Agoprene is a biotech startup based in Oslo and Copenhagen. Agoprene is developing furniture foam from biomass to help the furniture industry reduce their need for petrochemicals. ​ Globally, furniture foam, which is derived from petroleum, accounts for 105 million tonnes of CO2 emissions annually. One armchair for example, emits an average of 43 kg CO2e, almost half of which is due to furniture foam. ​ Agoprene's foam is completely free of petrochemicals. We believe finding planet-friendly alternatives isn’t a challenge; it’s an opportunity.

At Lyras, we develop and manufacture systems for the liquid food processing industry.We aim to replace traditional heat-based pasteurization and spore removal in the food processing industry by introducing our novel cold pasteurisation technology, which reduces the energy consumption related to traditional heat-pasteurization by more than 90%.Our goal is to provide a greener and more efficient technological change to a global industry, allowing for a truly sustainable production chain.

Flow Loop has developed a shower panel that is able to save up to 85% water and energy while providing a better flow than a standard shower.The savings are achieved by constantly micro-filtering, UV-purifying and recirculating shower water directly from the existing shower floor.Because the system is plug&play it is easy to retro-fit in existing bathrooms. The self-cleaning micro-filters ensure low maintenance. The high flow of recirculated water ensures higher comfort with a clean conscious. Companies and organizations needs to be able to calculate and document carbon footprint on the goods they sell. Unfortunately this is currently a very complicated and time-consuming task! We automate the process of calculating and documenting product's carbon footprint through intuitive software, providing high-quality data and a seamless user experience. Quantified Impacts is founded in late 2022. We have secured initial capital and have set the path to reach our mission. We have offices in Valby Copenhagen and in Bjerringbro Jutland.

UNYA Copenhagen is a volunteer-driven youth organization dedicated to empowering young people to engage with global challenges through the lens of the United Nations’ values and the Sustainable Development Goals.
