BORN Denmark IVS

BORN Denmark is a danish company in growth. We are currently 3 shops online: powerbanken.dk ApS, Cooltights.dk ApS and BORN Nordic ApS (GreyLime) - we are constantly developing our companies and are always looking for news ways to do so. The Apple Girl

We’re a biotechnology company creating something new, valuable and useful from what otherwise would be trash. In a circular business model we upcycle food waste into alternative biodegradable materials as a supplier internationally and in DK. In this way we solve a waste management problem. Our unique storytelling and sensuous tactility in Apple Leather really makes an impact with users.  Work for us is also play and we really enjoy ourselves when we’re together making things happen. We love mistakes and in the lab you discover something new every day. There’s always an idea you can follow through and test on.  We all have very different competencies but contribute equally in unique ways to the team research. Weekly workshops with Skylab Ignite and Stardust at DTU are where we grow together. We’re also making brainstorming jam sessions after work. You can look forward to chill music and nights out on the weekends.

SHADE

We are creating a never seen before home light ecosystem which offers superior intelligent light functionality. We are working with internationally renowned light and lamp designers to create our first line of products. Shade aims to change the way the world uses light and create a better light for a better living. Working at SHADE means working with some really cool people. We take pride in getting things done and having fun while doing it. Our two core values are that we work with the best and then we give them room to succeed.

FlexMeter ApS

FlexMeter is a Danish Cleantech dedicated to pioneering innovative solutions for energy savings. The company was co-founded by Andreas Rahelt and Lars Elmvang and has developed a unique concept that leverages data and technology to optimize energy consumption and reduce environmental impact. The company has completed more than 200 successful projects saving our clients up to 34% of their energy consumption. Our mission is to empower and nudge individuals and organizations to make smarter, more sustainable choices that benefit both the planet and their bottom line.

We are on a mission to enable product professionals across the globe to create better and more sustainable products. CityCharge

CityCharge is a fast growing startup based in Oslo Norway. It was founded in 2018 and is currently receiving support from InsjUIO incubator, and collaborating with Xplorico and other partners. We are launching our product and services to Stockholm Sweden in 2020. CityCharge gives users' mobile phone power on demand through its network of portable power banks, whilst providing venues with a unique marketing tool driving customer flow. Users can find CityCharge stations in their favourite venues, like shops, restaurants and cafes, all over the Nordics. Open the app to find the stations near them. CityCharge’s portable power banks include cables for all types of phones with fast charging service, giving users the freedom to charge on the go. Users can return the power bank to any CityCharge station in the network, from the local cafe to the favourite nightclub. CityCharge's mission is to give users opportunity to be powered and stay connected any time any where, and to turn that need into venues benefits. In short term, we provide power bank sharing service for charging the phone.

EV-Remarketing

At EV-Remarketing we’ve built a digital platform that transforms how used electric vehicles are bought and sold across Europe. We take the complexity out of selling an EV - from offer to payment to pickup - and replace it with speed, transparency and fairness. Last year we completed over 5,000 vehicle transactions with a 98% success rate, helping more than 25,000 sellers across Europe. Our tech stack handles everything: automatic data-extraction from documents using AI, integration with national vehicle databases, fraud detection, full digital workflows and logistics orchestration. We focus exclusively on electric vehicles, giving us deep domain expertise - which means we offer better value to sellers and turn-around times that beat traditional routes.

Elby

Personal transportation is one of the greatest sources to Co2-emmission and air pollution. The change from a fossil fuel car to an EV is the lowest hanging fruits to decrease this emmission. Before you make this shift, you want to make sure that you can charge your car, which can be challenging if you live in a city, where you depend on a public roll out of EV charging infrastructure, which often lacks behind. This is what we want to change with Elby. Elby's solution enables an ubiquitous roll out on market conditions and at a marginal cost of the known solutions.

Easysort

We are building large-scale robots with computer vision to sort all waste in extremely high purity. You can read more about our mission, a detailed description of the current situation, and our plan for how Easysort works on our website: https://easysort.org/. You are right for the team if you are passionate about building robots and/or their AI controls. Our main focus is keeping the team small. Easysort is not profitable yet. We expect to be able to pay you before the end of 2025, but all positions are unpaid and current equity-based. We expect everyone to be on-site all the time when working with Easysort.

Mavi Bioscience

Livestock production is one of the largest contributors to global methane emissions. As the demand for meat and dairy grows, so do emissions. Our planet cannot afford this trajectory, but together, we can change it. We know that fighting climate change requires bold action backed by science. Perma Padel ApS

Perma Padel is on a mission to become a leading global racket sports brand and equipment manufacturer, defined by an unwavering commitment to premium performance, sustainability, and innovation. Perma Padel is the first to apply a novel industrial manufacturing process for padel rackets using 100% recyclable thermoplastic carbon fiber, unlocking a new era of performance, sustainability, and scalability. By moving from manual labor to precision automation, we slash manufacturing time significantly, while delivering a product that is twice as durable as the competition. Our Core Innovations Include: MonoFrame™: A supercar-inspired unibody design that removes the traditional hollow internal frame. This creates a stronger racket with a larger, more forgiving sweet spot. OmniCore™: High-grade foam from edge to edge. This eliminates dead zones, maximizes energy return, and significantly reduces vibration to lower the risk of injury. FutureFiber™: Our proprietary thermoplastic carbon fiber allows for a fully circular model. Unlike toxic epoxy-based rackets, our materials are 100% recyclable and enable zero-waste manufacturing. We have already secured a launch partnership with Denmark's biggest retailer and have an organic waitlist of over 700 players. Unbelievable Labs

Based in Aarhus, Denmark, we are a Venture Lab for hard things, worth doing. Contrary to what many may think, the technological progress has stagnated for nearly four decades. Enabling and fundamental innovations such as the practical use of electricity, the telecommunications infrastructure, automatic computing, automotive transportation, heavier than air flight, genomics, and many other examples, all arose prior to the 1970s. What we have witnessed as progress within a generation is largely the application of these technologies in increasingly refined solutions. The latest wave of “softwaretization”, have increased operational efficiencies in multiple industries but also offset culturally and personal demand for tangible products and interactions, by web and app-based experiences. Our core thesis revolves around overcoming challenges in commercialization of scientific breakthroughs by providing the facility between scientists and entrepreneurs. We extend the conventional 10-year venture capital horizon, allowing for the maturation of technologies and customer demand. We focus specifically the hard sciences: physics, chemistry and their derived engineering disciplines.
