Seaborg is developing a nuclear reactor technology fundamentally different from what exists today. We are making nuclear an inexpensive, sustainable and safe technology that can out-compete fossil fuels and revolutionise energy markets. We are designing our Compact Molten Salt Reactor to be one of the most sustainable sources of energy in the world. From being a start-up in a basement Seaborg is today employing more than 20 people and scaling fast.

At Lyras, we develop and manufacture systems for the liquid food processing industry.We aim to replace traditional heat-based pasteurization and spore removal in the food processing industry by introducing our novel cold pasteurisation technology, which reduces the energy consumption related to traditional heat-pasteurization by more than 90%.Our goal is to provide a greener and more efficient technological change to a global industry, allowing for a truly sustainable production chain.

We`ve been organising Startup Weekends in Copenhagen for 4 years, educating and inspiring hundreds of people to become entrepreneurs. We were lucky to see it from the first row how #CPHSW helped people get into the entrepreneur mindset and to try new challenges. We always believed that one of strongest forces were the network of people you created during those crazy weekends. This is why we created Startup Weekend Mega: The biggest Startup Weekend ever organised in Europe.  We´re an awesome group of volunteers coming from a wide variety of backgrounds. All of us have their own stories about how we ended up joining the #CPHSW family.  We are proud that we`re 100% voluntarily run organisation and that we created a culture where everybody feels safe to experiment and make their own decisions. CityCharge is a fast growing startup based in Oslo Norway. It was founded in 2018 and is currently receiving support from InsjUIO incubator, and collaborating with Xplorico and other partners. We are launching our product and services to Stockholm Sweden in 2020. CityCharge gives users' mobile phone power on demand through its network of portable power banks, whilst providing venues with a unique marketing tool driving customer flow. Users can find CityCharge stations in their favourite venues, like shops, restaurants and cafes, all over the Nordics. Open the app to find the stations near them. CityCharge’s portable power banks include cables for all types of phones with fast charging service, giving users the freedom to charge on the go. Users can return the power bank to any CityCharge station in the network, from the local cafe to the favourite nightclub. Abrigo in Spanish means jacket - and the latin origin word, connotes shelter. We want to make cycles a a form of shelter so that we are able to bridge the transportation gap whereby summertime cycling far outweighs wintertime cycling. We are starting with heated seatwear, and are going to expand into handles and pedals, in due course.
