Kvasir Technologies

Kvasir is solving one of the most difficult problems in the world; how to replace fossil fuels in the heavy transportation industries. Kvasir has developed and patented a unique process to convert ligno-cellulosic plant biomass (straw, wood, bagasse etc. ) to marine fuel in a simple one step process. The process involves cooking biomass in an alcohol atmosphere under pressure, effectively liquefying the biomass. Were developing our technology in our in-house lab and workshop facilities in Soeborg and are also collaborating with universities in both Denmark and abroad.

We are a startup company changing how the turfcare industry approaches natural grass in a sustainable and cost-efficient way using a patent-pending new sunlight reflecting solution - currently available for both football stadiums and golf courses. We have sat up the first reflector solution in Brøndby Stadium, which you might have seen in the media, and we are now looking to expand our team with more skillful professionals ready to work in the intersection between engineering, sports and sustainability.

STAC Technology ApS

The need for cooling is growing all over the world due to global warming. STAC's focus is on developing zero emission cooling solutions using water as the refrigerant and our product solutions are made to plug and play replace current cooling chillers using destructive synthetic refrigerants. STAC Technology makes sustainable industrial cooling solutions exclusively using water as the refrigerant. STAC's cooling solutions are designed to be used in multiple applications across a variety of industries. STAC Technology is a hardtech cleantech R&D Engineering company was started in 2016 and has been going through a speedy development since 2020 and is now funded by EIC, European Innovation Council and the commercialization phase in 2024-2027 will be funded by a consortium consisting of EIB, European Investment Bank and others.

Koordinat is a Copenhagen-based start-up building computer vision products for protecting biodiversity and nature. The EU targets of 30% protected nature relies on heavy administrative work related to monitoring and ensuring the nature in fact is protected. We are devoted to building precise AI-systems than can automate and assist with the monitoring of reserved nature. G&T Battery Solutions’ package covers energy storage, grid stabilization, arbitrage trading, and spans from financing, procurement, installation to full operation and remote support. Our BESS-as-a-service (PaaS) model allows customers to rent batteries for a manageable annual subscription fee, with zero upfront costs. Customers access BESS technology at no cost. Under the Battery Revenue Sharing Agreement, they annually repay loans and receive a share of the annual revenue, net financial costs. G&T Battery Solutions retains battery ownership until the loans are fully repaid. SoGreen

Girls' education is an incredibly powerful climate solution due to its stong relationship with child marriage prevention and subsequent delayed motherhood; impacting population growth and lowering consumption-based emissions. 130 million girls in the world's poorest and most climate-vulnerable communities are effectively excluded from education due to poverty. Humanitarian organizations in low-income countries constantly struggle to fundraise and are never able to fully meet the needs of the most marginalized. SoGreen is a startup with a big heart and an even bigger ambition: A world where all girls realise their right to education and climate justice is placed at the heart of all climate action. In collaboration with leading scientists at renowned European research institutions in the field of demography and climate science,* SoGreen has developed a methodology to quantify the climate impact of girls' education in tonnes CO2-equivalent avoided. This allows for the generation of carbon credits (1 ton = 1 carbon credit) which can be sold on the international carbon market to channel climate finance to girls' education. In partnership with FAWEZA, a leading pan-African NGO focusing on girls' education, SoGreen's pilot project is being implemented in Zambia. Over the coming 5 years, the project will ensure a full secondary education for 180 marginalized girls. All carbon credits generated by the project have been sold ex ante to over 30 companies that have ambitious sustainability strategies, which allow for the use of carbon credits in addition to reducing their own emissions. SoGreen aims to be the provider of the worlds most popular carbon credits within the next 5 years; resulting in a powerful reduction in emissions and a massive increase in educational attainment - a basic human right. *International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) in Austria, Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) in Germany, and The Wittgenstein Centre for Demography and Global Human Capital (WIC) in Austria.

Consibio is developing an IoT/Cloud platform for enabling real-time production data with advanced analysis features, that provide actionable and deep insights in the bio industry. Sustainable bio industries are suffering from inefficient resource usage and low productivity due to lack of data and insights, which is a major barrier to the green transition. That's why we created Consibio Cloud to solve that.

Spiio

Spiio is an In-Ground Data as a Service provider, helping sports turf professionals enhance agronomic decision making, to save money and labor time when managing their golf courses and sports facilities. Our customers include high profile golf courses in the USA, great American Football teams, baseball fields, champions league soccer clubs in Europe and multinational agriculture fertiliser companies.

+impact accelerator

We are an equity-free acceleration program for seed and series A impact startups in the Nordics. The accelerator runs two batches a year, one in spring focused on Agrifood and one in the autumn on Smart Cities. The program lasts 7-8 weeks and is implemented by WeWork Labs, Danske Bank and RISE in Stockholm.

GLYON

GLYON is developing a CO₂-powered textile-to-textile recycling technology to help brands, fiber producers, and recyclers solve the growing textile waste crisis with a breakthrough chemical recycling process that turns waste into virgin-quality raw materials for new fibers—without fossil fuels. We address the massive problem of textile waste, a global crisis where over 92 million tonnes of textile waste are discarded each year—most of it ending up in landfills or incinerated. This contributes to major pollution issues but also forces the textile industry to continue its dependence on virgin fossil-based materials. Our solution targets fiber producers, brands, and recyclers who need circular raw material solutions. Our CO₂-based chemical recycling process breaks down polyester textiles into building blocks and leaves other fibers like cotton intact. Both PET building blocks and cotton can be used to produce new, high-quality fibers without the need for virgin oil and reducing water consumption and CO₂ emissions.

Perma Padel is revolutionizing the padel industry with high-performance rackets, made from fully recyclable materials. Traditional rackets break quickly, create massive waste, and rely on outdated manufacturing. We’ve engineered a stronger, better and longer-lasting alternative using cutting-edge materials and precision automation. We are currently finalizing product development and expect to launch in the summer of 2025.
