Agoprene is developing furniture foam from biomass to help the furniture industry reduce their need for petrochemicals. ​ Globally, furniture foam, which is derived from petroleum, accounts for 105 million tonnes of CO2 emissions annually. One armchair for example, emits an average of 43 kg CO2e, almost half of which is due to furniture foam. ​ Agoprene's foam is completely free of petrochemicals. We believe finding planet-friendly alternatives isn’t a challenge; it’s an opportunity.

At Coastgrass we have developed a sustainable replacement to crude oil-based plastic materials. By collecting and upcycling eelgrass from the Danish beaches we can offer a variety of different polymer compounds with a much lower carbon footprint than traditional plastic materials. Vi arbejder for at reducere vores enorme plastikproduktion ved blandt andet at eliminere unødvendig engangsplastik fra vores produkter, ved at sætte bedre rammer for hvordan vi designer produkter til mere genbrug, og det plastik vi ikke kan genbruge, skal vi kunne genanvende. We’re a biotechnology company creating something new, valuable and useful from what otherwise would be trash. In a circular business model we upcycle food waste into alternative biodegradable materials as a supplier internationally and in DK. In this way we solve a waste management problem. Our unique storytelling and sensuous tactility in Apple Leather really makes an impact with users.  Work for us is also play and we really enjoy ourselves when we’re together making things happen. We love mistakes and in the lab you discover something new every day. There’s always an idea you can follow through and test on.  We all have very different competencies but contribute equally in unique ways to the team research. Weekly workshops with Skylab Ignite and Stardust at DTU are where we grow together. We’re also making brainstorming jam sessions after work. Our goal is to offer high-performance bio-compostable materials and create true closed-loop solutions where the material is not discarded after use but returned to nature in an environmentally friendly way.

Many people are talking about the smart grid and how we can reach 100% sustainable energy, and avoid global warming getting out of hand, by intelligently balancing the consumption so it fits with the electricity production. At True Energy we're already doing it! True Energy offers a smart charging app to our end users so they can register their car or charger and have it start or stop charging based on the hour of day and the electricity price, so the user optimizes their charging to be cheapest. The service is free of charge for the end user because they participate in our flexibility pool where the power companies can buy offsetting of the consumption if the grid is overloaded or production is expensive. We use Google Workspace, GitLab as code repo, Jira for our agile project management, and Slack for chat. We have a policy of 100% line coverage for unit tests, and want to support continuous delivery. We focus on collaboration and an open, inclusive work environment. Our team is multinational, and the working language is English, so full proficiency is required.. We have team members in several time zones.

Vi passer på miljøet og bruger kun 3l. vand Vores dampmetode sparer på vandforbruget. En liter vand forvandles til 1.700 liter tørdamp. En dampvask af din bil udgøres reelt set kun af tre liter vand – i modsætning til en traditionel bilvask hvor der anvendes overr 100 liter vand. Når der anvendes tørdamp, rengøres bilen vigtigst af alt helt uden brug af vaskekemikalier. Hensynet til miljøet er nemlig Steamgreen’ absolutte metier, og det er vi rigtig stolt over. + Kun 3-5 l. vand pr. bilvask modsat traditionel bilvask, hvor der bruges over 100 l. vand. Den ultimative bakteriebekæmper Vi dræber ca. 95% af bilens bakterier Steamgreen’ metode til dampvask dræber mere end 95 procent af bakterierne i din bil.
