The uMover® is a smart and usability-focused 3-wheel electrical vehicle for transporting people over shorter indoor and outdoor distances (0,5-5 km). It has been developed by us, DTU spinout CJ Company IVS, whom have built the uMover® upon a future mobility concept proposed by Continental AG (CAG). The uMover® targets employees who need to travel frequently within shorter distances, enabling them to become more efficient at work by easing their way of travel and reducing their travel time substantially. The uMover® will be a superior work-environment travel solution, as it – due to its smart design – offers the flexible advantages of walking, but with the similar speed and ease as driving a car or a bike. Drawbacks of the solutions in the market today are high prices, space requirements (especially for cars), no compliance with traffic regulations and laws and poor safety control (limiting the indoor application possibilities). Through cooperation with DTU and CAG we have been able to complete a full proof-of-concept and develop several of the unique mechanical components and are now in the detailing phase of the mechanical and electrical construction for a scale-up of the uMover®.

Ecobotix offers technology that can leverage pesticide-free crop protection. Ecobotix has developed and patented a unique spreader system for gently, evenly and precisely applying natural enemies (beneficial insects and mites). UNO econetwork is young startup developing a digital platform to help businesses make corporate sustainability due diligence easy. Today enyday help customers to start and operate energy communities "behind-the-meter" and next step is to share energy with your local district. A customer could fx. be a large residential multi tenant rental building or social housing - all with collective solar PV installation and evt. battery storage.

We`ve been organising Startup Weekends in Copenhagen for 4 years, educating and inspiring hundreds of people to become entrepreneurs. We were lucky to see it from the first row how #CPHSW helped people get into the entrepreneur mindset and to try new challenges. We always believed that one of strongest forces were the network of people you created during those crazy weekends. This is why we created Startup Weekend Mega: The biggest Startup Weekend ever organised in Europe.  We´re an awesome group of volunteers coming from a wide variety of backgrounds. All of us have their own stories about how we ended up joining the #CPHSW family.  We are proud that we`re 100% voluntarily run organisation and that we created a culture where everybody feels safe to experiment and make their own decisions. And we`re always there to support each other outside Startup Weekends.  We think being part of the organiser family is an excellent opportunity to try out craziest ideas in your field. A playground where we can have a lot of fun and learn a ton.
