We develop and market a1 – the next generation of small-business accounting software. Our company is a bootstrap startup, created by alumni of Navision and Damgaard (both acquired by Microsoft) – the original developers of the products now known as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics 365 for Finance & Operations.

We're a hospitaliy tech startup servicing hotels and conference centers with our SaaS-solution. Our products help them resell to previous customers, upsell to current customers, whilst also streamlining their operations through our industry specific automation suite. We're a tight knit team in a small startup with global ambitions. We have a "work hard, play hard"- attitude, very much as a consequence of the industry we're in - it's all hard workers with a love for the better things in life - good food, good company, good wine. EcoTree is a green-tech company specializing in sustainability. Our goal is to promote environmental awareness and engage individuals and businesses in eco-friendly behaviour by offering simple, concrete, and financially viable solutions to becoming a tree or even forest owner. Every single day 3.4 billion tons of CO2 is released into the atmosphere worldwide. In Europe, we are among the worst polluters in the world. While we can do a lot to reduce our emissions, it is impossible to stay completely CO2 neutral. You can, in turn, offset your carbon footprint by planting trees. As a matter of fact, the forest is one of our best means to fight global warming, as trees absorb CO2 through the process of photosynthesis. EcoTree has democratized and digitalized forestry. With EcoTree, it is easy and accessible both for individuals and businesses to contribute to the reforestation and preservation of our common green heritage. EcoTree enables everybody to become a tree owner. EcoTree has a team of forest experts that take care of planting and maintaining the forests in which your trees are located. You, being the owner of the trees, are entitled to receive 100% of the revenue generated from the wood sale when your trees have reached maturity, cut, and the forest is renewed. EcoTree implements a “close to nature” forestry management plan in which the preservation of the biodiversity in the forest is kept at the heart of our activities, and for every tree that is cut, EcoTree plants three new ones. The idea behind EcoTree came up when a group of French childhood friends went to Copenhagen on a trip in 2014. There were many things that the group of friends adored about the Scandinavian lifestyle, but one thing that especially struck them was the well-functioning bottle deposit system. On each can, glass, or plastic bottle you purchase in Denmark you pay a small premium as a deposit that you get back when returning the empty bottles and cans to the supermarket. Consequently, the cities are clean and society more sustainable. This simple idea of rewarding sustainability led to the foundation of EcoTree. Approximately 600,000 newly planted trees later, the idea that was born in Scandinavia returns to its place of origin, as EcoTree has opened its new international office in Copenhagen in September 2019.

CAMAR is a new innovative Danish software company founded in March 2017 that now works in an international context (currently Denmark, Sweden, U.S.A., UK and Latvia). CAMAR has nine highly skilled active owners, two FTE and in process of expanding the organisation. CAMAR has invented a technology `TacTile Pinpoint´ that enables existing touch devices to provide tactile feedback while “hoover” with a finger over a screen. In April 2018, we granted the US patent for its technical fundament and it continues to develop worldwide patent applications. The first edition of Software Development Kit (SDK) is in place and demo app prepared and about to start PoC projects with international companies. CAMAR’s proprietary and patented technology “TacTile PinPoint” uses vibration to dramatically increase the tactile feedback from touchscreens, affording users a much more intuitive experience, while reducing the need to look at the touchscreen. TacTile PinPoint enables a much safer interaction with touchscreens, especially in situations where a moment’s distraction can have disastrous consequences, such as driving or operating machinery.

Customer onboarding is a central piece of the overall client journey as it is often the first experience that clients go through. It is however also a process fraught with complexity and ever-changing rules and regulations. At its core, a process that needs to satisfy relatively opposite forces - compliance/regulation and customer/user experience. The best proven way of tackling this problem is to build a sleek user experience and use the latest digital identity services to shorten the process as much as possible. The issue with this is that it can take months to implement just a single identity service and from that point making future changes would require even further development resources. HelloFlow is a Platform as a Service (PaaS) company that was started to explore ways of solving this issue. Our founders had previously been met with a similar situation when they were asked to implement onboarding solutions for some of Europe’s largest companies. The essence of the platform is that it combines two functionalities: 1. an easy way to create and adjust an onboarding “flow” and 2. a service infrastructure that allows a given company to “drag and drop” identity services into their new process. What this results in, is a platform where building compliant, best-in-class digital onboarding flows can now be done in minutes, without writing a single line of code.
