Weel & Sandvig delivers market leading solutions addressing some of the worlds most challenging problems in the green transition of the process industry. We are working within the industrial sector with a broad international experience in different disciplines. We are developing innovative solution based on deep industrial insight and strong core competences within software and process engineering. Our core products are WS.PEMS & WS.Turbo. WS.PEMS (Predictive Emission Monitoring System) is our in-house developed software solution which is used globally by large industrial corporations, to control their stack emissions. WS.Turbo is our newly developed industrial high-temperature heat pump that supports the industry’s electrification significantly reducing the use of fossil fuel. Our office is located at the campus of DTU (Technical University of Denmark) and we have local partners in the Middle East and South East Asia.

Lun’s mission is to decarbonise homes faster, by building an operating system for tradespeople in the European energy renovation industry. Our first task is to make heat pump installations an absolute no-brainer for plumbers and electricians.

By combining millions of data points and the power of artificial intelligence, our system is capable of gaining deep insights into your buildings’ energy performance. We create a structured plan to save energy – the smart way. Did you know that building operations contribute to about 28% of global greenhouse gas emissions? Unfortunately, the current energy optimisation processes are slow and expensive. Using data and machine learning we can solve many of the inefficient steps in the process, including robust identification, prioritisation, collaboration, verification and monitoring of energy optimisation efforts. We currently cover over 18,000 buildings and have helped save more than 6,000 tons of CO2. Our team consists of 15 members spread across 4 countries, with our headquarters located in Denmark (Aarhus and Copenhagen). We also have active sales efforts in DK, Nordics, and the UK.

Kaffe Bueno is a Danish bioscience company based in Copenhagen, we upcycle coffee by-products into active and functional ingredients for cosmetics, nutraceuticals and functional foods. Our vision is to change the world sees coffee - from a caffeinated beverage to a sustainable resource for health and wellbeing. Our mission is to unlock coffee's health and commercial potential by taking advantage of the whole spectrum of its bioactive compounds. Some of the things we do: - Produce KAFFOIL: an active cosmetic ingredient upcycled from coffee grounds. It's used for healthy ageing, hair care, moisturising, and improving the skin barrier. You can find it in over 15 brands worldwide, including NIVEA. KAFFOIL is also used as an ingredient in food & beverage. - Produce KAFFIBRE: upcycled defatted coffee fibre used as an ingredient in cosmetics and food & beverage. - Circular partnerships: we upcycle spent coffee grounds from local businesses in Denmark into toiletries (hand soaps, shampoos, lotions and creams) and have a private label brand for these. - New products coming soon, all derived from molecules from within coffee.

Electricity Maps provides actionable electricity data for more than 200 regions. We help businesses more effectively reduce their emissions, and enable products and services to differentiate their offerings by empowering end-users to be more carbon-aware. As wind and solar production fluctuate throughout the day, this information needs to be dynamic and updated in real-time. As this real-time information about the physical origin of electricity will be scrutinized and challenged by many parties, the effort has to be collaborative, open, and transparent. This is what motivated the creation of Electricity Maps. It started as a simple real-time data visualization in June 2016 and turned into a comprehensive data platform with high scientific integrity. More than 40,000 people use our app on a daily basis and market leaders like Google and Microsoft, are using our API for extensive projects in order to reach their climate goals and help their users take action against climate change. Our goal: a truly decarbonized electricity system. To get there, we will organize the world's electricity information, and use it to drive the transition toward a truly decarbonized electricity system.
