The world spends $350 billion annually on chemical R&D and new process plants to create a brighter future. But progress is limited by slow and expensive trial-and-error experimentation and legacy enterprise software, incapable of incorporating state-of-the-art research and compute power. We want to change that. Using technologies such as quantum chemistry and probabilistic machine learning, we have developed a set of breakthrough digital tools that help energy, chemicals and pharma companies develop greener products and more sustainable processes.

The green transition will be expensive. Utiligize makes the only data-driven asset management program that incorporates 2030/2040 EV, battery, wind and solar forecasts into lifetime models for every asset a utility owns. Electric, water, sewage and district heating companies use our software to reduce costs by atl east 25% or increase quality of service (QoS) by 25%. We make the green transition affordable. Our platform consists of three main components: 1. A smartphone app for data collection out in the field. 2. A Cloud backend that creates load and voltage forecasts with and without demand response, plus revenue cap, benchmarking, tariff and QoS optimization. 3. A front-end with system-wide KPIs. We`ve been organising Startup Weekends in Copenhagen for 4 years, educating and inspiring hundreds of people to become entrepreneurs. We were lucky to see it from the first row how #CPHSW helped people get into the entrepreneur mindset and to try new challenges. We always believed that one of strongest forces were the network of people you created during those crazy weekends. This is why we created Startup Weekend Mega: The biggest Startup Weekend ever organised in Europe.  We´re an awesome group of volunteers coming from a wide variety of backgrounds. All of us have their own stories about how we ended up joining the #CPHSW family.  We are proud that we`re 100% voluntarily run organisation and that we created a culture where everybody feels safe to experiment and make their own decisions. Vi vil bekæmpe madspild globalt ved at sætte ind lokalt. På godt et år har vi fået mere end 500 butikker og 130.000 brugere ombord i Danmark, som hver dag via YourLocal-appen er med til at reducere madspild i Danmark. Vores næste store mål er det tyske marked.

My startup is in the planning stage and aims to deploy scalable solar-hybrid mini-grids—using technology of Nordic origin—to provide reliable, affordable clean energy to general hospitals across Sub-Saharan Africa. Hospitals widely suffer from unreliable electricity (only ~50% have consistent access per WHO data), leading to frequent blackouts, costly diesel dependence, and life-threatening interruptions to surgeries, emergencies, diagnostics, labs, and refrigeration.The venture targets massive untapped demand in a high-priority healthcare sector, with stable anchor revenue from hospitals, diesel cost savings, falling component costs, supportive policies, and non-binding government agreements in select countries to facilitate rollout—creating very profitable scaling alongside major social/environmental impact for uninterrupted lifesaving operations.Actively exploring feasibility, partnerships, and pilots. Sogreeen Powers mission is to reduce the waste of energy by providing solutions which makes processes more efficient. Sogreen Power brings an analytical and technological approach to the table to recover those large or small margins of efficiency when it makes sense as a business case. We break down the problems to identify what can be improved, where know-how and first principles to derive the solutions which are taken from idea to concept, MVP and final solution. ESEBA, a deep tech startup from DTU, transforms low-quality textile waste into MDF boards without binders or formaldehyde. We offer a sustainable, non-toxic alternative to traditional wood-based panels. Textile waste is a massive and growing problem in Europe – less than 1% is recycled into new products, and most ends up incinerated. At the same time, formaldehyde regulations are tightening, and deforestation pressures are increasing demand for alternatives to virgin wood. ESEBA’s mission is to enable local, circular board production through a scalable, plug-and-produce production line for furniture manufacturers.
