Danish Social Innovation Club (DANSIC) is Denmark's largest platform for social innovation. It is a voluntary non-profit organization run by ambitious Danish and international students which aids and inspires different actors in society, with social innovation methods and interdisciplinary work. We work to solve some of the greatest current societal challenges. Our mission is to create a society that is socially, environmentally and economically sustainable. DANSIC is supported by an Advisory Board of leading individuals and organizations in the fields of social innovation and entrepreneurship, and receive aid from sponsors and funds. DANSIC holds an annual event where different actors participate, and social innovation and specific societal issues are on the agenda. Each year DANSIC focuses on a different aspect related to promote a social and sustainable change.

Custodians are passionate about using their time and talents to protect the environment and solve the greatest challenge of our time - climate change. Our Mission: Normative is here to make known and reduce the sustainability impact of all economic activities on the planet. We provide science-based carbon accounting software and tailored advice from net zero experts, enabling companies to reduce their carbon footprints. Our Story: Normative is rooted in climate research. In 2013, co-founder Kristian Rönn was working at Oxford University, simulating the consequences of climate change. The results showed that global warming would cause extreme human suffering, motivating Kristian to leave academia and take action. He joined forces with Adam Wamai Egesa and Robin Undall-Behrend, and in 2014 the world’s first carbon accounting engine was born to help humanity achieve net zero emissions and reverse the trajectory of climate change. We now have offices in Stockholm, Copenhagen, and London, and are actively hiring talent to join the mission. We're making innovations for assessing marine biodiversity, essentially building underwater cameras and using AI to count fish. We're in the midst of a biodiversity crisis, the wildlife population has shrunk by 73% in the last 50 years alone, and it is especially bad in marine environments. At Anemo we monitor the effect of man-made structures on the marine environment to help our clients comply, quantify impacts, and continually improve nature-positive outcomes.

Circular Innovation Lab is a research and policy think tank, based in Denmark and India, accelerating the transition to a circular economy, through its for-profit arm, Circular Innovation Lab ApS, and non-profit arm, CIL Foundation MTU. We collaborate with national governments, UN agencies, and international organisations to create circular economy solutions that drive the transition to a circular economy forward. ​We work closely with these stakeholders to help them gain a deeper understanding of the potential of a circular economy transition. Together, we develop solutions that assist them in adopting circular principles and actions. We support them in the entire process from the ideation, research, and analysis phase up to implementation and monitoring.

Agoprene is a biotech startup based in Oslo and Copenhagen. Agoprene is developing furniture foam from biomass to help the furniture industry reduce their need for petrochemicals. ​ Globally, furniture foam, which is derived from petroleum, accounts for 105 million tonnes of CO2 emissions annually. One armchair for example, emits an average of 43 kg CO2e, almost half of which is due to furniture foam. ​ Agoprene's foam is completely free of petrochemicals. We believe finding planet-friendly alternatives isn’t a challenge; it’s an opportunity.

Enabling the bioindustrial revolution with the fastest enzymes. Many of the hardest climate and environmental problems can be solved through synthetic biology. But biosolutions are held back by the enzyme efficiency bottleneck. The ENZIDIA Enzyme Engineering Platform will address this with 10^4 to 10^7 times higher efficiency than current technologies.
