PM is a young startup company founded in 2014 as a spinoff from the Department of Micro- and Nanotechnology at DTU. IPM’s main interest is to develop environmental sensors using patentable technology.

We`ve been organising Startup Weekends in Copenhagen for 4 years, educating and inspiring hundreds of people to become entrepreneurs. We were lucky to see it from the first row how #CPHSW helped people get into the entrepreneur mindset and to try new challenges. We always believed that one of strongest forces were the network of people you created during those crazy weekends. This is why we created Startup Weekend Mega: The biggest Startup Weekend ever organised in Europe.  We´re an awesome group of volunteers coming from a wide variety of backgrounds. Vi i Rumett ønsker at sætte fokus på ressourcer og at erstatte noget af de naturlige ressourcer der bliver brugt i gips produktionen med aske affald, men samtidig med at opnå de nævnte cirkulærer mål. Mange af de stakeholdere som vi har snakket med som ville være vores potentielle kunder har syntes at vores koncept er fremragende og ville matche med deres vision men især på at det vil samtidigt løse et konkret problem som plager industrien. Askepladen vil have det samme koncept som gipspladen som anvendes til brandsikre konstruktioner i Danmark, disse plader er brugt i et hvert nybyggeri og renovations projekter, efterspørgslen er stor, da først og fremmest er et reglement krav at bruge gipsplader til brandsikring og akustik, men også er de nemmere at erstatte og installere.

GAIA Express is building sustainable, autonomous VTOL drones designed to replace helicopters in offshore logistics—cutting costs, emissions, and response times. Our long-range ethanol-powered drones operate fully autonomously and can deliver up to 230kg of critical parts, tools, or supplies to ships, rigs, or remote coastal locations across 2400 km. By replacing helicopters—which are costly, carbon-heavy, and logistically inflexible—we provide a cleaner, safer, and far more efficient solution. GAIA Express enables offshore industries to meet urgent needs in within the hour, instead of within hours, while reducing CO₂ emissions by over 95% per delivery compared to traditional helicopters - based on a full lifecycle assesment. Our scalable platform supports everything from spare parts to medical kits, helping the maritime and energy sectors stay operational and sustainable. As a strategy to test and develop smaller drones in order to gain experience with the worlds leading drone developers (Ukrainian companies), we're currently developing drones for the Ukraine.

Målbar has created a highly advanced digital tool to measure the climate impact of products. The uniquely user-friendly tool allows companies to screen products on three precision levels, making it possible to obtain useful results without completing the traditional resource heavy life cycle assessment. Thereby, Målbar is helping companies in the furniture and design industries measure the carbon footprint of their products and use the results as a point of departure for making more responsible design and production choices.

At Coastgrass we have developed a sustainable replacement to crude oil-based plastic materials. By collecting and upcycling eelgrass from the Danish beaches we can offer a variety of different polymer compounds with a much lower carbon footprint than traditional plastic materials. We believe in using renewable natural resources to create climate-friendly solutions, so that we ensure a sustainable future.

The startup is based in the Incubator of DTU, the Danish Technical University in Lyngby. The team will be working to build a solution that solve real world challenges. The goal of WeGo! is to reduce pollution and congestion on our roads. We will achieve this by making it super attractive and effortless for people to share free and available car seats.
