Plastic Change en dansk miljøorganisation med et ambitiøst internationalt sigte Vi arbejder hårdt med at knække den stigende kurve over plastikspild. Plastik er overalt – på land og til vands. Tre generationers forbrug af plastik har sat sine spor. Kun en lille del bliver genbrugt eller destrueret. Resten ligger i naturen i hundredvis af år. Vi arbejder for at reducere vores enorme plastikproduktion ved blandt andet at eliminere unødvendig engangsplastik fra vores produkter, ved at sætte bedre rammer for hvordan vi designer produkter til mere genbrug, og det plastik vi ikke kan genbruge, skal vi kunne genanvende. Vi arbejder både på politisk niveau, sammen med befolkningen, i samarbejde med innovationspartnere, på internationalt niveau, sammen med forskere og med at uddanne vores fremtidige generationer om problemet. The green transition will be expensive. Utiligize makes the only data-driven asset management program that incorporates 2030/2040 EV, battery, wind and solar forecasts into lifetime models for every asset a utility owns. Electric, water, sewage and district heating companies use our software to reduce costs by atl east 25% or increase quality of service (QoS) by 25%. We make the green transition affordable. Our platform consists of three main components: 1. A smartphone app for data collection out in the field. 2. A Cloud backend that creates load and voltage forecasts with and without demand response, plus revenue cap, benchmarking, tariff and QoS optimization. 3. A front-end with system-wide KPIs. We use moss as a green cell factory to produce small natural products. Physcomitrella patens (spreading earthmoss) is the perfect plant for this. Using Physcomitrella we produce fine chemicals that are normally obtained from rare, endangered or non-agricultural plants.Our products include living fragrant plants, and fragrance compounds sold as extracts.

We`ve been organising Startup Weekends in Copenhagen for 4 years, educating and inspiring hundreds of people to become entrepreneurs. We were lucky to see it from the first row how #CPHSW helped people get into the entrepreneur mindset and to try new challenges. We always believed that one of strongest forces were the network of people you created during those crazy weekends. This is why we created Startup Weekend Mega: The biggest Startup Weekend ever organised in Europe.  We´re an awesome group of volunteers coming from a wide variety of backgrounds. All of us have their own stories about how we ended up joining the #CPHSW family.  We are proud that we`re 100% voluntarily run organisation and that we created a culture where everybody feels safe to experiment and make their own decisions. If successful, we move to a scale-up phase investing more money and/or raise capital from external investors. SCALE cases are more developed. The first team is there, and they are close to a product-market fit.
