At Cellugy, we’re passionate about creating innovative solutions for one of the most pressing challenges of the 21st century: plastic pollution. Our product, EcoFLEXY, is a 100% natural bio-cellulose material produced by the fermentation of surplus sugar with specific microorganisms. The objective is to replace fosil-based plastics and products in a wide range of applications, from packaging to chemicals.

Leapcraft orchestrates healthy and efficient buildings. We work with international clients from the public and private sector to deliver actionable insights into the climate in and around their buildings to help them optimize for energy savings and better productivity. We are thought leaders in IoT-sensors and data infrastructure for environmental monitoring.

Maker is a member-based non-profit association founded in 2015 as a platform for the maker movement in Denmark and the Nordics. Since then, we've evolved from a traditional makerspace into an open lab and community central for physical entrepreneurs, startups and independent creatives. We develop, share and learn together with our members and across projects in the EU, in Denmark and in the Baltic Sea Region. Based in Aarhus, Denmark, we are a Venture Lab for hard things, worth doing. Contrary to what many may think, the technological progress has stagnated for nearly four decades. Enabling and fundamental innovations such as the practical use of electricity, the telecommunications infrastructure, automatic computing, automotive transportation, heavier than air flight, genomics, and many other examples, all arose prior to the 1970s. What we have witnessed as progress within a generation is largely the application of these technologies in increasingly refined solutions. The latest wave of “softwaretization”, have increased operational efficiencies in multiple industries but also offset culturally and personal demand for tangible products and interactions, by web and app-based experiences. Our core thesis revolves around overcoming challenges in commercialization of scientific breakthroughs by providing the facility between scientists and entrepreneurs. We extend the conventional 10-year venture capital horizon, allowing for the maturation of technologies and customer demand. We focus specifically the hard sciences: physics, chemistry and their derived engineering disciplines. NIRAS has built the most incredible space for green tech startups with 5000m2 of office space, storage and production facilities. NIRAS Green Tech Hub is for startups seeking an extraordinary office space with cool meeting rooms in a vibrant, green and colorful environment with great coffee in the café. Startups will also be able to rent large storage spaces, build MVPs and have actual production in the production hall. This is the place where startups, innovative ideas and green engineering specialists meet. By accessing not only the vibrating hub with peer entrepreneurs, but also the best engineers specialised in sustainability with in different industries such as food, beverage, building, energy, infrastructure etc. The co-development and collaboration between startups and NIRAS’ many experts will be the fast track to grow ideas and innovations. Currently 25 startups and scaleups saluting the green transition is reciting in the hub on a daily basis, but we are working with more than 100 startups on an annual basis through our different programs and activities.

SolarDrive Container Power (SDCP) is a greentech 🌳 on a mission to deliver carbon-neutral electricity to the world's most remote, off-the-grid, areas and organizations. We do that through our efficient plug & play solar power units that leverage a central part of the global infrastructure - the standardized shipping container. Our product, the Solar Container Power (CPS) units, fits perfectly and easily on top of standard ISO containers and provides electricity in remote areas or in situations where alternatives are expensive or not available. 🌍 Around the world, shipping containers are used as makeshift offices, storage, or place of stay. In this sense, our solution replaces or supplements generators, wind, or grid power. The units come with built-in battery capacity, inverter, MPPT, charger and control system. This means our users only need the sunshine and an extension cable to get power ⚡️ Our product 📦 is patented and has military and civilian applications.
