ESEBA, a deep tech startup from DTU, transforms low-quality textile waste into MDF boards without binders or formaldehyde. We offer a sustainable, non-toxic alternative to traditional wood-based panels. Textile waste is a massive and growing problem in Europe – less than 1% is recycled into new products, and most ends up incinerated. At the same time, formaldehyde regulations are tightening, and deforestation pressures are increasing demand for alternatives to virgin wood. ESEBA’s mission is to enable local, circular board production through a scalable, plug-and-produce production line for furniture manufacturers.

Målbar has created a highly advanced digital tool to measure the climate impact of products. The uniquely user-friendly tool allows companies to screen products on three precision levels, making it possible to obtain useful results without completing the traditional resource heavy life cycle assessment. Thereby, Målbar is helping companies in the furniture and design industries measure the carbon footprint of their products and use the results as a point of departure for making more responsible design and production choices.

We aim to bring a brand to life that makes people excited to cycle through winter because of the design and functionality it offers the cyclist. Our three product strategy takes the car seat heating concept and expands it into a visionary perspective of bicycles as a year-round transportation mode. Abrigo in Spanish means jacket - and the latin origin word, connotes shelter. We want to make cycles a a form of shelter so that we are able to bridge the transportation gap whereby summertime cycling far outweighs wintertime cycling. We are starting with heated seatwear, and are going to expand into handles and pedals, in due course.

BUG AMOK blev startet i 2017 på baggrund af en lyst til at vise, hvordan vi gennem ændringer af vores madvaner kan gøre en forskel i den grønne omstilling og dermed omsætte verdensmål til konkrete handlingsmål. Vi ønsker at inspirere unge familier til at vælge bæredygtigt insektprotein frem for konventionelt kød og gøre det nemt og tilgængeligt ved at producere attraktive færdigretter.

My startup is in the planning stage and aims to deploy scalable solar-hybrid mini-grids—using technology of Nordic origin—to provide reliable, affordable clean energy to general hospitals across Sub-Saharan Africa. Hospitals widely suffer from unreliable electricity (only ~50% have consistent access per WHO data), leading to frequent blackouts, costly diesel dependence, and life-threatening interruptions to surgeries, emergencies, diagnostics, labs, and refrigeration.The venture targets massive untapped demand in a high-priority healthcare sector, with stable anchor revenue from hospitals, diesel cost savings, falling component costs, supportive policies, and non-binding government agreements in select countries to facilitate rollout—creating very profitable scaling alongside major social/environmental impact for uninterrupted lifesaving operations.Actively exploring feasibility, partnerships, and pilots. ParkNotice er en dansk startup, der digitaliserer parkeringsafgifter. Hvert år udstedes over en halv million parkeringsbøder i Danmark, men processen er stadig analog og papirbaseret. Vi vil gøre det smartere, hurtigere og mere brugervenligt for både bilister og parkeringsselskaber. Med ParkNotice kan bilister modtage deres parkeringsafgifter digitalt — via app, e-Boks, SMS eller push-besked — så de undgår papir på bilruden, forsinkede breve eller bøder, der forsvinder. Samtidig sparer parkeringsselskaber og kommuner tid, penge og papir. Løsningen kan på sigt udvides til andre typer af bøder, men vi starter med parkeringsbøder, hvor problemet er størst og mest presserende.

These systems enable greenhouse growers to produce plants more efficiently and sustainably, without the use of chemicals. Traditional horticulture methods often require significant space and can lead to nutrient runoff, which negatively impacts the environment. Additionally, the use of chemicals in plant production poses health risks and environmental concerns. Hydrovertic addresses these issues by offering a vertical growing system that allows for multiple layers of plants, supplemented with LED lighting. PurCity's patent pending solution (GapS), consists of novel industrial facade panels that are great substitutes for exterior facades/flat surfaces of any New/Existing buildings. Leveraging from chimney effect/natural ventilation, polluted air is naturally sucked into the panels and forced to pass through a harmless chemical process that traps CO2, particulate matter PM2.5/10 & inorganic gases. Then clean air will be delivered into the building through the Air conditioning (HVAC) system. GapS utilizes smart monitoring and control solutions, to optimize its performance. The collected polluted liquid is continuously recycled, generating valuable byproducts like Hydrogen, pure O2 and CO2 that are sellable in the market, benefiting sectors such as food, cement and agriculture.
