Enduro Genetics is a startup committed to improving large-scale fermentations, closing the scale-up gap to make bioproducts possible at any scale. We offer our proprietary platform Enduro Sense that enhances large-scale fermentation by optimising population heterogeneity. Enduro Sense is a seamlessly integrated, self-selecting technology that addicts microbial cells to production and therefore eliminates low-producing cells. Rope Robotics is the developer and producer of an automatic BR-8 robot to be used as a unique repair solution for leading edges on turbine blades. Wind turbine blades need to be repaired to maintain their high performance. With manual labor turbine blades can only be repaired 20% of the time during a year due to the fact that it requires technicians to climb up with support from ropes. Using our robot to do the repair and maintenance work in the heights, we are going to expand this repair window and to improve the working environment for the technicians. We have several robot pilots in the pipeline in various places around the world and have received major funding from the EU and Danish Government.

Hybrid Greentech inspires organisations to be green pioneers and invest in energy storage so we together can reach 100% renewable energy. With a core technology of thermal energy harvesting, TEGnology works on smart power supply solutions for future IoT devices, which don't rely on batteries or cables. It opens opporutnities for generating more data, making more precise moniroting, or installing sensor in the places difficult to reach. Digital transition and industrial automantion sill based on installing a large number of wireless sensor nodes, most of which are currently powered by batteries. Despite the relatively low cost of batteries, the enevitable man-powered involved in maintaining the keeping track of batteries might be problematic, not to mention batteries pollutes. Thermal energy harvesting converts temperature gradience directly into electricity. No moving parts or chemical reactions are involved. The lifetime of thermal generator is therefore typically decades. During the entire lifetime, more energy can be provided than any type of batteries. All materials used in TEGnology’s thermal energy harvesters are abundant and environmentally-friendly. The manufacture method is compatible with existing industrial standard. It makes up-scaling of production relatively straightforward.

Our carbon emissions are still increasing, and the evidence for dramatic climate change is all around. We want to do our part in solving it. In Europe, 12% of our carbon emissions come from heating our homes - just as much as using our cars. Getting those emissions to zero will be a gargantuan task: retrofitting 90 million buildings across many countries is a hard problem. Lun’s mission is to decarbonise homes faster, by building an operating system for tradespeople in the European energy renovation industry. Our first task is to make heat pump installations an absolute no-brainer for plumbers and electricians.

Responsibly is a sustainability tech start-up with vision of making every purchase in the world responsible 🌍 There's no bigger problem out there than the climate, and procurement represents a big part of the solution - when purchase decisions are made on the background of responsible data like CO2 footprint, suppliers have a huge incentive to change. However, procurement is becoming overloaded with complexity. Different frameworks, different data sources, different coverage, making it difficult to make purchase decisions to improve your responsibility profile and scope 3 emissions. At Responsibly, we're trying to solve this issue by using leading technologies and data science, to build a supplier data platform that makes it easier to source responsibly. We're founded by two serial entrepreneurs with previous successes like Dixa and Ofload, and have received pre-seed funding from some of Europe's top VCs and angels.
