Holme Group is a Danish based e-commerce operator specialized in developing and managing Internet shops. The company was founded in 2009 and have since expanded to 14 European countries. The idea behind Mutonic came from discovering that many companies did not have the resources available in order to always make sure they got the best prices and delivery terms when purchasing products within the IT category. Through the Mutonic platform we offer them access to a large network of suppliers as well as many user-friendly features, that ultimately can save them both time and money, all while offering a fair market chance for the suppliers connected to the platform. What is RE-ZIP RE-ZIP is a circular packaging concept offering circular packaging to more or less all players in the ecommerce industry. By circulating and hence reusing rather than using single-use packaging (even recycled) we save CO2 even the first time a packaging is reused. It works likes this RE-ZIP delivers the packaging to webshops who offer the sustainable packing solution to their customers at check-out for a minor fee (paid back via reward voucher upon returning the packaging). Upon receipt of the goods the customer folds the RE-ZIP packaging to a return format and return it at a Drop Point. The packaging is returned to the RE-ZIP warehouse for cleaning and re-circulation to the webshops. The RE-ZIP packaging can be circulated up to 10 times, but more importantly the packaging will begin saving CO2 Within the first or second use – depending on the type. RE-ZIP has developed a state-of-the-art backend system supporting the above process and are currently operating in Denmark, UK and Poland.
