We provide science-based carbon accounting software and tailored advice from net zero experts, enabling companies to reduce their carbon footprints. Our Story: Normative is rooted in climate research. In 2013, co-founder Kristian Rönn was working at Oxford University, simulating the consequences of climate change. The results showed that global warming would cause extreme human suffering, motivating Kristian to leave academia and take action. He joined forces with Adam Wamai Egesa and Robin Undall-Behrend, and in 2014 the world’s first carbon accounting engine was born to help humanity achieve net zero emissions and reverse the trajectory of climate change. We now have offices in Stockholm, Copenhagen, and London, and are actively hiring talent to join the mission. Today, companies from around the world trust our carbon accounting engine to help them reduce their carbon footprint. We partner with leading climate change organisations including the UN, to deliver actionable sustainability intelligence and have received a grant from Google. We are backed by some of the world’s most significant climate investors, and are the official software provider for the UN-backed SME Climate Hub initiative through which thousands of small businesses have committed to net zero. THE UPCYCL connects your industrial waste streams with your neighbors supply chain. We make it possible to reduce our amounts of industrial waste, by turning waste material streams into business opportunities. Our material database displays leftover materials from production, giving developers easy access to reusable materials, also called "New Waste". Hereby, achieving a significantly lower CO₂ footprint than with virgin materials. When circulating New Waste materials with the THE UPCYCL, we also offer to monitor CO₂ savings. Electricity Maps provides actionable electricity data for more than 200 regions. We help businesses more effectively reduce their emissions, and enable products and services to differentiate their offerings by empowering end-users to be more carbon-aware. As wind and solar production fluctuate throughout the day, this information needs to be dynamic and updated in real-time. As this real-time information about the physical origin of electricity will be scrutinized and challenged by many parties, the effort has to be collaborative, open, and transparent. This is what motivated the creation of Electricity Maps. It started as a simple real-time data visualization in June 2016 and turned into a comprehensive data platform with high scientific integrity. More than 40,000 people use our app on a daily basis and market leaders like Google and Microsoft, are using our API for extensive projects in order to reach their climate goals and help their users take action against climate change. Our goal: a truly decarbonized electricity system. To get there, we will organize the world's electricity information, and use it to drive the transition toward a truly decarbonized electricity system.

At Ento, we help organisations monitor and optimise energy consumption across large building portfolios. By combining millions of data points with artificial intelligence, we translate complex energy data into actionable insights that make it easier to reduce energy use, meet regulatory requirements, and document real savings and impact. Ento works with organisations across Europe, including municipalities, retail chains, social housing providers, and asset and property managers. Today, more than one third of all municipalities in Denmark use our platform, alongside large retail and real estate portfolios in Italy and the UK, as well as some of Europe’s largest cities. Over 50,000 buildings run on Ento, helping customers save more than 15,000 tons of CO₂. Our team consists of 11 experienced people across 4 countries, with offices in Denmark (Aarhus and Copenhagen). We work in a hybrid setup, combining remote work with the flexibility to collaborate from the office when it makes sense. This way of working relies on trust rather than strict rules and gives people a high degree of autonomy. In return, we expect ownership, accountability, and intrinsic motivation.

CURRENTLY: This summer, Toco is launching in Copenhagen, offering a unique opportunity to join a climate-forward movement of talented individuals called the Custodians of the Common. Custodians are passionate about using their time and talents to protect the environment and solve the greatest challenge of our time - climate change. Custodians come together to create change NOW, driven by the realisation that time is running out for the planet’s finite resources and there is NO PLAN(ET) B! As a Custodian, you will be at the forefront of introducing Toco to Copenhagen, spreading the word, and onboarding businesses and individuals to join the movement and start using a currency that directly contributes to sustainable projects that remove or reduce carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, to combat climate change. Beyond the climate impact that each Custodian creates, Custodians volunteer their time and are financially rewarded based on the climate impact they create.

Danish Social Innovation Club (DANSIC) is Denmark's largest platform for social innovation. It is a voluntary non-profit organization run by ambitious Danish and international students which aids and inspires different actors in society, with social innovation methods and interdisciplinary work. We work to solve some of the greatest current societal challenges. Our mission is to create a society that is socially, environmentally and economically sustainable. DANSIC is supported by an Advisory Board of leading individuals and organizations in the fields of social innovation and entrepreneurship, and receive aid from sponsors and funds. DANSIC holds an annual event where different actors participate, and social innovation and specific societal issues are on the agenda. Each year DANSIC focuses on a different aspect related to promote a social and sustainable change.

Hybrid Greentech inspires organisations to be green pioneers and invest in energy storage so we together can reach 100% renewable energy. We want to make it simple to leverage the full revenue potential for energy storage. We and our customers are in an emerging renewable market that will face 30 fold growth over the coming years. Hybrid Greentech is a 4-year old company entering the scale-up phase, developing an AI-driven software ecosystem for sizing and real-time optimisation of energy storage, and Power to X solutions in energy markets. We are a team of 10 people with strong domain knowledge in renewable energy, energy storage, machine learning, and AI who want to revolutionise energy storage, grid-scale battery systems, and Power to X flexibility in energy and power markets to balance the generation and the consumption of the electric power systems with large shares of renewable energy.

Aguardio helps hotels save water and costs, while improving their sustainability.  In order to save water resources, our goal is to reduce the water consumption during showers. Our mission is simple – to reduce water consumption by supporting, improving and developing sustainable behaviour. Responsibly is a sustainability tech start-up with vision of making every purchase in the world responsible 🌍 There's no bigger problem out there than the climate, and procurement represents a big part of the solution - when purchase decisions are made on the background of responsible data like CO2 footprint, suppliers have a huge incentive to change. However, procurement is becoming overloaded with complexity. Different frameworks, different data sources, different coverage, making it difficult to make purchase decisions to improve your responsibility profile and scope 3 emissions. At Responsibly, we're trying to solve this issue by using leading technologies and data science, to build a supplier data platform that makes it easier to source responsibly. We're founded by two serial entrepreneurs with previous successes like Dixa and Ofload, and have received pre-seed funding from some of Europe's top VCs and angels. We're now building a top-tier team to tackle this big thing called climate, and have fun while we're doing it 🤘
