What is RE-ZIP RE-ZIP is a circular packaging concept offering circular packaging to more or less all players in the ecommerce industry. By circulating and hence reusing rather than using single-use packaging (even recycled) we save CO2 even the first time a packaging is reused. It works likes this RE-ZIP delivers the packaging to webshops who offer the sustainable packing solution to their customers at check-out for a minor fee (paid back via reward voucher upon returning the packaging). Upon receipt of the goods the customer folds the RE-ZIP packaging to a return format and return it at a Drop Point. The packaging is returned to the RE-ZIP warehouse for cleaning and re-circulation to the webshops. The RE-ZIP packaging can be circulated up to 10 times, but more importantly the packaging will begin saving CO2 Within the first or second use – depending on the type. RE-ZIP has developed a state-of-the-art backend system supporting the above process and are currently operating in Denmark, UK and Poland. NitroVolt is decarbonizing nitrogen-based fertilizer production and making the agricultural sector more resilient with a novel production process. Commercial ammonia production supports 40-50% of the agricultural industry as a nitrogen-based fertilizer. But current ammonia production is not sustainable, releasing over 1% of global greenhouse gas emissions during production facilities and further emissions during transportation to the end user, farmers. NitroVolt offers a local ammonia production solution that gives farmers the ability to produce their own nitrogen-based fertilizer. The only inputs required by NitroVolt’s container-sized systems are air, water, and electricity, enabling production of sustainable ammonia directly at farms. NitroVolt’s patented electrochemical Nitrolyzer unit can make ammonia on-demand with intermittent renewable energy sources.
