Airlabs is an organisation with foundations in atmospheric chemistry and airflow engineering that has been established out of a desire to tackle the huge social problem of air quality in cities across the world. Our work is the result of active collaboration between our team and some of the world’s leading applied environmental research and engineering institutes. Our deep regulatory expertise, data-driven models, and hands-on client support are what set us apart. Global shipping faces an accelerating tide of climate regulation, from the IMO’s GHG Fuel Intensity targets to FuelEU Maritime and EU ETS. These rules impact everything: fuel costs, asset values, and day-to-day operations. Yet most market players lack the tools and insights to respond; let alone turn compliance into an advantage. We launched Incremental Maritime because we saw a blind spot: climate regulation was outpacing the industry’s ability to respond and the result was confusion, cost, and missed opportunity.
