Maker is a member-based non-profit association founded in 2015 as a platform for the maker movement in Denmark and the Nordics. Since then, we've evolved from a traditional makerspace into an open lab and community central for physical entrepreneurs, startups and independent creatives. We develop, share and learn together with our members and across projects in the EU, in Denmark and in the Baltic Sea Region. Together with research institutions, companies, makerspaces and governments, we focus on sustainability and physical entrepreneurship; from open-source hardware to distributed design, aiming to transition makerspaces into circular spaces and develop sustainable practices for recycling materials, local production, and more.

We break down the problems to identify what can be improved, where know-how and first principles to derive the solutions which are taken from idea to concept, MVP and final solution. We want to contribute to increase the sustainability of the world and socities we live in.

Der er fleksible arbejdstider, med mulighed for remote work, så du er ikke bundet til en kontorstol 8 timer om dagen fra 8-16. En gang imellem er der øl på havnen eller på Børsen. Og ja, Svendborg har både Børsen og en lækker havn, hvor man kan nyde hinandens selskab efter arbejde.

ParkNotice er en dansk startup, der digitaliserer parkeringsafgifter. Hvert år udstedes over en halv million parkeringsbøder i Danmark, men processen er stadig analog og papirbaseret. Vi vil gøre det smartere, hurtigere og mere brugervenligt for både bilister og parkeringsselskaber. Med ParkNotice kan bilister modtage deres parkeringsafgifter digitalt — via app, e-Boks, SMS eller push-besked — så de undgår papir på bilruden, forsinkede breve eller bøder, der forsvinder. Samtidig sparer parkeringsselskaber og kommuner tid, penge og papir. Løsningen kan på sigt udvides til andre typer af bøder, men vi starter med parkeringsbøder, hvor problemet er størst og mest presserende.
