CELLUGY

At Cellugy, we’re passionate about creating innovative solutions for one of the most pressing challenges of the 21st century: plastic pollution. Our product, EcoFLEXY, is a 100% natural bio-cellulose material produced by the fermentation of surplus sugar with specific microorganisms. The objective is to replace fosil-based plastics and products in a wide range of applications, from packaging to chemicals.

Tænketanken Brundtland samler den danske forsyningssektor samt rådgivere og leverandører såsom Innargi, Kamstrup, Grundfos, Logstor og COWI. Brundtland arbejder på en vidensbaseret grundlag. Det betyder at anbefalinger laves på baggrund af analyser og ofte i tæt samarbejde med førende eksperter og universiteter. Tænketanken arbejder med tre indsatsområder: Forsyningssektorens bidrag til dansk samfundsøkonomi, herunder eksport af grøn forsyningsteknologi, organisering og demokratisk ejerskab i forsyningssektoren samt grøn omstilling.

Providing solutions to the market which increases the utilization of energy. Energy comes at a cost for the consumer and the environment, whereby we owe it to utilize energy in the most efficient way possible. In some processes the input energy is converted efficiently in conceiving the output, whereas other processes utilize high amounts of energy, which eventually is wasted. Sogreeen Powers mission is to reduce the waste of energy by providing solutions which makes processes more efficient. Sogreen Power brings an analytical and technological approach to the table to recover those large or small margins of efficiency when it makes sense as a business case. We break down the problems to identify what can be improved, where know-how and first principles to derive the solutions which are taken from idea to concept, MVP and final solution. We want to contribute to increase the sustainability of the world and socities we live in.

G&T Battery Solutions’ package covers energy storage, grid stabilization, arbitrage trading, and spans from financing, procurement, installation to full operation and remote support. Our BESS-as-a-service (PaaS) model allows customers to rent batteries for a manageable annual subscription fee, with zero upfront costs. Customers access BESS technology at no cost. Under the Battery Revenue Sharing Agreement, they annually repay loans and receive a share of the annual revenue, net financial costs. G&T Battery Solutions retains battery ownership until the loans are fully repaid. Unbelievable Labs

Based in Aarhus, Denmark, we are a Venture Lab for hard things, worth doing. Contrary to what many may think, the technological progress has stagnated for nearly four decades. Enabling and fundamental innovations such as the practical use of electricity, the telecommunications infrastructure, automatic computing, automotive transportation, heavier than air flight, genomics, and many other examples, all arose prior to the 1970s. What we have witnessed as progress within a generation is largely the application of these technologies in increasingly refined solutions. The latest wave of “softwaretization”, have increased operational efficiencies in multiple industries but also offset culturally and personal demand for tangible products and interactions, by web and app-based experiences. Our core thesis revolves around overcoming challenges in commercialization of scientific breakthroughs by providing the facility between scientists and entrepreneurs. We extend the conventional 10-year venture capital horizon, allowing for the maturation of technologies and customer demand. We focus specifically the hard sciences: physics, chemistry and their derived engineering disciplines. THE PROBLEM Searching second-hand online requires navigating hundreds of platforms and incomplete listings, forcing shoppers to do the heavy lifting of finding and comparing relevant items. The decentralized and the fragmented second-hand market creates a time-consuming and frustrating experience for shoppers to locate desired items among incomplete listings and outdated platforms. THE SOLUTION Koral aggregates millions of second-hand listings into one searchable platform with categorized, indexed data to create a one-stop solution. This eliminates tedious searches across individual platforms, making shopping second-hand is easier by improving discoverability and streamlining the process of finding desired items online.

EIT Climate-KIC (Knowledge and Innovation Community) is Europe’s foremost climate innovation initiative. We understand that keeping global temperature rise below 1.5˚C demands unprecedented change. It requires new social dynamics, ways of doing business, capital flows, policymaking, economic models, and new ways of living. That is why our mission is to leverage the power of systems innovation to transform whole places, industries, and value chains by 2030, working across sectors to develop and scale ambitious, mission-led programmes. Established in 2010 and headquartered in Amsterdam, we orchestrate a community of more than 200 organisations including large corporations and SMEs, municipal and regional governments, universities, and research institutes, as well as non-governmental organisations and uncommon actors. Historically, we have been funded by our founder and core funder, the European Institute for Innovation and Technology (EIT), but we are currently transitioning to a multi-funder model. EIT Climate-KIC colleagues are based in one of our local offices across Europe or work remotely from home based in one of the countries where we have a branch. We meet at our local offices to exchange and connect and use online collaboration tools work with each other and with our Community. On occasion, we meet in-person as teams, and once per year as an organisation.

Mouldflo A/S

Mouldflo A/S is a hardware/software company with innovative and new solutions for the injection moulding industry. We have great hardware and algorithms. Mouldflo can protect your mould and improve quality by quickly identifying cooling problems and alerting the user to various common cooling circuit problems. The Mouldflo system will digitally monitor all of the flow circuits within the mould recording data, both flow and temperature, for every circuit.
