Gate2Horizon is a new company, which leverages the experience of its employees in the domain of so-called "exploitation of project results" in large EU-funded Research & Innovation projects (under the Horizon Europe - Pillar II funding programme). We work across diverse sectors such as Bioeconomy, Circular Economy, Mining, Aquaculture, and Health Policy. As part of the consortium in the EU projects, we assist project partners in the exploitation of their project results with a hands-on approach and tools to make sure the results coming out of the project are "exploited" at the end of the project's lifetime, that is "made us of to tackle societal problems, in policymaking or for commercial purposes". In the initial phase, we identify and characterize results and their potential owners. We thereafter monitor them and select the ones with the most potential, which we nurture throughout the project lifetime with the help of our tools and services.​ We do it through: - conducting workshops on different commercial and entrepreneurial topics - holding individual coaching sessions with project partners - using credible methodologies such as the Value Proposition, Business Model Canvas, EC's Innovation Radar In a nutshell, we exploit the project results and help them on their journey towards market-ready and standalone businesses or we connect them to partners that can help with further research and development toward market readiness.

PurCity's patent pending solution (GapS), consists of novel industrial facade panels that are great substitutes for exterior facades/flat surfaces of any New/Existing buildings. Leveraging from chimney effect/natural ventilation, polluted air is naturally sucked into the panels and forced to pass through a harmless chemical process that traps CO2, particulate matter PM2.5/10 & inorganic gases. Then clean air will be delivered into the building through the Air conditioning (HVAC) system. GapS utilizes smart monitoring and control solutions, to optimize its performance. The collected polluted liquid is continuously recycled, generating valuable byproducts like Hydrogen, pure O2 and CO2 that are sellable in the market, benefiting sectors such as food, cement and agriculture.

Provargo A/S er markedsførende indenfor drikkevarekontrol. Vi udvikler, producerer og leverer online baserede doserings og kontrolsystemer til hospitality branchen, med et væld af kunder i både Danmark og resten af verden. Vi gennemgår i øjeblikket en spændende fase i vores udvikling som virksomhed, med et større fokus rettet mod bar,-, hotel-, og restaurationskæder. Samtidig arbejder vi også tæt sammen med distributører på markedet. I bar og restaurationsbranchen er det almindeligt at se relativt høje spildprocenter på drikkevarer. Det resulterer i to problemstillinger: 1) Et stort tab af omsætning. 2) Manglende overblik over reel lagerbeholdning af eksempelvis fustager, flasker, post-mix beholdere, osv. Derfor har vi udviklet systemer der synliggør på et online dashboard, nøjagtigt hvad der tappes af såvel spiritus, som øl, vin og sodavand. Alle tappedata registreres med tidsstempler og er i stand til at give brugeren et overblik over forbrugsmønstre, lagerniveauer, spidsbelastninger af personale, faktisk forbrug af drikkevarerne der tilbydes, m.v. Vores kerneprodukt er i stand til at integrere med cloud-baserede POS systemer, hvilket gør det muligt for udvalgte personer (eksempelvis ejere eller lokale driftschefer) at overvåge balanceforholdet imellem salg og faktiske udskænkninger. Herudover tilbyder vi også øvrige løsninger der sikrer at kvaliteten af drikkevarerne er i top, eksempelvis ved temperaturkontrol og køler overvågning. Da vi er en virksomhed der selv udvikler og producerer alle vore løsninger fra bunden, inklusiv vores cloud, har vi også stor fokus på løbende at optimere og forbedre alle elementer. Beleaf is a platform that want to make it easy for everyone to hold plants. The platform consists of three parts: The app - a mobile application where users can put in their plant and get an overview of when they need caring. The device – a device that uploads data about the plants to the cloud. The shop – a webshop where users can configure a plant and get a gardener to prepare quality plants with the correct growing media. With the usage of new technologies, we're making plants digital.

Plastic Change en dansk miljøorganisation med et ambitiøst internationalt sigte Vi arbejder hårdt med at knække den stigende kurve over plastikspild. Plastik er overalt – på land og til vands. Tre generationers forbrug af plastik har sat sine spor. Kun en lille del bliver genbrugt eller destrueret. Resten ligger i naturen i hundredvis af år. Vi arbejder for at reducere vores enorme plastikproduktion ved blandt andet at eliminere unødvendig engangsplastik fra vores produkter, ved at sætte bedre rammer for hvordan vi designer produkter til mere genbrug, og det plastik vi ikke kan genbruge, skal vi kunne genanvende. Vi arbejder både på politisk niveau, sammen med befolkningen, i samarbejde med innovationspartnere, på internationalt niveau, sammen med forskere og med at uddanne vores fremtidige generationer om problemet. Plastic Change består af et fast dedikeret team og en række uundværlige frivillige kræfter. With the average car sitting idle 22 hours a day,  there had to be a better way to put the cars parked on our streets to better use.   By providing a safe and seamless way for people to share cars with each other we want to change the way the world thinks about car ownership.

With our jackets already on some of music biggest names like Pharrell, Rihanna, Muse, Kendrick Lamar, Chance the Rapper and many more we have a solid foot in the door with the music industry.

BUG AMOK’s opgave er at vise, hvordan insekter er et velsmagende, sundt og grønt fødevarealternativ gennem udvikling og produktion af innovative færdigretter med insektprotein, samt opskriftudvikling, afvikling af madkurser og foredrag med klimavenlige fødevarer på menuen. Virksomheden har base på iværksætterkontoret ‘The Kitchen’ på Nørrebrogade 44 i Aarhus C. BUG AMOK blev startet i 2017 på baggrund af en lyst til at vise, hvordan vi gennem ændringer af vores madvaner kan gøre en forskel i den grønne omstilling og dermed omsætte verdensmål til konkrete handlingsmål. Vi ønsker at inspirere unge familier til at vælge bæredygtigt insektprotein frem for konventionelt kød og gøre det nemt og tilgængeligt ved at producere attraktive færdigretter.

We`ve been organising Startup Weekends in Copenhagen for 4 years, educating and inspiring hundreds of people to become entrepreneurs. We were lucky to see it from the first row how #CPHSW helped people get into the entrepreneur mindset and to try new challenges. We always believed that one of strongest forces were the network of people you created during those crazy weekends. This is why we created Startup Weekend Mega: The biggest Startup Weekend ever organised in Europe.  We´re an awesome group of volunteers coming from a wide variety of backgrounds. All of us have their own stories about how we ended up joining the #CPHSW family.  We are proud that we`re 100% voluntarily run organisation and that we created a culture where everybody feels safe to experiment and make their own decisions. And we`re always there to support each other outside Startup Weekends.  We think being part of the organiser family is an excellent opportunity to try out craziest ideas in your field. A playground where we can have a lot of fun and learn a ton. After years of experimentation now we`re organising our biggest event, Startup Weekend Mega, and we would like to involve new people on this journey.
