RAND Boats is a boat producer, but also a technology and design company, focusing on clean energy development.Easily noted in shape of our boats, is the constant goal of pushing the boundaries of design and technology. Improving the boats for sustainable electric engines is one of our specialties and the hull’s shape is a clear example of this. This results is better performance, range and higher speeds. The boat simply consumes less electricity or gas, because of the reduced hydrodynamic drag.

We back bold entrepreneurs in their earliest stages and help shape the foundation of their aspirations. We classify investments into three categories; BUILD, SCALE, and FOMO. Building cases are companies that are so early that the company might not even be registered with the authorities yet. It’s merely an idea that we need to shape together, right from the beginning. Here we put in lots of hours and enough capital to build a minimum viable product and test the product on the market. If successful, we move to a scale-up phase investing more money and/or raise capital from external investors. SCALE cases are more developed. The first team is there, and they are close to a product-market fit. We help build the foundation with capital, advisory and agreed-upon milestones within, e.g., legal work, growth hacking, or strategy. Finally, yes, we do also invest in FOMO cases with only capital…

Tænketanken arbejder med tre indsatsområder: Forsyningssektorens bidrag til dansk samfundsøkonomi, herunder eksport af grøn forsyningsteknologi, organisering og demokratisk ejerskab i forsyningssektoren samt grøn omstilling.

You are right for the team if you are passionate about building robots and/or their AI controls. Our main focus is keeping the team small. Easysort is not profitable yet. Gate2Horizon is a new company, which leverages the experience of its employees in the domain of so-called "exploitation of project results" in large EU-funded Research & Innovation projects (under the Horizon Europe - Pillar II funding programme). We work across diverse sectors such as Bioeconomy, Circular Economy, Mining, Aquaculture, and Health Policy. As part of the consortium in the EU projects, we assist project partners in the exploitation of their project results with a hands-on approach and tools to make sure the results coming out of the project are "exploited" at the end of the project's lifetime, that is "made us of to tackle societal problems, in policymaking or for commercial purposes". In the initial phase, we identify and characterize results and their potential owners. We thereafter monitor them and select the ones with the most potential, which we nurture throughout the project lifetime with the help of our tools and services.​ We do it through: - conducting workshops on different commercial and entrepreneurial topics - holding individual coaching sessions with project partners - using credible methodologies such as the Value Proposition, Business Model Canvas, EC's Innovation Radar In a nutshell, we exploit the project results and help them on their journey towards market-ready and standalone businesses or we connect them to partners that can help with further research and development toward market readiness.

Many people are talking about the smart grid and how we can reach 100% sustainable energy, and avoid global warming getting out of hand, by intelligently balancing the consumption so it fits with the electricity production. At True Energy we're already doing it! True Energy offers a smart charging app to our end users so they can register their car or charger and have it start or stop charging based on the hour of day and the electricity price, so the user optimizes their charging to be cheapest. The service is free of charge for the end user because they participate in our flexibility pool where the power companies can buy offsetting of the consumption if the grid is overloaded or production is expensive. We use Google Workspace, GitLab as code repo, Jira for our agile project management, and Slack for chat. We have a policy of 100% line coverage for unit tests, and want to support continuous delivery. We focus on collaboration and an open, inclusive work environment. Our team is multinational, and the working language is English, so full proficiency is required.. We have team members in several time zones.

Agoprene is a biotech startup based in Oslo and Copenhagen. Agoprene is developing furniture foam from biomass to help the furniture industry reduce their need for petrochemicals. ​ Globally, furniture foam, which is derived from petroleum, accounts for 105 million tonnes of CO2 emissions annually. One armchair for example, emits an average of 43 kg CO2e, almost half of which is due to furniture foam. ​ Agoprene's foam is completely free of petrochemicals. We believe finding planet-friendly alternatives isn’t a challenge; it’s an opportunity.
