In post-covid times, the large scale events will require strict adherence to “limited contact” during events – this poses a challenge as the current solutions are dependent on attendees making manual contacts during the check-in to the events. Scanosk is positioned to solve this issue while giving in-depth real-time analysis data for events monitoring and Return-on-Investment evaluation.

Alice.tech

Alice makes personalized learning accessible for students and teachers using the latest in AI. More than 50,000 students across the world have already used Alice. In 2025 we joined Y Combinator’s W25 batch in San Francisco, and we raised almost $6m to scale. Though still small, our team punches above its weight – with backgrounds from Top Universities, McKinsey, PhDs in Machine Learning, 10+ years of teaching, and even Denmark’s top high school GPA. CAMAR ApS

CAMAR is a new innovative Danish software company founded in March 2017 that now works in an international context (currently Denmark, Sweden, U.S.A., UK and Latvia). CAMAR has nine highly skilled active owners, two FTE and in process of expanding the organisation. CAMAR has invented a technology `TacTile Pinpoint´ that enables existing touch devices to provide tactile feedback while “hoover” with a finger over a screen. In April 2018, we granted the US patent for its technical fundament and it continues to develop worldwide patent applications. The first edition of Software Development Kit (SDK) is in place and demo app prepared and about to start PoC projects with international companies. CAMAR’s proprietary and patented technology “TacTile PinPoint” uses vibration to dramatically increase the tactile feedback from touchscreens, affording users a much more intuitive experience, while reducing the need to look at the touchscreen. TacTile PinPoint enables a much safer interaction with touchscreens, especially in situations where a moment’s distraction can have disastrous consequences, such as driving or operating machinery.
